Biden calls Bush comments 'bulls**t'

Biden had some strong words for the president.
Biden had some strong words for the president.

(CNN) - The chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Joe Biden, D-Delaware, called President Bush’s comments accusing Sen. Barack Obama and other Democrats of wanting to appease terrorists "bulls**t” and said if the president disagrees so strongly with the idea of talking to Iran then he needs to fire his secretaries of State and Defense, both of whom Biden said have pushed to sit down with the Iranians.

“This is bullshit. This is malarkey. This is outrageous. Outrageous for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, sit in the Knesset…and make this kind of ridiculous statement,” Biden said angrily in a brief interview just off the Senate floor.

“He’s the guy who’s weakened us. He’s the guy that’s increased the number of terrorists in the world. His policies have produced this vulnerability the United States has. His intelligence community pointed that out not me. The NIE has pointed that out and what are you talking about, is he going to fire Condi Rice? Condi Rice has talked about the need to sit down. So his first two appeasers are Rice and Gates. I hope he comes home and does something.”

He quoted Gates saying Wednesday that we “need to figure out a way to develop some leverage and then sit down and talk with them.”

Which of the Obama demographics is responsible for the illiterate, illogical, vulgar, hateful, filthy blogs?
The learned, the black or the youth.

Obama lost my vote when I realized he ONY inspired the trash heap of the democratic party.

Way to Go Joe Biden. It is about time somebody stood up against Bush, George W Bush will go down in the history books as the worst president the US has ever had. He not only ruined the economy in the US but the rest of the world as well. The sooner this unintelligent fool gets out of the White House the better.

    Biden... Obama is trash.

I've voted democratic for 35 years- only 2 presidents have gotten in- both are now being bashed, screwed and disrespected by the DEMs the DNC and Obama.

I will no longer vote for this party's nominee out of loyalty.

George Bush, and his remaining supporters, seem to be under the delusion that you can kill an idea with a bullet.

This is why the 'war on terror' is such a bad war... who is the target? Anyone who doesn't think exactly like we think? What is the solution? Kill them?

Never take diplomacy off the table... both sides always have something to learn. Any one who sat in a high school debate knows this.

With Mr. Bush's approval rating the lowest any president could have, and his credibility almost non-existent in the US and in many countries around the world, he can only talk in Isreal if he wants to get any kind of sympathy... So pathetic...

Thanks for telling it like it is, Joe.

Now...all you Hillary Folks out there swearing you'll vote for McCain?

Are you listening...REALLY LISTENING...to the person you'd hand this country to?

McCain would have us keep walking in George Bush's footsteps...and those are steps that have very nearly doomed this country already.

I have to say, even if Hillary finds a way to steal the nomination...there is nothing in me as an American that will permit me to vote for John McCain and his short-sighted, antiquated and dangerous version of a third term for George Bush.

How interesting that the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee would use such vile obscenity to criticize the speech of a sitting president – and to top it off, this comes from a senator who is a known plagiarist. Disgusting!

You do realize that your editors forgot to bleep out the obsenity in the second paragraph. Considering that you insisted on censoring it in the first paragraph, I imagine this was an oversight that should probably be corrected.

Those who support Bush-McCain's position on war, do you think you can afford to fight another war either in Iran or even in Sudan? Do you think America is that strong? In spite of their "tough" talk, do you think they really have the guts and finances to wage another war? Do you think they are really getting your support? Is your support genuine? Can you afford to write a check to Bush and McCain for their wars while at the same time pay for your gasalines at the gas pump???

    Biden's an idiot!

Bush didn't say who he was referring to, but Obama and the Dems are fuming. By reacting, they're admitting that they're the appeasers of terrorists. Go figure....
