What a shame for the democrats, but we will reap what we sow. If we as a party are willing to nominate an empty shirt as our candidate, we deserve to be led by a republican for 4 more years. I can't stomach voting for this racist, sexist lying man, so I'll be holding my nose and voting for McCain, unless the rules committee seats Florida and Michigan, and the super-delegates get a clue and support the only nominee that makes sense for our party - Senator Hillary Clinton.

Obama Supporters:

Don't respond to anymore Hillary posts. It is pointless. This is how she and CNN are able to keep the drama going. It's over, she lost. Enough.

Let Hillary supporters talk to each other, and don't respond.

For those of you who think that we Hillary supporters will 'fall in line' in November, are sadly mistaken. Millions of us will do whatever it takes to send Obama back to the Senate.

Well then, Christine, you will have no right to be here in a couple of years when McCain is president and we're in worse shape than we are now. Grow up.

Barack Obama did NOT make the rules for FL and MI.

Harold Ickes of the Clinton camp DID vote to punish them.

The fault lies within the Government of the two states. If you are upset about the outcome, get out of your chair and vote in a new Gov who will not choose to break the rules.

It IS that simple. I certainly hope the voters are counted also, but I would do everything in my power to make sure those in the gov. that are responsible for this are punished as they have chose to punish you voters.

Place blame where it belongs!!!!!!!!!

Hillary supporters who will vote for McCain in November:

You are choosing "experience", and ensuring that our troops continue to be sacrificed in a mind-boggingly wasteful war for no reason but to keep our SUVs running. You're choosing political know-how, and blatantly and seriously risking a woman's right to choose.

Get over your bitterness, join the chorus calling for transparent government, peace, equality, and respect and safety for Americans and America.

Obama's success is NOT due to some underlying sexism. Every Obama supporter is a would-be Hillary supporter. He is simply the far, far superior candidate.

C'mon over! No hard feelings!
Obama for America! Obama 08!

For those of you who will refuse to vote for Obama just because you prefer Hillary are not truly grasping the seriousness of your decision to not unite our party. For you women who thinks Mr. Obama is sexist and will vote for McCain, just remember, Mr. McCain will take away your right to chose and conservatize the Supreme Court and that would not be in your favor. If you want your children, nephew and nieces to be sent to Iraq, vote for McCain. If you want 4 more years of the last 8, vote for McCain, you will get what you deserve because of your refusal to unite and take back the White House. All I heard this morning on the news and read on these blogs is sexism and racism. Enough already. Mr. Obama is winning this fair and square. Mr. McCain called Mrs. Clinton to congratulate her on her Indiana win; he never once called Mr. Obama which tells you a lot about our government. This is the 21st Century, and it's time for a big change. The Bush's and Clinton's have held on to the White House to long. Sorry for my rant, I just got so upset seeing Geraldine Ferraro on TV this morning spuing sexism and putting thoughts in womens minds that they have be dupped... so untrue, so un-democratic. That kind of talk will cause us to lose this race, again.

Agree with Jane O above - I still wonder what the love affair is with Obama did anyone read News week article last week - there is not much difference between either candidate even with pondering, money, etc., I certainly hope he does not get bored, - I personally think he will be like Carter - but I am a democrate and will vote for him, - I do believe HIliary is the best candidate and so do most dems I believe - but for some reason the news media and DNC Dean do not think so -

The one thing that doomed hillary's campaign is her inability to connec with voters. Her husband is the King of that. He can take the most complex subject and break it down like Fischer-Proce. Hillary is not Bill. I think a lot of voters are in love with seeing Bill back in the white House, but the Clinton are a big red X on the conservatives war map. The United States needs to heal, and we don't need a candidate that will continue to spew hate. She is smart, but her drive to become president is bigger than anything or anybody else. I am more scared of Hillary Clinton as president than John McCain.

You know, if this was Joe Biden or Bill Richards or John Edwards and they were this close we wouldn't be hearing that they should "shut up" , "get lost", "give it up", etc. now would we? I don't think so! Go Hillary to the convention and if not, we will write you in. We don't need another eight years of inexperience and practice at being president and we don't need Michelle Obama as first lady....

