Hillary reminds me of GRAMER School the little girls just had to sit up front by the teacher. Thinking more each day how Hillary hurting the democratic party. Starting to have less respect for these so called SUPER DELEGATES who could add up the numbers and end this sooner. Hillary should pay her own campaign bills for her lack of not knowing when the game is over. And any thought of V. P. slot would be a joke having her. Hillaries idea of change would be like buying new tires for a car on its way to junk yard.

I was once a strong advocate for Senator Clinton staying in the race until June 3rd, because she played just as big a part in registering new Democrats around the country. However, with increasing attacks from John McCain, it is incredibly stingy of Mrs. Clinton to force Obama to run two campaigns. It is pretty much evident that he will be the Democratic nominee. Why not go ahead and give him the time, money, and support that he will need to fend off Republican attacks. Forcing Barack to run two campaigns, which he has been handling extremely well so far, could prove highly detrimental to Democratic chances in November. Let him focus his attention where it now counts!

Of the 32+ million Democratic primary voters, what % are black and what % are women (or non-black women)? I'll guess there are 5 - 6 million black voters and at least 14 million non-black women voters.

How many voted for Obama primarily because he is black?
How many voted for Hillary primarily because she is a woman?
How many voted against Obama primarily because he is black?
How many voted against Hillary primarily because she is a woman?

I'll hazard a guess that the net result benefited Hillary. Certainly sexism worked against her. However, her main problem was not that she was a woman, but rather that she mismanaged her campaign horribly, that she and her entire campaign frequently displayed a lack of integrity and disregard for the truth, and that she simply ran into a more visionary, charismatic leader.

I'm sure that she did face sexist obstacles during her campaign. But to say that racism wasn't an obstacle for the Obama campaignis incorrect.

Also, how many pantsuit jokes did Clinton crack about herself? And how many times did she show up at rallies with her Mom and Chelsea, and promote the whole "3 generations of women" thing? She always encouraged women to break for her, and that's allright, but sexism goes both ways- to be angry that she was covered a certain way by the media that she encouraged, is hypocritical.

Obama on the other hand tried to make his campaign as little about race as possible. It wasn't until the Reverend Wright issue that he even dealt with it.

I am a woman and the reason I dislike Hillary is NOT because she is a woman - the reason I will NOT vote for her is solely because of her character!

I do not think the press has been sexist, but Hillary is trying to play the sexism card because it is the last one that she has in her deck!

What a ridicules statement by her, again.

I was watching CNN today, they were talking to voters in Kentucky. They asked him what we would say to Obama, since he was a Hillary supporter. He goes and says that Obama should stop being black. And that he would vote for a white person, being McCain if Obama wins the primary.

Hillary wins these states and rural counties in all the states, because they are conservative leaning, racists, and don't want to see a black man, regardless of his credentials in office.

Didn't Bill Clinton, not too long ago, say that his wife never whine? I thought she is in the race because Karl Rove says so.

Karl Rove does not have a college degree because of math. Now, he is doing some kind of math for Senator Clinton. Sounds like the lowest of all roads to me.

Wah, wah, wah. What else can Hillary find to cry about? Wasn't it her husband who recently said, if you can't stand the fight, get out of the race?
First, she says she supports the DNC rules, then cries because FL and MI were stripped of their delegates. Then she says whoever has the most delegates should win and changes her mind when she sees that will not happen for her. After that, she says whoever gets the most states should win, then changes her mind when she sees that won't happen either. Now she says it should be whoever gets the most popular vote - but only if you count FL and MI and DON'T count caucus states. So it's OK to disenfranchise all the voters who came out on caucus nights to cast their votes, but not the voters who voted in an illegal election? On top of everything,
She has totally lost my respect. If she somehow manages to wrangle the nomination away from Obama, I swear I'll vote for Nader or some other 3rd Party candidate.

