McCain is launching an ad in two key swing states.

(CNN) - John McCain is launching a television ad in the crucial swing states of Michigan and Pennsylvania Wednesday, the latest sign the Arizona senator is gearing up his general election campaign.

The ad, called "Accountable," previously ran in Iowa and promotes the Arizona senator's pledge to lower taxes, make healthcare more affordable, and solve the country's energy problems.

McCain's decision to extend the ad into the more expensive media markets of Michigan and Pennsylvania is the Arizona senator's first shot of the general election campaign, said Evan Tracey of TNS Media Intelligence/Campaign Media Analysis Group.

"The fact that he's expanding into these states is a clear signal that both the general election has begun and fundraising has fattened his campaign accounts," Tracey said.

The McCain campaign is also looking to capitalize on Obama's 9 point primary defeat in Pennsylvania and the little attention the Illinois senator has so far devoted to Michigan. (Obama removed his name from the primary ballot there after the state violated party rules by holding its contest early.)

"What you're seeing is McCain turning up the volume in states that Hillary Clinton won, and clearly trying to capitalize on any negative momentum for Obama in those places," Tracey also said.

Senator McCain, I have one question for you. If you knew what you know now about WMD would you have gone to war with Irag. Do not be candid please Senator.

TonyNJHC   May 27th, 2008 4:33 pm ET

Certain individuals, those I find to be unpatriotic, attack Mr. McCain over this, over that, or something else. They have even attacked this brave man who served his country, as he possess the two qualities the unpatriotic abhor, those being Distinction & Courage. So all you unpatriotic ingrates, you are now on NOTICE! A fellow patriotic businessman is going to do some major stock and bond purchasing affecting the element aluminum. Very soon, you will find extreme difficulty in you attempts in purchasing your all important "tin hats". Yes, you have been using aluminum, as real tin would cost you a small fortune. Soon, no more "tin hats"! What will happen then? I'm glad I'm not in your place, and I would be proud to have Mr. McCain as my President, a President who knows that war is hell. Knowing that, I believe he is unlikely to keep us in war, nor does he have plans to send our troops to any other new wars. God Bless this Great Man! Amen To That!!!

McCain will be defeated in November. Any working man voting for a Republican, is about like a chicken voting for col Sanders !! 4 more years of Bush policies, the rich get richer and you know the rest of the story !!

Anyone who has eyes to see can find an enormous amount of historical evidence of Sen McCain's accomplishments in the military as well as in the government service. Anyone with eyes to see cannot find anything Obamanation has succeeded at. Has nothing for all his early years of service to the blacks of Illinois except "present". Hasn't sponsored one bill since being in the senate; hasn't even had one meeting of his committee. Are you people without eyes, brains?

Generation X   May 27th, 2008 3:55 pm ET

MD- Why should he when he didn't vote for the Iraq war from day 1? So now it is Obama's responsiblity to visit a war zone when he is campaigning? How about this....lets end the war and save $2 billion a week and start spending that money on you and me and our grandchildren? Or better yet lets STOP the war for ONE WEEK so that McCain can support Obama's GI Bill ($2 billion) and provide our soldiers that risked their lives, an education? JUST ONE WEEK!

Hillary is the ONLY democratic candidate who can bring out the best in the Republicans.

Hillary is like "viagra" to the Republicans, they really need her to get excited. I think the Democrats will help the impotent Republicans (from the problems of Bush) by giving them Hillary as the Democratic VP!!! What do yo think? I await your comments- Thank you.

Don't worry McBush, Democrats too will capitalize on all the negative momentum across the entire U.S. against the Republican warmongers and political panders (you, Bush and your other crazy Republicats who are sinking the U.S. to the ground).

I can't wait until the general election and see the face of McShame when his insane war tactics are put to an end.

America, Stand Up!!

Hi I am John McCain.. and I approve this message.

Basically I will keep our troops in Iraq forever and continue the winning policies of George W Bush. I will cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations who truly deserve it.

Average Americans.."your on your own"

R.I.F.   May 27th, 2008 3:13 pm ET

He wants to make permenant the Bush tax cuts that he once opposed. Those cuts really only help the wealthy and actually harm the not so wealthy because it leads to programs having to be cut and the such. This from the man who says that the GI Bill is too "expensive' . Guess it would be too much to ask for rich people to pay their fair share in taxes and give some of that back to the people who help protect our nation and are not as forrtunate. Can't wait for those deabtes.

