Clinton in Puerto Rico: Caravan rolls on

Sen. Clinton waves from her campaign caravan in Puerto Rico on Saturday.
Sen. Clinton waves from her campaign caravan in Puerto Rico on Saturday.

Rolling through GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico (CNN) - Sen. Hillary Clinton's marathon caravan through the communities surrounding San Juan rolls on.

For the last several hours, the candidate has stood atop a souped-up white truck with her campaign logo splashed on the side. She's endured drizzle (umbrella immediately appeared) and sun (visor put on).

She's blown air-kisses to the crowd, waved at women in rollers who have come running, screaming, from beauty parlors, and stood quietly looking out over the landscape.

The mess of reporters following her has had the chance to survey every change in her facial expression as they hang off a covered truck mere feet from the presidential candidate.

The never-ending, ear-splitting soundtrack for this Puerto Rican campaign tradition is a mix of Ricky Martin and a salsa campaign jingle that includes an announcer screaming, "Who is here? Hillary Clinton, the next president of the United States!"

At various intersections, drivers of trucks and cars lay on their horns, trying to compete with the decibel level of the roughly 15-foot speaker leading Clintons ever-growing caravan.

As for news? It's slim pickings. One intrepid pool reporter attempted a question about the DNC meeting that could decide the status of disputed delegates from Florida and Michigan as the candidate briefly ducked into a restaurant but came up empty.

The caravan - over 15 cars long - rolls on.

Watch out, the caravan is coming to a fhalt, I hope Clinton doesn't fall off, Even if she does, It doesn't matter since the Caravan has already come to a final halt.

Hahahahahahahaha!! I'm sorry but this is too funny! This truly is her last stand.

I will once again be smiling and laughing when they haul this woman into a nut house, her kicking and screaming the whole way.

Hillary, get your good times done now.
    1. Peter Paul v. Clinton
    2. You and your husband have to pay off all the shady people around the world who have given you money to get into the presidency via Clinton library and "speeches" (i.e. Columbian government).

Puerto Rico, Hillary will fight for you as she will fight for the rest of our nation. She has the integrity, intelligence and experience to be the first woman president of the United States.

another CLEAR example of CNN's terrible coverage...you would think you would have some decency, and not put such an unflattering photo of Senator Clinton on your website. But that would require some sense of taste and character, of which you have none when it comes to Senator Clinton. When Howard Dean speaks of sexism in the media, you are its prime example.

I see that Senator Clinton is having a blast in PR. She looks so happy and so beautiful that I know she is going to be our next president. Please everybody in PR vote for her so she could be our 44th president and the first woman president of the USA. We need her to fix everything that GWB mess up in 8 years. PR vote por the Senator Clinton para que ella sea la primera mujer presidente de Estado Unido.

I hope all candidates take a really good look where are the Hispanic votes inclined now and don’t forget the importance of this particular segment of population. Results in Puerto Rico are a very good example of that-which candidate is having that support now.
The big picture is the elections in November and the candidate needs to think on that.

Why should I care? Puerto Rico does not cast a vote in general election. How can we impact the states that really do matter against McCain is my problem. What a nut case

Hillary Clinton will regret her approach to this election. If she might have had a chance in 2012, by threatening to take the Michigan vote to the Credentials Committee in Denver, she cut her own political throat. I would not be at all surprised if she turns Republican and runs with McCane.

IMPORTANT THAN EVEN CALIFORNIA.I AM SURE ITS GOING TO
BE VERY HARD FOR HER TO CONCEED AND ADMIT DEFEAT
BUT IN EVERY WALKS OF LIFE WE WIN SOME AND WE LOSE SOME
BUT JUST SAY TO YOURSELF TO YOUR SUPPORTERS AND TO

It's nice to see Hillary supporter's contributions spent wisely. I can't imagine how she got so far into debt.

Hillarr Clinton is riding on the past good events done by her husband Bill Clinton. Voting on obligations and making promises like a politician does not the right way to get a person elected. Hillary makes promises in evey state and wonder how many of these promises she will keep. Can't trust a hypocrite!
