Clinton told New York lawmakers Tuesday she's open to serving as VP.

(CNN) - Sen. Hillary Clinton is willing to take the vice presidential slot on a Barack Obama presidential ticket, New York lawmakers told CNN.

CNN first reported Monday that Clinton was signaling the Obama campaign of her interest.

Two New York lawmakers told CNN's Candy Crowley that Clinton told them she was open to being Obama's running mate during a conference call.

One of the lawmakers said that former President Bill Clinton has been pushing the idea privately for several weeks.

Earlier, Rep. Charles Rangel, D-New York, told CNN that "I have reason to believe she is open to the V.P. slot."

On Monday, Obama insiders told CNN's Suzanne Malveaux that the campaign had received signals via informal channels that Clinton would be willing to serve as Obama's running mate. Clinton and Obama go into the final two primaries of the Democratic nomination fight Tuesday with Obama leading in delegate totals, although the results in South Dakota and Montana won't give him the 2,118 delegates he needs to secure the nomination.

Instead, the Illinois senator must depend on superdelegates - party insiders and elected officials - to put him over the top. Obama picked up 12 superdelegates on Tuesday, including former President Jimmy Carter, leaving him just 30 delegates short of securing the nomination. Thirty-one delegates are at stake in Tuesday's primaries.

the clintons shame knows no band, they are very, very selfish

Sure   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

Hillary for Secy of State (perfect for her and Bill) or go back to the senate and wait for a Supreme Court position.

VP – Webb, Hagel or Bloomberg

allen   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

Please for Heaven's sake, just go away already. Please. It's really getting to be a bit much. If her behaviour is any indication of the type of president she could have been then case closed- Hillary you never had a chance.

Time4change   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

If she hadnt threw all this muck onto barack attacking him like it was a general election and she was a Repub. with all this pastor non-sense and saying he cant win the general.
It would been a swell idea but now she can only hope for a cabinet spot if that!
because all i see for eight years is bill and Hillary trying to undermine barack and that wont work for our nation.

gas here washington state is now at 4.09
its past time for change

Obama 08

Steve in DC   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

As much as I hate to imagine the idea....together they would crush McCain. I can only imagine what it would be like to have her and Bill running around the white house!

andrew houston   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

Congrats Obama on his nomination. The only way, he'll be able to Win this Nov. is with Hillary as VP, else, many Democrats will sit it out or vote McCain. The other factor is the Latino vote...many prefer and trust Hillary! Obama'd better choose Hillary as VP, if he wanna stay 8 Years in the White House! ...and Hillary can be President starting 2016, for another 8 years! Time to take back America from the NeoConns! We've had enough! We want thenext 16 years for/as/by Democrats...as was in he Bill Clinton era! God Bless America!

Liberal   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

I am glad that she's open to this, because at the end of the day, it's democrats versus republicans, not democrats versus democrats. If we cannot unify this party, then how do we expect to unify this nation?

FreshAir   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

dont do it, make her threaten to tear up the party. she'll never do it. unless she wants to be hated forever.

Virgie   June 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm ET

Me too. I hate the idea of her being his VP. Honestly I don't trust her.

JB   June 3rd, 2008 4:09 pm ET

Her being on the ticket takes away all of Obama's credibility. How can you be the candidate for change when your VP–who is one heartbeat away from the Oval Office–is the definition of an old school politician and who's husband an old ex-president will be interfering constantly?

Say bye to those independents Obama-Clinton.

Go Hillary   June 3rd, 2008 4:09 pm ET

If Obama does NOT offer her the VP slot, he will be dooming his fate and all of Hillary's supporters will say, "I told you so."

Mark   June 3rd, 2008 4:09 pm ET

I think Obama and his team should be given the time and independence to deliberate on this important issue. Hillary should not try to force him to make any decision in her favor.

Pol   June 3rd, 2008 4:09 pm ET

Nooooo! Please, do not destroy what was created by Obama campaign for many months. You will LOOSE (not gain) MILLIONS of votes.

Jane   June 3rd, 2008 4:09 pm ET

She adds nothing to the ticket. Obama needs someone like Jim Webb with military and defense experience.

Josh   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

If it brings unity... maybe. I still think Obama could do much better than her. But hey, I'm not an expert.

Fav, Colorado   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Although I'd prefer to be President, i suppose it's best that you be VP – for the sake of teaching Obama i.e. the rookie, some lessons on patriotism, race, honor and common sense!!!

