Wake up Democrats!

We need to support Hillary Clinton.
Senator Obama is a dream only for the Republican Party.
They want him to be the nominee.

They know that he has no experience, can't close the deal and the states that will take him to the white house are not in his favor.

He is having trouble with so many groups of voters and the Republicans know it.
White Men
Women
Latinos
Older Voters
Jewish voters
Swing State Voters

He can not win without these groups and the Republicans know it.
If Obama becomes the nominee we WILL have another four years of
Republicans. Caucus states and many other states have republicans voting for Obama to make sure he is in the race.

He has no experience, no foreign affair knowledge, problems with his church's philosopy and ties with radical friends such as William Ayers the Domestic terrorist and Louis Farrakhan the Nation of Islam Leader that is his church's idol.

This is not American Idol. We, as Democrats, need to think who can beat McCain.

African Americans and the poor will be the ones that have the most to loose if McCain gets into the White House.

Clinton is the stronger candidate for the Presidency. She wins the states that will make a Democrat president of the United States.
She has 35 years experience. She has been outspent 2 to 3 times by Obama and he is still not closing the deal on the states Democrats need in the general election.

I am asking that all Democrats think about who can win against McCain. It's not Obama. Trust me. President Clinton and Senator Clinton try to tell voters, but instead of listening to their truths, the Obama supporters are making a joke about her trying to stay in.

Obama doesn't have a clue what's going on. The Clintons do.
Trust me. I have seen many elections. Get over Obama and hope he learns from this experience. Support Hillary or the Republicans will win this election. Check the electoral map and McCain has this election in his pocket. Hands down.

I don't ' feel that we are scared. It is just not right to give her votes when Obama's name was not even on the ballot. I can't understand how anybody can say this is fair. With FL his name was there so, I agree count there votes, even th he did not camgaing there. But MICHIGAN NO WAY. I just don't like the fact that the Clinton's make wrong into right. I am a woman and I use to like Hillary, but her and her husband don't know right from worng. When she lie it is consider as MISPOKE. The news wait on Obamas words like a dog wating for crambs to fall from the table just so they can turn his words into a meaning that would have a totally different meaning then he intended. But with Hillary they clean up quickly. Haillary voted just like obama concerning FL and MI now she need the votes and counting them saying she has more votes then Obama. If she has more with Fl then good for her. JUST DON'T CHEAT or wish somebody did to win. Also, I believe she said just what was in her heart about staying in the race. WISHING THAT SOMETHING BAD HAPPEN TO OBAMA SO SHE CAN WIN.

I know a lot of people in MI that did not vote because it was not supposed to matter. I voted but I voted non-committed because Barack was not on the ballot. I only knew to do that becuase I called Obama's campaign and asked if I was supposed to do a write in or a non-committed. I was told that non-commited were the only one's counted, not write-in's. I did a couple more follow ups and was told the same thing at the state level.

I sure like to be included in November so I say do a 50/50 split or a re-vote. In either case I don't blame Hillary, Barack, or the DNC - MI broke the rules, their the one's to blame.

Now that Hillary is lossing to wants to change all the calculations, include this, exclude that, race, sexism, conspircies, death threats.....jezze.....

The Clinton's are nuts....plain and simple! They both need to be committed to a mental institution!

OBAMA 08 & 12!

[and no Clinton on the ticket either!]

Florida Voters no matter what way the May 31 meeting comes out you will find a way to mess up AGAIN. Your votes should not count for what you allowed to happen during the Bush / Gore election. Any candidate better know up front, FLORIDA is anybodys game.

March if you want to…vote for McCain if you want to. It is certainly your legal right. That of course would be the SAME legal rights that our democracy granted you; the same right that allows for fair and honest elections. That would NOT be a monarchy or dictatorship that allows the rules of an election to be changed to benefit one person over another. That would NOT be a governing body of any kind who allows 2 states preferential treatment over 48 others when those 2 states didn't follow the established and agreed upon rules.

