(CNN) - Is politics in Chelsea Clinton's future?
Bill Clinton says maybe.
In an interview with People Magazine, the former president said he thinks his daughter is a natural campaigner who may one day follow her parents into the family business.
"If you asked me [whether Chelsea would go into politics] before Iowa, I would have said, 'No way. She is too allergic to anything we do.' But she is really good at it," the former president said in the latest edition of the magazine
Clinton also said Chelsea was deeply upset by her mother's disappointing third-place finish in Iowa in January.
"It all changed after Iowa," he said. "She realized her mother lost Iowa 100 percent because of younger voters. She was upset, bawled, went to her employer and said, 'Look, you got to let me go or give me an indefinite leave of absence. I'm not letting my mother go down like this.' "

My gosh is he so power hungry that he and his wife just can't fade off into the sunset and grow old together peacefully? He's been a Governor and President . She's been a Senator. They will always have a place in history (good and bad). Now he's going to start pushing his daughter to run so that he can continue to feel relevant. Enough already.

On another note...it must be nice to be able to take an indefinate amount of time off from your employer to travel the US on behalf of your mom. That is something the average joe cannot do.

Sure Chelsea can go into politics. Afterall, she has had he experience of being in the White House for nearly 8 years as the first daughter and previously as the first daughter of Arkansas. Surely, this expereince will enable her to hit the road running so to say. Unlike others who have not had the opportunity of being first lady etc. etc.
As long as she offers more than just her name.

I saw an interview with Chelsea Clinton and the first thought that came to my minda was that she would be the first Female President. let's just hope she doesn't get corrupted like her parents! I am very impressed with her. She's got it in her blood!
