Hillary, I love and admire you but let it go. Fair is fair. If you were in Obama's position, you would have declared the race over ages ago and look how he has not insisted that you leave. Let the love of the party not yourself be your guide. Chelsea will make a good candidate. Let it go. Democrats unite, the republicans are laughing!!!

I'm beginning to wonder, if Obama wasn't running and if there was another candidate running against Hillary and she was losing, would she still be squawking about counting the votes from FL or MI ?

The only fair way is for a primary re-vote in Michigan and Forida. Then there can be no argument as to a just resolution to this problem. Obviously, Obama would not want this as he would handily lose both states. If this does not occur, the DEM's will be fractured, which will result in John McCain becoming the next President.

It's so frickin' obvious. Clinton and her wealthy backers would rather see McCain win than Obama. And then she'll run again in 2012. The media won't say it but it's the truth. To all Democrats who think she's going to stand up for the "little guy" - it's a lie! Please stop supporting her - she's not what she seems! She's a closet Republican with a few socially liberal viewpoints. But when it hits our pockets - she's with the big rich boys! As a woman, I know she doesn't really stand for women's rights, especially not poor women. Did she speak up when her husband stopped welfare? NO!

Breaking News!!!!

Hillary Clinton has won the Michigan primary in the biggest landslide victory in all of American history!!!! She won by 100% of the vote!!!!! Oddly enough there are no Clinton supporters dancing in the streets celebrating the blowout victory, isn't that weird? At least they are proclaiming the great victory through their popular vote argument and they should be, their uncontested victory which they are just now realizing is important shows the values that all Americans care about!!!

To everyone who keeps blabbering on about electoral votes, please be advised that none are at stake in the primaries, nor are the primaries a true reflection of how the actual vote will go in the general election. There are to many variables this early in the process. It's good to be excited but keep in mind that the real battle only begins once each party nominates their individual candidates.

Momo, perhaps you can enlighten the rest of us as to how Obama's supporters blackmailed the superdelagetes into voting for him. I read about all kinds of claim against Obama, but I have yet to see the proof. As Dandy Don use to sing, "Turn out the lights, the party's over".

Sherrie ... support Clinton if you will, I don't. I despise her, not because of her campaign, but because I always did. I have always seen her as a manipulative megalomaniac who will do anything for power.

BUT.. my hatred of the candidate is not an indication of my feelings for her supporters, so please don't tkae it that way. I am sure I speak for a lot of the Obama crowd. Why do you - and other Hillary supporters and yes Obama supporters as well- take it so personally when someone doesnt agree with you on a candidate. In a democracy we are all entitled to our opinion - and it only works if we each respect the others' opinions.

Thus far the DNC has done the right thing. It has stuck to its guns on rules that all of the presidential candidates agreed to beforehand by signature in order to enter the race as Democratic Party candidates. When Florida and Michigan broke the rules, Obama, not the Clintons, has lived up to rules as a team playing Democratic Party candidate. Because they will lose the nomination if the rules are followed, the Clintons propose to break the rules. This is the nature of the Clintons-dishonest, cheats, and, with baggage like this, the Clintons are less likely to win the general election.

The sad thing is not just about seeing the once revered Clintons sink to such low depths of desperations but the fact that the rest of their supporters fail so see them now for what they are; arrongant and single minded in persuit of political power.

Really Mrs Clinton !

You think the stripping of Florida's and Michigan's delegates is like Mugabe's contempt for and attempts to circumnevigate the will of the voters. Mugabe at least had the decency of pretending he is following pre-laid down rules and not making up new ones because he was losing !

The DNC stand ashame too; they are wusses. They should declare that win or lose the White House, they would do it by the book. If Florida and Michigan want McCain in Nov' 08 let them have him. The DNc should have stated clearly that under no circumstances would they change rules for expediency of an easy White House. The Democratic Party should take the high road and cement the moral superiority that has always attracted more neutrals to them than to the GOP.

The Rules and Bylaws Committe never need have been converned if the DNC had stood firm and clearly on their position. All the so called undecided superdelegates are just milking the moment, gaining a relevance that will render a well meaning selection system a joke.

Protesting for what? To break the established law just to get back in to the White House? I think DNC must be asked to create a by law to support accomodate candidates who loses in the primaries.
I do not think in a lawful country like America Hilary will be allowed to break the law.

This effort is not solely organized by the Clinton Campaign. Floridademandsrepresentation.org (a nonpartisan group) is sending bus loads of people from Florida (obama and CLinton people) to protest our right to vote.