Stay bittter, angry and make excuses for your queen all summer if you want to. I have better plans for my summer than to listen to Hillary or Bill rant on TV about some conspiracy or listen to bitter angry women complain about sexism. I think your queen has done a great disservice to women every where with her actions

This is another reason I hate Hillary. Instead of taking the high road and acting responsible she constantly instigates. There she was last week telling a crowd in Florida "they did nothing wrong". I hope the DNC throws her and that idiot husband out for good. Let them go and join the republicans or start their own party who cares! She has and will always be one anyway. I think her and her "buddy" John Insane would make a good pair and for all I care take her small circle of supporters with her. Good riddance. The DNC has enough problems without having to deal with those low-life Clintons.

Rules are Rules:

1. Hillary agreed and signed a statement that FL & MI didn't count.
2. Hillary said they don't matter, anyway.
3. Hilary said the race will be over in February.
4. Hillary has run an aweful campaign.
5. Hillary underestimated her opponent.
6. Hillary can't change the rules and move the goal post.
7. Hillary is desperate and will do anything to get FL & MI counted.
8. Hillary now wants to disinfranchise the Caucus Voters.
9. Hillary is a nasty, horrible, dishonest, and untrustworthy, opponent.
10.The lady with the pants suit it's time to start singing. Just Go Home.
11. And the winner is the people of the U.S.A.
YES WE CAN - WHEN WE UNITE.

Democrats in Florida are like whip cream on the Republicans' cake. While they are busy stirring up resentement within the party the Repubs are quietly stirring the pot - pscyhological warfare. Yes, they say, of course Hillary's voters should be bitter, very very bitter. Of course the Repubs say, and Hillary's bitter voters should vote for Senator John McCain and punish that bad Senator Barack Obama. And if they can't vote for Senator McCain, we'll Hillary's angry, vengeful, bitter voters should stay at home. And "who" wins and who "loses" in this scenario? John McCain and the Republican Party. The Democratic race is manipulated by Rush Limbaugh. FoxNews stirs the pot. Karl Rove, Mike Huckabee, Charlie Crist, they all say revote, recount, prolong, fight Hillary fight. Are any of them going to vote for Senator Clinton? Then why are they her new best friends. Come on, Democrats, smarten up! When Senator Obama becomes the nominee, unite and send Senator McCain into retirement. Yes, you can!

I really question Senator Clinton, having the popular vote. What she is doing is counting Florida and Michigan as 100% for her and then not counting at least 4 of the caucas states. If anyone picks and chooses which contest to count you could win anything. It is time that the DNC, step in and have this mess come to an end.

I would like to start by saying i am proud to be an American!I served in the united states army in the Iraq war for which i received two bronze stars for meritorious service, and many other awards.By being Americans we are without a doubt the leaders of the free world! With great power comes great responsibility and that include the words ethics and morales. Both Senator Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama agreed not to campaign in the states of Florida and Michigan, for holding its primary in violation of the DNC’s rule! Now that senator Clinton is loosing the primary she wants to include these states.what message is she trying to send to the American people?if you can't win fairly then cheat?Yes i am a democrat but this is not the conduct of a candidate that should hold the highest office in our country!Rules are put in place for a reason, and at the end of the day when we are stripped of everything that we possess. The only thing that remains is our word!keep your word senator Clinton and bow out gracefully.

Before Hillary didn't care about FL and MI being counted and she even sign a document agreeing to the rules. Now shes concerned with the delegates because she needs them, and she still won't get enough. Her and her supporters are whiners.

According to realclearpolitics.com, Obama leads in the Democratic Primary popular vote count by 458,000 votes. This is for those states that played by the rules. When you add in Florida, he is leading by 160,000 votes. Only when you add in Michigan, where he played by the rules and was not on the ballot does Hillary start to gain a lead of 164,000 votes. This doesn't include the Caucus states, which are difficult to count. The reality is Obama is the popular vote leader. Please go to http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_vote_count.html
to see for yourself.

