What bothered me most about Bill Clinton's sexual escapades when he was President, were the weird sexual things he did in the Oval Office itself. To me, that was like abusing the flag, and indicated to me that he had no real respect for the office he held or for his country. He used to be very glib and charming, but that is surface stuff. If he had any real self-respect, he would not have done the things he did in the Oval Office. Why could he not have done them anyplace else but there? I wonder what a psychiatrist would make of it, if they were not afraid to speak out about it, as so many people are. Because of Clinton's past behavior, I do not find it hard to believe that he has been behaving irresponsibly again, and if it is true, then I see no reason why a journalist should not report it.

I am always amazed at those who are now slamming the Clintons are the very ones that gained so much during the eight years Mr. Clinton was President. Will all those who advanced during those 8 years please stand in line to donate all their worldly goods and monies accumulated during that time to the homeless in Louisiana and to the Food Banks which are losing ground daily?
I didn't think so.

If Bill sincerely wants to know who's not showing Hillary respect then he should just look in the mirror.
Purdums report confirms my fears about the Clintons:
1. Is it Bill who's plunging Hillarys camp into debt?
2. If Bill and Hillary have failed to show that they can manage a
campaign budget how ever will they handle the US budget?
3. I think Bills motorcade should not only be searched for women
without IDs but also for bags containing seeds of bitterness &
 disunity.
BILL LEAVE HILLARY ALONE!

I'm sure Obama will be blamed for this article and he didn't have anything to do with it. I wish the media would really report what is meaningful to the people instead of stuff that will tear someone down. Bill Clinton has probably lost more sense over the years than many people ever had in the first place. I'd still bet on him being able to connect the dots unlike some people I know.

People have been saying how negative Obama voters are, but on May 31, the nation watched and saw who the animalistic, hateful people were.

No disrespect, but Clinton's supporters "showed out" at the rules convention. Grown people acting like rabid individuals.

I dare anyone to dispute this fact. CNN post this. It's nothing but the truth.

This may be part of the cause. But, basically he has antisocial personality disorder traits such as evelvated self importance, sense of entitlement, promiscuity, tendency to lie, and blaming of others for what is his own doing. His wife has the same problem but cries rather than turn red and angery in public.

Why are people attacking the messenger? This is all very reasonable and perfectly fits the Clinton pattern we all know.

I was glad to see the financial ties as the Clintons' recent fortune (even without the missing 2007 tax return) begs for more investigation into library donors, presidential pardons, and Hillary's earmarks.

I only wish he had included Bill's fees as lobbyist for other governments--i.e. $800,000 from Colombia for lobbying for CAFTA. I'm still surprised how the media overlooked it (Obama, of course, just wanted to run on his issues and never brought up ANY dirt, past or present, on the Clintons. Imo, that was too bad.)

As to whether this is pertinent to Sen Clinton's campaign, I seem to recall that Geraldine Ferraro went down in part because of her husband's business shenanigans - of course it appeared that was a participant to some degree.

So how much do we need to vet a candidate's spouse?

Will Cindy McCain undergo the same scrutiny?

We'll have to wait and see...

According to the news...Hillary is soon to give up. If that is in fact the case, it won't matter what she says or how she tries to back Obama - I will switch to the Republican's candidate. I don't think Mr. Obama...nor the rest of the party leaders in Washington realize - I don't think they will get many of us. They have not made wise decisions in backing a candidate - unless they don't mind that the Democrats won't be in office until 2010 - when Hillary runs again! I'm actually starting to "listen" and maybe pulling out of Iraq right now would be a mistake - sounds like we're winning. If Mr. Obama gets in office - we'll lose as well.

It isn't just the accusations, but how you handle them that defines you as a man. Last week when GW was criticized by his former press chief...the administration ended up finger-pointing and calling names instead of flat out stating these allegations are 100% false. No difference here.

Like this is BIG news... he was a womanizer in ARK he was just plain discusting as a president, and made a mockery of the Presidential Office, and of course Hillary was oblivious to what he did... and "she stood by her man" ... then I wouldn't want her any were near the presidency... she knew, she always knew... but she like him are driven and will do and say anything to get what they want... I just wish she would go away quietly, but we all know this will not happen and I surely hope no one bails her out of the millions she owes... let her and Billy boy pay back the debt. But again we know she will say I will get out of the campaign but Obama needs to help me with my debt. Same old Clinton senario.