If you want more jobs to continue to get shipped overseas...Vote McCain.
If you want to see more soldiers come home in body bags....Vote McCain.
If you want tax dollars that could be going to much needed domestic programs but instead being used to fight a stupid war in Iraq....Vote McCain
If you want your President more concerned about gay marriage than how to provide affordable healthcare coverage for everyone....Vote McCain
If you are a backwards hick racist who can't vote for a black man...Vote McCain
If you are not willing to take the time to research the candidates and realize that the Republicans have ruined this country...Vote McCain

...But, if you are finally ready to get away from the disaster known as the Bush Presidency and want to start seeing some real change....

Vote Obama 08/12

I have to agree with jay....if all of the Hillary supporters think she is the answer to all of our problems, PLEASE COME TO NY STATE. See for yourself what she REALLY does. She says she proudly holds the seat of RFK?? When does she intend to live up to the promises she made here? Or did she just use us to get back to the White House? When she loses this nomination, would some of her most adament supporters ask her to come to YOUR STATE instead? We New Yorkers would appreciate it!!!

Ulysses   May 27th, 2008 3:01 pm ET

If a vote for none of the above was on the presidential ballot I would use that button and I would recommend that the rest of the us voting population vote that way as well. Too many intrest groups control agendas.

Mr. McBUSH.... you better save your money, you're going to need every penny because Sen. Obama is gonna EAT you alive Mr. War Monger!! I can't wait to see you go head on with Sen. Obama without Mr. Lieberman cleaning up after your repeated blunders. Does Mr. Lieberman also carry your diaper bag around with pull-ups for you too?

Your last speech where you said "I" will NEVER surrender"...
Who is this I? YOU are not dying in a war Mr. McBush, YOU voted YES for this WAR Mr. McBUSH.... it's NOT about you Mr. McBUSH... What's with this I will never surrender rubbish?? NO one is asking YOU to surrender you old white-haired lunatic. YOU have the audacity to OPPOSE the GI Bill, you selfish piece of crap!!! Our military members should GET THE BEST MEDICAL AND EDUCATION BENEFITS MONEY CAN BUY!! THEY DESERVE EVERY PENNY AFTER HAVING PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE FOR YOUR STUPID AND IGNORANT BUSH-McCAIN WAR!!! You're becoming a disgrace to his country when you sit up here and oppose a benefit for our military men and women.

We ARE going to bring our young men and women home AND we DON'T NEED YOU TO DO IT!! We are not going to keep them there for 100+ years you idiot!!

This whole "I" things just proves how ignorant and crooked your so-called "straight talk express" is Mr. McBUSH. Your straight talk is nothing but garbage.

Save it, Americans are NOT going to allow you the pleasure of the White House, not this time, NOT ever!!!

How can you sleep at night?

You said you thought it was "too generous" to Veterans????
You have become so out of touch it is pathetic Mr. McCain!

You have betrayed the Veterans, and we will not forget.
Don't hide behind the flag and your service, we see beyond that....you are nothing but a R.E.M.F. in my eyes!

True   May 27th, 2008 2:54 pm ET

Yes, spend money on ads and not on our vets! A real patriot that guy McCaine is. We can spend 2 Billion dollars a week in Iraq, but when it comes to spending the same amount on our Veterans for 4 years of college, John decides to deny them benefits for education.

How will he treat our us Americans? I guess we can take a backseat too to his Corporations, Special interests and Lobbyists.

NO-NO NOT YET OR EVER   May 27th, 2008 2:53 pm ET

You'd have to live under a rock the size of the US to actually think that McCain is a good, secure vote – given what our country has been through with George Bush. Thousands have died and we are trillions in debt for an undefined 'war' for which there can never be a 'Mission Accomplished' victory. Our economy is literally on the brink of disaster. And this man is asking for your vote to do more of the same?????

Agnostic Democrat   May 27th, 2008 2:48 pm ET

He still doesn't get it , and it's been how many years now? Isn't George Bush's 23% approval rating enough to convince him otherwise?

Ari   May 27th, 2008 2:47 pm ET

Hahaha, James at 12:31 said "If you had Obama on video saying in 2000 that he would be too inexperienced in 2008, it would have gotten more air-time than Rev. Wright. It would have been in constant rotation."

Check your facts, James. Obama said in 2005 when he was running for the Senate that he wouldn't run for President in 2008 because he'd be too inexperienced. They have it on video. Its not in constant rotation, but you'd better believe the Republicans will be running ads with it once Hillary is out of the way.