It is quite fitting that the only answer that the Clintons have for losing is that there is a scandal of some sort behind every curtain. They have made the bed that they are sleeping in. I'll give you one hint: the hotter it gets, the worse it smells.

Diana Spencer, please go and read Eric's comment. He explains the issue quite well. Hillary is just peddling hypocrisy under the guise of "making every vote count". On the one hand she claims to lead the popular vote, but only if you conveniently neglect the count the caucus states, and only if you also do not credit Obama for the 40% of Michigan voters who voted for "not Hillary Clinton", and then she tries to talk as if she cares about disenfranchising voters.

After all this prolonged junk, the Democrats totally deserve to lose Florida and Michigan in the November election.

I have friends and family in both states, and they are definitely NOT happy campers because of being disenfranchised and then batted around like ping-pong balls.

McCain will probably carry both Florida and Michigan. Better than Obama.

This has nothing to do with either of the candidates. No one should ever make a determination that the votes of citizens will not count. Our right to vote is not a carrot...it is a right granted to all of us via our constitution. This whole Florida/Michigan thing was nothing but a political game in which voters were denied something that is guaranteed in our constitution. Shame on the Repubs, the Dems and the candidates who said that they would abide by this foolishness. Everyone should be in the streets screaming about this. If this is allowed, I ask what next will they be taking away from us?

Here is a statement by Terry McAuliffe when he was head of the DNC when Senator Levin of Michigan threatened to move the Michigan primary ahead of schedule against DNC rules:

"The head of the Democratic National Committee was having it out with Sen. Carl Levin because Michigan wanted to crash the rarefied club of early presidential primary states.

Move your primary too early, Terry McAuliffe warned, and Michigan will lose half its delegates to the 2004 Democratic convention.

"The closest they'll get to Boston will be watching it on television," McAuliffe vowed. "I will not let you break this entire nominating process for one state. The rules are the rules."

Bob Schieffer reminded him of this when McAuliffe was interviewed this past Sunday. McAuliffe did not answer by simply saying that the most the DNC could do is strip half of a delegation from a state. The DNC rules (which McAuliffe drew up) state that the DNC can take all of the delegates.

When will the silliness stop? Only when political power is not important.

Why do Americans always turn to the courts on almost anything, especially when the DNC, Obama and Clinton have said they want the delegates seated somehow. Why not wait until the DNC make thier decision which could only invalidate the lawsuit anyway yet again.
I have in other blogs constantly supported Seating the Michigan and Florida votes as that will if done fairly close this so called race out.
My guess is that at June 3rd Obama would need 40-50 more SD's out of 208 to win on all counts under the Dmocratic Party rules, unless of course you do and HRC which is:-
1) disenfranchise 40% of the michigan electorate and ignore Caucus states.
2) Believe as Bill Cinton does, that the SD's should ignore the voters, becuse he can predict now the outcome of the states democratically in favour of HRC will be won by Hilary. He is again in away disenfrnchising the people s right to vote and so would the SD's id they did that!! What rubbish.

Hodgson.

As a floridian, I really want to slap NickNas off the face of the map and every other person who keeps disrespecting my state and my right to vote. They are so freaking scared that their golden boy is going to lose this thing that they are directing their anger at us here in Florida. Grow up! We didn't do this, the republicans did. And any of you who call yourselves democrats ought to be ashamed because democracy means that we ALL get a say. As a matter of fact, we had a record turn out for that election and as a matter of fact I specifically remember seeing Obama ads and him giving speeches on television prior to the election.
And as a matter of fact, he won my predominantly black county by 3000 votes so stop saying he didn't have a fair chance here! he GOT BEAT! Thats right. Floridians don't want him. the majority don't anyway and he WON"T win here in November. I will personally wave a Mccain banner wearing a democratic party shirt just to show my dischord. The Good ole boys in the DNC have hamstrung hillary from the beginning and we the voter's of florida will not stand for the corruption in our party! I am disgusted with my party right now and will only vote democratic if Hillary is the nominee. Period.