One question. Name one thing Obama has done that was dishonest. Rev. Wright, which really has NOTHING to do with the candidate, and you really can not blame him for supporting the guy. Obama has been really straight forward. Nothing to bamboozle or hoodwink anyone.

Hillary can't balance or manage a campagn budget, realize she is not winning. She does her own caculations (math) and then wants to persuade the delegates that she is the best candidate. Best candidate for the Mentally Unstable farm--delusional. She just don't get it. She enter the race, lost and should bow out gracefully. She is allowing people to make her look foolish by continuing this race. Who wants a president that sees a rag flag, stop sign, do not enter, wrong way, and keeps going anyway. Blind leading the blind.

Apparently there are new comments from Hillary's campaign about her being treated unfairly because she's a woman.

She's being treated no worse than Obama. These whisper email campaigns against him about his religion and the flag-pins are code-word campaigns that in the end are more about him being black than his religion. It's subtle racism, but it's just as strong a campaign and harder to respond to because a response is needed but over-reacting would be the kiss of death. He doesn't dare show the victim face - that would be stepping right into the jaws of the Right.

If she feels she's being treated unfairly because of sexism, she needs to address it directly on behalf of all women and anyone who's facing a similar battle (as Obama at least attempted to do with his speech on race). That would show her more as a leader and not a victim. Why was her campaign so blind to this other way of handling this?

Hilary supporters, listen up.. A loss by Obama in November is a loss for us all. it think it's high time we all started acting like adults. Your protest vote in November for McCain will be like spending your rent money for strippers. it might feel good at the time, but they'll be hell to pay when the rent's due.....

If Obama does win, it will be fun to watch the Rev.'s Sharpton, Jackson and Wright be forced to finally find real jobs and to watch the media scrutinze every word that comes out of Michelle "the mouth" Obama for the next four years. She sure can dish it out, but can't take it.

Well "SWEETIE", you live in the fish bowl now, so either get used to it or SHUT UP!

James from Redlands,

Please understand how many Hillary supporters on these blogs go on and on how they will vote for McBush over Obama.

Obama and Hillarys policies are so similar, yet her supporters would prefer to continue in Iraq, have no economic policy and no vision for our future?

Its those Hillary supporters who will bury our future! Grow up!

Obama is so in to himself it makes me sick, I remember in college
there were people who thought they were better than everyone
else, what snobs they were.

Obama winning about attacks on his anti american wife, next time he should tell her to keep herd mouth shut. You didn't hear Hillary winning when the Obama people were tearing up Bill Clinton.

Obama needs to get a grip.

CLINTON or MCCAIN 08

NO OBAMA// NO MICHELLE AS FIRST LADY

IT SAD SAD SAD THAT HILLARY SUPPORTERS WILLL VOTE MCCRACK OUT OF SPITE. SO THIS MEANS THAT ALL THOSE WHO VOTED OBAMA WERE DISILLUSIONED AND B/CAUSE HE IS BLACK. NO NO WE VOTED FOR HIM B/CUASE HE IS THE CANDIDATE I FEEL I CAN TRUST - HILARRY WOULD HAVE BEEN OK BUT AMERICA NEEDS TO TURN THE PAGE - THIS IS THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY- IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD FROM THE DARK PLACE BUSH HAS TAKEN US.
THINK OF THIS : MCCAIN IS A FORMER POW AND MILITARY MAN AND YET HE VOTED FOR THE WAR AND CONTINUES IT ADVOCATION...WHAT ABOUT THAT JUDGMENT. TO ME BARACKS JUDMENTS IS TYPED TO HIS MANAGMENT SKILLS; LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE TODAY - HE HAS THE NOMINATION RUNNING THINGS HIS WAY. ITS FUNNY THAT PEOPLE SAY HE WENT NEGATIVE ON HILARY BUT YET WHEN HE DID NOT RESPOND IT MADE HIM SEEM WEAK!! SO I HOPE THAT WE CAN ALL STILL COME TOGETHER DESPITE THE INTENSE FEELINGS OF LOSE. HILARY I HOPE MANAGES TO CONVINCE HER VOTERS TO REMAIN FAITHFULL TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY - BEAUCE A VOTE FOR MCCAIN MEANS YOU AREN'T TRU TO THESE IDEALS HELPING THE REGULAR FOLK FIRST , IT IS A VERY REPUBLICAN THING TO DO IF YOU WERE TO CHOSE TO VOTE FOR MCCAIN. HE IS A WAR MONGER WHO WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT - AND YOU THINK CHANEY IS A BAD HE IS A LAMB COMPARED TO MCCAIN

