"Hannagan said that if Clinton is not the Democratic nominee, some members of his forum will vote for McCain, write in Hillary’s name or not vote at all." So, in the end, this is what all the red-faced, finger-pointing, strong-armed Clinton tactics have succeeded in doing. Anyone who refuses to recognize the value that Obama clearly brings to the Democratic ticket as the nominee has been the victim of a deliberate and calculated brainwashing campaign orchestrated by Bill, Hillary, Chelsea and all their surrogates. How un-American. We've suffered through it long enough!

DNC needs to remember November of 2000.If the do believe in true Democracy they should count every vote as they were cast in Michigan and Florida. If they do not they will loose at least 126 life long conservative demomocrats to Senator John Mcain regardless who the Democratic nominee will be.Those 126 will be Mcains Democrats
not Reagan Democrats.
From Golden Triangle Of Texas.

I just want to know why the Clinton supporters keep forgetting the fact that Hillary SIGNED the pledge saying that she KNEW the votes would not count! There are tapes of her saying that she agreeded to the decision. She is using these supporters because she now needs their votes! These women are so blinded by the fact that they want a woman president that they are not even looking at this situation rationally. Talk about "drinking the kook-aid!"

Sad very sad. This group is truly delusional if they think it's fair to seat the delegates according to the illegitimate primaries in Michigan and Florida, especially Michigan. This group is reacting on high levels of emotion rather than intellect and rationality. We all know that when emotions run high, especially in women but men too, we all do things we normally would not do. If you give all of these people some vellum they wouldn't act so irrational.

These yahoos...they broke the rules. Deal with it.

Florida and elections...enough said. Michigan is disappointing but the Dem parties in those states KNEW the consequences.

Deal with it. This is all Hillary created anyhow.

Ironically, if they kept their primaries when they were originally scheduled, they would have been huge! Yahoos

Frankly, I disagree with Sen. Clinton's demands that Florida delegates be represented 100%, as wpould any fair-minded individual.

Just as there are penalties for violating the law, there are penalties for breaking established rules, otherwise, Laws and Rules mean nothing...

These clintonistas are too funny. They purport to want representation for MI and FL but they would have been more than happy to disenfranchise tens of states of voters if they' had had the nomination sewed up by Super Tuesday. It's obvious that the reason they want these rogue states counted now is because they've lost the primary and they are desperate. If Clinton can't win they'll do all they can to mortally wound Obama. Get a life!

Great for Clinton and her supporters but I don't think that it will influence what the Rules and Bylaws Committee does. They will seat this in a manner that is fair to both candidates.

I do agree that something should be done to have Fl. and MI. represented BUT I also feel some form of punishment is mandated. If these states get away with this then every state will feel they can break rules and get away with it. It's not the voter's fault that that the legislatures screwed things up.

At the same time though, why does Hillary feel it necessary to bus demonstrators in to support her cause? And why on Earth do we keep hearing the same threat that if she is not the nominee, we'll vote for McCain? Talk about trying to steal the nomination!!! If Clinton had any decency, she would speak up and tell her supporters to stop with this nonsense and let the process work. She should also say that if she's not the nominee or even on the ticket, they have a moral duty to support the Democratic nominee. This has really turned into a sad state of affairs.

This is one of the dumber protests ever. The only way to make it "fair" would have been to have another election since not everyone voted and Obama wasn't on the ballot not to mention the pledge both Obama and Clinton made.

If somehow this gives Hillary the election, you will have a bigger protest on your hand and McCain in office next term.

They SHOULD count. I think it's about time we modernized our voting process anyway. Why can't all states vote at the same time? I don't think this creeping election is truly fair. People should vote for a candidate because they believe in their abilities and they have mutual opinions on key issues, not because they are currently ahead or behind or ahem, motivational speakers.