"How do you ignore the fourth largest state in the nation and millions of Florida voters who exercised their right to vote?"

The real question is, how does the elected officials of the fourth largest state put its citizens in such a position?

This is unreal; let's just broke all laws and rules then file a lawsuit to have the decision to punish us overturned.

The citizens of Florida should have protested against breaking the rules in the first place. This sounds like a win by "any means necessary" effort by the Clinton campaign. It's amazing how people would cheer a such injustice taking place. To change the rules at the end of the game is nothing short of injustice. The superdelegates need to cast their votes behind the front -runner and let Clinton have the delegates of Florida. Since Obama is 206 delegates ahead of her, he will still win.

Hillary would not be ahead if Flordia votes were counted. The only way she would be ahead if they were to count Michigan where Obama was not on the ballot. Which by the way, Hillary was suppose to take her name off, but chose not to in case she fell behind. Or should I say, in the case of times like these.

As far as Bill Clinton talking about the media not respecting his wife, that's the biggest joke in history. They showed more respect for her than he has. where was his respect for his queen when he was staining Monica's dress in the oval office when the records shows Hillary was somewhere in the white house? Maybe he needs to make up to her by trying to have the nomination stolen for her.

Tired of Hillary, Bill and their quest to get back in the white house.

Diane Spencer
You say this country is not ready for a black President.
I have 2 sincere questions

Based "totally on skin color" and nothing else what qualifications to be President does a person with white skin have that a person with black skin does not have?

OR What qualifications does a man have that a woman doesn't have?

If it matters I am a white woman.

Because you did not follow the rules, you should not be seated. Because you did not follow the rules, your votes should not count.
The only way to resolve this if you wanted your votes to count was to hold another vote where all of the state knows when it being held. There were many Florida residents who were confused and many who did not vote because they thought it would not count. Hilary is not asking to have the vote redone. She wants them counted as they were cast when it held out of order. This would not give all of the Florida residents the opportunity to be heard. There are many Obama supporters in Florida. Do not count these votes. November will be here soon enough. Be fair to all Florida residents. Do not make exceptions for people who do not follow procedure. Be fair.

DNC and the superdelegates tried to talk with Hillary and reason with her campaign months ago after this incident. Before this happen, Hillary didn't care about the votes in Florida or Michigan because she thought she would be favor to win in Feb 5th. But when Obama won the 11 states victory, she panicked. That's when she realized she made a mistake in not being able to count the FL and MI votes. She agreed not to campaign in FL/MI. She signed documentation. Now she wants to cheat. Well, let DiMaio's case be heard. He's only one person versus 48 states. Those 48 states followed the rules and FL/MI didn't. He will not be able to convince 48 states DNC to reverse their decision. He can't reverse the will of voters in 33 states that Obama has won.

As far as Hillary Clinton claims she being treated...she brought all of this on herself. Diane Spencer you are a supporter for Obama. You should know all to well that Hillary Clinton ran against Obama is if were the GOP. No one told Hillary to make bold statement and discredit her fellow Dems partner Obama. She did that on her own will. She said misleading horrible things about Obama competitor and his supporters. She failed to run a campaign financial and sound. She lost this race...its over and done. I voted for Obama as a true Democrat and if the shoe was on the other foot, I would support and stand by my Democrat nominee no matter what.

This mess is very sad for the Democratic party. It is a shameful example for the next generation to observe. You break the rules, scream loud enough in the streets, and get your own way. It is a sad day for democracy. I trust the DNC will not be swayed by dishonorable, dishonest, hyped up nonsense.

ERIC,

It is not rocket science, at that time she thought that she was invincible, now she is losing, so guess what? it is time for flip flopping again!

