Some Obama supporters have asked for an explanation of how Hilllary Clinton is more electable in the GE, if she could not even win the democratic primary.

Well.... The general election appeals to the vote of ALL of Americans- the primary is preaching to the choir in that the candidate must ONLY appeal to the DEMS themselves. That is, of COURSE a DEM will win the DEM primary. But to win the GE, that candidate must win over the OTHER side. A radical left winger may appeal to SOME of the Democrats (OBama barely crossed over 50% appeal in his own party)- but generally a moderate, centrist, populist has more crossover appeal- or is less repugnant to the Republicans.

Also, Obama has a tiny lead- and don't forget the GE has NO caucus states. So a few votes won't be magnified as they were in this primary. That is the main reason that Obama squeaked ahead. He loses that advantage in the GE.

Also, Obama won't be able to strong-arm and cheat his way into victories like he did in the caucus states.

The African Americans won't be able to bully the polpulace into installing the Black candidate. In the GE, the voters DO indeed get to decide.

Obama started strong and is now limping along. Clinton barely got out of the gate and now she is soaring.

And many OTHER reasons to mention.

CNN, you really need to take off the story that appears below this one in the ticker about her conceding as it has been proven false. Some reliable news source you guys have become. This kinda goes along with the fact that you let Roland Martin give his opinion on anything...it's just wrong!

I think Hillary is a formidable person and should be recognized as such and congratulated for her strong run for this office. I also believe Obama is one very intelligent, decent young man and the way he ran his campaign to came up so quickly shows remarkable organiza- tional skills. I believe he has the integrity to appoint a strong cabinet to advise him well in running the country - this is crucial and I feel confident he will do superbly in this regard. I HOPE he does not appoint anyone because they are black, white or purple, femail or male, but the BEST for the country. We need ALL the help we can get.

Let me say I have bounced back and forth throughout this campaign as to whom I would like to see be the final nominee; I belive both would be good for our country. And I truly CANNOT understand how supporters of either can say they would not vote for the other if their choice didn't win. Talk about blatant ignorance! Talk about shooting ourselves in the foot! We cannot afford immature vengence because we couldn't have our way! I say grow up Democrates! We cannot afford another Bush in the Whitehouse! We'll be destitute with 4 more years of this lack of leadership!

One more point. I would like to see Obama and Hillary consider her as a candidate on the Supreme Court. She would be excellent for that position and could be helpful to this country for much longer than 8 years - PLEASE consider this!

Best regards and high accolades to both Hillary and Barak!

Come on, superdelegates. The sooner, the better. You HAVE to spell it out for her, big time. And to all of her supporters who are astute enough to be concerned that she may well split the party into November, switch to Obama. Today!

Let's finish the last two primaries!

Every primary/caucus should take place every presidential election year. Period. Otherwise, it is one side or the other conniving to stop the normal process to their benefit.

The best way to judge an election is by counting popular votes. One vote counted for each vote cast.

No delegates, no super-delegates (what will they think of next?), no more "electoral college."

This seems to be an unfamiliar way to do things, doesn't it?

Maybe we need to ask our kids which is fair?

The media needs to stop influencing and even controlling the elections.

Shut-up, CNN! And the rest of you! So irritating!

CNN: I am appalled that you would give the Vanity Fair Tabloid piece any legs. What trash!! Over these months I have watched you systematically trash her. Journalism and fairness at it finenest. I am most certain you have lost viewership over your own devisive, slanted, biased opinion. Among friends we have asked, who is paying the media for Obama mania. I no longer believe in even half of what comes out of your mouths CNN. I still reflect on the question...what has been in it for you to push this campaign to Obamaland. You are not that great at what you do, not subtle enough. We may very well lose this campaign to War and Wealth...The media deserves so much credit for this behavior. I hope you are proud!!

Go Hillary! It the DNC and the Democratic Leadership give the nomination to Obama, it will reveal what I have long suspected about the Democratic Party and that is that they are more concerned about symbolism, appeasing constituencies and protecting their own power than they are about WINNING. Republicans are fighting for the heart and soul of this country and they are winning. I heard Congressman Clyburn this morning on TV talking about Obama's nomination coinciding with MLK's "I have a dream" speech. Let's face it, saying something like that alone will turn off some voters, who like it or not, we will need in order to win in November. Let's get a Democrat in the White House who can be elected to end the war, improve the economy, pick supreme court justices who will preserve affirmative action and a woman's right to choose. If you want MLK symbolism, contribute to the MLK monument, just as I have. They still need donations.

