Hey, Mikie,
"Hillary DOES have the most votes of any Democratic in primary history - that's a fact. Pure and simple."

The AP analysis says it's Obama over Clinton by 450,000 when ALL the states are counted.

Hillary...Hillary....Hillary. Richardson had it right all along. You and Bill DO NOT have an entitlement to the White House. I add mine to the many voices urging you to give it up already! I still don't trust even the thought of Bill being close to the White House again.

I am so sick of Obama. The only way I would ever vote for him would be if he was the VP on a Hillary Clinton ticket. As it turns out, he has no mystical intelligence, no experience and has never even held a productive job. From my point of view his candidacy is a hoax on America. Now we are dumbing down the Presidency along with everything else. No wonder we have lost our economic stateus. We are well on our way to becoming a third world country soon. We can put the blame squarly on our greeedy self serving politicians and corporations.

The news cycle people have kept this race alive. Why do you think this is called the "Clinton News Network". The media has this love affair with the Clintons that I don't understand. The Clintons are ruthless and will stop at nothing to get thier way. As far as a good thing for the party and country?? This primary is only good for one group, the Republicans. I just laugh at the rhetoric spewed by the two Democratic candidates. To try and couple Bush and McCain is hilarious. Please keep it heading my way.

Well folks - just an observation from Canada. All the other blogs are closed so I thought I'd write it here. I don't believe Hillary Clinton will step down tomorrow. I think she is getting all of her supporters to back her in NYC when she will say that she is continuing on - to the very, bitter end. I just can't see her quitting. But anyhow, Good Luck Obama supporters - I'd be behind you if I could.

We can swallow the dirt from the toilet but we can never swallow the dirt that Obama brought in this campaign. He's the big liar in American politics history, he will never win.

Jeez, Obama supporters. SHUT UP. It is time to start acting like you have just one ounce of sense. Bashing Hillary & Bill along with all her supporters aren't making you look like people that want to unify the part. When it comes to Nov., you wil be begging for Hillary's supporters and they won't be there.

By the way, you think all this "change" Obama talks about is going to happen? Use your head, change is just a word. The politicians have been around a lot longer than Obama and he will become their "yes, boy". That is if the American people are stupid enough to elect him.
What is he going to do about lobbyist - flash a lot of teeth - ask them nicely to pick up their marbles and go home? Fat chance of that!

Looks like Hillary is going to have a BIG win in South Dakota and a tight race in Montana. Proves once again, she is a stronger candiate than the "chosen one".

To the minority of popular vote Obama supporters............we the majority of popular vote Clinton supporters feel strongly that without the strong arming of the DNC rules committee - Clinton very well would have won the delegates race also. Your guy could not have done it without the DNC Rules committee help.

So, if not Clinton - McCain it will be! Obama does not have the character or qualities to be a President of these United States. No to anyone who supports and condones racism, white hatred and anti-American sentiment. Shame on the minority for supporting a person of that character!

And whether or not your parents ever taught any of you respect, Senator Clinton is still and will remain a Senator of the United States of America. Due respect from the minority is in order!

You have failed yourself Anderson in becoming another biased pro-Obama advocate.

Please tell Gloria Borgia her homophobia is pathetic, she has NO credibility, and should be very careful about "being sure" HC will bring the "women" back!

It is about an unvetted Obama, a totally corrupt DNC, and we are both women AND men of principle who are NOT going to come back...unless the DNC reverses Donna Brazille's RULES and that of the other 40 watt light bulb committee members. WE ARE FURIOUS AT THE DNC!

Obama was a compromise candidate for the Harvard Law Editorship...now he is an Affirmative Action beneficiary of Michigans Dem committee by recommending he get VOTES when he was not even on the ballot! A "compromise" President????

NEVER !

NEVER to the DNC Rules Committee

NEVER TO OBAMA

PARTY UNITY???

DREAM ON...WE AMERICAN DEMOCRATS are going to face the elephant in the Living Room......we want honesty, integrity, and justice toward Clinton!

Clinton OR Mc Cain in '08!

Listen folks, I am an Obama supporter, AND I WANT HILLARY AS OUR VP. Yes its been a rough campaign but thats just because there is so much at stake. An Obama/Clinton ticket would make a new dynasty of democrat control of America, and mark my words...THE GOP WILL SOON DIE. They will have to find a totally new identity to reach Americans, WHICH WOULD BE GREAT. The dream ticket would crush McCain very decisively!!

I really feel that the media targeted HRC, and judged her because her husband. Say what you want...but I'll either vote republican or not vote at all. All this talk of unity is a lot of BS. The Democratic party did injustice to Hillary, but yet they want her to be loyal.

