Those of you Democrats, who would rather vote for McCain, we all know why, but you are too cowardly to admit it. But go for it, what you don't understand is that we as AA are survivers, we were taught survival by our slave-ancestors, so if you manage to put McCain in the WH, we have, can, and will make the best of a bad situation, those of you who's ignorance will allow you to vote for McCain, will eventually be looking for the nearest bridge, when things get soo bad, that you cannot handle it.

Lisa, Marge, Mary, Linda, and Sharon ~~ you are nothing but toxic Republicans. Bill Clinton himself said at the Nevada State Democratic (Reno )convention last weekend, that we MUST vote for the Democratic candidate in November. NO MATTER which one it is...straight from Hillary's husband. A vote for McCain is a vote for another four years of war, of a downward spiraling economy, of loss of women't rights...in other words, more of the same garbage we are staring into the face.

Hillary in 08-President in 09! As my second grade teacher taught us word for word, one of the Great writings of Patriot Thomas Paine titled "The Crisis" December 1776, it does state: These are the times that try mens souls: The Summer Soldier and sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, will shrink from the service of his country, but he that stands in Now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not conqured easily; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict the more glorious the triumph-Thomas Paine December 1776. Our country is in a crisis today, and all we have as a free people, hangs in the balance. It is our hope that these old but inspiring words will harden Hillary Clinton, as in a way, the battles of Trenton & Princeton lay before her. Hillary is no quitter and we stand with her through thick and thin or third party which respects the Rights of Women, as this is a gender war, not a political contest.

Any Democrat that votes for McCain is a fool. Barack and Hillary stand for the same ideals and policies with very few exceptions. If you switch sides and vote for the Republican candidate it shows that you are voting for the wrong reasons.

If you are hurt because your candidate did not win, I understand. But if you vote against your own best interest, the best interest of your kids, and the best interest of their kids, then you are a fool, plain and simple.

Both candidates are experienced. (Obama actually has 4 years over Clinton of ELECTED office.)
Both candidates have great policy standpoints.

The people have chosen who they want. Like Bill Clinton said, "during a primary you fall in love, but during a general you fall in line."

joe DeSoto, MO. -

I think that's what a lot of voters have in mind... and they don't like the idea.

I myself do not hate the idea of Hillary being president. It wasn't until the kitchen sink strategy, the changing rule strategy, the MI & FL strategy (even after she said they wouldn't count) that I started not liking what they stood for personally, not politically.

Politically, they are fantastic, but personally, I'm seeing their true colors (no pun intended). There were just too many low blows given on her part. I still think she's a great politician, but she's done a lot of damage this primary season.

Obama (self appointed presumptive Nominee) is already losing to McCain. Democratic leadership needs to get the closer into the real race for White House, Hillary Clinton. Suggest that Superdelegates get together, and for sake of party nominate Hillary at convention.
(PS let Florida and also Michigan participate, or we'll loose some States by "friendly fire".)

It amazes me that Hillary supporters state that Obama cannot win the election. They obviously completely ignore the overwhelmingly negative sentiment that follows Hillary. Even Kentucky voters have exit polled that Hillary is not honest. I have seen Hillary supporters state that Obama is stealing the nomination. That's unbelieveably naive as Obama has won more states, more delelgates and the popular vote. As far as Florida and Michigan, only Hillary wants to change the rules that she agreed to!! Hillary has run a deceptive, negative, and dishonest campaign. She would be totally ineffective in bringing Congress together to accomplish anything. The majority of voters, delegates and now super delegates see through her. Sorry Hillary, it's time to bow out--and help unite the Democratic Party.

The majorit of angry people will have to come around and vote for the democrat if they want to end the senselss slaughter of our men and womed in the military, and innovcent victims in the Middle East. The other big subject is Roe V. Wade. If Clinton supporters refuse to vote for the nominee that will protect this right will then be subjecting their daughtrs and grandaughters to the former types of abortionist who do their wokr in dirty back rooms with no hygenic care or followup. I don't believe they would want to see their daughters go through what women had to do before Roe V Wade. They must also remember that they will be the ones returning the power to Republicans who have turned us to the mosted hated nation in the world, rather than the best. A vote for McCain is a vote to give up civil liberties, and a continuation of not only the foreign falled plan of Bush but also for his failed economic policies.

Marty,

I'm afraid you are not paying attention. Clinton's universal healthcare plan, which would require people like you and me--who can and do afford our own healthcare--to pay into the system anyway, to support those who cannot. Obama's plan would not require that. Who's plan is more socialist and far left?

Wake up, people! You're parroting talking points that are false!

It's crazy that Democrats would vote Republican just because they are sore losers.

I'm an Obama supporter, but I will vote for Hillary if she is the nominee.

It's time to stick together Democrats!

