OK, Hillary supporters, if you want to continue to give the knee-jerk conservatives a good laugh, then keep on saying you'll vote against everything your candidate stands for. Why are you so militant in your support? Is it because of What she is and not Who she is? That's how most conservatives think, isn't it? She wants the same change as Obama, but you seem to have the same misguided knee-jerk reactions to him as our countryfolk on the right. As a democrat, I'd like to suggest that my fellow party members rise above their disappointment that Hillary won't be president this year, and get down to the business of electing people that can fix our government. I willingly admit that this is the first election in decades that I have paid close attention to. (I am a middle aged, white, catholic female.) Though I have always considered myself a Democrat, I was never involved enough, listening enough, reading enough to make an informed decision. This year I am. I have supported Obama since February and feel stronger about him everyday. I have never liked HRC. HOWEVER, I would vote for her if she was the candidate because I honestly believe that our country needs to NOT continue with a Republican White House. As other blogs/posts suggest, it is not just one person (Obama, Clinton) who make up an administration. Whomever is elected will be the leader of a team. That team needs to be Democrat in order for real change to occur. Bickering within our party, and on these blogs, is counterproductive to what our country needs. People need to take a deep, deep breath and THINK about what is best for our country overall. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face!

I am in complete agreement with millionman. All of those people that say that they are going to vote for McCain if Obama gets the nomination are just upset that Hillary in all likelihood will not get the nomination. Hillary and Obama have the same viewpoint on numerous issues and they greatly differ with McCain. So when you use your vote for McCain because you're not done eating your sour grapes and he becomes president and doesn't represent your views at all and you still upset by the economy and the war, then you will have no one but yourselves to blame. We need a Democrat in the White House whether it be Clinton or Obama. I personally would rather have it be Obama, but I will without a doubt vote for Hillary Clinton in November if that's the way the process plays out. I would hope that most of my Democrat friends would have the sense to do the same.

These terms Elitist, blue collar, working man, how do they really fit into politics. Voting for the guy you want to have a beer with just makes no sense to me. I do not want to have a beer with my president I want him working. I do not want a president who speaks the working mans language. I want a president who understands the working mans plight and uses the elitist language to push those perspectives through congress. I want someone who sounds intelligent when they are addressing the nation and the global community. We get so caught up in non issues that we forget that this is nit a popularity contest it is the hardest job in the world and we need the best possible candidates to fill it. Stop voting for the guy you want as your friend and vote for the guy who can lead.

McCain has had how many years in politics and exactly what change has he provided us. Hillary has had how many years in the Senate and did she not fail to provide what she promised New Yorkers millions of jobs that never materialized? Isn’t it time for something new, something DIFFERENT- someone who has shown by words and deeds that the old politics of yesterday are no longer accepted by America? People please remember we are voting for how our country is run over the next 4 years. Do not allow these non issues to cloud your judgment. Vote for the guy who has you in mind

Dear Mike, I'm not a poser. There may be some posting online, however, if you think there are not millions of us who are and will write in our choice come November, your only fooling yourself. Last I looked this is a free country and we will not be told who we can or cannot vote for. I can't believe the number of people in denial "GO HILLARY!!" at this point in the campaign. Go where? She cannot win without hanging on and buying people off at the convention. Or maybe that's what you'd want... Many folks making a big deal about the timing of the W. Va primary, like it's late momentum or something of an omen. All along, Hillary proudly goes after older, WHITE, poorly educated people. West Virginia was her perfect storm of demographics. It just so happened that this primary was late in the campaign. So it is not momentum, it was a state's turn to vote where her followers constituted the main electorate body. What does it say about her that she is still stubbornly campaigning, spending MORE money go go MORE in debt without any chance to win? Is it love of America, a fighter till the end, deluded, obsessed? Does she feel a sense of entitlement such that all the votes so far cannot count when all is done, and she is owed the nomination? At this point, even as she is "running," she is telling her supporters not to vote for McCain over Obama in November. Would someone who thinks they will win make such a statement? The campaign vitriole has been turned down, she's defending Obama against Bush, deals are made to help pay the debt..... Is there a doubt things are in the works to end this campaign? Let's get it done!!! Like him or hate him, there comes a time when sane, logical people admit defeat and move on, Don't vote for Obama if you think his wife is a racist. (that's kinda funny since you wonder what it is that brings out such hatred in the Hillary or nothing bunch.) But let's admit this thing is over. Add in FLA and MI if you want. Doesn't matter. It cuts into his 180 delegate lead by only 60 and does NOT give her the popular vote lead. It is a done deal, and no conspiracy against Clinton was undertaken. The only reason Hillary may stay in now is to cause some conspiracy to win it, because she cannot do so otherwise. Let's go after McCain!!!!!

For those of you who speak to Obama's "inexperience" Bush had none other than being Governor and he was lousy at that and he is lousy as president, yet he was given the opportunity. HRC's only experience is Senator of NY, which we find out now wasn't all that great for the people of NY. Not to mention, being first lady does not give you EXPERIENCE; give me a break! An open invitation to all HRC supporters: If you do as you have promised, and vote for JMC, you will have accomplished one thing and one thing only. You will have elected JMC President. HRC would not be able to run in 2012 as she would be labled, fairly or unfairly as divisive to the Democratic Party. In the Primary she would win NY and SC and perhaps a few other divisive States but would have fewer people involved in the process because they see more of the same gridlock we have seen for over 8 years. It is time to realize that, if you believe in the Democratic policies, then voting for JMC(Bush) would only divide the country more. Please rethink your stance on supporting whomever wins the Decocratic nomination. Hillary has made it very likely that a woman will someday be elected to the Presidency, give her credit and move on. I see little difference between HRC and Barack, and I support both in their efforts to end a costly war that serves only to crush the American economy, to take on the greedy oil companies and countries, to change the way we take care of our own people through health care and education, and the way they have both been in the forefront of promoting an America the world and Americans can be proud of.