Look, if Hillary really is the better candidate and more qualified, why the @#$ is she getting her clock cleaned by a 46-year-old first-term senator? Why is she 20 million in debt after TWICE loaning her campaign money, something that's unprecedented in presidential campaigns, as far as I know.

Face it, if the Clinton juggernaut with all its resources can't stomp a guy as new to the scene as Obama, Hillary is NOT the better candidate.

Democratic Party should NOT deserve "democratic" among its name if Hillary cannot win the nominee.

USA will definitely step down from "superpower" if Hillary cannot win the nominee. This is not really what we want.

I wonder how many people who whine about Obama's inexperience voted or would have voted for John F Kennedy, or who look up to him and think he was a great president.

Guess what, he had the same amount of experience Obama has now. Keep telling yourself you aren't this or that, or bitter and angry. The truth shows through, when you really think about it. Too bad you've all closed you minds to hate.

Anyone who wants to take this to the convention with so much at stake and the risk of losing TIME is a selfish idiot. Your candidate lost. There will be no decision at the convention. The decision has been made. And if you vote McCain over Obama you have no business in this party, or the country.

Hey henriettap: I have 3 cousins in Iraq doing their second tour and yes they are Democrats so please don't catagorize all Dems. just because they don't like Obama. He hasn't even been to Iraq as the supposed nominee, instead he is in Iowa making sure he doesn't lose anymore votes. My friends and family will NOT vot for this egostical jerk who doesn't have a clue whats even going on in Iraq and who touts all his foreign policy experience. I applaud Clinton and McCain who have made the trip several times to visit the troops and to actually see what is taking place there.

CAMNI317....I could care less what the rest of this country thinks about me or where I come from..people like you judge one based on their economical and eduational standing in life which boils down to being a SNOB! By the way, I did go to college, I do own a pair of shoes, I still have the majority of my teeth and my father is not also my cousin. I just thought I would clear that all up since narrow-minded people like you have that impression of us.

I would rather live in a poor, uneducated environment, that year after year is rated as one of the SAFEST STATES in the Country...I think it says something about the morality of the "Superior States".

It seems that the spiteful, vengeful pettiness that is a hallmark of the Clinton political machine is contagious.

It bothers me that some of you would gladly hand the keys to the White House to John McCain, not because you agree with his policies, but to "teach Obama/DNC/INSERT ENEMY HERE" a lesson. Because it's not about what is best for the country, it is about punishing your enemies, right?

Then again, when Hillary herself practices the politics of retribution and vengeance, you can't be surprised that she attracts people who think the same way.

So I'm a huge supporter of Obama, and I turned in my ballot last week for today's primary...but seriously, what is with the pictures of Clinton regularly being posted on this site? They are almost always unflattering, and my question is, who is picking these to post? It's been a rough campaign and the candidates are friggin tired...a little discretion would be a bit more respectful, don't you think? I'm just sayin'.

How is it that Clinton want to count Michigan and Florida and not count the votes in the caucus states. Why aren't the reporters pointing this out. So MI and FL count but the others don't . It would seem to me that if she wants to count all votes then count all votes, including the caucus states. But she wont do that because it will take away her argument of having the lead in the popular vote.

To Clinton supports (especially those who threaten to go McCain), She does not have a majority, this is a democracy, Why would you turn your back on the party becuase a black man beat Clinton (fairly)? You really need to search your hearts and ask yourself. do we want universal healthcare? do we want to end this war? Do we want a better education system to help America's children compete internationally?

