What a shame for the democrats, but we will reap what we sow. If we as a party are willing to nominate an empty shirt as our candidate, we deserve to be led by a republican for 4 more years. Barack Obama did NOT make the rules for FL and MI.

Harold Ickes of the Clinton camp DID vote to punish them.

The fault lies within the Government of the two states. If you are upset about the outcome, get out of your chair and vote in a new Gov who will not choose to break the rules.

It IS that simple. I certainly hope the voters are counted also, but I would do everything in my power to make sure those in the gov. that are responsible for this are punished as they have chose to punish you voters.

For those of you who will refuse to vote for Obama just because you prefer Hillary are not truly grasping the seriousness of your decision to not unite our party. The one thing that doomed hillary's campaign is her inability to connec with voters. Her husband is the King of that. He can take the most complex subject and break it down like Fischer-Proce. Hillary is not Bill. I think a lot of voters are in love with seeing Bill back in the white House, but the Clinton are a big red X on the conservatives war map. The United States needs to heal, and we don't need a candidate that will continue to spew hate. She is smart, but her drive to become president is bigger than anything or anybody else. I am more scared of Hillary Clinton as president than John McCain.

Apparently there are new comments from Hillary's campaign about her being treated unfairly because she's a woman. She's being treated no worse than Obama. These whisper email campaigns against him about his religion and the flag-pins are code-word campaigns that in the end are more about him being black than his religion. It's subtle racism, but it's just as strong a campaign and harder to respond to because a response is needed but over-reacting would be the kiss of death. He doesn't dare show the victim face - that would be stepping right into the jaws of the Right. If she feels she's being treated unfairly because of sexism, she needs to address it directly on behalf of all women and anyone who's facing a similar battle (as Obama at least attempted to do with his speech on race). That would show her more as a leader and not a victim. Why was her campaign so blind to this other way of handling this?

He hasn't even been to Iraq as the supposed nominee, instead he is in Iowa making sure he doesn't lose anymore votes. My friends and family will NOT vot for this egostical jerk who doesn't have a clue whats even going on in Iraq and who touts all his foreign policy experience. I applaud Clinton and McCain who have made the trip several times to visit the troops and to actually see what is taking place there.

It bothers me that some of you would gladly hand the keys to the White House to John McCain, not because you agree with his policies, but to "teach Obama/DNC/INSERT ENEMY HERE" a lesson. Because it's not about what is best for the country, it is about punishing your enemies, right?

How is it that Clinton want to count Michigan and Florida and not count the votes in the caucus states. Why aren't the reporters pointing this out. So MI and FL count but the others don't . It would seem to me that if she wants to count all votes then count all votes, including the caucus states. But she wont do that because it will take away her argument of having the lead in the popular vote.

To Clinton supports (especially those who threaten to go McCain), She does not have a majority, this is a democracy, Why would you turn your back on the party becuase a black man beat Clinton (fairly)? You really need to search your hearts and ask yourself. do we want universal healthcare? do we want to end this war? Do we want a better education system to help America's children compete internationally?

Yes = Vote democratic (this means the Black guy that you are not familiar with, who beat your choice for the first woman president. It is not about gender or race it is about the issues. And McCain has all of the wrong answers.

Since he won in caucus stateswhere these states do not share actual numbers of "popular vote", he truly is dealing with unknown numbers as to how popular he is. I am an Obama supporter–but I have great respect for Senator Clinton. I think it would do everyone commenting here a lot of good to read the actual words of these candidates and thoughtfully spend the time to get to know their policy positions, rather than arguing over character issues and threatening to not vote for the other person. I would gladly vote for Senator Clinton if she earned the nomination. Our task at hand is to be mature adults and Democrats and think of the future of the nation before our own loyalties. John McCain is a disastrous choice. Not voting is a disastrous choice. Please, stop all the negativity and get behind our candidate–whether Senator Clinton or Senator Obama. Neither one is a perfect human being–we cannot expect that. But, we can make a choice to be maturely and respectfully invested in our nation. Senator Obama appears to be our best hope of actually changing America in so many ways. He will certainly improve our relationship with other countries. This idea that we should not negotiate with other countries because we have label them one way or the other is insane. What could it hurt to talk to Hamas? You may be able to find a common ground to settle this. I would do on heck of alot of negotiating to save you children from both sides from being killed in senseless violence. American revolutinaries were considered terrorists by the British. Had the British negotiated with them after the Olive branch petition was given to them, we would probably be British today.

American government is dominated by big business. Senator Obama would at least try to remove them from Washington. I doubt he would be sucessful–but he would try.

Hilary like her husband will say whatever it takes to win and gain power. Of the three canidates she is the most dishonest and corrupt.

Barrack is far left of me, but he will try to make a difference and is the most honest of the three. I think character counts and they sure aren't coming up with much on Obama. So I will vote Obama and if Hilary somehow manages to win the Democratic nomination, I will vote McCain because I think he is more honest of the two.