Noel   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

I would loose all respect for Barack Obama is she becomes his VP. She is a back stabber.

Bill PA   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Hillary must settle for the #2 spot.
The tide of the black folks has pushed her to over the edge.
The superdelagates are real losers in my opinion.
They can't stand to see a women become President.

Clare in Orlando, FL   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Obama can win this without HRC. I pray that he chooses a Latino or a Female, or John Edwards.

DONT DO IT   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

She has waaaaaaaaay too much baggage!

We need change, not a continued DYNASTY!

We all know Bill will be sleeping over if Hillary's in the Whitehouse

Pam   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

I hope Obama's smarter than that. If she and Bill are part of Obama's administration, they will do anything and everything to undermine him so she can run against him in 2012. And he'd better watch his back...

Tom   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

I am not a fan of the Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama ticket, but if it is the only way to keep Clinton supporters happy, then what other option is there?

Patricia   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

If there's a God – please NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Chief   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

After that JFK remark she can go to hell.

Christina, Chicago, IL   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Amen to that Big "O". I don't want to see her on the ticket at all. It will be a definite win in the fall though if she is. I'm still not buying all these Hillary supporters saying they're voting for McCain. If you're a democrat then you're a democrat plain and simple. You don't vote AGAINST your own principles just because your candidate didn't win. Tonight could be the night for Obama...so excited!

bmark   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

oh pls pls do not let her have the position. we need new ideas not her. I pray he would consider others!!!

Bob Indianapolis, IN   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid!

Dwayne Minnesota   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

I don't like it. It will be hard for OBAMA to control the Clinton's. Something like what happened with Buss and the Dick.

john   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

I am a obama supporter and i think they wound will really kill McCain. The bottom line is to beat McCain. Some people keep worrying about personallties instead of winning. You have to respect all them women who worked hard. The other stiffs can't bring anything to the ticket.

No HILLBILLY   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

HELL TO DA NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Stephanie, Virginia   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

I am appalled that she is even being considered – we don't need to be saddled with Clinton scandals. She might bring some people with her but she will turn the repubs out to vote against her in droves.

It would also put me in a difficult position – I totally support Obama, and I have since over a year ago. I have given time, money, made phone calls, etc. I don't think I could in good conscience ask people to vote for Hillary Clinton – I don't trust her, I don't like her, and she has constantly mismanaged her campaign and cried sexism every time someone calls her on her bad behavior.

If you want to kill this new movement we've built, put her on the ticket.

Akif Noor   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

I don't thing its a good idea!!! Obama needs to go with fresh VP with new kind of politics leaving behind the old one with old people...

Voter   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Yeah right she is waiting for Obama to get shot so she become the president hahahahahhhh.... not gonna happen

Denial   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

hmmm .... not a bad idea .. put Obama will have to weigh the pro vs the cons ...

they are other persons he can choose besides Hilary ...

I hope she campaigns for him .. even though she doesn't get it ...

t-bone   June 3rd, 2008 4:07 pm ET

"Serving as Barack's running mate", CNN? SERVING???

I think you meant to say "Obama can't win without her".

Obama 2008   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

No, she will not let him sleep in peace

Michelle   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Girl from Louisiana, I agree with you. At first I was for Hillary and against Obama, then switched my opinion because of the negative campaign she was running. I believe he can win without her.

Dan (Redmond, WA)   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

The only reason I would prefer that ticket is if all of Hillary's supporters will truly stay home or vote for McCain on election day.
Otherwise, the Clintons are a distraction in the White House that Obama doesn't need.
Can you see Bill Clinton sitting idly by? I can't. And that is a problem.

G'Obama '08   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Two independents with Republican leanings just told me this morning there is only one way they would absolutely vote for McCain . . . Obama takes Hillary as his VP. Don't do it, Barack!!!

Tom   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Obama promised a change is Washington politics -Hillary as VP is same old BS in washington – Jim Webb is the best

Rob - Georgia   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Reality Check: He can't win without her on the ticket. It's as simple as that.

andrew s. rostolder   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

if obama picks you for his running mate it will have been an extreme tacticle error. oh, yeah, i forgot, never count the clintons out. more then one way to skin an obama

jes   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Please, I hope this is not true! If she say yes to that incompetent, arrogant jerk she will loose a great deal of respect from so many supporters including me!