But Eric, you have missed a most important point. Why are Hillary's Supporters so willing to DISENFRANCHIAS THE PEOPLE WHO DID NOT VOTE, BECAUSE THEY KNEW THAT THE VOTE WAS ILLEGAL?

To me this is the uttermost despicable issue that no one seems to be addressing. These people followed the rules and now THEY ARE BEING PUNISHED IN THE WORST WAY, BECAUSE ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS FIGHTING FOR THEM.

I know that this probably won't get posted but I don't understand how peoples votes in florida and michigan may not be counted. Hilliary probably thought that she would win so these two state would have counted the way they voted. She is not going to win the nomination so she wants these votes to be count which they should have. I can't believe that some of Obama's supporters are so rude if they are so sure of him they why give Hilliary so much credit by being so rude. They appear like they are afraid and they have to blame Hilliary. Obama would do the same if he was in Hilliary place. My question is why doesn't the superdelegates give Obama the number he need to win. Then this would be over. Is it because the superdelegates doesn't believe he can deliver the white house. Maybe he should have want to all the states like hilliary did. But what do I know.

All you Obama fans do understand that, if he gets the nomination, he will need the voters of Florida and MIchigan in order to win the general election, right? He's already worked pretty hard to block any chance for revotes in Florida and Michigan. Shouldn't he be smart enough and want a Democrat to win in the fall enough to be fighting just as hard as Hillary Clinton to get every single one of the votes cast in Florida and MIchigan honored by the Democratic Party, regardless of how reinstating their delegates might affect the outcome of the nomination process?

Or are you saying that, after he blew off West Virginia and Kentucky, he can afford to blow off more key swing states and still win the general election?

Or are you saying that you all would rather see McCain as President than Hillary Clinton?

What is the problem? Honor the votes that were cast in Michigan and Florida.

And, btw, stop disrespecting HIllary and her supporters. First, she has worked hard for way too many years not to deserve your respect. And second, if Obama gets the nomination, he's going to need all the help that he can get from her and from as many of her supporters as possible.

HILLARY CLINTON '08

Diane Spencer

After reading your comment, I seriously doubt that you voted for Obama. If you have so many doubts now, you had them the. What don't you get? Florida is the reason why George Bush is the current president. This state has been at the crux of voting irregularities for as long as I can remember. The time for Floridians to protest was when their lawmakers were seeking to throw this kink in the election process and vote early. When Hillary Clinton thought she was going to win she was alright with the process and the rule to punish FL and MI. Yes their delegates should be honored, but not used by the Clinton's personal gain. The rules are made to keep order in this process. If Barack Obama was in the same position as Hillary Clinton, I don't believe that all of these people who are screaming and whining in the blog rooms would be saying the same thing. And, for HRC to think that the MI delegates should somehow be delivered to her when Obama's name was not on the ballot is utterly absurd. She is suffering from Traumatic Stress Disorder ( not Post Traumatic Stress Disorder yet). But that too should come soon. And if this were not the Clintons would this matter be given the same amount of attention. Prior to SC I was a Hillary supporter. But after this long process and a look into her character, I am a staunch Obama supporter. And, I sincerely hope that there are millions of voters that will take your place as you straddle the fence on making a choice between what is right and wrong.

Dear Reasonable Persons,

Hillary was willing to disenfranchise the voters in FL & MI in the beginning by signing the agreement. Hillary was even recorded saying that the votes would not count, but of course, that was when she was winning. If Hillary were to tell the truth, her fight now is not about the voter, it's about her making history.
I am an Obama supporter. However, if the shoe was on the other foot, I would expect Obama to show some integrity and not complain about something that he initiated. If Hillary wants to stay in the race until the end, thats fine with me, but don't make it seem like it's Obama's fault that this situation is occurring.

