As Senator Obama himself said, Senator Clinton's on the short list. I'm going to defer judgement until the dust settles.

Frankly, I'm a bit worried about her. She's not looking too well, compared to when she started out.

I think it was a HUGE mistake for her to go "negative" against Senator Obama, not least for her as a person. Whoever advised her to go that route has a lot to answer for.

No way. The Clintons carry too much baggage.
The country is not ready for a black and a female all together. That would be a looser ticket. And second of all, the Clintons would undermine Obama's message. Obama needs a consevative democrat and experienced V.P who can deliver some key states that Obama would not otherwise win.

Sometimes you need "old Washington" to beat them at their own game. If people want the dems to win, they need a unified, unbeatable ticket. I'm no fan of Obama's - he talks a good game but what has he done? Hillary hasn't gotten a fair shake and I think her comments about the press ignoring sexism are valid. Because she's a strong, outspoken woman she's untrustworthy? I think they're both intelligent people and combined, we'll see a Democrat in the White House. Get over yourselves and thing BIG PICTURE.

Why is no one talking about Clinton disenfranchising voters with her "I'm ahead in the popular vote" arguement? She is discounting caucus states and all of those voters!!!! I'm glad to count Florida and Michigan, but this argument of hers is hypocritical!

In a word "NO" I am SICK of Hillary. I do not want to see or hear from her after this election. She represents old Washington, business as usual, Barack wants to change Washington, Change We Can Believe In. I hope Barack does not HAVE to offer it to her, just because she Lost! Just about anyone else would be better.

Obama and Clinton would make a nice ticket but i prefer an Obama Edwards ticket. I was an Edwards supporter but moved over to the Obama side once he dropped. Clinton is a great candidate but there is no way she can beat Mccain. Obama supporters and Clinton supporters have to remember that we are ONE party. Im tired of hearing they wont vote for the other candidate if they are nominated. If Obama doesnt clinch the nomination then i will most def vote for Clinton. Remember people we need a democrat in the White House.

Hillary Clinton should not be Obama's VP pick. She is a ruthless, selfish, whining person who would be nothing but an albatross around his neck. She has shown that she doesn't care about tearing up the Party. Bill Clinton is lying when he says her continuance in the campaign has been good for Obama. He knows. She knows what she has done has been detrimental to Obama and the Democratic Party. She has sought to split this contest along racial lines with her lies about sexism and her winning the most popular votes. She knows that the delegate count is what matter. If for no other reason, her conduct in the last month has shown that she should not be Obama's VP. I am firmly of the opinion that her presence on the ticket would result in a huge loss for the Democratic Party. Don't forget 62 percent of Americans believe she is dishonest. That means that we know the rationale she has provided for staying in this race is viewed as dishonest.
She has played on the racism of poor white people. She cares not about them, but only about herself.

Hillary Clinton should not be Obama's VP pick. She is a ruthless, selfish, whining person who would be nothing but an albatross around his neck. She knows what she has done has been detrimental to Obama and the Democratic Party.
I believe that Sen. Clinton should recieve a high ranking position, but not the vice presidency. It does not appear that Sen. Clinton can work under Sen. Obama. This view may change, this depends on how gracious she is in accepting defeat. How can she clean up the attacks she has made and help to solidify the party? How hard will she work to help the party win the presidency? Will she work as hard as Sen. Obama would work for her?

Listen up all you Obama and Clinton supporters. One thing is absolutely clear and you should hear this loud and clear. It appears that Obama will be the nominee and like it or not hard decisions will have to be made. If Obama is the nominee he cannot get the support he needs amongst those who have already or yet to vote for Hillary Clinton without her support. LIKE IT OR NOT, SO ALL OF YOU GROW UP AND GET THIS THING DONE! Soon everyone will have had their say, their vote and it will be clear that if Hillary can't convince super delegates that she should be the one -which she has every right to do no matter what - then the only way to stop the hemorrhage of voters flooding to McCain is to accept her as a candidate for VP. LIKE IT OR NOT IT'S THE ONLY WAY. DO YOU WANT HIM TO WIN, OR NOT?

I voted for Obama today (in KY) but have to acknowledge that Hillary has lots of support and deserves the spot -- IFObama wants to offer it and IFshe wants to take it. But I think she will make a greater contribution to this country as a powerful senator -- like Senator Kennedy.

OBAMA SHOULD NEVER CHOOSE HILLAY FOR VICE-PRESIDENT, nor should anyone pressure him to. I came across a piece in the Toronto Sun (check with any good library) on this issues that I consider the best I have ever read. Please get it and read it if you can! The article is titled "Hillary no mate for Obama: Loyalty is first quality of a presidential candidate seeks in a vice-president," by Lisa Van Dusen, Toronto Sun, May 18, 2008. Lisa argues that not only that such a choice would guarantee a lost for Obama in November (and Republicans would love it) since it undercuts his sterling message about new and old politics, lobbyists, etc. Furthermore, the Clintons will never be truly loyal to Obama. On the other hand, they would spent their time in the Vice-Presidential mansion plotting his downfall or demise in the hope of taking over or plotting for Hillary's next run for the job. Let him who has ear hear!

Not if he is sincere in his desire to change Washington! Hillary's campaign run by lobbyists and Washington insiders is the exact opposite of what Obama has been preaching-change, accountability, and giving government back to the people. He would look like a hypocrite if he chose her now.

As a staunch Obama supporter, I am becoming more and more interested in getting a Democrat in the White House. No matter how you look at it, their is something powerful in both of them. It proves what the Democratic Party is all about and what our country is about.

It must be a DEM!

The big question is Could Hillary Clinton run as on the General Election outside the democratic party? No one really wants McCain and Hillary supporter don't want Obama, they really want Hillary Clinton for President. If the democratic party decides to ignore the Florida and Michigan voters we should unite in the general election and vote for Hillary Clinton. She doesn't need to be the VP when she can be the President.

As usual, the Obama supporters are starting to rant. I thought Mr Wonderful could bring the country together and unite us all across party lines. But you're saying he can't work with a fellow Democrat whose views are similar to his. Well then, that's another reason I won't vote for him. And if he wins, will he get my vote for President??
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