Yes we can!   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

this is MESSED up!....she did all this screaming and crying for WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....he DOESN'T NEED HER ON THE TIX AND NOW IT'S GOING TO MAKE HIM LOOK BAD IF HE DOESN'T OFFER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SHAME ON HILLARY......THIS IS REALLY MESSED UP!!

JP   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Clintons represents old politics.
If she came to the table alone, I think it could possibly be worked out. Bill is a liability, and Obama's campaign will be scrutinized enough.
I think he should offer her a cabinet position.

Pamela, Detroit, MI   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Again an example of the privilege Hillary believes is owed to her. After all the race baiting comments and the disrespect of not conceding before angling for the VP slot is too much! Pick someone who knows how to bow out gracefully! With all of the conflicting news stories today it sounds like she cannot even control her campaign or herself.

felice, Fredericksburg, VA   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

The nerve of her! Barack can select whoever he would like to be his running mate. Someone that he can TRUST and work with. Somehow that does not describe her. Besides there would be so much continued drama as long as the Clintons are anywhere near the WH..... GO AWAY already!

GL   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Let's hope Obama has sense enough to NOT ask her to be VP. After six months of hyper-crappy media coverage of this entire process, I would be very disappointed to see concessions made to the loser of the contest. What kind of change is that? Part of Obama's appeal is that he is not Clinton, not Bush, not McSame...

Obama/Anyone but Clinton '08

RRO   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Obama needs her more than she needs to be VP. She could stay in Senate, and use her base to advance, but the party needs her on the ticket if they are to stand a chance of winning.

Obama/Clinton 08

DJ - Texas   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

I pray to God that the doesn't happen... It's not time to go soft... Obama doesn't need her to win.

Remember, she lost after trying every trick in the book to destroy our nominee. And, then there is Bill...

Pray hard people...

Just Great   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Go ahead and take her, Obama. Go against everything your campaign has stood for. I won't vote for Hillary as the nominee or as the vp. Hillary on the ticket means I vote for McCain.

An Independent Hillary   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Although I would prefer the ticket to be the other way around, this is probably what's best for the Democratic party and ultimately the country. Hopefully Obama will place Hillary in the VP slot. That would be an unbeatable combination – and Hillary could really go after McCain too!

jimmy   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Obama has always maintained that this election is not about him, Hillary or Maccain, and if he believes this, I seen no harm in bringing her as a VP choice. Personnally I can't think of anyone more qualified or more deserving.

The elephant in the room   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Hillary has humbled herself to be open for the Veep spot. Let's be humble and welcome Hillary and her supporters. There is no need Obama supporters to be arrogant because remember we are on the same team. That goes for Hillary supporters too. It's time to let bygones be bygones and win the election then restore America. This is coming from an Obama supporter who is looking at the big picture.

Obama/ Clinton 08!!

TREY   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

wow....there's actually gonna be a BLACK MAN as the prez...this is history!!!!!

Roland   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

God forbid.

Proud US Army Combat Veteran   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Whoa. This is interesting, considering how bitter HRC supporters are.

Example: I work for a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that Obama learned his organizing skills from, and we were reaching out to simply lend support to anybody needing resources.

I received an email from a HRC for Prez Meetup organizer, who said since our group had "ties" with Obama, she would be unable to send me any more emails, and wished me good luck.

What kinda crap is that?

Are we not all Democrats? Progressives? Liberals? Whatever the label, aren't we tired of the past 8 years?

And now I have to be involuntarily drafted into the "Operation Democratic Freedom" campaign, because of the way HRC and Obama supporters are conducting themselves?

This is ridiculous.

How's Bob Barr doing?

linda   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Seriously, did anyone believe she wasn't...hahaha

If this lady can't be first, she will definitelty take 2nd. But make no mistake about it, Hillary Clinton wants to be the president, and unfortunately for Obama and the rest of us, she's not likely to give up that long sought quest even as the vice president.

Offering VP to HRC would be like offering drugs to an addict...haha

Jason   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

She wishes! Obama is way to smart to pick her as a VP. Crazy Clintonites that consititute roughly 5% of her constituency that claim they will vote for McCain if she's not on the ticket can go to hell. No threat that small number of idiots can make will derail the movement!

enomisa   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Honey, you will be doing all the work.

Obama sucks.

I would rather write you in in NOV.

