Couple things:

1.Chaimberlin "appeased" Hitler by handing over Czechoslovakia to him, not by talking to him. Seems to be an important difference.

2.McCain said today that talking with heads of state sponsors of terror won't get them to give up their WMD programs or terrorist activities. Note to McCain, thats exactly what happened with Ghadafi in Libya. How can someone who claims such foreign policy experience make a mistake like this?

Sure,Obama has learned to strike back at his attackers! The problem with that,most people analyse it different.The people view Obama as a snarling,barking attack dog,who in the attack may end up in unwarranted fight.The best method is to refute the attack,and keep it off the radar,and down playing the attacker.That is what Hillary Clinton does best.Right now she looks more presidential than the other two.

I am no supporter of Obama but he needs to enlighten his team on the "days to come." The Rep will not let down and Obama has too many weak spots as well as ethnical problems. He may have "learned that lesson," but the fact is, what Bush said is true. Everyone hates the guy, so it doesn't matter how right he is, everyone gets behind the other guy. Only the so-called leaders of the Democratic Party, Obama’s infatuated fans, and the pundits can possibly think that the three stories that broke yesterday–A) the California Supreme Court upholding the rights of same-sex coupes to marry in an election year, B) Bush’s statements at the Israeli Knesset regarding the historical failures of appeasement, and C) Osama’s resurfacing to spew a hateful message against Israel–are helpful in any way to Obama getting elected. He’s being defined as an elitist (with stunning effectiveness), and ballot initiatives designed to get out the Conservative vote are already in the works.
From the beginning, Obama has been a weak candidate who has done little to nothing to deserve the votes of the members of his coalition. Over the months of campaigning, he has failed to take the initiative in setting the terms of a single debate. He completely failed to get ahead of the Rev. Wright story before it blew up in his face. If his campaign thinks it is going to win a general election with the McSame slogan and a few shots at his age, we are all in serious trouble. Obama's TOAST in November.
And maybe it’s better that way. Obama’s an artful speechmaker, but what has he done otherwise to prove that he can lead the country or to show how he would lead us? (Maybe he can give a pep rally a week.)
The Democratic Party’s so-called leaders can still field a real candidate in Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton for President of the United States '08! Personally I don't mind that he attacks with a speech rather than some hot headed, unprepared remark that he will end up regretting later.

The worst part about Bush's comments is that he actually took the time to sit down and come up with that garbage and the old man agreed with him.

I'm a republican and a veteran. There is no way that McCain will ever get my vote. I've had enough of my friends killed and injured in Iraq and spend way too much money on basic necessities. This isn't the kinda of garbage politics that I want to live in anymore.