The Clintons, Bush, McCain all the same old tired politics that keep this country mired in corrupted muck. Obama is a refreshing change. If the worse they can throw at Obama is his church fine. I am sure many have tried to find something racist or terrible that Obama has said and done and NOTHING. So they try to judge him by his church. The Clintons lie and are power hungry, McBush McSame McCain is a Warmonger and thinks only in terms of the military so we will always be at war with somebody. The best choice is OBAMA

Where there is smoke there is fire and the Clinton's do have a smokey past. Clinton was a good President but we had 8 years of Bush because of Bill. (regardless of whether he was right or wrong--it was a stupid distraction that played right into his enemies hands). Enough with the Clintons and 4 more years of the same with John Mc Cain. I am ready for a new player!

This was a fair topic and well researched. Why SHOULDN'T we know about the jet-set "fast lane" preferences of Bill Clinton if he plans to be "First Gentleman"? Clearly, he is unsuited for the role. Plus, he does not seem to have learned from past mistakes at all.

I'm just curious. Did Vanity Fair sit on this story until it couldn't influence the election? The timing makes it seem "yes".

not a good way to start his career (he's either green or pathetic). half of hillary's supporters are getting more angered by the minute. they'll look for an alternative to obama. either hillary as an independant or mccain as a last result. that's about half of the democratic party. superdelegates should think long and hard about it. obama only won his homestate because he got all his opponents disqualified. he was the only one on the ticket! this is the NEW washington he preaches about? no thanks.

A person who is a heart patient does have a change in behaviour it does not take a doctor to know that. I am sure that Pres Clinton also may have outburst because of the heart surgery. But I wonder if reporters went after Pres Clinton knowing this that he would say things that did not sound right

Sen. Obama says that America is strengthening Iran. Sen. Obama's policy is upside down and inside out. The whole world should look into what the leaders of Iran are saying and doing and doing to their own childern.

It's about the time good people of Moderate Muslm countires speak up. Good people are made to feel guilty of their freedom and are in the brink of giving up hard fought freedome and the future for their children for a few angry leaders or the regimes that are crook and delusional and dangerous.

While people are trying to compare obama's "relationship" with is pastor why aren't you looking at the fact that hillary stayed with her husband even after he disrespected her in the most horrible way. why you ask? because she knew one day she'd be running for president. also barack didn't SLEEP with his pastor hillary lays in the same bed with this man (and even if she doesn't) and sees him day in and day out obama does not see his former pastor everyday but he does face his wife. so if anyone needs to talk about judgement then feel free to do so but understand the two people you are comparing when you do make these comparisons. i find the first choice to be a better one.

OBAMA 08/12 just think: GOOD LIVING FOR EVERYONE!!!!!

Texican,

You poor disillusioned boy. The war hero McCain who didn't save any lives, but was shot down and captured in a failed mission will be shot down again in another failed mission. If that's the kind of leadership you want, well yahoo! In your dreams. How's that for a kick in the pants.

As for Bill and Hill, they deserve each other.

This piece of 'journalism' is full of innuendo and hearsay with no hard evidence. Is anyone really surprized with this piece of trash considering how the press has behaved during the primary? If I were President Clinton, I would sue the pants off this guy and the mag.

Dee Dee should have a sit down with her man and tell him what an idiot he is.

Sure, Bill Clinton did see a lot of women on the road. They were there to see him speak and some may have been campaign people. Bet Senator Obama saw a lot of women and maybe even some men in the back rooms while he has been on the road. I heard that he was using street drugs to keep up his energy.
This piece of s who wrote this did it for the money. End of story.
The Obama people are the ones who should be looked at for their behavior.

This just shows, once again, how these Clintons consider themselves above the rules for the rest of us. From fuzzy math to dubious semantics about the meaning of "is" - the Clintons really expect us to buy whatever garbage they put forth for why they do what they do.

The article was a shocker... you mean Bill spins information to make himself look good? Is that where Hillary gets it from? Seems like the Clintons really deserve each other. Fortunately WE THE PEOPLE have grown to know that we do not deserve them.