You are the best

Adam   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

I sincerely hope that this is false. Even if she is the running mate, I doubt her strongest supporters will come home just because she is the running mate.

ed   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

if i were her, i would refuse the job as he needs her to win in nov. but she does not need him. i would fight it out at the convention. i for one will not vote for him even if she is the vp, i will write her name in on the ballot as will many more, if all her supporters do that she will win and beat both of them.

Rk   June 3rd, 2008 4:06 pm ET

NO! NO! NO! She is still hoping some lunatic will bump off Obama...Hook or by crook or by divine or lunatic intervention, she wants to be President.

SheisEvil   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Hell no who wants to see this evil woman for four to eight years. If Obama picks her as his V.P he will lose my Vote.

Barbara - 65 yr old white female in NC   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Obama should listen carefully to the folks that have worked closely with the Clintons in the past before he makes HIS decision.

al/Alabama   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Her behavior has been despicable. She does not deserve to be VP. Besides, she refuses to admit she has lost the primary race.

EBK   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

This is funny. First she offers Obama the VP position and now she's says she's open to it. You are not going to be on that ticket HillBilly. Just go to your mansion, hang out with your fancy friends and enjoy the little dignity you have left.

Rus in St. Paul, MN   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

I can just see the first debate now with McCain and Obama:

McCain – Well, according to your vice-president, both she and I are more qualified to be president than you are.

Obama – Um.....

There has been a lot said in this campaign by Hillary and Bill that will come back to haunt Obama in the run against McCain and could weaken the democratic ticket as well honestly.

mhm   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Ok, now lets see where Obama's prioritys lie. If he wants the Democrats to win, he will put her on the ticket. If he wants the country to have the best possible Vice President, then he will put her on the ticket. But if he wants to preserve his future legacy and ego, he will not. Lets see.

David- Columbia SC   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

I don't like the idea because of how she acted towards FL & MI when she really played unfair in breaking the rules but if it will help I'm for it. I think that she has more power off the ticket personally but het if thats what Obama and she wants I want it too.
We are behind you Obama!!

I'm for Barack, but would be in favor of Hillary being his VP. I think it would be a very strong ticket, but Bill is going to have to be quiet and not get involved AT ALL since he has a hard time controlling his bad manners.

People: Put aside all the differences we have and let the next President of the United States, Barack Obama, unite US.

HSNP   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

That's the only way he's getting my vote.

Terry   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

The ONLY way I will vote for Nobama is if Hillary is the VP. That is the only way he can win in November anyway. If Hillary isn't VP then I will either write her in or vote for McCain. NO WAY will I vote for someone who gives good speeches, has no experience or ideas on solving problems other than saying the word "change" one million times, and who has the most rude and hate filled supporters of all three of the candidates.

I didn't drink the Koolaid...

Jeremy, Houston TX   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

What she's done here is interesting. By coming out and essentially asking for the spot, she knows that Obama will have an even tougher time winning over her supporters if he says no. I don't care for her all that much, but you have to give her credit for tenacity. One way or another she's going to bull dog herself into a position in the White House.

Nathan Johnson   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Heck no!!!! This the same man that you called "naive" and does not have enough experience to run the country and now you want to be his running mate. Senator Obama do not take the bait. She will be a major thorn in your side.

Binh   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

As much as I hated the way that Hillary ran her campaign down the stretch, I still believe in her role as one of America's leaders. There is no better way for Obama to prove his efforts for unity than by uniting with Clinton and having her as his vice president.

Obama '08! (+ Clinton)!

It is difficult to imagine that someone who has fought this vehemently to be in the #1 spot would psychologically be ok with second chair. Nor do i think if you come in second you should automatically be considered for VP. the qualifications under normal circumstances are different. it is much more than just a presidential fill-in. She is far better suited to be secretary of state. she would be incredible at that and it would leverage her existing relationships.

Write HILL in   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Too late.

After all the hate and the ugly nasty comments and actions by the Obama camp... I will not vote for Obama even if you are there to help him.

I will still write your in for a NOV win.

Crystal (North Carolina)   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

First she would "allow" Barack to be her VP when he was winning, now she will "allow" him to select her as VP. Gosh, the generosity of Hilary Clinton is overwhelming!

