Clinton launches TV ad in Montana

Clinton campaigned in Puerto Rico over the weekend.'

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton is hitting the television airwaves in Montana, five days before that state holds one of the primary season's last two contests.

The 30-second ad, called "Only One," is a largely positive spot that promotes the New York senator's plan to tackle the special interests in Washington.

"She's the only one in this campaign who voted against the Bush energy bill against six billion dollars to the oil companies, the only one taking on the insurance companies to guarantee health coverage for every American and she's the one who'll end fifty five billion dollars in giveaways to corporate special interests and cut taxes for the middle class instead," the ad's narrator states.

The American Leadership Project, a pro-Clinton independent group also launched an ad in the state earlier this week.

Montana and South Dakota hold the final two Democratic primaries next Tuesday. Barack Obama is widely viewed to have an advantage in both states.

Mrs. Clinton should graciously surrender the nomination to Mr. Obama and allow the Democratic Party to begin its monumental task of defeating John McCain....which may be, by now, an insurmountable task.

Why won't Obama? We don't like him and we aren't going to vote for him so why doesn't he drop out for the good of the party.

Otherwise we are voting for McCain because we can't stand him and his lies nor his racism and hate or his shady "friends".

DROP OUT OBAMA!!! You will cost us the White House in November!

How do you like it Obama turds? We don't want your lying military wannabe.

Sen. Clinton is running an admirable campaign. Let's hope that Montana and the remaining states don't fall for the Obama-biased media reports or pundit chatter. And let's hope that they don't listen to the hate-filled remarks from the Obama voters who flock to these "Comments."

Would someone please help me,and tell me if I am wrong about the Democratic Rules. I have always been under the impression that that was what Super-Delegates were for, to select the most electable candidate for November. Rev Wright has critically hurt Obama amoung white voters, and he is really no longer electable. Why wouldn't the delegates and super-delegates ,therefore, migrate to Clinton? The only resaon Pelosi and other DNC leaders would be asking supers and regular delegates not to do that ,is because of the"Race" issue....Oh we can't use the rules in a negative way, with America's first Black contender. Why not? He hasn't a chance in the world of winning in November ,after the Rev. Wright stuff came out. African-Americans may be willing to over-look Obama's flawed character, but whites are not. His connections and affiliations, scare us to death. Has anyone been watching elections since that time? The only States he has won has been States with High number of Blacks and have been closed to Independent voters. They've only allowed Registered Democrats to vote in those States........What about all of us white Independents? It is alright to slap us in the face ,deny our vote, but don't offend the Blacks........no,no,no....I believe in equality, don't get me wrong, but this is not equality. The DNC has completely disenfranchised us and now they want let the delegates and Super-delegates correct the problem,by electing the most electable in November.

Obama a product of the Chicago Democratic machine. You win elections by eliminating the oppostion from the ballot. There was a time when canidates were not selected prior to the Convention.

    OBAMA 08

    but

    McCain's White House 08 and 12

    Go figure.

    Go Hillary! :)

Too bad the far left has anointed the mixed race guy.

Obama with Axelrod for a brain is just Bush 3 who had Rove for a brain. There is really no difference between the far left and the far right when arrogance and the lust for power rules. :(

The Dems deserve to lose the general, and they will!

Hillary is a Centrist who cares about people and is in touch with Americans! :)

I don't understand where is she getting all of the ad money. Has she paid off the people that she owes? What is it with her, she is losing and she is destroying the Democratic Party and the people of America. I have several friends from other countries and they are laughing at Americans saying how can you people listen to a woman that is acting like a man and playing so dirty and calling herself a winner when she is clearly the loser. How can you people stand her making America look so ugly and racist. Why are you just believing everything she and her husband and their campaign lie at every turn and change what was already written? I just know that she got more votes in white states because the Republicans voted for her and they want to run against her because no matter what they know that they will win against her not Obama I use to like her but now I hate her she is the poorest excuse for a woman on this earth.

Joe.. I agree lets talk about lies....

lets talk about Hillary's support of NAFTA that has cost Americans millions of jobs, and her lies about how she was against it from the start. And lets talk about how she used those lies to steal the Ohio primary...

Lets talk about dodging sniper fire in Bosnia – a complete fabrication that she repeated several times and then berated Sinbad for telling the truth.

Lets talk about the peace she negotiated in Ireland – by hosting tea parties for the rich women of the country, while the real diplomats actually negotiated the settlement.

while we are at it lets talk about spin too ...its about the same as lying ...
Like the accusation that Obama stripped Florida and Michigan of their delegates when those states' governors and legislatures made the decision to break the rules, fully aware of the consequences.

Like holding herself up as the champion of the disenfranchised voter when she initially agreed with the censure of those states. (By the way, had she lost those primaries do you think she would be championing their inclusion now? – Be honest, don't be like Hillary)

like the release of those ridiculous pictures of Obama in an african outfit, alleging that he was dressed as a muslim.

Like saying she leads in the popular vote when she trails by 600,000.

Sorry I have no use for this woman, or anyone that holds her up as a paragon of truth and justice.

While she is franticly spending her poor supporter's contributions and raising her supporter's false hopes, Obama now only needs 45 delegates and/or superdelegates.

This whole fiasco is really hard for me to believe. Who ever heard of having statewide primary elections, and then telling the people that their votes will be ignored?

If the fair thing is to have a revote in FL and MI, then the only real problem is who is going to pay for it.

I nominate George Soros and Al Gore. Let these two great Americans pay for a new vote in FL and MI.

All they have to do is get out their checkbooks. We all know that they have the money.

To all those treating this young AND INEXPERIENCED senator OBAMA as if he was a rock star:

His political trail & experience is PAPER THIN, and what is more important, he can have the votes of all the SUPER delegates in the whole wide world, BUT the polls show he will loose BIG against McCain in all the swing States.

I fear that voting for Obama would be like keeping the door to the White House WIDE OPEN for McCain....... BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure glad Nancy Pelosi jumped in and is going to end this mess, and not allow it to go to the convention! Looks like she had to do wimpy Howard Dean's job for him. They need to replace him. He serves no purpose. This could have been resolved months ago, if Dean had done his job. Thanks, Nancy!