Breanna (or other Hillary supporters planning to vote for McCain, Barr, Nader, etc., if Hillary fails to get the nomination),

Can you rationally explain to me how that would make ANY sense in terms of reversing Bush policies? Your own candidate is saying that she wants all Democrats to unite behind the nominee, whether it is Clinton or Obama. Why do you disagree with your candidate on this point?

Texas Whitey for Obama-
You are so dead wrong and obviously mis-informed. This St. Louis Black Man knows for certain that this entire presidential race was a JOKE and not democratic to say the least.

The DNC and the MAD and rabid Obama supporters did everything they could to twist and steal this election. It's a disgrace and it shows the cult style of Obama the LEADER.

You are WRONG - whether your leader ends up winning the presidency or not you are wrong. This will not be forgotten.

McCain '08 for Clinton '12
THE MOVEMENT IS ON... TO STOP THE CHEATERS AND TO TEACH A LESSON THAT YOU CAN'T ROB THE GOOD AMERICANS.

Texas woman for Obama: Regardless of how this race is won, you should be ashamed of yourself for NOT identifying the blatant sexism abound in this campaign. Whether she was the best candidate or not, if Hillary was black and the same comments were made about her HAIR, her pantsuits or any other female related or desciptive term, not only would they be screaming sexism at the top of their lungs, they would also be screaming racism from the mountain tops. Sexism affects ALL women and I don't believe for a moment that Obama supports that. The media in this country tore women to shreds in their opinions and comments and set us back 50 years in the comments they made about her. This is not an Obama moment and don't try to denigrate him by making it about Obama vs. Hillary.

Dear Ms. Spencer, The rules, THE RULES, are that the candidate that receives the MOST DELEGATES wins the nomination. Even if Fla. & Mi. votes are counted as they were cast, Clinton will still be behind in DELEGATES. That makes Obama the WINNER!!! We got stuck with Bush because of the electoral college RULES when Gore won the popular vote. So what is the answer to this problem? Change the RULES!!! In the meantime we have to live by the rules as they hve been written and accepted by BOTH parties. As far as your last statement... this country IS ready for a black President, as opposed to a lying, Back stabbing, do anything, say anything phony in the person of Hillary Clinton!!!

Hillary supporters:

"lose" is a verb. "loser" is a noun. They mean to "lose" (cannot find) or one who lost. Looser means to be less tight than, ie, I "lost" some weight and now my pants are "looser". Get it?

Stop blogging and go to school, or something.

Heya Texas W/Woman for Obama did you happen to read in the artical that South Carolina and Nevada were allowed to hold their primaries early? Or did the kool-aid you supporters drink make you all blind too? Oh! wait.............................................. those 2 states benefited Obama seems fair enough yup. Also seems odd why Obama was even in Florida courting votes last week where in his campaign that state doesn't exist! Or as far as I know their votes won't count for the General election.

I am not religious or anything but if there is force (s) universe, god, buddha, jesus, jehova, mother earth, father sun, deity, deities or any other power under the sun and covering the universe,

please i implode you, put an end to this mess and please close this race, send the clintos and their rages to do some good for the earth, to plant trees (not to talk to people _ they are toxic, poisonous,)..

please............... we want to be here past 2012, and we want to be here in a world of peace, honesty, fairness, balance, chances and choices for all of us... not just the queen, king and princess clinton and their elitist circle..
please .............. let us all come together and send a strong message to the last US dynasty, and tyrants. ..so that they may go away for good...

three things. first, florida and michigan broke the rules and should suffer the consequences. second, clinton should finish out the primaries because its her political right. but she should stop blaming obama for exploiting her serious blunders. she was originally the frontrunner and has now fallen behind because of mis-management of her campaign. it's insulting to women everywhere that she is now using the gender card to win. third, don't allow the media to turn us (democrats, blacks&whites) against one another. remember, however becomes the president will have a team of advisers to help run the country. this notion that any of these candidates have all the knowledge, experience and judgement necessary to run the country is totally ludacrus.