You know this news media is something else. They have dictated this election from the beginning and continue to do so. Until I hear from Hillary herself say she is conceeding I am not going to believe anything they say. There are those who want her to quit but I for one appreciate her tenascity in this fight. I want a fighter in my corner. Even if she does not win this she has shown that she will go the distance and I respect that even though i don't agree with everything, she is my candidate and it is my choice not the DNC or Obama supporters who I vote for, if she does not make it I will cast my vote for McCain like 1000's mayabe millions are going to do. I'll take my chances on McCain he will only run 1 term. We just don't trust Obama he has too many skeltons in his closet.

About the next anti christ
Like Hitler, who was one of history's antichrist archetypes, he will have great charisma & speaking ability, "a mouth speaking great things".

Senator Clinton, just bow out gracefully and go home to Arkansas where you and President Clinton belong. You have done nothing short of ruining the party and you have no one to blame but yourself, and your staff. From the very beginning, you thought the Democratic nomination was in the bag and that you would become the next President because of what President Bush and VP Cheney have done to this country You and your husband did not expect what Senator O'Bama has brought to this process.....new leadership with fresh ideas and someone who cares about us, the common folks. It's a no brainer the next President will be a Democrat. This election is for the Democrats to lose which I cannot see them doing. Senator O'Bama will win at least 40 states this November, including Virginia

Stop your crying and be careful you haven't runined your own political career with everything you've said and done....GO HOME!

SADLY, the Clinton campaign does not know what the word "gracious" means. I believe that, she has stayed in this 'fight' to make a case for 2012. Clinton's plan was to do as much damage as possible to Sen. Obama and the Democratic party. This is all pathetic, but true.

Once upon a time, I respected the Clintons. No longer. They just do not 'get' that people have not supported them. With South Dakota and Montana's votes for Sen. Obama today, he will be the nominee...... the end.

PLEASE SOUTH DAKOTA AND MONTANA CAST OUR VOTES FOR SEN. OBAMA AND END THIS MADNESS!

Hillary, stop this insanity. Your ego has outweighed common sense and destroyed any integrity you might have had.
The party needs to unite, yet you are doing everything you can to
destroy it.
You brought this negativity on yourself with the way you and Bill
conducted your campaign. It is time to stop the dirty politics and
step aside.

I think the Clintons are doing this on purpose just to make sure they are front and center. Look at all these postings from CNN. They are ALL about Hillary. Hillary, Hillary, Hillary. This is a joke. When will the media understand that they are once again being manipulated.

You think Obama is going to take over the market place and reduce prices? You think he isn't going to raise your taxes and on business so there will be more job losses.? I don't understand why some people think he will be your surrogate daddy. It will be a cold day in he** when he tells me what I can eat, drive or set my thermostat at.
Next thing he'll be trying to do is give us ration cards. Puppet for the lefty socialists. No way.

Anyone who cares for their country would not put their party in turmoil by keeping their campaign in suspended animation. It can only cause more damage not heal.

Hillary is probably going to go as an independent something or other although she's gonna have to do something about all that debt.

I hope she does form a new independent party then all 50 or so of her less educated, bitter old women can follow her thru the gates of hell. Bill can hang out in the hotel lobbies and bars (you have noticed his very large very red nose right?) and pick up sweet young things by night and "campaign" by day.

What a sick group of people.

Still trying to run Hillary out up until the last day of the primaries.

I am no longer a democrat. I am a gay 30 year old male that will not vote for a person who is not a patriot to the United States. You Obama lovers can have Barack Obama.

Hillary/Reagan Dems for McCain all the way.

At least McCain does not hang around radicals, racists, and terrorists.

Screw Democrats... I'm now a Log Cabin Republican or Independent.

Another Clinton campaign tactic. The reality of it is the numbers are not there. The superdelegates are well aware of what is going on and they will shut her down tomorrow for sure.

Hank, you voting for the platform or against the person?
After all, Senator Clinton and Obama have virtually identical platforms. And, they're totally opposite of Senator McCain. Just wondering what your motivation is?

I do think that Anthony from Morgantown may be hitting on something, although it also could be alonshot theory.

And, as much as I've gotten hooked into this, why don't we just go about our day and see what she says? Then, we can react. Until then, go back to work.

Crazy!!! You break news, then take it back. Guess your Obama lovers got it wrong and now you have to backtrack. You call yourself the "best political team", some joke! You've been in the tank with Obama for months and millions of us have seen it and are now watching Fox News. At least they have given Hillary the respect she deserves,

Obama supporters, grow up! Act like adults or have you drank too much kool-aid. He is leading you over the cliff. Come Nov. when McCain wins because Obama is such a liar and phony, what will you have to say then? Are you going to blame Hillary?

Most of you sound just like the radical friends Obama surrounds himself with. Filled with hate for whites and ALL AMERICANS