It's really hard to sell old age, senility, flip flopping and pandering to the public. McBush is going to find out he is tied to Bush and is going to be viewed as a warmonger.

McCain is Traumatized   May 27th, 2008 2:33 pm ET

Whenever it comes up that John McCain was a POW for 5 years, it's always in a positive light – as though it somehow gives him better qualifications.

The fact of the matter that someone who was tortured and held captive for 5 years is most likely extremely traumatized and unstable.

His famous 'temper' comes out every now and again, although the stories have been kept under the radar pretty well.

It sucks that he became a POW while serving our country, but the bottom line is that that type of mental and physical trauma messes someone up for life. I would not want him responsible for our military actions. He's unstable and highly reactionary.

McIdiot, hand in hand with Bush, the Saudis stuffing cash in there back pockets. How many more of our young will die so the Gop can get more rich. Bush/McSame should be tried for war profiteering. We will never let the GOP run this country again, if if we have to have an Arizona tea party. McCain is evil, just like Gearge Bush and Dick Cheney. All Republicans should be rounded up and sent to Iraq to serve. No more war mongering. Down with Republicans.

Question for Obama supporters. Obama said that he would meet with Iran and North Korea without preconditions, yet Obama has yet to meet with Gen. Petreaus or even visit Iraq.

Can one of you explain why Obama is so willing to meet our enemy once he is elected, yet won' t meet our soldiers while he is still a lowly Senator?

G Margate, FL   May 27th, 2008 2:09 pm ET

I am not sure who is older Sen John McCain or Robert Byrd because McCain looks like he is 100 yrs old and He needs to get his old behind on the battle field to get shot at as the brave young men and women in the military

Karen P   May 27th, 2008 2:08 pm ET

So, just like Hillary, he can't stand on his own merits...has to attack someone else to gain votes. Sad. The old politics is so boring and outdated.

McCain forgets about one important block of voters. All the younger crowd who are excited about elections and voting. The media says they never voted much before. Well this is NOW and they have a good reason to vote...they're hopeful, inspired, knowledgeable, excited. I applaud these new voters this year.

We need some "new" blood in the White House. Yes, I'm white, female, midwestern, hard-working, 58, educated...and I say it's time for Obama. He will pick a good Cabinet and has the ability to inspire a Congress that has been sitting on its tushes for too many years now.

John in PA   May 27th, 2008 2:07 pm ET

In case the 'bots haven't figured this out yet, McCain is doing exactly what Hillary predicted, going after Obama (and probably going to beat him) in those crucial swing states that she would win. McCain is not stupid. It's all about the electoral votes, and wins in PA and MI (which would not happen against Hillary) should make it an easy win for him.

Tony   May 27th, 2008 2:07 pm ET

Too late Mc"Bush". Your ideas are as old as you are!

Vote Democrat!

Alice in Florida   May 27th, 2008 2:03 pm ET

McCain's got my vote if Obama is the Democratic nominee. Obama can suck up to Florida voters all he likes now, but we won't forget that he blocked a revote and thereby disenfranchised us back when our votes would have counted. I hope Florida is the state that causes him to lose in November. I won't write in Hillary though I'd like to. I'll vote McCain just to make sure my vote against Obama counts.

Jaybrown NY/NJ   May 27th, 2008 2:00 pm ET

McCain and the rest of the republicans think they are an authority of Foreign policy. We have seen where all their experience has taken us. We are not respected by others around the world. We went to war without consent from the UN or other countries. The war is not doing well and there is no end in sight. Our dollar is weak and we are begging the Saudies to lower the price of oil and they flat out said no. We will not talk to any of our enemies without them making a ton of apologies and agreeing to a laundry list of conditions that we set. These countries have nothing but time on their hands. They don't care how long a fight, grudge or hard feelings last. But despite how bad we look in the eyes of the world, or how much stronger out enemies are becoming, the republicans in the house are an authority of foreign policy. They have the most experience. FAILED EXPERIENCE. Grant it Obama may not have the foreign policy experience that some may have. Not everyone running for President has the experience in ever little aspect of Presidency. That's why they have good advisers. I believe Barack Obama is going to be just fine. I look forward to the arrogance of the United States being lifted and we are once again very respected. I think McCain is going to be more of the same.

jimmy velman   May 27th, 2008 2:00 pm ET

HAS ANYONE ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY TALKED ABOUT A BIPARTISAN TICKET? MCCAIN AND A DEMOCRAT FOR HIS VP RUNNINGMATE.? THIS WOULD SOLVE MCCAIN'S FINDRAISING PROBLEMS AND WOULD ALSO BRING ABOUT HIS ELECTION TO THE PRESIDENCY...THAT DEPENDS ON THE OUTCOME OF THE DEMS FINAL RESULTS WITH OBAMA BEING THE NOMINEE.
OBAMA HAS NOT INDICATED HIS CHOICE OF HILLARY AS HIS VP RUNNING MATE AND MAY NOT ASK HILLARY TO BE ON HIS TICKET.
HILLARY COULD THEN BE "AVAILABLE" TO BE A BIPARTISAN CANDIDATE AS VP TO MCCAIN..