I voted for Sen. Obama and I like Sen. Clinton. If the nomination goes in her favor I will vote for her in the GE.

I'm tired of paying $4.00 a gallon for gas
I'm tired of racial hatred
I'm tired of seeing people go without health care

Democrats who are the strongest and most loyal supporters of Hillary are the same Democrats--the majority of Democrats--who listen to Obama and look at his past and his miserably thin record of public service AND WILL NEVER VOTE FOR HIM AND WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SEE THAT SUCH A SLIMY PERSON NEVER BECOMES PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

Hillary, we trust you and will remain loyal to you and will contribute to you and vote for you at the top of the ticket. Do what you have to do, but do not accept Obama's invitation to join his ticket.

Being on his ticket is way too far beneath you. Way too far.

Why can't anyone see thru Obama?? He is all talk, no action and no plans!! What experience does he have that makes him think he is qualified and competent to be President of the United States in peril? I can't even believe how naive people in this country are!! Especially the "educated" ones. I am also educated, so I back Hillary all the way! If she isn't the best candidate for President, then we should just throw in the towel. Can't everyone see as plain as day that it takes more then just talk to run this country. She is even doing things while she is campaining to improve this country. If she isn't the candidate for election in the fall, I will not vote. I can't live with voting for either of the other 2 incompetents. Wake up America!!

I think Hillary Clinton should go all the way with this, after all she is the strongest candidate for the nominee and speaking for all the Clinton supporters in northern ms she should do whatever it takes even if it means tearning the demacrat party apart.....after the way she has been treated by the media and the way she was done about fl. and mi.she ought to think twice about respect for the demacrat party.....myself along with lots of others will vote for McCain if she don't win the nominee,,,Obama ought to ask her to be his runnig mate because he rode her back this far and he sure as hell needs someone to get him elected in November...this man has talked more about Martin Luther King than eveyone put together back in the 60s

Hillary,

don't back Barack Obama he stole this from you. He is losing support from women, rural voters, latinos. Let the college kids and the "black caucus" have the party. You are different people love you. you and bill can join the independent party. it is time for a real change we can believe in a viable third part.

Obama cannot win. let him go and lose he is a joke. The DNC stole this from you and the people. The Democrats have been exposed as having the most undemocratic nominating system. It shameful. Also, make sure you remember who your elected officials and super delegates supported so we can oust them. this is so far from over.

Don't pander to the news cycle folks who want a story to live and die in a few moments so they can go on to the next news story.

In my opinion, it is only the news folks and party worry warts who want this to end.

This has been a great thing for our country. And, it has been great for the Democratic Party. By all accounts there are more people involved in the primary process then we have ever had before.

This politician, Hillary Clinton, is writing a page for herself in the history books. She must keep going until the vote tally says she wins or loses. We would expect no less from a foot ball team in the play offs.

It is 4th and long in the 4th quarter with 9 seconds left on the clock. The score is Obama - 20, Hillary - 17. She has the ball on her 16 yard line with two time outs left.

Give her the chance to win or go down doing the best she can.

Of course!! Why wouldn't she do what ever she could to WIN?
I supported Senator Clinton until I woke up and realized she puts
her interests ahead of the party interest. My reason told me she would
thus put her interests as President before that of thee people.

I now support Senator Obama.

It is really amazing to notice how little some peopleon this tread cannot realize that this race is over and out! I undersatnd the good showing of Senator Clinton to a certain extend but in the background, she is aware this race is done. She should be concerned about paying her campaign debts and try to undersatnd how in hell did she loose this race after all.

Although the Democrats (Obama or Clinton) should take charge of the White House, I thing that the Republicans (McCain) will put up an unexpected good fight!
As Canadian Liberal voter/supoporter, I can't way to see the present adminiatration leaving the presidency.

Hillary was "cheated?" She wouldn't even be in the running if not for her husband.....sorry Clintonistas. She has no more "credentials," or "experience," than a number of other prominent women that, if they would have run for the nomination, would have been more likely to have run a stronger race against Obama. What angers me the most is how she and many of her supporters frequently begin to blame everyone and everything for her demise...... except for the candidate herself.....just makes women look like whiners, which we aren't! McCain's "kind" words are merely an attempt to win favor with her disgruntled followers. If those ardent Clinton followers are so shallow that they are willing to vote to keep the rest of us in an endless war, continue the "democratization" of the rest of the middle east (remember, bomb....bomb...bomb....bomb, bomb Iran), continue to give tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans and chance that at least 2 right-leaning supreme court judges might be appointed, then the democratic party wasn't a good fit for them anyway. Clinton on the ticket with Obama isn't a dream....it is merely a reason for every Independent to find favor with the Repubs.

