Get real Kim. if you saw that bill and that a person who enlists just once gets the same benefits that a carreer military person gets then I would hope more senators would have voted against it, too. There should be some kind of tiered structure to give more to those who enlist more than once.

Some people live for war. Nothing in the world is good unless a war is on or at least in the making. McCain is one of them. Bush & Cheney are the others.

I will not vote for this backstabber in November. Veterans deserve better...you would think a fellow Veteran would have our back not stab it.

This year I'm voting Democrat or Libertarian.

Sickening team – Bush and McCain. I hope they will soon be out of the national picture. All they stand for is WAR, WAR, WAR. Had enough America? McCain is no maverick; he is joined at the hip to Bush.

My gods...the Obamatards that these threads spawn are amazing. Stop drinking the coolaid.

McCain has apposed a majority of Bush's policies the last seven years, but as a fellow republican, why would he not accept help in fundraising?

McCain is no bush, not even close...examine his record. I'd say the same for Obama, but he doesn't have a record to examine. (just a bunch of 'present' votes)

Sure McCain, keep sending guys to war and then not give them a GI Bill to get a full education with.

Veterans have been betrayed by McCain!!!!

They were to dumb to unite against Bush in 200 and 2004. What makes you think they will unite against McCain who is very different and much than Bush. That is why they begged him to be on their ticket in 2004.
