If you’ve been indoctrinated into the Obama “Change” cult, you had better beware. What exactly is Obama changing and what is he changing “it” into. There has yet to be no depth to any of is “cheerleading” messages. He stands up and tells the poor that he is going to take care of them….why wouldn’t he win their votes. That’s all they have to offer him.

Instead of driving these so called poor people into the work force, Obama is promising them tax cuts (what taxes are they paying…other than consumer tax)? Free health care (who’s going to pay for that…the government?....that’s what we are)? Stop tax breaks on companies that ship their labor out of the U.S. (are you kidding me??? that’s only going to hurt the U.S.) How do you Toyoto, Honda, Mercedes, etc.. are going to like that? What would the U.S. do if they pulled their companies out of the U.S.??? That would kill our economy.

Wake up Obama fans!!! Please look closely at his policies and not the color of his skin.

I WAS WONDERING WHY NO ONE IS MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF WHAT OBAMA SAID YESTERDAY IN OREGON. FOR SOMEONE THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT WHY DO WE NEED TO ASK OTHER COUNTRIES WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSE TO DO. ALSO ANOTHER THING HE SAID TODAY , IF THE GOP GOES AFTER HIS WIFE THAT THEY WOULD REGRET IT. THEN SOMEONE SHOULD TELL HIM THAT MAYBE HIS WIFE SHOULD NOT BE ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL. I BELIEVE THAT IF SHE IS OUT THERE PROMOTING HER HUSBAND, SHE LIKE EVERY OTHER MATE THAT CAMPAIGNS IS UP FOR SCRUTINY . HE HAS TO REALIZE THAT HIS WIFE HAS SAID SOME THINGS PEOPLE ARE NOT THINKING SO KINDLY ABOUT, AND IF SHE DID NOT MEAN HOW IT CAME OUT -EXPLAIN IT. I PERSONALLY AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND HAVE BEEN SINCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND WHAT A GREAT PLACE IT IS. I JUST WOULD LIKE COVERAGE TO BE FAIR. IT LOOKS LIKE THE SAME OLD THING .BARACK WILL MOST LIKELY BE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY LEADER BUT THIS TIME AROUND EVEN IF I AM A DEMOCRAT PLEASE SO IT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE THE NEWS MEDIA IS PICKING THE WINNER PLEASE GIVE MCCAIN HIS VOICE TOO. MANY PEOPLE INCLUDING MYSELF ARE SICK OF MSNBC AND CNN PUTTING BARACK ON A PEDESTAL AND EVEN THOUGH THE RACE IS NOT OVER YOU AND MSNBC HAVE ALL BUT SAID HE IS THE WINNER. PLEASE TRY BEING FAIR.

Obama is guilty of lust in his heart when he calls women "sweetie". That term is evidence that he has looked the women over and decided she was 'sweet'.... Therefore, according to the sermon, Obama is guilty of adultery against his big-mouthed/angry wife and against God.

"Every one who looks at a woman or man lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart".......well, honey, with the divorce rate at 60% in our country, no man or woman is excused. It's the ones that for the sake of the children they have created, continue to work on relationships, that deserve the Purple Heart. It is they who don't run when the going gets tough. Those who believe that it has not happened in their marriages, live with their heads in the sand.

I wonder if the minister had an advance warning of Senator Clinton visit? Was the title of his sermon on INFIDELITY already on his calendar for the Sunday in which she visited his church. If yes the sermon was OK. If the minister selected his sermon topic because of the senators visit, then shame on the minister.

Cnn appears to report on everything, and so let them be. However, we the voters, take it or leave it.
Clinton Hillary, at one point appeared to be honest and truly had some quality leadership, however, her personal hunger for power has totally taken her in a horrible path.
We all know it.
It is her choice to stay with a man who cheats, for whatever purpose. It is her choice to manage a campaign in debt, it is her choice to lie, it is her choice to use kitchen sink tactics, smear Senator Obama, it is her choice to use fear in her campaign when talking to elderly and to the conservative democrats, it is her choice to stand against all she once claime she stood for.............
It is our c hoice however, to vote for a leader and for someone who if will lead, does not lie, (we already had Bush) who does not support war but diplomacy, and it is our choice, to show our children that leaders, while they are human they also have boundaries and draw the line when it comes to basic principles in life.

I chose not to elect clinton even so I would have like a woman for president, she is not the woman.
I chose to elect someone who does not send the message clinton does, she sends the message that women ought to put up with their husband's extra marital affairs, that young women s hould be ok with people who cheat, and that men should cheat and the women take them back. but over all she sends a clear message that women are objects and that if it benefits you stay as you will get something out of it..

i dont want my daugther to have that as an example for a leader......
well, and the ongoing lies, and taking credit for other people's work.. and specially being racist..