I have been a fervent Barack supporter throughout this campaign. I started with a lot of respect for Hillary, but after listening to a lot of her arguments she began to drive me crazy. It seems that Clinton supporters are having this same reaction to Barack.

I don't know exactly why, but I think as a nation we get OCD and become too narrowly focused. Stubbornness on having such distain for one another is not going to help us. Respecting each other’s opinion, even if we completely disagree, can be difficult, but is vital to our culture. It takes practice and will only help us to understand the world better and learn what we need to do as a nation to succeed.

I think it would be an extremely powerful statement as a party and nation if we can repair the relationship between the two camps. With a combined message that focuses on the positive a Barack/Hillary ticket could be incredible. I am willing to forgive and I hope that Hillary supporters are willing to forgive too. Let’s move past these stupid arguments. I believe we can change. Let’s grow and continue advancing our country or we will start collapsing. That's what I'm voting for!

Hillary has to take it all the way to Denver if she is ever to become President. If Hillary decided to become a VP for Obama, she will not be able to run as President again until 2016, provided that Obama is a two term President.
It doesn't seem feasible that she would be a candidate in 2016.

Stay in there Hillary it isn't over yet.

What a pity the way candidate supporters act like their votes have no effect on their daily lives. They are willing to vote for four more years of a failing economy, poor foreign relation, and unacceptable education funding. Is it posturing or will they jump from the frying pan into the fire, because their first choice for president failed the get the nomination? This is not a popularity contest or a football game. This decision will last for four years. We must unite to put a democrat in office this November.

They'll respond by attempting to move the goal posts yet again. Just like they have after every primary victory of Obama's.

I am proud to say I am a supporter for Hillary Clinton and I really don't care what some of the Obama supporters here may think or have to say. I can not believe some of the comments here by Obama fans. You know if you don't like Hillary or you don't think she is the best candidate, then don't vote for her. Instead you degrade her like she is less than a human being. Do you really think Obama is not a politician just like her but with a different spin? Did you not notice he did not come to her defense when that priest said the things he said and the people of that church danced and cheered? In a church? No instead, he withdrew his membership from his church to distance himself and protect the church. Where are people's morals? I hope when Obama asks Hillary for her support in the general election, she tells him no and he falls flat on his face. He will not get my vote!!!

Few residents, few delegates, few changes.

Other news organizations are reporting that Hillary has instructed most of her campaign workers to suspend their activities without pay and "await futher instructions." Sounds like they're getting ready to turn off the lights and lock the doors. Exit stage left...... :)

In sport, and this is a sport to these guys. If your team has 400 yards in a football game and 3 points and the opposing team has 200 yards and 7 points the team with the most points win.

If you agreed with two other competitors NOT to compete in a race such as Michigan and Florida, then after you agreed you showed up anyway. How can you claim victory? YOU AGREED NOT TO COMPETE WHICH MEANS THERE WAS NO COMPETITON.

Florida voted for Hillary at a time when NO ONE knew who Obama was or what he stood for. Florida (the state which I am from) voted by the name because THERE WAS NO COMPETITION.

I supported Hilary, but not anymore. She is worse than anyone McCain has to worry about and that includes George Bush. She’s complaining about the media bias. Obama had McCain, Bush, GOP, Pastor, Hilary, and a popular past President all against or hurting him and he still prevailed.

Senator Obama, why are you being soft? It is time to man up and stop being scared of Hillary (stop walking on eggs shells when you speak of her).

The time is now to show strength!

As a strong, independent woman, I support Senator Obama. Hillary's loss has nothing to do with her gender. The women who keep complaining about her treatment make her appear weak. If you care anything at all about women's issues, you will support Obama--not the man who promises to appoint conservative judges.

I just love to see the arguments among the Dems. The Repub candidate is making hay while you fight. I hope it lasts until the convention. The clowns at the top of the Dem party have no clue. The Dem candidates don't either.

Thanks for the head start.

Clinton will take South Dakota and when people from Montana wake up and think about Obama's card carrying membership in a hate filled church - a church that spewed anti-Americanisms - they'll think twice about Obama - actually, they should think 4 and 5 times about what man is really all about - and it's not change.

Notice how the media has begun to treat her popular vote argument the same way they treat reasonable statements? I guess in this country if you repeat a lie enough times, it can become fact.