Sign up today and join the busloads of people.
Shame on both the CLinton and Obama people for making this a partisan effort!!

Can someone from the Hillary camp tell me why we as Obama supporters are being viewed negative because we played by the rules? Hillary herself stated that the votes will not count until she started to lose. Define for me the phrase, "stealing the nomination" means?

The Clintons thought they wrap this nomination up in Iowa. When they didn't there was not real plan B. The old style politics are out of style. You can wear white after labor day. Its time for a new generation of leaders.

One of the earlier posters had it exactly right: not a single Hillary Clinton supporter has ever been able to reconcile HRC's sudden "count-every-vote" protest with her previous stance on the MI/FL sanctions, or with her aides' previous actions and statements with re: breaking the DNC's rules. Just admit that you want your candidate to win at any cost and move on. How come we never hear Bill Clinton's old campaign line about standing up for people who "work hard and play by the rules"? It would be too hypocritical, that's why.

Anyone who thinks that Obama cannot win over McCain in the GE has not been paying any attention to McCain and the Republicans over the last few weeks. The Repugs are collectively and individually in such disarray I would feel sorry for them if I didn't understand all too well what a Republican White House, and possible Republican majority has done to this country!

Give me a break...Clinton is so "DONE" the fork came out on its own.

I understand why Hillary keeps going on in the campaign. She has fools like yourself supporting the ideal that she can still pull this thing off.

Practice this: Yes, President Obama Sir.

I would like to also quickly acknowledge the elephant sitting in Americas living room.....RACISM represents more of why Hillary would have a stronger chance in the general. However, remember, Hillary can only compete for those more Republican "racist sector" states that she won. She does not have the appeal to turn as many states or the turnout as Obama. Operation Chaos also helped her with some of her victories.Hillary should have done what John Edwards did during a debate when asked if people voted for him if they would not Hillary because she's a woman, or Barack because he's black. John Edwards immediately said "I wouldn't want their vote" "..and I would tell them that" ...Did Hillary take such a strong presidential stand when she had the chance?......Keep in mind, there are a lot more people whom do not vote in the primaries, but will in the general. With Hillaries highest negative rating for a politician in history....She really, is not better suited to win the general.

Seat them! Obama, along with Edwards and Richardson, VOLUNTARILY took his name off the MI ballot. It was political manuevering to prevent the seating of those delegates because everyone knew she was going to win MI. Otherwise there was no reason to take his name off the ballot--what could it hurt??? he would've had some votes because many voted uncommitted.

I don't know why it should surprise me that Obama's people will picket the DNC because counting every vote would be the right thing to do and obviously he doesn't want what is right and fair. The DNC is punishing the voters of MI & FL but it was not who picked the day to vote. Since when is it the American way to punish the wrong people. I am so tired of hearimng about them breaking the rules THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PRIMARY DAY. Obama did run ads in both MI & FL which is much more than Hillary did and she won by overwhelming majority. The DNC refers to being fair to the states that obeyed the rules but the voters didn't make the rules in those states either. I don't know anyone in any state that believees FL & MI should not be counted. THIS ALONE SHOULD SHOW THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY THAT OBAMA IS OUT FOR OBAMA AND NOT WHAT IS FAIR FOR THE VOTERS OF THIS COUNTRY. Obama should want win fair and square but instead he wants to win any way he can. He is afraid of a real vote. McCain will chew him up and spit him out. If he felt the Clinton machine was hard on him he has no idea what hre is really in for

The Democratic party of Florida says that they had no control and that it was their Governor and Congress that created this mess. What is overlooked is that these people were voted in office with the help of Democrats to represent them. They cannot now say they were not at all responsible for this mess. If this argument is used, then how can one say that the issue of gay rights should be left to the states- because the representatives of the state would be carrying out the wishes of its constituency.

Unlike most of you I am from Florida. I and many of my friends did not vote because it was made clear that it would not count. The Republicans, DNC, Hillary and all of the nominees agreed thats the way it would be. Why the sudden change?! Hillary did not stand up for me and my fellow Floridians before she started to lose. I find this to be extremely hipocritical. NOT WHAT I WANT IN MY LEADER!

