Write in Hillary Clinton in November. Do not stay home, do not vote for McCain. We can show the DNC what we think of their choice. This thing with Obama reminds me of a free concert I attended. We were all standing in a nice line, and suddenly 4/5 people broke rank and started a stampede. A lot of people were hurt in the process. The stampede of superdelegates before all the votes are in, is like what happened before the gates were open. It is going to hurt the DNC, and the nominee. Let the Obama-bots call us racist. They don't like Hillary , well we don't like Obamas' far left liberal ideas. That does not make us racist.

Well, from what we hear and read the American Press has finally gotten their candidate the Democratic party nomination. Maybe now the continual bashing of a fine and brilliant woman who actually had answers to issues will stop. Like one woman voter said, people are in love with the "idea" of Obama the Rock Star; not for his ideas. Where are we going America? Straight into the abyss, I think. If Senator Clinton is not given the nomination, then I am not voting for I have no candidate.

They know that the last ditch strategy of the Clinton campaign is to create division within the party to support her electability in the general election. Those numbers may not be as bad as they seem. To me they seem to indicate that Hillary is losing her less die-hard supporters, who are crossing over and now voting for Obama. This means that proportionally more Obama supporters will say that they would vote for Clinton (because they were recently Clinton supporters anyways), while proportionally fewer Clinton supporters say they would vote for Obama (because all she has left now are her most rabid fans).

It could also indicate that Hillary is simply continuing to draw in the support of the racist voters, who would never vote for *any* black candidate.

I guess the actual election results will show how much of a crossover there really was.

Several exit polls have indicated the reluctance of H. Clinton supporters to vote Obama over McCain in the general election. It remains to be seen if these attitudes reflect a short-term dissatisfaction that their candidate has lost the nomination and a long-term failure to focus on issues. I suspect that presidential debates between Obama and McCain will serve to focus on the vast policy differences between these two and remind Democrats who would be best to represent their interests.
