What is the likelyhood that this Presidential election will start a revolution?

The people should hold their elected officials accountable–especially in Michighan and Florida–for holding the will of the people, not the special interests and lobbyists.

We should not be surprised at the insights that would come out of te Bush Administration. The administration is corrupt! I'm always amazed when I read comments from McCain and Clinton supports about th decision to support Obama. For instance, Barack can't be trusted, but yet Hillary outrighit lied to the American people to bolster more support and at any means necessary ton several occaisions. She is willing to do and say anthing to get to the white house.... She dishonest and we can't trust what she'll say and when she's tired we can't trust what she'll do! She might not answer the phone. Scott sees this and is intriqued more by Obama. He sees that McCain is strong on military strategy (if you beleive it) but lack backbone, judgement and true understanding of American people. It shows that many Republicans are discouraged with their party right now; for Carl Rove, GW and John McCain are not what they appeared to be regarding polocies, especially the war. McCain was not real keen on the war in the beginning, but he had to saddle up with Bush to keep his status in WA. Look back from 2000 to present and see the changes made in McCain regarding the Bush Administration.

This also, shows Obama's attraction to all people who are sick of the present Washington status. Obama found this out when he was elected senator and decided this has got to change how we do business in Washington. Why do you think they are really trying to get Hill or John in there, then it is the same as before.

It doesn't matter why Mcclellan wrote his Bush book. What is important is the message the book imparts: that government stopped performing its primary function, that of problem solving, and instead allowed politics and wishful thinking to propel this country into failed policies. Moreover, in the pursuit of these failed policies , administration officials manufactured facts to fit events and lied to protect their jobs.
The lack of leadership at crucial times permitted policies to get so out of control that this train wreck produced the Katrina and Iraq debacles.
One cannot blame a low-level administrative spokesman whose job was to obfuscate facts and regurgitate the talking points of the day to the sleeping press for not being willing to leave his job when Generals and Cabinet appointees sat silently by as the train left the tracks. All those lockstep administrative officials, past and present, who now berate McClellan need to look at their own service. They may have been appointed by the President, but they, and he, works for us!

Welcome to the Obama team, Scott. I think I understand why you remained silent. In those days, it was considered almost mutinous to speak up. The Bush administration has always dealt harshly with dissent, which is odd, considering dissent is one of the cornerstones of American Democracy. It will be refreshing when Mr. Bush and his gang leave the White House. The place will definitely need airing out; the stink of arrogance and a complete disregard for the law will be heavy in the air for some time.

It is important that we, as Americans, remember where our loyalties are. We shouldn't be loyal to a man or his regime, but to our country.
Presidents come and go. The country, if we manage ourselves correctly, will go on for a long time.

I congratulate you on coming forward. I'm sure there are others who worked near you who, if they had more guts, would come forward too.