THIS ISSUE SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED LONG AGO SO THAT ANY DISPUTE ARISING AFTERWARDS COULD BE DEALT BEFORE THE CONVENTION IN AUGUST. EVERY VOTE SHOULD COUNT AND ALL THE DELEGATES SHOULD BE SEATED AT THE CONVENTION. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SEN. OBAMA SHOULD HAVE HIS NAME IN FLORIDA BALLOT AND NOT IN MICHIGAN. WAS THAT A CALCULATED MOVE OR AN OVERSIGHT? HE SHOULD NOT BE AWARED ANY VOTES IN MICHIGAN.I HEARD THE COMMENT THAT DONNA BRAZILE MADE LONG TIME AGO ABOUT HER PLANS TO LEAVE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IF THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE WERE TO BE OVERTURNED. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF SEN. CLINTON HAS MORE VOTES AND SEN. OBAMA HAS MORE DELEGATES? WHOSE WILL SHOULD BE FOLLOWED IN CHOSING WHICH CANDIDATE TO REPRESENT THE PARTY.? I GUESS THE CANDIDATE WITH THE MAJORITY OF THE VOTES. DNC SHOULD LEARN FRON THIS EXPERIRNCE AND SCRAP THIS DELEGATE NON-SENSE AND HAVE A STRAIGHT VOTE WHERE THE CANDIDATE THAT HAS THE MAJORITY OF THE VOTES WINS THE NOMINATION.

The blame here belongs to to republican, which is responsible for moving up the Florida primary. For you who say you will vote republican is just plan ludicrous. You should be so upset with the republicans that you come out in great numbers to support your democrat nominee.

Tell you what, lets do a do-over and take Obama's name off all the ballots and have a revote. Then when Obama wins the primary, let's take his name off the general ballot. Do you think Hillary will be satisfied then? How ridiculous!

HILLARY, YOU ARE A DISGRACE! A DISGRACE TO AMERICA AND TO YOURSELF!

Tell you what, lets do a do-over and take Obama's name off all the ballots and have a revote. Then when Obama wins the primary, let's take his name off the general ballot. Do you think Hillary will be satisfied then? How ridiculous!

If Clinton was winning
Michigan and Florida would not be mentioned
If Obama was losing and
Michigan and Florida had voted for Obama then
Clinton would be arguing that rules are rules and they should not
    be counted
You know it is funny but last year she agreed to the rules but that was when she anointed herself as the Democratic nominee since she had 35% lead. What a difference a year makes.

If her supporters are that ignorant and elect not to support the process and the party, then they deserve everything they will get if McCain gets elected. All those women for Hillary who are also sisters, mothers, grandmothers, etc may regret helping McCain get elected when members of their family end up dying in Iraq, Iran, Afganistan, or wherever in one of John McCain's personal wars. He is just like Bush. He wants to be remembered by history as a wartime President. And if he is elected, a lot of our soldiers will die giving him his legacy.

I'm really amazed at the arrogance of the Florida and Michigan's voters's demand that ALL of their votes be counted. First of all, they broke the rules. Second of all, all of the candidates agreed not to count these two states for breachingthe rules. Now, they demand that ALL of their votes be counted. What a hipocrisy in the land that preaches to the whole world what democracy and the law!! Senator Clinton and her side has no values in life and she should be ashamed of her posture on this matter.
Barack Obama has played a very fair and honarable play in this otherwise shameful attitude and arrogance by Senator Clinton and her troops! The world should deplore this kind of behaviour.

There is no question in the minds of great men and women that the vote in Florida and Michigan should be counted as voted.

Why not?

If it is not counted here and accurately why should the states votes count in November? That is the line the Republicans will and should use.

So to blunt that attack, I suggest the all votes be counted as voted.
and let the chips fall as they may

It is the AMERICAN WAY to count all the Votes.

I live in here in South Florida and I think Feldman's statement is ludicrous. Our primary was a non-event,and everyone here basically regarded it that way.And we Democrats in Florida are not "in danger'.Thousands here are geared up to organize for Obama in the coming election. There are e-mail campaigns here and special events taking place that are keeping the level of enthusiasm high . We're going to "Count Every Vote" in November, and this 56 year old white Jewish voter can't wait to vote for Barack Obama.

This will be little not les than Castro election in Cuba.

How can you seat a delegate without someone's name on it?

Are we in third world country?
Delegate should be devided into 2 so that it doesn't have any impact just as it was meant for by breaking the rules.

Millions stayed at home not voting knowing there vote won't count. What about that?

Demographically Florida as well as Michigan are "Clinton"-states. When it was decided that the votes from those two states would not be counted she started to lose her "momentum" in favor of Obama. This is unworthy a fair election in a democratical party - don´t you agree? Rigid and meaningless rules and technicalities should not be allowed to settle the nomination.