Buy all the time you want McCain. Once Hillary finally takes the hint and the Democratic nomination is wrapped up by Obama, your 'support' will drop like a rock.

As soon as the American peoples' focus is put on McCain and we see some debates, the American people will see how out of touch McCain is and how feeble-minded and senile he is.

Obama WILL be the next president. Anyone who thinks otherwise is quite delusional or not too bright.

Rick FL   May 27th, 2008 1:31 pm ET

How does McCain propose to lower those taxes–by borrowing more money from China? The Democratic candidates will lower taxes by re-distributing Bush's irresponsible tax cuts for the wealthiest 1-2% (during a time of nonetheless) to Americans making under $75K, who actually need relief. Does McCain not remember that he was against Bush's tax cuts before he flip-flopped to support it for the Republican nomination? Our country has experienced record-breaking deficits under the Bush (now McCain) plan. We need to return to pay as you go rules and fiscal responsibility.

I thought this would be a good storyline to add to the boiling pot debacle of Florida and MI's delegates. What about finding out if Obama's campaign has spoken to Edwards Florida delegates about coming over to his side. Albeit, Edwards got 40% of the vote in FL but every little bit helps. I think it would be a surprise for Hill's campaign if the DNC gave her her %age of Florida's delegates but said Obama gets his and Edwards since Edwards endorsed him and if Edwards' delegates unananimously agreed to this. Unfortunately, Edwards didn't make a good showing in MI so he couldn't help Obama (Uncommitted) there.

McCain, for everybody to see on UTube, in public, on stage, was calling Hagee and Parsley, "close family friends" "great American leaders" "spiritual guides" someone "who should do the speaking" for his campaign.
When McCain denounced these religious leaders, did he renounce his own "statements"?
Oh, I know what you will say. He never knew of these comments; so how can you trust him as military strategist? Did he forget to hire a researcher? All of these comments were public knowledge when he was chasing the endorsements.
Too bad McCain's good reason for opposing Veteran aid and Huckabee's revenue generating tax scheme gets lost in 2 party, partisan politics!
Is it true MCCain is opposed to the way it will 'pad' the pockets of many bureaucrats? Also, the 'Huckabee' tax plan, which has been kicked around for decades raises money from sales. It eliminates the tax dodges, underground economy, and criminals avoiding paying tax, unless they want to stop 'purchasing'. It is a path out of the economic ditch. All the IRS agents can be retrained as medicare specialists, which could be paid from the extra money raised!

Yet, more examples of many Obamite's mentality on display. Read the comments above people. Do you see a pattern here? This is the kind of stuff you hear in a highschool cafeteria. How can any traditional Democrat support a movement with such hate and vile?

Michelle   May 27th, 2008 12:59 pm ET

To the Florida and Michigan Voters:

Remember it was the your state's REPUBLICAN party that agreed to break the rules and set your primary dates early. Don't blame the Democratic Party....blame your republican party your state.

Clinton or Obama '08!!!!

Franky   May 27th, 2008 12:59 pm ET

The problem with the ads........he has to get his peeps(Reps) already set up already!! I mean, we all know the most infamous say that Hillary supporters and my boy's supporters have that if one of them is not their nominee, then they'll vote for McCain. Let me guess, let me guess, they will, huh? Well, who knew they shared some common goals among each other..........in my opinion, I'll let them learn the hard way. I have no problem letting people learn the hard way......that's life.

bobQ   May 27th, 2008 12:58 pm ET

Now you are attacking Mccain using the same language and same old sayings as you attacked Hillary. what book are you reading? its like you are just copy paste your blog from the same book, cut Hillary's name out, paste Macain's name in. it's getting old.

Cathy   May 27th, 2008 12:56 pm ET

McCain stand for a never ending a war we should never have started, overturning Roe v. Wade with Justice appointments, doing nothing with the economy or mortgage crisis, and the sinker....complete Bush mentality.