I am sure, Pelossi or other amazing women will run in the next few years, and I for one wll support them.............they have worked hard for what they got, they did not run on their husband's experience.. (ohh yes cheating husband's experience).

Why are people so dumb? I know that Obama (whom I also like) has probably a 90% chance of getting the nomination. But why are people so quick to jump to conclusion? There are still over 200 super delegates yet to make up their mind, and the fact that they haven't jumped on Obama's ban-wagon yet says that there is still a posibility that they can go to Hillary. Also, the Florida and Michigan votes haven't been decided yet. On May 31st a decision will be made, so if it goes in Hillary's favor, that will probably cause these undecided super deletates to come to her. Hillary knows that it's not looking good for her, but all she wants is a fair chance and for all the votes to be counted. And by the way, if Hillary doesn't get the nomination, I will be voting for Obama in the general election, but I really think he will have a tougher time against McCain than Hillary would. This country is still full of a lot of racists who won't give him a chance.

This is called "victimize the victim once more!"

All infidelities when uncovered are painful, however, unlike the inpact of most infidelities dealt within involved parties and with relatively limited public humilliation, what she and her daughther have been receiving all this time must have been VERY painful: a worldwide humilliation. Yet she keeps managing the issue with fortitude.

It is shameful that CNN, having no better things to report, resorts to this news, but it is much more shameful that most (fortunatelly not all) Obama's followers use this opportunity to once more vilify her, the victim: the unmerciful and irrational casting of stones by Obama supportes is frankly depressing --and they say they are for "change" and 'hope' hum.

I wonder if "emphaty" is in the moral dictionary of those (included CNN et al.,) who bring and milk this issue over and over again.

Be careful about what you say
remenber not so long ago
there appeared an image
that caused quite a stir
for it might turn out to be
not what it was thought
for that which was disavowed might be
the only thing to embrace to save one so fair
for it is in the tradition that nobles must
perform such rites.

‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

You have got to be kidding.

Wake up and smell the 21st century. Sex is the most fundamental human urge and shaped by a million years of evolution. The faster these pre-stone age thinkers and religious morons figure that out, the less time they'll waste spewing this useless drivel.

To Sharon of Minnesota:

You'll notice that in this verse, Jesus is saying that if one so much as looks at another person to lust after them, then they are an adulterer. So while Hillary may not have literally committed the act of adultery, she (if she is a human like the rest of us) is guilty of breaking the commandment by virtue of having simply looked at someone to lust after them. By pointing this out (among the other things Jesus pointed out), Jesus is indicating that none of us are guiltless and that we're all in need of forgiveness which is provided solely through Jesus Christ upon one's repentance of sins and faith in Him.

CNN,

Thank you for restoring some of my respect for the media.

To all Hillary supporters, I am sure that you will never admit this to yourselves, let alone to someone else. It is my firm belief that Barack is doing his best to help Hillary save face, and to help her to shine in some limelight, If you remember the Indiana primary, Barack only spent one half day in Indiana,, even though all of the polls kept reporting that Hillary was a huge favourite. I think she won Indiana, by just a few points. Can you imagine how different those results could have been if Barack had really campaigned there?

Now this is only my opinion, but I think that Barack is doing the very same thing in the State of Kentucky, here again Hillary should shine in the limelight, even if it is just for a short time. Barack is not campaigning there, (I think he visited for just a short while) so she has the State to herself.

I am a little bit puzzled though, Hillary, in addressing one of her campaign rallies, said that Barack (said) that he will not be coming back to Kentucky, and she was ever so pleased, to have this State to herself, how did she know that Barack was not going to be back in Kentucky? it is almost like they discussed it. Any thoughts on this?

It seems like any topic these days prompts the standard responses from some people.

Count Michigan and Florida, Obama caused this......
If she don't win, write her in.......
He is not ready to be president......
She should quit.......

Looks like if you can scroll to the bottom and see a "Leave Your comment" blank, it's time to post one of the above.

But, I do the same, so I have to ask and I really hope on some thread some sane person provides a response -

Why on earth would you write in Hillary in the General Election? I mean, really, honestly, what do you hope to gain by this?

I guess if those responses are really Republicans In Dem clothing, it is a ploy to divide and conquer. BUT if you are just a bitter (and yes, the term fits) Democrat, do you realize that the BEST that can happen is that McCain will win and Hillary might edge out Obama for a distant second? McCain could easily win with less than half the votes and a bare minimum electoral votes. Would you then walk around smugly as the war goes on for five years and the economy does not change, knowing that at LEAST your candidate beat Obama? Are you really that bitter?

