Scenes from the trail: Obama's 'caminata'

ALT TEXT

(Courtesy: CNN's Chris Welch)

BAYAMON, Puerto Rico (CNN) - Barack Obama talked to supporters along a parade route in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Saturday. The event was referred to as a "caminata," a traditional parade for a candidate on the island.

Standing on the wooden box, Obama told supporters, "I am absolutely confident that if that we keep on working hard, there's no reason why we cant win here in Puerto Rico and if we win Puerto Rico we will win the nomination and if we win the nomination, we will win the general election."

Hilary will get out of the race when her dirty tricks are done.
How can anyone respect her after her recent comments as to her reason for remaining in the race?
It is a sad day for women in this political climate.
America deserves Barack Obama as the next President. We need honesty and integrity in our next leader.

Hillary is wrong for saying do it for the women of the world that
is sexiet. She should talk to Obama about a seat on the surpreme
justices. She is a sore loser and want accept defeat because she
want the white house so bad. She have hurt herself to the VP spot.
She is $30 million in debt, wanting Florida and Michigan so that
she can overtake Obama. My question to Hillary, would she be asking
for Florida and michigan if she was in front, she would than tell
Obama, the rule are the rules. She did not object to the rules when
she thought she was the front runner. Now she trying to change
the rules. You have the democrated party, republican party and the
Clinton Party. She is hurting the party by staying in a race she have
lost. I hope after June 3rd she will get out or after puerto, Rico she
should walk away. I am not going to get into RFK thing, but she is
    making a lot of mistake.

    I support Hillary Clinton

Why have the majority of CNN articles of the Democratic candidates been mostly on Barack Obama, and articles as if he his the nominee which no one is at this time.

    Woot Hillary

Obama has this thing already in the Bank, all he's waiting for is for Hilary to get out so he could go and cash that check and the if Hilary want to continue let her, my only advise to him is not to make any Gafe.

COME ON PURTO RICO, SOUTH DAKOTA AND MONTANA..........GIVE OBAMA ALL YOUR SUPPORT!!!

RULES ARE RULES AND THEY ARE EXPLAINED AND DISCUSSED THOROUGHLY, WAY BEFORE THE PRIMARYS AND CAUCUSES START. DID HILLARY NOT UNDERSTAND THE "RULES"? IF NOT SHE SHOULD HAVE ASKED, ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES UNDERSTOOD, APPARENTLY HILLARY DID NOT DUE TO ALL THE CHANGES SHE WANTS TO MAKE AT.

I hope the "BRILLIANT" SUPER DELEGATES put their support behind OBAMA (IN THE NEXT 2 OR 3 DAYS), Supers do not have blindfolds on and are QUITE aware of what Hillary is doing as a last resort.

IF for any reason Florida and Michigan is included in popular vote then the 4 caucus states not reporting totals in popular vote should also be counted. When all is calculated one might be ahead by .0000?? or less concidering over 35 million have voted.

  10. FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT!

Another great "value" for our country, thanks to Obama. And another great lesson for our young people to learn!

But trust me, there are still millions of us who do not live by that mantra. We still believe in long and had work, which is the only path to real experience. AND WE WILL WRITE HILLARY CLINTON'S NAME ON THE NOVEMBER BALLOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, campain funds are CONTRIBUTIONS or DONATIONS! Get it? It has NOTHING to do with fiscal responsibility of a president. George Bush certainly ran a campaign without debt - and look how that worked out! Unless, of course, Obama will continue to ask for and get our "contributions" or "donatiotions" should he be elected - but maybe he will. I'm sure all the Obama supporters would rally to his call!

I voted for Bill Clinton.. twice! Before Obama I thought, hey why not Hillary? After this long fought campain..... WHY NOT Obama?

I am looking beyound the historical fact of his Presidency! I did not vote for Jesse Jackson durning his bid because I did not feel he had the support needed to run our country.

What I I teach MY kids? Work hard, Play by the rules, Understand that thier are consequneces to your actions and the CHOICES you make!

Obanma has worked hard and played by the rules- the consequence of his actions should be that he is The Democratic Nominee and we can choose to ELECT him PRESIDENT of the USA!!!!

    Obama 08-12~!!!!!!

It will be over on June 4th, lets just keep or eyes on the prize. Hillary has run her campaign into the ground on advice from very close -minded out dated policies and polititions. REMEMBER though, Hillary is a great American and should recieve the entire countries thanks and support in the future, Supreme Court? Cabinet position? She does have many good qualities.

Helen, I do beleive there is more then you are telling. Maybe a little jelious you have done nothing with your sad life. Hillary will run the country as well if not better then Bill did. Only with her pants on. And she will leave the white house is better shape then its been in seven years.

  24. McCain sucks

He will leave our troops to die and suffer in discrase. He will not support the troops as he had demonstrated last week by not supporting the GI bill. He is a discrase to our country and our men in uniform.

He is too old and needs to retire, we will all help him along this year. McCain will be able to concentrate on his re-occuring cancel. He has the best of the best and our troops do not. It is a discrase to our country the way we treat our people.

After her comment again yesterday regarding 'June time', I can't believe she's still in the race. It's time to go home, Hillary.
Very unprofessional not to choose her words carefully and very callous to have involked those words at this time with all that is happening.
I believe she knew what she said, no gaffe; she ruthless and desperate.
This will be her legacy...she just set us ladies back 50 years.
    Sad.
