Hillary truely amazes me. She is a threat to society.

Now the real test comes for Mr. Obama (who was giving a speech in Fl when this occured and therefore did NOT tell his campaign how to respond) will he use this in his stump speeches or will he let it go? Letting it go is the high road, and the one I think he will take (unless specifically asked about it) which is more than I could say for Ms. Clinton if the situation were reversed.

as for Hillary's latest comments... pfffffffft!!! i don't ever want to think about voting for her, was never going to vote for her and will never vote for her . i am utterly and thoroughly disgusted with how low she's stooped just to get into the white house. there's not even a low that exists for her to match, so i think she has actually crated the new low. she's contradicted herself throughout this campaign and i know without a shadow of a doubt that thousands if not millions will pull their support from her after her recent comments. she's sided with racists and now her recent comments show that she's got a whisper campaign to carry out those tactics. not a day has gone by where i pray for safety. safety for this country, safety for the people in this country and safety especially for Obama and his family. the fact that hillary would put that out there for all the world to hear and see lets me know that it's what she wants. i wish her the best, but good Lord, move the **** on.

I hope Barack says no to Hillary as VP. He doesn't need her and she's done everything possible to burn bridges with him and his supporters. As for those saying they will vote for McCain when Hillary finally faces reality, I just don't buy it. (CNN) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, a U.S. senator from Illinois, has been placed under the protection of the Secret Service, the agency said Thursday.

The government is not aware of any specific, credible threat against Obama, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the decision. But his office has received hate mail and calls and other "threatening materials" in the past and during his campaign, the source said.

Three Obama campaign officials who discussed the issue on condition of anonymity also said there was no specific threat against the candidate.

They said the request stemmed from what one called the "cumulative effect" of a heavier campaign schedule, larger crowds and "just the growing perception internally" it was time to take additional security precautions that are best suited for the Secret Service.

A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson also told CNN there is no known specific or credible threat.

Illinois' senior senator, Democrat Dick Durbin, told reporters Thursday night that he relayed concerns about the size of the crowds Obama was drawing and other issues to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Reid decided to take the matter to Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff as an issue for a congressional advisory board, Durbin said.

"I knew the crowds were large ... but some of the other information given to us, unfortunately I think, raised a concern among many of [Obama's] friends," Durbin said.

"Unfortunately, some of the information we found was racially motivated. It is a sad reality in this day and age that Mr. Obama's African-American heritage is a cause for very violent and hatred, hated reactions among some people."