Or is it more sinister? Are you hoping that a write-in campaign divides the votes enough such that no one gets the minimum electoral votes and there must be a 1-2 runoff wherein your candidate FINALLY gets her just due and wins the second general election? I don't know what the law is on this scenario, but I suspect it could be a run-off.

To all you Obama supporters who complain that CNN and other news outlets favor Hillary, you should be comforted that the majority of articles are also non-complimentary to say the least. This church-service that includes a pastor talking about adultery is just such an example. While it's impossible to tell if this preacher has canned sermons that he trots out when he thinks an occasion warrants his doing so, I doubt that she alone was his intended audience. The point I want to make is that all of you who seem to delight in trashing Hillary Clinton, have plenty of company in TV anchors, pundits and newspapers have succeeded in black-balling this moral and smart woman. (Example of this is NBC and MSNBC (Brian Williams, Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann), who have disgustingly and openly shown their animosity toward Hillary Clinton. It's also plain to see that these people have lost viewing audiences as a result of this negative coverage. I hope all of you don't live to regret what you've done to her, just as all the people who went "ape" over George W. Bush are regretting seven years afterward.

Why blame Hillary for her husband's infidelity? She is now victimized TWICE! This is the problem of our society, the victim is ALWAYS blamed for crime committed against her. How many rape victims were blamed by our society, saying, "she ask for it." Shame on you people for blaming Hillary for her husband's indiscretion. This is a SEXIST SOCIETY where women are ALWAYS blame for a man's infraction.

Common sense prevails, you don't increase your risk, but decrease it, Obama is HIGH RISK the Democratic Party cannot afford, Obama will lose against McCain. Endorsements of Edwards and Richardson has NO impact in general election for Obama. He is popular in Republican state in primary but in general election voters in Republican states like South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Alaska & other GOP state will ALWAYS go REPUBLICAN. In SWING STATE democrats MUST win in General Election, Hillary won in those states. Although everything is in favor for the Democratic Party right now, they will STILL LOSE the Whitehouse if Obama is the nominee for their party, their would be PRIZE to pay; democrats will lose the majority in congress and senate, moderate democrats do NOT forget.

Analysts have look at this two candidates for nomination; against Clinton, McCain and the Republicans will have a difficult, almost overwhelming fight on their hands. Against Obama, however, McCain already has an Electoral College advantage and it will be the Democratic Party scrambling to find a way to catch up.

That has got to be one of the most self-righteous incidences I have ever heard of! Talking about Bully Pulpit! I would be more impressed if he had addressed the poverty and ignorance in his state. I would feel the same way if he had attacked Obama. Our Lord preached against standing in judgement and what happens when one chooses to do that. I hope we hear more about this preacher. It will be interesting to watch.

Maybe Hillary bought a copy of the adultery sermon for her husband AND for Monica.

I guess it is time to have a woman BEHIND the desk in the Oval Office. The whole Bill was there he had his tramps UNDER the desk :) Never known, Hillary may have few UNDER the desk as well.

Alexandria,
What a shame you are so one sided and wrote this article. For once, you people as writers should give a little respect to other people. She is already down and you are still kicking her and punching her. Give her some positive news will you? Did you need to do this so that you can get ahead in CNN?

To all women who said hateful things about her, Did your husband cheat on you?

If so... You deserve it!

Why in the world is CNN reporting this? What has it got to do with Hillary? Was she the one that was unfaithful to her husband? And why is this even considered newsworthy? CNN - pls get a life!

People are such hyprocites. Have any of you "Christians" ever heard of forgiveness.? Who are you to judge other people? There is no sin that is greater than another and based upon the comments , you bloggers are far from perfect. There has only been one perfect person to walk this earth and his name was Jesus. Would you feel better if Hillary and Bill did not love each other and had decided to walk away from their marriage. Get over it. I for one think it takes less courage to walk away from a marriage than to stay and work through your problems and come out closer and stronger because of it.

This is dumb CNN, I am not a hillary supporter either but if she decided to stay with a cheater and parade him around the country as if he were a great guy than thats her business. Frankly, I am more concerned about the hillary supporters who say they will vote for MCCain I do not understand your rationale. Hillary and Barack are much much more alike, a vote for McCain is a vote for Bush, are you really that upset that you will allow Iraq to go on 4 more years, economy worsing, more tax breaks for the richest , no national health care, Listen, Dems, I am an Obama supporter BUT, if Hillary would have won or if she somehow does win I would vote for her in a New York minute before McCain.

