Florida compromise seats delegation, gives each half vote

WASHINGTON (CNN) - The Rules and Bylaws Committee narrowly voted Saturday against a motion by panel member Alice Huffman to fully seat Florida's delegation, sparking chaos in the ballroom where the panel was meeting, before voting almost unanimously to seat the full delegation but halve its voting strength.

The crowd grew increasingly vocal during the vote over Huffman's motion, as many in the audience began shouting at the members of the committee, hissing and chanting "Denver! Denver!" the site of the Democratic National Convention this summer.

I think what was done was best. Initially everyone including Clinton was for stripping both Michigan and Florida of all of their delgates. Now because she trails she desires to change the rules and her position. I'm not sure if this means anything as Obama is so far ahead it doesn't make a difference. The reason Hillary Clinton lost the nomination is because she took it for granted. Now she has to deal with it.

I've been watching this debate for most of the afternoon and I must say the actions and displays by the Clinton supporters are disgraceful, disrespectful and pathetic. Oh, wait, they reflect their candidate.

Obama's supporters were very well behaved, didn't boo and disrupt the debates but no one could shut up the women for HIllary. Not all women are for her – apparently just the obnoxious, man-hating ones.

And what a funny thing that it was to watch Billary's panel supporters go on about how important the rules are when THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE FORCING THE BREAKAGE OF THE SAME RULES THEY AGREED TO!

Hillary – Bush – is there ANY difference????

Clinton supporters need to bite the bullet and accept the truth. She can not win. She has in fact already lost. Florida and Michigan did not play by the rules. They shouldn't be counted at all. We have now only encouraged other states in the future to do what they did and not pay attention to the rules because they will not be held to the consequences.

The Clinton groupies........Bitter, divisiveness, and disrespectful.,.....just like their candidate! The world is watching America and can see very clearly how HRC has divided her country, her party and lost all respect from those of outside looking in!
If HRC can not get back to the white house, she will make sure no democrat will! How sad and narcistic!

As a lifelong Democrat, I can promise you that we, the Democrats WILL NOT be unified in November.

We do not allow the DNC to replace the WILL OF THE VOTERS with THEIR OWN PERSONAL WILLS!!!

I think WE SHOULD lose the election in November. I have always voted Democrat. In November, I will be voting for McCain!

It is time Clinton took control of her supporters the way Obama has done. She should make it clear that this is the best possible result and tell them to accept that as she does (should).

    Rise, Hillary. RISE!

Obama should be ashamed of seeking to trample upon the civil rights of voters of Michigan and Florida. And to seek to disenfranchise the voters of those states. And to seek to illegally obtain votes for which he is not entitled. We have the New George Bush in waiting.

Hillary we shall see you in Denver. Never give up.

Thats it FULL STOP. Lets get the General election on the road full speed
ahead. HRC is a perennial flip-flopper. First she was dodging bullets then she was not. First she was for the rules then she was not. First she was for the war then she is against it. ENOUGH ALREADY.

I just believed that DNC is not even able to respect its own rules and enforces them. Tomorrow, it would be a challenge of our constitution because it does not favor who would like. Is that the kind of democracy of cheating we want?