No McSame in the White House!!

I'm hoping a miracle will happen and Hillary Clinton will be the nominee! She is the only hope this country has left! If Obama gets the nomination and becomes president, which I'm sure he will not, this country will go downhill faster than you can count to three!

Obama may be the nominee but if so, he has a long way to go to win over Hillary's supporters. Of course, judging from the comments by the Obama fans, they don't care. All Hillary supporters are poor, stupid, racist, ignorant, uneducated, lazy........Who needs them anyway

What is really wrong with my fellow Hillary supporters? Are we supporting her because of her policy programmes and campaign or is it because of racism and sexism? How can we explain this our self dedial?
Any contest must have a winner and a runner up. I still hope Hillary will win but if she doesn't, her policy programmes that I admire are much similar to that of Obama and is at logger heads with that of McCain.
As a woman, I am proud of Hillary for taking this contest this far. It is a victory for us to have the first woman to attempt, to go this far. If we can't make it now, surely we will be able to make it next time. It will be a regrettable mistake for any woman to vote for the GOP or allow them to win (by abstaining or writing in Hillary); we know that woman has no place in the GOP's policies.
Also it is important to not that if the Democrats loose the Nov election, it will be blamed on Hillary. That will eternally destroy her political career and legacy. It may even put her senate position in line.

Please let us be careful and support anybody who wins this primary. We will show them that we are neither racists nor sexists.

about the folks in appalachia. (having spent the majority of my life there). they are very poor, in some parts it looks like a 3rd world country. little education, little opportunity for advancement, not because they don't want to , but because they don't know how. it has been interesting to watch how clinton appeals to the poor and uneducated. when in reality obama had a period in his life he was poor, he knows what is means to struggle and the value of hardwork. to me he give me hope the american dream is alive and bush has not destroyed it with his tax breaks for the rich and cooperations and cutting benefits for those who need it most.

Noah: If I'm a paid supporter, then where's my check? And if I WAS a paid supporter, at least I know the check would clear from Obama's campaign. Clinton? Building up more debt that SOMEONE (you know who) will have to pay.

Way to back the party, Clinton!

Disgusted with this whole process, It seems the Republican party still wants the baby boomers. Agter 40 years I'm going with them.

If McCain is elected president because of you idiots, the America we love will be no more. John McCain will continue on Bush's warpath, until we are living in a Facist Police State. We will not be governed by ourselves, but by corporations and special interest groups. Blackwater will patrol the streets, and we will have lost all of our liberties.

Land of the free? Not if the neocons have anything to say about it.

To Marty, I'm just curious if you were criticizing the 100 superdelegate lead Hillary had in January, or are you only now upset that they decided to follow the will of the voters and support Obama. Don't forget that Obama has, and will continue to, win more states, pledged delegates, and overall votes making him the nominee of the people not the DNC (which had been behind Hillary from the begging)

Polls support what has been stated before - a combined ticket. Whether people love it or hate it, the two candidates have done more to promote interest in the process than anyone I can remember. I can say that because in the past I never followed a primary as closely as this one and I think it's a great example of our democratic process in action.

I wish the media would stop saying that racism is Barack's problem. His mother raised him right, he's not racist, so it's not HIS problem. Blame the racist, not Barack.

Also, I don't necessarily agree that if you're white and you're not voting for Barack it's because of his race, and I'm African American. Some people just don't want him as their president and that's fair. It's also not fair for others to say just because most blacks are voting for Barack it's because of race. Remember most blacks voted for Bill and were going to vote for Hillary before the infamous comments. So let's leave race out of this.

This is kind of a division that you find in Tribal countries in Africa. Right or wrong they vote for their tribal candidate. Long live America,Long live Obama and long live DNC

This just goes to show that he can not win in the general election and that the majority of votes he has gotten has come for the minority groups and when you win 90% of those votes during the primary it screws everything off. I am a gay man and have a hispanic lover and we would never vote for Obama and it has nothing to do with Race but HIM

It's so sad that so many of Hillary supporters would rather have another 4 years of Bush Economics than vote Obama.

Oh well, that's their choice. But when gas climbs to $8 a gallon, when we aren't able to afford healthcare, when we continue to see the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and when we continue to see 1,000's upon 1,000's of our young men and women continue to die in a wars that should have never been waged, then I guess those who voted McCain over Obama will have no one to blame but themselves.

I'm hoping there are more intelligent, well educated democrats in the world than what I see here on these blogs.

Intelligent people, come November, please vote Democrat - regardless of the nominee.

It is interesting to read the posts of the operation chaos folks pretending to be Democrats, the ones who rant about "far-left radicals" and Obama's "far-left ideas," and his "socialist agenda." That's the language of right wingers not even clever enough to mask their real identities. My advice: pay no attention to the idiots behind the curtain.