Looks like another staged event put on by the HRC con machine. All for the purpose of drumming up some shred of support for poor little cheated on Hillary. And some out there say what a wonderful person she is to work through her issues with Bill to stay married. BS, that gold digger knows how to keep her meal ticket intact and set herself up for a political career. If she were one of the average, hard working whites she affilates herself with, she would have dumped Bill years ago.

Maybe next time a sermon on truthfulness would be more useful although everyone be ready to duck the sniper fire.

I am not a Hillary supporter, but why is everyone bashing her? The sermon was NOT aimed at Senator Clinton, and newsflash: Senator Clinton DIDN'T commit adultery. I refuse to believe that all these people posting negative things on this post are Obama supporters. I think most are die-hard republicans still trying to play their chaos statregy. Enough already.

Hillarious, I am sure, will not return to that same church again in her life. You will recall she told us she would have walked out of United Methodist Church upon hearing the comments of Rev Wright. She couldn't have been more wrong!

She is obviously not a member of any church. She simply visits churches, and in the process decides which never to visit again. I have been a member of a church all my life, and have heard a lot of things in the process, and some of them from the Pastor which I do not necessarily agree with. But I never decided to leave a church solely for that reason.

Little wonder she was not recognized. No Pastor will bring somebody who has the perchant for leaving a church simply based on what they hear in one service into their fold.

Hillarious should get of sight. Her campaign is over. Let her go home and try to make Bill happy... otherwise... So we can concentrate on McCain. McCain goes about making fun of his age thinking that will help him in November. Pls let somebody tell McCain that will not help him. He is just too old for this job and for us at this critical time in our nation's history.

Go Obama!!!

What a bunch of baloney this all is! CNN - stick to the basics. With all the problems facing our country, cut out all the nonsense about adultery, The Reverend Wright, etc., etc.

Simply poll your readers and ask which candidate, Hillary or Obama, or McCain is best suited to run the country? If the voters expect a man or woman w/o sin, let the man who walked on water grace our presence again!

From this story, I'm more interested in who was "on the altar" in the church! I hadn't heard the Methodists had reverted back to the Old Covenant sacrificial system :) Hillary attending that kind of a service indeed would be a story!

I would have commended and voted for Sen. Clinton had she stood up and left Bill a LONG time ago. Here is a woman who is preaching to other women in this country about how she's a "fighter", the "come back kid" and the "game changer"..

She preaches in her speeches about how women are just as strong a the men, etc.

AND YET here's a woman who has been cheated on repeatedly and was played the FOOL in the public media for years!! NOT just her but her own daughter got pulled into his cheating ways and lies!!

To me, that is NOT a character of a STRONG woman. It's a character of a woman who has become "dependent' on her HUSBAND'S political connection for her own ambition. So in reality, Sen. Clinton was more focused on keeping her "priviledged lifestyle" over standing up on her own and making a stand.

Look at Gov. Sprtizer's wife. She's a well-educated lawyer and YET stuck by her cheating husband who SPENT A LOT of money on a call girl!!

What does it say about these well-educated women? It states clearly that these women lack "common sense". They talk a good game but in the end, they do exactly NOTHING, but stay with their cheating husbands because they LOVE the perks that come with it. Bottom line.

Money, power and greed talks... people's "actions" speak volumes . So when Sen. Clinton states she's a fighter, etc. I don't buy any of her hogwash when she can't even clean up her own life and manage her own campaign funds!!!!

Actions speaks louder than words. Women are so ignorant to the fact that they are supporting a woman who can't even manage her own personal life and her campaign funds!! HOW stupid is that??

If this was a MAN would they be so gullible? Pleeeeeeeeez, women have given Sen. Clinton a "free ride" for all the wrong reasons. They are endorsing all the wrong qualities they claim to want in a "strong woman". What message are they sending to their daughters? It's okay to STAY with a cheating husband, it's OKAY to lie about everything and anything to GET YOUR WAY? It's okay to BREAK the rules to suit your own selfish needs? Wow....amazing.

This is news????? BILL commited the adultery, NOT Hillary. While I'm not a Hillary supporter, right is right. As for the Pastor, his sermon was probably written a week ago based on the scripture for that day and church season. I'm sure it was uncomfortable for both Hillary and the congregation, knowing she was there. Let's face it, we all know Bill is a letch and Monica, tho an intern, was not a child. She was or should have been exactly aware of what she was doing. Let's not act as if Hillary knew and therefore is somewhat responsible.

Obama had 75,000 people in Oregon yesterday. We did not get to add comments because CNN closed the post. How bias, but left this post open to try and garner "victim hood" for Clinton.
