If Obama can't put Clinton away this coming Tuesday there are going to be serious doubts about his viability. With Edwards, a slew of super delegates and some new union support Obama should be able to take the momentum from Clinton. Not to mention the media calling him the nominee for two weeks now. If he beats her in Kentucky she's done, but if she holds onto the based and still wins Kentucky by big numbers I think the DNC and some super delegates are going to start to wonder if they're backing the right candidate. We'll see, Tuesday is going to be exciting for sure!

Hey people it has been over 200 years that every Black person who had Confidence and or education was considered ARROGANT. Nothing new.
you might as well just knock it off because it make YOU look stupid and fearful. I bet you hated it when they let Tiger Woods play the Masters and he won by an all time record margins. Grow up the world is changeing keep up or get out of the way!!

Watch - now Clinton and her cronies will say John Edwards endorsement does not matter, just like the other endorsements from major political operatives, just like superdelegates don't count, just like delegates don't count, just like caucauses don't count, just like popular vote doesn't count, just like the media has been unfair, just like somehow Obama played the race card yet the racist comments from the mouths of her and her surrogates.

Edwards is a smart selfless man who is looking out for the Democratic Party. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Hillary. Anyone that knows anything about politics knows that Hillary played the race card to appeal to the people of West Virginia and it worked. Each time there's a primary; Camp Clinton tries to add some drama to the game to get votes, like "bittergate." I must get her credit, she's has the determination of a mutating virus. But there’s even a cure for her mutating viral campaign. That cure is Obama!

YES WE CAN!

Everything is about the democratic party. In the end all democrats, willing independents and republicans need to get along to bring this country back to what it was. Let's face it, Obama will be our nominee and let's not cut our noses off to spite our face. Those who claim they want to go vote republican seriously need to think about the last 8 years.

Who cares about Edwards? He's washed up, just like Obama will be after he loses in November. Congratulations Democrats, you've done the impossible again---you've ruined your chance at the White House even though most of America seems to depise the Republicans.

Nice to see the two time loser join the future loser, Obama. Edwards adds his name to the list of other Obama supporters who are also losers like Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, and Bill Richardson. The only democrat who has actually won the White House over the last 25 years, Bill Clinton, supports who? His wife and the strongest candidate in the race, Hillary Clinton.

Hillary supporters are funny(:

I bet if John had endorsed Hillary today after her big WV - win - they would be saying how they love John Edwards!

I got to hand it to the "O" Team!

They have proved that they are in this game to win and have made some of the best moves in this primary!

This is a politic game again!! Play game, Dirty game!! They don’t respect voters. They ignore what WV voters said.

Look at the Democrat campaign, they made so much mess inside the party. Do you expect this kind party can be a good leader for the nation? Democrat is not better than Republic NOW. I am tired of them and will not vote the one from Democrat this year.

I'm an IOWAN - we are 95% WHITE! We are FARMERS, TEACHERS, FACTORY WORKERS!

Obama won Iowa. He actually beat Hillary by a landslide. Those of you saying he can't get the "white" vote are delusional.

Edwards jumped in to squelch the spin. The SPIN! Are people seriously this stupid?

The fact is John Edwards is tired of twists and turns that have been going on. One who has the mind of unity always acts in the interests of his/her people not in the interest of himself/herself. This exactly what Edward did. It is time for unity not bickering and fault finding.

Hillary has made history but her persistance for the presidency will be accomplished by another woman. She just paved the way for all women that they can be presidentail candidates. Bravo Hillary for your outstanding competiton but please withdraw now and help unite the party.

Yes the Edwards endorsement is very good for Obama, and it could not have come at a better time. Now to other matters like the North American Union, the NAFTA Superhighway, and the Amero. Ask why Bush signed the bill in 2005 to form this Union by 2010!! Ask yourself why all of the presidential candidates are in the council of foreign relations including OBAMA, HILLARY, DICK CHENEY, BILL CLINTON ETC.. Ask yourself why our world is run by 4300 people in the CFR. Why is the world being run by bankers, such as David Rockefeller. Just research it for yourself and you will be surprised what you may find. Watch the movie zeitgeist at google or youtube video. It will explain alot. Think for yourself stand up.
Search the North American Union on youtube.
Youtube and google search words- North American Union, CFR, council of forerign relations

West Virginians had enough sense to not gamble on an unknown, essentially a Stranger, when out country is plagued with so many problems.

Yes, you are right, we West Virginians do not always think that moving forward is the smart thing....sometimes we get off track and the smart thing is to GO BACK to when things were better. Yes, we prefer the CLINTON ERA to our present era and Dam proud of it!

Another LOSER to the Obama camp.
Hillary, you say you're a fighter, so fight.
These people HATE YOU and you talk about uniting with them, NOT.
Run as a Independent and become the President, your only chance.
We will support you. How can you remain in a party where you and your husband are HATED so much.
All of my friends and myself will never vote for Obama, can you imagine his mean wife as the first lady.

Someone above said that the republicans will be in trouble of losing in nov if they don't stop pandering on the fears of americans for votes, and start talking about issues that really matter such as healthcare, the economy, the war, gas prices, poverty, and The environment. My question is this..WHEN HAS A REPUBLICAN EVER CARED ABOUT THOSE ISSUES? Republicans have and will always care about themselves and how much they can gain in their pocketbook. They are not the party of the people because they know nothing about stuggling to get where they want to go, it's always been handed to them. Daddy signs them a check and they go to the best schools, live in the best houses, have the best things, and they get the votes from the idiots that envy them. I don't see how a republican ever wins. whenever their in office the economy goes to sh_ _, and we're always in a war for oil, so what's the deal. I think this in itself is a conspiracy.

