If Clyburn previously said he would wait until after the contests, why is he coming out the day before?
Anyway, I hope Clinton supporters will put an end to their irrational and visceral anger. Obama won this nomination by following the rules that ALL candidates agreed upon. If we allow specific candidates to change the rules mid-game, then the integrity of the process is lost and there will be a precedent for rule-breaking in the future.
Please, Obama is the only candidate who can be trusted to get us out of Iraq (Clinton and McCain voted for the war), find real longterm economic solutions (not temporary gas tax breaks that will have a worse effect months later), and brings new approaches (uh, diplomacy) to international affairs (Clinton and McCain both said they want to bomb Iran!).
So please – for our future – vote for progress and not pandering and warmongering.

I am so excited to be able to be at the Excel Energy Center tomorrow night! I love going and watching the Wild play there, it's a great venue for concerts BUT this is going to be the best!

Hilary is only winning the popular vote if you don't count every vote....but its a bit hypocritcal to say "every vote must count"..then claim you have the poplular vote by an equation that does not count caucus states and some of the votes in MI. And wasn't it Clinton's campaign that said months ago that its the delegate count at the end that decides the nominee? Oh, that was when she had a huge lead in super delegates...

Your candidate fought a long and arduous fight. She is an incredibly strong candidate and worthy opponent to Senator Obama. Unfortunately, it does not look like she will be the Democratic nominee for President. Instead of fighting amongst ourselves, why not come together for the good of the party? Senator Obama and Senator Clinton are not THAT different. And certainly John McCain is not an acceptable substitute for Senator Clinton. It’s time to stop bickering and start focusing on the future. If you want more of what you’ve got, then by all means, give your support to McCain.

Throwing your vote to the Republicans out of spite is going to do much more harm than good. It’s time for us to come together to make some positive changes in this nation. I hold no grudge, nor any ill will to any Clinton supporter – regardless of what has been said by anyone in the past. Both groups (Obama supporters and Clinton supporters) are guilty of saying spiteful things to eachother. I think we need to put that behind us. It's time.

The problem with this campaign has been the fact that Hillary has not been seen as an individual. Clyburn's statement alone is indicative of it. "Clintons know that [Hillary Clinton] can’t win this," The media had to include HIllary's name because Clyburn did not. He has every right to endorse Obama, but don't go making a fale statement about them making it impossible for Obama to win. Remember, it is not over until tomorrow. It is called democracy. Think about this when you tuck in those children and grandchildren or yet to be born children and grandchildren. This exercise (hopefully) will be the true test of your devotion to this country (flag pins just don't cut it). Do you want those young people to live in a world run by the George Bush's and John McCain's of the world? Is Hillary's loss of the nomination so personal that you would sacrifice those children's futures so you can show everybody how ticked off you are? Seems to me the choice is obvious. I would not sacrifice my children's future for spite or any other grudge I might hold. How about you?