No = vote for McCan
Yes = Vote democratic (this means the Black guy that you are not familiar with, who beat your choice for the first woman president. It is not about gender or race it is about the issues. And McCain has all of the wrong answers.

Those of you touting the experience card are ignorant. Our best presidents lacked in that very category... Lincoln, Kennedy, etc. It's because they are able to think outside the box and not be more of the same. Come on people, think for once in your life.

MD Houston and others who feel Hillary was entitiled to the White House whatever. She should have run in 2004 but she did not nobody was stopping her. I was never in love with Kerry so she had her chance then as well. You dont want to see the list where BLACKS couldnt even wait in line or come in the door due to whites so dont even go there. This country has a long way to go and Barack being the next Dem Nominee has brought out just far that truly is. As a female Hillary does NOT inspire me and she never has. I will have my girl power sign when we have a female politican running for the white house who does inspire me.

If Hillary was the "experienced fighter" people CLAIM she is, she would not have ignored the caucus system and would be ahead in every legitimate measurable category. LOL

If McCain were the "experienced leader," people CLAIM, he would not have had to fire 5 of his top campaign advisors. LOL

Get over your animosity!! Obama, the freshman senator, has won the nomination...fair and square.

BTW, I don't believe real dems would be sooo foolish as to write in Hillary or vote McCain. These posters are Repubs. Don't listen to them!!

If Obama could beat Hillary and several other democratic candidates in the primary, what makes us think he can't beat McCain? Obama does not have a problem winning the white vote. He may have a problem winning the racist vote, but the population of racists in America is decreasing.

Fuzzy math or not...Obama ought to wake up. Since he won in caucus stateswhere these states do not share actual numbers of "popular vote", he truly is dealing with unknown numbers as to how popular he is. Hillary knows for sure, as do I, that she is the one who can beat McCain in November. She has real nuber and solid facts. Obama reminds me of the popular kid in gym, only choosing the other popular kids to be on his dodgeball team. He only thinks everybody admires him. But down deep most of the kids dislike his arrogance and heady confidence.
Hillary is the girl with confidence in her heart. Those who are jealous may hate her. But those who know she can get the job done quietly support her and cheer her on. You Go, Girl!!!!

I am an Obama supporter--but I have great respect for Senator Clinton. I think it would do everyone commenting here a lot of good to read the actual words of these candidates and thoughtfully spend the time to get to know their policy positions, rather than arguing over character issues and threatening to not vote for the other person. I would gladly vote for Senator Clinton if she earned the nomination. Our task at hand is to be mature adults and Democrats and think of the future of the nation before our own loyalties. John McCain is a disastrous choice. Not voting is a disastrous choice. Please, stop all the negativity and get behind our candidate--whether Senator Clinton or Senator Obama. Neither one is a perfect human being--we cannot expect that. But, we can make a choice to be maturely and respectfully invested in our nation. Think of the future of our children, ourselves, and our parents before being petty and small-minded.

Senator Obama appears to be our best hope of actually changing America in so many ways. He will certainly improve our relationship with other countries. This idea that we should not negotiate with other countries because we have label them one way or the other is insane. What could it hurt to talk to Hamas? You may be able to find a common ground to settle this. I would do on heck of alot of negotiating to save you children from both sides from being killed in senseless violence. American revolutinaries were considered terrorists by the British. Had the British negotiated with them after the Olive branch petition was given to them, we would probably be British today.

American government is dominated by big business. Senator Obama would at least try to remove them from Washington. I doubt he would be sucessful--but he would try.

Hilary like her husband will say whatever it takes to win and gain power. Of the three canidates she is the most dishonest and corrupt.

Barrack is far left of me, but he will try to make a difference and is the most honest of the three. I think character counts and they sure aren't coming up with much on Obama. So I will vote Obama and if Hilary somehow manages to win the Democratic nomination, I will vote McCain because I think he is more honest of the two.