To all so-called democrats who are saying "Hillary or McCain", guess what? YOUR CHOICE/VOTE HAVE VERY LONG TERM REPERCUTIONS... AND NONE OF THEM WILL BE TO YOUR FAVOR:

- When gas prices continue to rise.
- When jobs continue to disappear because of off-shoring
- When the number of killed or seriously injured soldiers continue to increase.
- When universal healthcare and global warming continue to be just a subject in some documentaries
- When the economy continues to benefit big business while the "hard working, white americans" continues to struggle

WELL, SMILE AND TAKE PRIDE IN THE MESS YOU SUPPORTED WITH YOUR SHORT-SIGHTED STANCE.

Btw, why don't you ask Hillary. "Why did you sign an agreeement that Michigan and Florida WOULD NOT COUNT?" She refuses to answer that question...

Janet Napolitano or Kathleen Sebelius for Vice President!

Here is a statement by Terry McAuliffe when he was head of the DNC (2004) when Senator Levin of Michigan threatened to move the Michigan primary ahead of schedule against DNC rules:

"The head of the Democratic National Committee was having it out with Sen. Carl Levin because Michigan wanted to crash the rarefied club of early presidential primary states.

Move your primary too early, Terry McAuliffe warned, and Michigan will lose half its delegates to the 2004 Democratic convention.

"The closest they'll get to Boston will be watching it on television," McAuliffe vowed. "I will not let you break this entire nominating process for one state. The rules are the rules."

Bob Schieffer reminded him of this when McAuliffe was interviewed this past Sunday. McAuliffe did not answer by simply saying that the most the DNC could do is strip half of a delegation from a state. The DNC rules (which McAuliffe drew up) state that the DNC can take all of the delegates.

HIs candidate did not adhere to the rules, so now he is using those wonderful legal skills to uphold the rule of law......

Didn't Bill Clinton just disparage the Obama campaign for lobbying superdelegates? What am I missing here?

Hillary is encouraging bloggers to lobby the DNC and its Rules Committee. As far as Superdelegates go, the Clintons are lobbying the Supers - David Hardt, President of Young Democrats of America "plans to vote for Mrs. Clinton after fielding calls from her, Mr. Clinton and Chelsea, who also visited him in Nevada. "It's always shocking when you get a call from someone like that." according to the NY Times website. So, is President Clinton criticizing his own wife's campaign?????

Based on all the angry verbal abuse (some racial) I got in Philly from Hillary supporters, I expect it is going to be a tense situation in DC.

If pro-Obama folks plan to be there, I hope they will put out a POSITIVE message that does NOT play into the Hillary-camp's spin that Obama is indifferent to the voters of MI and FL. The last thing we need is a counter-demo that ratchets up ill feelings within the Dem Party even more. Stay positive, like our candidate.

If, Obam does any thing to disenfranchize Michigan and Florida voters, he can not depend on those sates in the fall elections. He has already did what he could to prevent a re-vote in those states. HILLARY COULD END UP BEING A WRITE IN NOMINEE FOR PRESIDENT!

Okay, I was a die-hard Hillary supporter, but since it is clear Obama is going to win the nomination, I am beginning to support him, because I am all about party unity. However, Obama supporters, you guys have to stop bad-mouthing Hillary and her supporters. What you don't understand is that she has had a very strong base for a longer time than Obama has had his, and Obama needs her supporters to beat McCain. I have no problem with Obama and I think he would be an excellent president, but speaking as a Hillary supporter, I must admit that Obama supporters are so rude and ugly to Hillary supporters that if Obama loses in November I will feel a really sick pleasure because it would shut up the arrogance of all the Obama people. So keep bad-mouthing Hillary if you want to, but you have to understand that people doing that will be the reason Obama loses to McCain, and it is currently the reason so many Hillary supporters do not want to vote for Obama.

In a democracy each and every vote should be counted - end of story-no party and no candidate should ever establish or agree to rules that disenfranchise voters. What are the Obama supporters going to chant, "Don't count the vote." Jimmy Carter goes all over the world to make sure that elections are legitimate because votes are counted. Maybe he should make a trip to Fl and Mich. The votes should be counted as they are or new elections should be held. Anything else is undemocratic.

It was Obama that changed the rules - not Hillary. She did not campaign in either state, nor did she run any tv or radio ads. Obama is the one who took his name off of the ballot in Michigan. And he is the one who ran tv and radio ads in Florida prior to their primary. So all of you Obamabots - get your facts right and stop trying to screw Hillary out of any chance at a fair nomination process.

What I don't understand is why the Obama Camp thinks that the ONLY people that voted for , or support Clinton, were racist or poor and uneducated. I am not racist, not wealthy but not poor, and with a college degree. Statistics may show that a majority are, but when you are being condecending or attacking, you include us all.