I agree that media and the many in the general population have treated Hillary as someone to be ridiculed, scorned, laughed at, and in general, despised - and yes, because she's a woman. The undercurrent of sexism in American culture and way of life is simply amazing.
Mr. Obama's candidacy has been successful because a) he is charismatic and inspirational (albeit short on details of what he will actually as president past the "change" mantra) and b) he's a black MAN. Imagine a black woman named Baracka Obama, politically unknown senator from IL, a mother with two little girls at home, running as he is for POTUS. That campaign would have gone to dust faster than one could say "change."

I would have never imagined this, but if Hillary is not on the Presidential ticket in November, the ultra liberal me will vote for McCain. I cannot stand McCain, but at least he's not spewing propaganda wrapped up in charming promises of change like Obama does.

When Obama can call a reporter "sweetie" and people on the blogs defend it as no big deal, you know people are out of touch with sexism, seeingthis as acceptable is a problem. Would it be seen as acceptable if Clinton had called a black man an affectionate name, just a minute "brother", I'll answer your question in a minute.....

How pathetic! Can you imagine what the press would have done to any man who would have said or done the things she has in this campaign? If anything, the press (especially CNN) has been bending over backwards to avoid criticizing her. Are these comments supposed to guilt people into voting for her? Hillary, get some therapy. The sooner the better.

is this the way you raise the white flag, Mrs. Clinton?... shame on you, you are a loser, the press has nothing to do with it..... what happens is you irradiate hate campaign, so this is what you get when you do that. Go for change, go for hope, go for Obama, even Mc Cain has better speech than you. You said you can't win election by making nice speech, well, guess what?... you have got so many enemies because of your language, I used to like you, but what you doing is too much to ingest. Go away you and your cheater hubby.

when Obama loses by 40 points does he cry.....no just keeps fighting
NO one says a word when Hillary always says....women let's make history.

Hillary...stop being a sore looser! I can not believe that you do not think that racism has not played a part in this primary. Are you blind? Its comments like these, that do not make me feel bad for changing my vote to Obama BEFORE the Virgina primary.

Gee Hillary. I guess its everyone else's fault that you ran a poor, negative campaign with sczhizophrenic messaging that changed depending on who you were pandering to. Give me a break. This campaign has been all about RACE. This is just a poor excuse for why you are not winning. She is now playing the SEX card to rile up female voters. This coming from the woman who's campaign has repeatedly played the race card!! I can't WAIT until this is over!

yes, she is so right. nobody has raised the issue on how the media has been so sexist towards Hillary. so many men in this country vote for Obama, just because they do not want to see a woman president. that is such a shame.

Obama isn't beating her by being sexist. Obama is beating her by being a better candidate. You can't trump up all the people who didn't vote for her because she's a woman while patting yourself on the back for winning the rural uneducated white vote who didn't want to vote Obama because he's black.

Before claiming sexism is working against her, ask yourself what male candidate would get the sympathy vote for crying? Do people really think McCain is better than Obama? You would rather support a party that has continually worked to suppress women?

There's no negative press. The truth is that the numbers for Clinton are not adding up for her to win the nomination. It's negative for her supporters and her campaign and it sucks and hurts but it's the truth. A lot of people have an issue with hearing the truth but the truth shall set you free. Exceptance is needed now from her and her campaign and not denial and negative comments towards the press and Obama supporters. The press is doing their job.

Now come on Hillary,

You mean to say that we are sexist but not racist? You mean to say that the fact that Obama is black has had nothing to do with why older (more traditional) and white (rural) voters have voted for you and not him? Racism plays as much a role as sexism does, unless all of the candidates are of the identical sex, race, religious, (etc.) backgrounds then bias will always come into play. After all, why do so many women vote for you, is that not a bit sexist?

Hiliary can't acknowledge that racisim is not in the campaign. Where has she been when she was jumping all over the Reverend Wright mess. She was having a grand ole time. Like Obama said she was in her element all happy and smiling. Even when she won Pennsylvania she was on a webcam mocking Obama to debate her. Hiliary you need the 3:00am phone call to tell you this campaign is about both but the racism side of it has played a much larger role.