Hillary spoke about Obama and the party graciously during her CNN interview yesterday. Obama did the same of her and the party in his acceptance speech of the Edward's endorsement. "The Supers" should all come out one way or another on May 20, not June 4 so that this thing can still have a somewhat diplomatic ending where neither candidate comes out looking like a hatchete woman or man.

Obviously, the Clinton's have many enemies, as evidenced by the lack of party support that Hillary has received through this nomination process.

If Hillary is wise, when all this over, she should become an Independent or better yet, a Republican. Why should she support a a party that so obviously, does not support her? She should not.

Obama will never win the Whitehouse, Race will be a factor!!! So, will his lack of experience and his support for far left ideals, which are just too far out of touch with mainstream America.

This year's nomination race has truly proven to me what idiots comprise the ranks of the Democratic party. They entered this election year with a sure win in November if Clinton were the candidate. Then, they decide to support an unknown, in-experienced black candidate with ties to various radicals and un-savory characters.

Mainstream Americans will never elect Obama. McCain will win easily in November. Hillary will go on to write a tell all book and take the earnings from her book to pay back the loans she lent to her campaign.

Edwards is disengenuous and weak ...

What a hypocrite ... does he actually expect us to believe his commitment to poverty, when in reality he flaunts his huge multi-kazillion dollar compound (house) directly across the street from poor people ... not to mention his $400 hair cuts, which could feed a family of four for four weeks! Then he waits till Obama is way in the lead, before endorsing him. What weak character ... or, rather lack of character. I doubt his endorsement has any value ... and, anybody who values his endorsement, doesn't have any values.

In other words Edwards thinks that he can make the obvious racism among many Democrats just disappear because he is oh so popular. Too bad it is too late for an Edwards endorsement to change anything. He missed his chance to make a difference and now he is just some other hypocrite that happens to be endorsing Obama.

I have no respect for Edwards now.... There is NO WAY I would even vote for an empty suit who can only read the teleprompter to make a speech and not answer questions directly, "sweety". It is a SHAME that the GOOD OLE BOYS club cannot accept what an AWESOME President Hillary Clinton will be. I am a person who does think a person's character is exemplified by the company he keeps. And when his company includes Wright, Ayers, Farakhan, etc... then I think there is an issue here with judgement and patriotism (so it is ok to wear the flag pin now.....) WAKE UP PEOPLE!

When I saw this endorsement on TV last night I was outraged and thought what a sham! This is a real slime bag move. Edwards, who we haven't heard from for months, was sitting back and waiting for the opportune time to make his move and back whoever is winning. Give me a break.. concerned about the unity of the Democratic party. All this is about with Edwards is how to get into the White House be it the back door, the side door or whatever. He can be VP and than next time be that much closer to running for President with this on his resume. I thought it was interesting how Elizabeth was not a part of this- I hope it is not because she has had a relapse. As for Obama, his new type of politics and hope is just another bag of dirty political tricks. My candidate and she is certainly not without her baggage but you learn alot from that, is Hilary Clinton. She has fought a very very tough campaign and is the most qualified. Have we learned nothing from 8 years of an ingenue? As a Democrat I know it would be wrong to go with more of the same with a McCain but it doesn't look like there is much reason to vote. I absolutely won't vote Obama and his side kick Edwards.

The superdelegates already know that Hillary is a loser in the general election against McBush. Tick Tock Tick Tock , the clock is winding down, the money is drying up, the Clinton campaign debt is growing and the delegates and superdelegates are getting on the Obama band wagon. More and more Clinton superdelegates are deserting her sinking ship. The fat lady is singing the "party's over" to the fat lady in pants suits. Obama/Edwards 08 and 12

It appears Edwards just waited to see who was winning in order to further his own career. Shows a lot about his character. Obama the Young Foolish Dreamer can have him.

Hillary must be very disappointed at Edwards, who represented the blue-collar workers before.

I just don't understand how in the world Hillary represents blue-collar workers. She expected to be treated favorably in every possible way. She represents only her own family, the real elitists.

Hey you Demos out there ... being a RepublicanI can tell you that I will vote for Barrack if he gets the presidential nom, but in no way will I vote for Clinton. Heck, she didn't do such a great job when she ran the Country before, that's right, she called a lot of the shots while Billy was in office. I know a lot of Repubs that are feeling the same way. We aren't so sure of McCain at this point, and will vote Barrack, but no way Clinton. Also, there's no way I'd put her on as my VP if I was Barrack ... that's giving her the presidency b/c the Clinton family is not the most trusting family--just look at the attorney who 'myseteriously' wound up not able to testify against them in White Water. Barrack would be laying his life on a silver platter announcing her as his VP choice!

I see a lot of bad taste here. I have been a "Liberal" all of my life, I have never backed away from the "Liberal" label, will never fade in my beliefs and will certianly not be swayed by the "Reaganites" who have tried for years to make "Liberal" a bad word. That being said, I find Hillary nearly as liberal as Barack, and find the differences between them to be minimal. Why the bad feelings between their supporters? I woul proudly vote for either for President, if only to reverse the trend of the last 8 years. To vote for McCain or not voting at all is to say "I don't mind what has been done to my freedoms and my mortgages and my ability to afford to buy gas to go to work or on vacation, go ahead and make my livelyhood less and less possible." Please remember in November that a continuation of the current policies will only make things worse. Vote Democratic in November and watch the country rebound !!! God Bless America and Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton
