(CNN) - John McCain was joined by President Bush at a fundraiser in Phoenix Tuesday night, but the two only appeared together in public for a moment on the airport tarmac.
The event reportedly raised an estimated $3 million.

Get real Kim. if you saw that bill and that a person who enlists just once gets the same benefits that a carreer military person gets then I would hope more senators would have voted against it, too. There should be some kind of tiered structure to give more to those who enlist more than once.
Some people live for war. Nothing in the world is good unless a war is on or at least in the making. McCain is one of them. Bush & Cheney are the others.

McCain has apposed a majority of Bush's policies the last seven years, but as a fellow republican, why would he not accept help in fundraising?

They were to dumb to unite against Bush in 200 and 2004. What makes you think they will unite against McCain who is very different and much than Bush. That is why they begged him to be on their ticket in 2004.
