With the American dream quickly eroding these NRA attendees, who appear at first glance like proud men, do seem bitter and pathetic . I wonder why people vote against their self interest and the interest of the families and friends based on tangential issues like gun control especially considering the fact that Obama’s policies do not threaten gun holders. It appears they have to somehow make believe Obama’s supports a position and has a personality that is in reality far from the truth to allow themselves some amusement- it is sad really.

I think Rove should show that he is now an unbiased journalist working for an unbiased cable news program. He should be playing McCain's video taped interview with CNN two years ago where McCain says that we should be talking to Hamas because they're the country's leaders now---You know, the same Hamas that McCain is falsely attacking Obama over and CNN is giving extra coverage to McCain so that he can do it? Obama said that we should talk to our friends and to those who don't like us, but he specifically excluded Hamas as a terrorist organization and John McCain knows it very well. He also knows that he gave the above mentioned CNN interview two years ago, but his campaign denied it today. CNN has the video, but they aren't playing it. Why?? They endlessly played Hillary's Bosnia and Obama's bitter. Let's see some saturation reruns of McCain's lie. Prove that you're fair CNN.

Ironically, it is Karl Rove's extremism that has produced this incredible backlash against the Republican Party. Sure, he and his buddies have made out like bandits in the last 7 1/2 years, but they did so at the expense of Republicans everywhere (ask Louisiana voters).
