So-caller Neutral, it's "Obama" (with an "a"), "White House" is two words, and Nancy Pelosi has done nothing more than state she will abide by the rules agreed upon by everyone (including the Clinton Campaign) and support the candidate who wins by those rules.

Hillary Clinton's desire to change those rules at the end of the game is highly dishonorable. Is it usual for you to sign contracts then violate them? We'll, that's exactly what Hillary Clinton is attempting to do.

Thankfully she's not going to be successful, other than the success she's had in destroying her reputation with millions of Americans.

I am glad that Scott Mclleland decided to write that book. I have not read the book but what have been reported that happen is in line with my thinking and belief. It appears that Bush has long thrown the rules away for doing things by his own bulling way. This point has been discussed among citizens who feel the same way. For those who ask why Scott Waited until now to make his reports known. One has to understand if you are among people who you understand how they think under the circumstances will not reveal your feelings on what you are observing, his life could be in danger. Remember he must take precaution going against the President of the U.S. He did right to quietly write what he knew and did not agree with the President of running the peoples house. It is to many back stabbers out everywhere. I don't understand the rational on people wanting Scott to step out and tell his story, he would have been ripped apart from all side of Republicans. There are perhaps other ways he could have went but he chose to tell all in a book. Now that he has congress should lanch an investigation and put him under oath. Many share and believe Scotts point of view. Go Scott I am hungry for someone to tell it like it is even in a book. THE PEOPLES HOUSE NEEDS REVIVING.

Here's what I would ask McLellan: 1. why is this book timed to coincide with the beginning of the general election campaign? Why doesn't that raise a presumption of electioneering and spin, much akin to the "PR" you became familiar with in your "spokesman" post? 2. Democrats now are saying you were a tool and Republicans are saying you are a traitor. Which one are you and why doesn't that disqualify you and discredit you from participating in any national debate? 3. How many friends do you still have left and how many do you think you will be able to buy with your 30 pieces of silver?

Teacher -

You're beyond crazy. Hillary knows full well she made a huge, strategic mistake in underestimating Senator Obama. Yes, that's right, read these words carefully: she won't be the nominee because SHE MADE SEVERAL IMPORTANT STRATEGIC ERRORS. It has nothing to do with her being a WOMAN or Senator Obama being AFRICAN-AMERICAN, as you so 'astutely' observe in your post.
Now, she has to get dirty to compensate for the huge blindspot in her strategy (and Ego) to win the nomination. First, she brought up Rev. Wright. Now, it looks like Mr. Blitzer is going to try and help her make a case that Obama was a coke head.
As democrats we need to study our history. Our last 2 successful candidates won on the common theme of hope & responsibility. Funny, you know, that's exactly what Senator Obama is running on and he's most likely going to win - no matter what Hillary's crony Wolf Blitzer decides to do.

C'mon Blitz, asking about that is just shock-tactic reporting. I think he states in the excerpt you quoted in this article why he brought it up. I don't think he was trying to force it back into the spotlight or anything. He was just saying it made him question what kind of person wouldn't remember that? what kind of leader?
The question should be, if he thought that while Bush was still governer, why did he work for him at the White House?

Hey Paul -- read you post above, and it works just as well if I insert Obama's name for Bush.

SEE what I mean....

"It goes to Obama's character, Wolf. You see how easy Obama manipulates the 'truth' into whatever he wants it to be. It's too bad people like Wolf were too busy paving the way (to the white house) to see through this man's bull."

I couldn't have said it better!

Everything has time. Time to reveal the truth. Time to hide the truth. Time to lie. Time not to lie. I trusted Bush when he said that the war Iraq was about WMD. But when the story was changed to giving freedom to the people of Iraq from a dictator, I questioned myself who is the Dictator. THE ONE WHO SAY, "I AM THE DECIDER." or who.
McClellan just revealed the truth.

It is not so hard to understand that McClellan's tell all book would also include his intimate conversations with GWBush.

It's just a stir because the President is a dope head and when he says GWBush can't remember or recall just sounds pathetic. Either he's really that dumb and brain dead or he's so sinister to believe in his own lies.

Does it really matter? He ran the country for two four year terms.....hmm that explain our current state of affairs. Not sure why it was revived, but after November it don't matter none. The damage was already done.

So, Mr. Blitzer, you're going to ask Mr. McClellan that question, despite the fact that his answer to it is in this very article.

What transparent sensationalism.

How about using the time more responsibly to explore the numerous substantive and relevant issues relating to the executive branch which have been brought up in Mr. McClellan's book.

The better question is about Obama's admitted use of cocaine. Why is that not an issue? Instead, anyone that brings it up is chastised. It is not exactly a party drug encountered by casual users. You would have to be deeper into drugs to start taking cocaine. And we want this man for president??

McClellan says the comments “struck me” and “stayed with me to this day – not for what it revealed or concealed about the young George W. Bush, but for what it said about Bush as an older man and political leader, especially as revealed through my later experiences working for him.”

Obama accepted responsibility, acknowledged his mistakes when he was younger, applied himself and graduated from Harvard Law School thanks to a scholarship.

Whereas to Scott's point...Bush skirted the question altogether and if not lied. Wild parties or not, you know whether or not cocaine was used.

Since you delayed in coming out with your book until we have lost over 4000 Americans in Iraq and countless innocent Iraquis..............you should donate all the profits from this book to help sustain those soldiers coming home with PTSD..................................

