I don't think Senator McCain would be able to accomplish all these things in a short four years. For the most part, the things in the list require longer-term solutions (but in fairness, for example, it does say "advance energy independence" as opposed to "achieve"). If he is elected, I could only hope that things do work out that way, and that there's nothing to worry about concerning the big joke about bombing Iran, not knowing anything about the economy, etc.

Equipment alone will take a year or more and there will be people left back just like there are in Korea, Germany, and Bosnia. Don't forget about Afganistan . We are still there too and the troops are there for 15 months as well. So listen to the fluff about troops in Iraq.....with no mention of Afganistan. This war will be going on for a long time to come no matter who wins in November. Two are at least honest about it while one is lying through his teeth.

"winner take all" primaries do not make it so that all our votes count. Both sides have played politics - because obviously that is how the game is played. But politics doesn't need to be mean but can be an intelligent conversation. So the race is almost over. Five more states to go. And it does look like it will be Obama. So enough of the "I'll vote McCain" if my candidate doesn't win the primary. Do you really really want more of a Bush reign?