SUPPORTING THE DEMOCRATS 110%

Mcshame no one care about you you will not win because you are a Republican that is coming with the same Ideas as the Current President which is nothing Mccain i will make sure you lose in November

michigan, and pennsylvania, union jobs. republicans allowed the trade deals to continue, and the union jobs went with them. we will see if these people will remember come november.

If Obama steals the nomination, I'll be on board with you very soon John.

Meanwhile, Keep fighting 4 us Hillary

John Smith   May 27th, 2008 12:53 pm ET

Unless I am brain-dead, but if Hillary cannot even beat this newcomer – Obama, how can Hillary beat McCain and the Republican machine?

It is good to be a fighter, yet another one to be a "clean" fighter.

The argument about "experience" reminds me that Hillary supporters are still in the "third world" where only the experienced and the elderly rule.

American is the land of "opportunity", not experience. If we cannot give this generation the "opportunity" to have the needed experience, then what will the Future World hold for this nation?

karen   May 27th, 2008 12:53 pm ET

I live in AZ and you can NOT trust a thing McCain says or does. He flip-flops worse than a fish!!!! What till we get a debut between Obama and McCain. McCain will sound like he never got out of high school!!!!
AND do not trust a thing McCain says–he's worse than Bush!!! Remember why we got into Iraq? Lies, lies and more lies!!!! AND I do not want anyone President who has "Washington" experience!!! I want someone who is new, young and fresh and is NOT tied to lobbiest or corporate executives!!! AND I'm 64 years old. Also, McCain is way to old!!!! He should have retired about 8 years ago!!!!

Sarah L., Fayetteville, AR   May 27th, 2008 12:50 pm ET

Hillary should look at these ads and realize what she is doing to her own party. Does she care anything at all about the Democratic platform? If she did, she wouldn't continue making arguments against Obama that the Republicans can capitalize on. She wouldn't continue to drive a wedge between members of her own party.

Natalie   May 27th, 2008 12:50 pm ET

Obama/Clinton '08!!!! Being a prisoner of war is honorable, but not a resume builder for the office of the President of the US. Buy all the airtime you want, you're not changing my mind!

Obama/Clinton '08/'12!!!

Robert   May 27th, 2008 12:50 pm ET

The longer the Democratic National Commitee waits on giving Obama the nod, the easier it will be for McCaine to capitalize in the states HRC ran her negative dirty campaign against Obama.

Randy M   May 27th, 2008 12:48 pm ET

It's a smart move by McCain to get in there while Dem's keep fighting. All the more reason to get the primary ended. Don't buy into the Clinton camp's reasoning that this is good for the party. It is not by a long shot. We Americans have the shortest memory. How can it be after nearly 8 years of lousy Republican leadership ( and I voted for Bush in 2000) that a Republican can even be on the radar against either Democrat?? I find it amazing.

And the topper is Democrats saying they'll vote for McCain if Hillary doesn't get the nod. That just blows me away. Cut off your noses to spite your face. Way to go Dem's, you people are something else!!!!

rumpusgoopus   May 27th, 2008 12:48 pm ET

And yet again we see why Clinton should have dropped out long ago.

MI voter   May 27th, 2008 12:47 pm ET

How can anyone with good conscience, support war? WHO CARES who runs these middle east countries? The farce that we are making them democracies is ridiculous... heck, we should be working on that here, where entire elections can be stolen.

Anyone who has lost a child in Iraq; anyone who has had their job go overseas; anyone struggling to buy gas and groceries and/or make the payment on the house KNOWS that they cannot afford 4 more years of Bush nor 4 years of Clinton corporate greed.

Get real. Free your mind from your petty and rigid thinking and open your eyes to the reality of how bad off America is.

Do you REALLY want to spend 1.3 billion per month on this war? How about we spend that money IN America?

Ilona Proud Canadian   May 27th, 2008 12:47 pm ET

How long ago was the above picture of John McCain taken.
Maybe ten years ago?

McCain/Bush would be the biggest disaster in the White House!

Clinton did not blow out Obama in Pa. There is still a chance for the Dems to do well in that state.

Steve in DC   May 27th, 2008 12:46 pm ET

AZM....

Obama is changing the electoral map by putting states into play that normally would go republican ie CO/VA/GA...so in the end Penn and and the states Hillary won arent as crucial as in past elections. Besides...whose to say Obama cant also win those states?

Go Obama 08

Nicole in NE   May 27th, 2008 12:43 pm ET

John McCain is NOT a moderate, for those of you telling yourself that, just so you can feel warm and fuzzy about voting for him in the fall......he sold himself to the conservatives awhile ago and sorry.....his policies follow Bush to a TEE now!