GO TO THE SENATE AND SWEAR UNDER OATH THAT WHAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN IN YOUR BOOK IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH

Some may call you a coward since you didn't have the balls to go public without first having some monetary incentive for yourself. You may be considered unethical yourself for this obvious perception by the American people. Most reasonable people would come to this conclusion. What do you have to say in this regard?

Remember, McClellan didn't write much of the book. He gave that duty to the publisher and just put his name on it at the end. That is why the book so closely fits the liberal dogma. Scott is just cashing in like most other people are doing. He sold his soul, but now he doesn't have work another day in his life. Good for him.

Texas high court rules the FLDS children are now free to be raped again and again back home at the ranch.

So much for democracy in the United States of America.

Of course CNN will not allow my comment on the political sites.

Or anywhere else.

CNN, you are not doing a great job helping to protect these kids. You are more interested in Bush's problems as a young man.

Firstly, I would have preferred you came out with this book many years ago........................much could have been different as a result of it. Now, are you willing to, under oath, and the penalty of perjury, speak to the Senate Judiciary Committee about the allegations you make regarding the President and his administration, past and present?
The President and those other officials that you name, though nearing the end of their terms in office, if what you say is true, have committed IMPEACHABLE offenses..........and should be held accountable.
I FOR ONE, DO NOT WANT ONE MORE DOLLAR OF MY TAXES GOING TO PERPETUATE OR SUPPORT THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN US INTO WAR UNJUSTIFIABLY. Those responsible should be held accountable and should also lose their pensions/yhealth care, and Secret Service support.

Conscience at some point got to him.
Also, he does need to sell some books since his reputation is so tarnished that he won't be able to cash in on a cushy job like most other political appointees do after they leave their position.

Well said! You are a smart guy. Wolf on the other hand, is a proven moronic Hillary Clinton supporter. I'm glad CNN is giving a show to that middle eastern fellow (GPS) to infuse some intelligence into this idiotic group (Dobb, Campbell, Wolf), of course, Anderson Cooper is an exception with some journalistic integrity.

I wanted to hear about it eight years ago. We didn't get the truth then.

I am hopine McClellan won't have to take too much misery for his book. He didn't tell the truth soon enough, but at least it is out now.

It's always worth a chuckle to see earnest souls straining to be more Catholic than the Pope. Even the White House, at least in its official reactions, has not called Mr. McClellen a liar. That has not dissuaded the faithful, amply represented on this forum, from trying to rid the POTUS of this meddlesome ex-friend. The posts are early for folks to have actually read the book [I haven't] but that's a minor detail for the true believers eager to pronounce the msessnger of these sad tidings "liar," "dishonest," "Judas," "scum" and so it goes ...

Wolf, maybe if you & your media buddies had looked into it when it first came up, we wouldn't have an idiot and a war criminal in the White House.
Mr. Blitzer you are a JOKE. How in the hell did you convince anyone that you are a real Journalist. You should be working for one of the tabloids.

Wolf,

Your goals are clear:

1-You are already trying to attack Obama.

2-You are diverting the attention away from the really important part of the book: the Bush administration, with the MEDIA'S HELP, sold an absurd war to the American people.

On all these charges, maybe you are much more guilty than Obama would ever be, Wolf...

Any nightmares?...

The real concern is that these types of twisted true stories have become so common place that they have to mentally and psychologically affect what is considered the base level of common sense that all of us possess.

McCellan is an opportunist. It probably took him 6 months to write this book and get it published, yet he didn't bring this to the attention of the media until now, when his book is coming out? Seems like he just wants a lot of publicity so he can make money off of people that dislike Bush enough to read his (likely) garbage.

READ CNN'S LEAD ARTICLE TODAY: About how Obama played "hardball" (DIRTY!) in his first Chicago Senate campaign. A real eye-opener about "Mr Clean"!
• Used Chicago rules to invalidate voting petition signatures of 3 challengers
• Challenged every single one on “technicalities”
• If names were printed instead of signed in cursive writing, they were declared invalid.
• If signatures were good but the person gathering the signatures wasn't properly registered, those petitions also were thrown out
• "It's not the tactics of 'let's all people come together and put your best ideas forward and the best ideas win,” as he now likes to claim
• "That's the spin; that's in the Kool-Aid.”
• In the end, he made sure voters had just one choice: HIM

I liked what Karl Rove had to say about McClellan. "If he had "MORAL" issues, he should have spoken up" SURRRREE!!!! Right Karl, all of you "moral" Cabinet members and Advisors on Bush's staff.

Fact is, I enjoy seeing someone in that Admin have a conscience. You sure won'tfind Rove, Rumsfeld, Cheney, or Bush on the "moral" list.

Why doesn't Rove come clean? You know why... he would spend years in the slammer. Oh wait, the Dems are waiting for Bush to leave office so he won't pardon the scum.

Maybe he got tired of carrying the burden of knowing how Screwed up our president and our politics are as if no one knew already anyway. Seems like the only time politicians care what people say as if its in a book so say Write on and if its just a gimmick to make money big deal he would be the frist person to make money of exploiting people. Then again why are so many books written and so many documentaries made about politicians and no one ever seems to want to ask about them as if they are all just fake by people wanting to make money. I dont think so there are people alot smarter then our government gives us credit for. IRAQ FOR SALE, THE LAST WHITE HOPE, FERENHIET 9/11... check them out sometime and maybe you will see we need to be questioning our government and demanding real answers!