As a woman, I find this comment from her both offensive and untrue.
The only gender based conversation has been interjected by her.
She has "played" the gender sexist card thru the whole campaign.
And I listened to Ferraro this morning too...and she is dead wrong.
Both examples that she cited were things that would have been said if the opponent was a man. And the "flicking" of the shoulder was for the press.

Wow, I support Hillary Clinton, have never voted Republican in my life. Don't plan to vote Republican this time either. But I have to say by reading this blog that Obama supporters are just as nasty and bitter as any Republican I have ever read about or met. Stop with the insults and BS about Hillary. I am glad as a woman that she is bringing up this issue. She has to, because the media is ignoring it.

Hillary and her gurls. Hey ladies, can you tell me her best friend? The clintons are always the victims when things are going south. I think her problem is not her gender but because she symbolises polarization in American politics. Woman have to remeber that Bill Clinton was solely responsible for the Bush presidency, why should we award his wife?

Hillary Clinton is losing this race because she could not control the people in her campaign. Bill Clinton tried to play the race card in South Carolina with the Jesse Jackson comment AND IT BACKFIRED.
What happened to all this sexism when she was 30 points up in the polls?SHE LOST HER CREDIBILITY IN BOSNIA, how can she say Racism is not being played Wow, what a joke, so NOW it's sexism. She cant NOT stop with all the lie's now the press is wrong. But keep the black joke's going. She is old news that is why Obama is the front runner.

Hillary, Hillary, Hillary.......of course racism has played a HUGE part in this process. Without the 90+ % African American vote, Obama would have been gone along time ago.

Sexism is stupid and dangerous.
Please help Senator Clinton find some
specific examples of what she is talking
about, so something can be on the record.
Next we can boycott the media outlets that
actively engage in prejudice.

If there are no specific examples,
the lets all just leave it be.

I hope they find Ferraro's bottle of Lithium soon. I don't know how crazier or desperate she can become.
This is a sad state. I guess Hillary and her supporters need to blame others for a debacle of a campaign.

You wanna talk about divisiveness? Where was she complaining about sexism when she was winning? I want PROOF of instances when Obama OR the media OR the voters (???) were displaying sexism.

And if you want to jump on that quote by Obama 2 days ago about the "sweetie" fine - it's easy to attach something so small as that comment when he has done NOTHING for the past YEAR AND A HALF of campaigning to suggest differently.

Why don't people understand - people dislike Hillary Clinton because she is HILLARY CLINTON.

It's disgusting how she's now trying to divide the country for her own political gain. I am outraged that she would stoop so low.

I will be so glad with June 2, 2008 comes so this woman and Ferrero
can shut their mouths. Bitter old women! nothing could be worse than having this as president. One thing for sure you would not know what to expect in the White House with Hilliary. One lie after another oh but I forgot the new word for lie is miss-spoke . It is time for the Clintons to go back to Arkansas or New York or some island where there is is just her Bill and Ferrero.

Hillary Clinton said sexist attacks on her campaign have been "deeply offensive," and sharply criticized the press for not raising the issue. what? let me be the first of obama’s voters to say i’m sorry you are not winning.

Hillary enough is enough, the media played the get all candidates cards, you, obama and mccain. no one got the special treatment. please for the sake of the democrated party take a look at all sources of politic news for the last five months, you will see for yourself.

for the last two months your supporter swears out that you would not wine as they claimed obama does, oh well…..

Why are you doing this to us, WHY? how do you think we the democrated party is going unite for the good when you continue to make these type of statement because you are losing. there was a time I thought about voting for you, but you have all but made me see that i would have regretted it.

I’m sorry you are not winning.

again, let me say for the sake of the obama’s now voters, we are sorry you are not winning, I mean this sincerely from my democrated heart.