What a joke and what's really sad is how country is going to go down HORRIBLY if we vote the SAME policies in that got us in this mess! Open your eyes people.

I for one do not want to continue Bush's tax cuts for the wealthiest of Americans while the rest of us feel the pressure of not being able to buy gas, our jobs getting shipped overseas under NAFTA, millions of children in our OWN country suffering because we won't help them. Our defficet is out of control, how about that foreign policy that has left us at odds with the rest of the world? Gosh, let's send thousands more to die in Iraq for FAILED policy so "we can WIN" that would show them!

VOTE DEMOCRAT!

Nando, Florida   May 27th, 2008 12:43 pm ET

John McCain should air anti-Bush commercials because he's looking and smelling oh so much like Bush. All he needs now is a stupid smirk and the burning desire to screw almost EVERY Amercian and DA DA.. Bush III

Debby   May 27th, 2008 12:41 pm ET

Good for him and he should ask Sen. Clinton to help him. Lieberman can get the Jewish voter for McCain in Florida and Hillary can get the working white blue collars for McCain. I would bet I am not to far off if Obama doesn't offer her the VP spot. LOL

McSame should come out of the closet and just use his buddy, George. He knows he needs GW to raise money. Just admit it, buddy-up and make the rounds. Of course I will never vote for them, but that's just me.

Do your worst, stubborn Hillary lovers   May 27th, 2008 12:39 pm ET

DISCLAIMER: This is aimed at the stubborn and crazy supporters not the rational ones.

I just realized that it doesn't matter if you vote for McCain because:

1) There are independents, republican, and even other Hillary supporters that will vote for Obama

2) There are many new voters that signed up this year and will continue to do so and Obama has the advantage with newly registered voters

3) If by chance you manage to get McCain elected, Congress will have a veto proof majority this year as republicans are tossed out on their ears so you aren't hurting us, just Obama who hasn't done anything to you to deserve this, so good luck going to sleep at night knowing that you ruined this poor man's career out of spite.

A Dem in November   May 27th, 2008 12:39 pm ET

McSame is no moderate! You can't rewrite his entire political career. Just because over the past seven years he has disagreed 2 or 3 times with Bush doesn't make him a moderate!

Please regardless if we're a democrat for Hillary or Obama, none of us are that stupid!

Rachel   May 27th, 2008 12:38 pm ET

I wonder why being a POW – (Prisoner of War) gives you the audacity to think that you have more experience than the next person? Is this the only thing he has "experience" at or does this give him better judgement on the war?

If McCain lacks "experience" in other issues such as the economy, rising gas prices etc... will he need advisors just as well as Obama would if he is the next president?Just a hypothetical!

Obama will have a tough time in November if he is the nominee. When you lose Florida, Ohio the South and have to battle your brains out for Penn and Michigan you are in trouble.
I doubt many in Florida and Michigan will be excited about a nominee who did not want their votes to count in the spring.
McCain is the MAN!

james   May 27th, 2008 12:31 pm ET

You people at CNN should stop your unfair practices. Why isn't the video of John McSame were he intimates back in 2000 that he would be too old to run for president in 2008. If you had Obama on video saying in 2000 that he would be too inexperienced in 2008, it would have gotten more air-time than Rev. Wright. It would have been in constant rotation. Enough is enough. I cant wait to see the day when we the people hold you media outlets accountable for your unrepentant biases.

He can buy anything he wants but not the hearts & minds of people!!!

Keep it in mind   May 27th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

Let's see....the Republican Party has been a lap dog of big business for decades. Most recently, they have stood by as companies send jobs overseas, or lose their edge to overseas competition. They have stopped every healthcare plan cold. Even the one for small children's coverage. Our infrastructure is in such a mess that bridges are collapsing without warning. Our air traffic system is abysmal. Our protectionist agencies like the FDA and the EPA are handcuffed by regulations, and can't get anything meaninful done, even as simple as stopping lead-loaded toys from crossing our borders. And McCain has said he'll work to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Do you really want to vote for this guy? If you like the way things are going now, vote for him. If you want change, vote Democratic.

CW4Barak   May 27th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

This is even further justification to end this long, endless, drawn out democratic crawl to the Whitehouse. Obama is our nominee....lets all stop appeasing Billary and shut this thing down once and for all...Supers....please do your duty and move quickly to endorse Obama so we can start putting the party back together!
