(CNN) - Is politics in Chelsea Clinton's future?
Bill Clinton says maybe.
In an interview with People Magazine, the former president said he thinks his daughter is a natural campaigner who may one day follow her parents into the family business.
"If you asked me [whether Chelsea would go into politics] before Iowa, I would have said, 'No way. She is too allergic to anything we do.' But she is really good at it," the former president said in the latest edition of the magazine
Clinton also said Chelsea was deeply upset by her mother's disappointing third-place finish in Iowa in January.
"It all changed after Iowa," he said. "She realized her mother lost Iowa 100 percent because of younger voters. She was upset, bawled, went to her employer and said, 'Look, you got to let me go or give me an indefinite leave of absence. I'm not letting my mother go down like this.' "

Good grief .... this is a never-ending nightmare !
We have seen what your parents are, and you are no different. I have always thought of Chelsea as a decent person, but that not your business answer was very dissappointing. I thought she would be a professional, when asked about a private question like Monica. Instead, Chelsea proved to be just like her mother. Highly educated people with very low life personality.
Chelsea has been a life saver for what is left for her mothers campaign. She was too young to really grasp the whole election and campaign process when Former President Clinton was in office.
She has the right routes to get into politics, and its obvious she has two highly talented and highly experienced parents to teach her and guide her to success on the political front.
That's nice and who cares?
Bill just wants back in the WH at any cost. Did he forget something there? I am sure Bush would let him back in to pick up whatever he left behind. Maybe he can take the $20 tour.
Honestly – is this news???
What a crock! "Im not letting my mother go down like this!". Bill Clinton is the ultimate spin machine, just face facts....your time has come and go and America needs a different outlook to get us out of a number of ruts. Way to stir up some emotion on behave of HRC...give it up.
I am sorry but the Clintons and the bush families should be banned from running and being elected to any public office. And I would have to go even further and say these families should be.
( SPADE AND NUITTERED ) so there seed can not ruin this country anymore!!!!!!!
BARACK THE VOTE!!!!!!!!!!
This country will be run by two families...YIKES!
WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER CLINTON IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
Who cares. If she does it won't be president anytime soon.
Go back to your job, No More Clintons!!!
Good for her!
Surprise, surprise.
Now she can run on a dual-ticket with Hillary in 2016. Ugh.
http://thepajamapundit.com/
That punk 28 year old better be able to talk to the press if she wants to go into politics!!!!
THEY CAN ALL GO HOME NO SHAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe Obama should find a place for her in his cabinet. . . to give her some experience for a future run for office. . . She could be our next best hope for a female president on down the road.
Wasn't America founded to get away from powerful ruling dynasties?
This whole family's obsession with power is disturbing...
Chelsea would be better than Obama and his groupies
Brilliant!
We recommend everybody run as long as you are talented regardless of your last name!
Hillary 08, 12.
Chelsea 24, 28!
Another UGLY Clinton in Politics. NO NO NO
Hillary, Chelsea will be the one who is going to be the first woman president for United States of America and it would be good for you now to give up and work on Chelsea's future and perhaps become grandma soon. Give it up woman. You have come this far and as a women my self I admire your courage and strength but I also know that there is time for every thing a time to press hard and a time to give up!
We do not need another Clinton if she is going to be like her parents. Win at any cost, change the rules, lie, cry, etc and turn on the base of people who supported them thru thick and thin.
And when she runs for office, will Chelsea also claim 8 years of White House experience like her mom?????
Chelsea that would not be a very good move. The blacks and the white males would not ever be able to see a women move past
their ego's.
I continue to support your mother, she is the stonger of the men
in the race for President.
The press is against your mother as well as the news media.
Stay your current course, if you enter the politics game I would support
you, you are clever and good looking.
Oh god, it's scary to imagine what kind of politician she'll be when she's learning the ropes from Hillary. She'll be even more ruthless, underhanded and unscrupulous than Hillary is.
