Sen. Clinton waves from her campaign caravan in Puerto Rico on Saturday.

Rolling through GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico (CNN) — Sen. Hillary Clinton's marathon caravan through the communities surrounding San Juan rolls on.

For the last several hours, the candidate has stood atop a souped-up white truck with her campaign logo splashed on the side. She's endured drizzle (umbrella immediately appeared) and sun (visor put on).

She's blown air-kisses to the crowd, waved at women in rollers who have come running, screaming, from beauty parlors, and stood quietly looking out over the landscape.

The mess of reporters following her has had the chance to survey every change in her facial expression as they hang off a covered truck mere feet from the presidential candidate.

The never-ending, ear-splitting soundtrack for this Puerto Rican campaign tradition is a mix of Ricky Martin and a salsa campaign jingle that includes an announcer screaming, "Who is here? Hillary Clinton, the next president of the United States!"

At various intersections, drivers of trucks and cars lay on their horns, trying to compete with the decibel level of the roughly 15-foot speaker leading Clintons ever-growing caravan.

As for news? It's slim pickings. One intrepid pool reporter attempted a question about the DNC meeting that could decide the status of disputed delegates from Florida and Michigan as the candidate briefly ducked into a restaurant but came up empty.

The caravan — over 15 cars long — rolls on.

Watch out, the caravan is coming to a fhalt, I hope Clinton doesn't fall off, Even if she does, It doesn't matter since the Caravan has already come to a final halt.

tigerakabj   May 31st, 2008 5:05 pm ET

Hahahahahahahaha!! I'm sorry but this is too funny! This truly is her last stand.

I will once again be smiling and laughing when they haul this woman into a nut house, her kicking and screaming the whole way.

Hillary, get your good times done now.
1. Peter Paul v. Clinton
2. You and your husband have to pay off all the shady people around the world who have given you money to get into the presidency via Clinton library and "speeches" (i.e. Columbian government).

Francesca   May 31st, 2008 5:07 pm ET

Puerto Rico, Hillary will fight for you as she will fight for the rest of our nation. She has the integrity, intelligence and experience to be the first woman president of the United States.

There it is again..That fake, ridiculus look on her face!! as if she's surprised to see people turn up to see her.. Iv gone from loving this women to finding her extremely annoying!

Join the Circus Hilary! At least there, you're SUPPOSED to be laughed at!

anonymous   May 31st, 2008 5:40 pm ET

another CLEAR example of CNN's terrible coverage…you would think you would have some decency, and not put such an unflattering photo of Senator Clinton on your website. But that would require some sense of taste and character, of which you have none when it comes to Senator Clinton. When Howard Dean speaks of sexism in the media, you are its prime example.

Sheila, Tampa   May 31st, 2008 5:40 pm ET

Hillary - I'm with you all the way to the convention girl….YOU GO….

You are the rightful winner of this mess because it's YOU who has the most votes…

Don't give up.

Iris Roman   May 31st, 2008 5:41 pm ET

I see that Senator Clinton is having a blast in PR. She looks so happy and so beautiful that I know she is going to be our next president. Please everybody in PR vote for her so she could be our 44th president and the first woman president of the USA. We need her to fix everything that GWB mess up in 8 years. PR vote por the Senator Clinton para que ella sea la primera mujer presidente de Estado Unido.

Illinois   May 31st, 2008 5:42 pm ET

Hillary Clinton is our next president!

Carmen   May 31st, 2008 6:33 pm ET

I hope all candidates take a really good look where are the Hispanic votes inclined now and don’t forget the importance of this particular segment of population. Results in Puerto Rico are a very good example of that-which candidate is having that support now.
The big picture is the elections in November and the candidate needs to think on that.

Why should I care? Puerto Rico does not cast a vote in general election. How can we impact the states that really do matter against McCain is my problem. What a nut case

sophia nyc   May 31st, 2008 7:22 pm ET

The caravan carrying the 3-ring circus is coming through your town! Yipee!

MD   May 31st, 2008 7:33 pm ET

Hillary Clinton will regret her approach to this election. If she might have had a chance in 2012, by threatening to take the Michigan vote to the Credentials Committee in Denver, she cut her own political throat. I would not be at all surprised if she turns Republican and runs with McCane.