If the DNC gives 100% of the delegations back to MI/FL - it will signal lack of party control/discipline... precidence needs to be set, otherwise every state will just hold votes whenever they want to and that's not what we need.

Voters should blame their local governments, not the DNC

I can't understand how people feel this would be fair. Because someone insist on having things their way, with no validation, they take steps to do things that make them look spoiled and childish. What kind of message are you demonstrators showing your children? I pray that this does not backfire in your faces in the future. You reap what you sow, you sow discord you get discord, you sow integrity and honesty that is what you get, you sow wrong thinking and wrong actions and guess what that is what you get. Hillary and her supporters are wrong and they know it but payday is coming. Remember your actions when something happens in your life that should not have happened and you feel you were done unfair. IT WILL BE PAYDAY!

The 2008 Dem campaign exposed one great thing :
That Hillary Clinton is a liar, a cheater, and a foul politician.
She has proven she values her own personal ambitions above party and country.
WE WILL REMEMBER, Hillary, should you ever attempt to run for any public office in the future. WE will make sure you NEVER get elected.

This is going to be good. After all the whining the democrats did in 2000 about counting all votes they are going to show their true colors and disenfranchise voters again and like they do every election but this time they can’t use the old play book blame it on a "Vast right-wing conspiracy". Go ahead make my day!

Obviously, the protestors have a right to be there. It's true, however, that whatever can be done should not always be done. In this instance, Hillary's handlers are perfectly willing to make the DNC look bad in her take-no-prisoners attempt to stay in the race. It won't work, serving largely to lower the esteem in which she is generally held among her colleagues in Congress. She has lost the nomination. Now she is losing position in Congress. The latter is a pity because she showed some promise of emerging as an important member of the Senate, in time.

I'm sorry, let me include this. Now, she wants to back out of her originally agreement seating FL and MI delegates. FL and MI, do not be puppets. She was not interested in disenfranchising you when she thought you were winning. Obama removed his name because they all agreed to not campaign there. Therefore, Hillary can only "claim" FL. Because our Democrats are spineless and are afraid of the Clintons they will try to unfairly divide the delegates between the two candidates. Again, lets do a Hillary, back out.

Can't the Democratic Party get anything right? This is an awful spectacle. One side wanting to break the agreed upon rules to give voice to people in Florida and Michigan. The other side supporting rules that deny a voice to people in two states in one of the closest primaries in history. Can this be resolved in a way that makes everybody happy? Will anybody be happy? And how many voters will this cost the Democratic nominee. That may not matter today, but come November a fes votes may matter. Remember Florida 2000.

When I back my car out of the yard, I now call it doing a Hillary. She has backed down from taking credit for certain perceived successes during her husband's administration (NAFTA). She has backed down from supporting a disastrous war (IRAQ). She has backed down from the gasoline holiday tax. She has backed down from her JFK comment. She has backed down from her hard working white voter comments. She has a long history of backing down. Is this the woman I want handling the country? She will back down and back up just like my car.

I wish I could go but I have other obligations. I wish every Florida and Michigan voter could go. It was a record turnout election and Obama got beat! And yes, he did have ads on television! he DID advertise to the people of Florida because the first I had ever seen him was the day before the election on my TV! He's desperate and crooked.

Disenfranchised voters? Give me a break! This is ONLY about Clinton trying to scare up some delegates. Voters from MI and FL who followed the campaigns NEW the votes would not count. If they decide now, after the fact, to count these votes the real disenfranchised voters are the ones from MI and FL who did not vote in the Dem primary because they were told by the DNC that the elections did not count. It is disengenuous for anyone to argue that these elections represent the will of the voters.

OH yea, Hillary has no role in the protests. She signed off on Michigan & Fla. they should NOT count. I'm sure her campaign paid to bus these idiots to Washington. With the gas so high they didn't pay to drive themselves. Especially since they are poor "white" uneducated people. Now she will be "more" in debt. Who does she think is going to pay her debt's? NOT ME !!!!! DNC grow a pair & tell this lying witch where to go. I don't think she should even get her job back in the senate. She is unstable & shouldn't have have anything to do with running this country.