No McSame   May 31st, 2008 7:35 pm ET

Drop her off in CUBA. We don't want her back.

B. Churchill   May 31st, 2008 7:35 pm ET

Sound and fury - signifying nothing.

LINFORD YOUNG   May 31st, 2008 7:53 pm ET

WELL WELL WELL IF SENATOR CLINTON WAS WINNING WE
WOULD'NT HEAR A WORD ABOUT PUERTO RICO
BUT NOW PUERTO RICO TO SENATOR CLINTON IS MORE
IMPORTANT THAN EVEN CALIFORNIA.I AM SURE ITS GOING TO
BE VERY HARD FOR HER TO CONCEED AND ADMIT DEFEAT
BUT IN EVERY WALKS OF LIFE WE WIN SOME AND WE LOSE SOME
BUT JUST SAY TO YOURSELF TO YOUR SUPPORTERS AND TO
AMERICA THE BETTER PERSON WON AND MOVE ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keith in CA   May 31st, 2008 7:56 pm ET

It's nice to see Hillary supporter's contributions spent wisely. I can't imagine how she got so far into debt.

Francis, Hawaii   May 31st, 2008 7:56 pm ET

Hillarr Clinton is riding on the past good events done by her husband Bill Clinton. Voting on obligations and making promises like a politician does not the right way to get a person elected. Hillary makes promises in evey state and wonder how many of these promises she will keep. Can't trust a hypocrite!

Jose   May 31st, 2008 8:54 pm ET

Obama-Webb!

David in Illinois   May 31st, 2008 8:54 pm ET

She's clueless. Adios Hillary. And say goodbye to your husband, too. His legacy is a shambles.

Eddie P. rochester ny   May 31st, 2008 8:56 pm ET

Hillary!!! keep that caravan going all the way to Denver. this race is not over . Don't quit us supporters now!!! we're still with you. Obama keeps running away from his problems, and that is just what he'll do in the face of the enemy.

joan   May 31st, 2008 8:57 pm ET

If Senator Clinton whom I initially supported-for years, had followed the rules as stated by the National Democratic Committee, no of this would be occuring.

I realise now that the Clintons believe that they are the Democratic Party, probably want to have a legacy like the Kennedys, however, their reputations and lack of integrity will not be repaired after this.

I once admired her intelligence. I now realise she will do and say anything to get what she wants. I believe Bill desperately wants to return to the White House to re-write his presidential history. He did wonderful things for this country economically however, his legacy will always be the president who had an affair while in office and was impeached because he lied about it.

I don't want another Clinton in the White House, their time has come and gone. It's time to let go of this gutter/gangster politics. This country has too many serious issues to get bogged down again in the Clinton/slick willy show.

Caravan rolls on to defeat in the Superdelegate primary which will end shortly after Montana and South Dakota votes.

She still doesn't know what hit her. Look at her in the pic.

Hillaryous   May 31st, 2008 9:04 pm ET

The mess is right.

Trish   May 31st, 2008 9:07 pm ET

Hillary, ¡no más!

jimmy   May 31st, 2008 9:08 pm ET

Hillary, you look happy and I am glad. The media and the old establishment turned their backs on you and in result lost the hopes of more voters for you than those who voted false hope and change.

I'm with you no matter what happens and I am sorry but I will not vote for Obama even if you ask me to.

Hillary in 2012 - now that's a winner!

ellianna   May 31st, 2008 9:08 pm ET

Have fun Hillary!! When you get back to the States REALITY WILL SET IN!! Here is the big news you may have missed:

BARACK OBAMA NOW RULES THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!!

I stand in awe of you!

Cry For Our Country   May 31st, 2008 9:22 pm ET

We've had almost eight years of a president who looks anything but presidential in photographs. His facial expressions have been a constant source of ammunition for cartoonists and parodies.

And if Hillary somehow manages to land in the White House, we will end up with at least four more years of a face that looks downright crazy in most photographs. Her eyes bug out, her jowls hang, and she just looks in general like a wild woman.

I suppose Hillary just might be what this tired and battered country deserves — because if it puts her in the White House, it obviously has not learned anything from the last president.