Its OK to be right   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

HMMMM...i guess

Alexander   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

At least she'll be limited in what she can do. My biggest fear of her being VP is that she'll undermine the President. After all, it's her fault that the party is so divided because she didn't think of the consequences of throwing Obama under the bus in terms of experience and beating McCain. If she can behave herself, I guess I don't really care.

Chi4Obama   June 3rd, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Hey CNN,
What's with all of the Contradictary headlines that you keep posting today?

Case in point:
1) "Clinton not ready to concede race, her campaign chair says"
2) "Clinton says she's open to being VP"

You have both of these articles as headlines on your website. But only one can be accurate. In order for her to consider a VP slot, she obvisously has to concede the race...... So which one is it?

I really don't want Bill in the White House again...but if Obama's ok with it, and she doesn't try to steal his spot, and it will unit the party, she she divorces Bill, and so on and so on...themI guess I can et use to the idea.

kamasri   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

i do not believe that the the Dem ticket would be stronger with her on it. she will bring a lot of baggage with her. another role perhaps..

veronica   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

I think John Edwards would be the better choice for VP!

OH Please   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

now just add blackmailer to the list.. Omg just admit you lost

Dont   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

Can we still write Hillary in and have her win the presidency if she has the VP slot?

I would rather her win in NOV as president- them have her help the limping Obama steal the presidency from herself

Stacy Clarks   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

PEOPLE SHOULD NOT PRESSURE OBAMA TO CHOSE WHO HE IS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH!!!!!

LET THE MAN PICK HIMSELF!! ITS HIS CHOICE!!!

Texas Obamacan   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

Of course she is...but I know we are NOT open to her. Obama's supporters have had all the Clintons they want for a very long time. If he takes her as a VP I'm thinking Ron Paul would be a good second choice.

errrr   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

I am glad to see that this puts Obama in a hot spot:

He can not pick Hillary as VP because it is against the wills of the party elites such as Pelosi, Dean and Carter. He gets the nomination with the help of those elites. So he has to reject her, which will further enrage the Hillary supporters and cost him any remaining chance of being the next president.

NEVER OBAMA THE LIAR   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

I still will not vote for obama.

jdizzle   June 3rd, 2008 4:04 pm ET

i for one am shocked she would resign to the VP position considering the fight and effort she already exhibited. at this point, she should just ride out her nomination to the final hours !!!!

TunnelVision   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Nope. Change will occur with or without her. Thought this was a "FAIRYTALE". We don't need Bill around

HavingFun   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Oh, poor mama . It's alright, it's alright !! But, sorry...let me think about it

Steve   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

SHOCKING....You would have to an dump idiot not to see this one coming from the left field. Her only mission is to make life miserable for Obama since she lost to the better candidate, and with Bill in the White House beside her it will be hell for Obama and the nation. But at least Obama can use her to do all the lying since she's a master at it..

james   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Hillary don't do it, don't do it...
You are the one, not Obama boy. I want you to run in 2012 because you can run then as Obama will be finished.

Linda   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Hillary Clinton has made the AP have no credibility because they (AP) reported one thing and Hillary stated that was incorrect. Hillary has too much drama to be on the ticket with Obama not to mention all the drama Bill will bring. I beg Obama not to put her on the ticket. Hillary has forced the DNC to count FL and MI and now her supporters are forcing her to be on the ticket as VP. This is not democracy and if people won't vote for Obama if Hillary's not on the ticket then so be it; don't vote. I tired of this political game playing. Please Sen. Obama don't put Hillary on the ticket because it's not in your best interest or the country's best interest.

Randy   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

You're right Big 'O', but you've got the wrong man. The spot's been taken by Johnny McC. She's BO's only hope, he's got no choice.

Mat   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

I can see why on paper this might sound like the best idea for the VP spot – however Obama needs to get Hillary out of the press quickly and have people talk about him as the President – not Hillary helping him get their – We'll see – i'd be open to anything as long as we have a Democratic VP

bill in nyc   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

i say no on this one...she has shown her true colors – she doesn't deserve this...her integrity is blowing in the wind...get someone who has real character for the slot

emily   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

let her take a job as a toilet cleaner for the White House, fine with me.

NickNas   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Here is the problem I have with this. If I were true to myself or ANYTHING or ANYONE else there is NO WAY I could work for or with ANYONE I so obviously think very little of and have shown so much disrepect for.

But I am NOT a Clinton.

The Fact that she woud take the 2nd seat to Obama is not only a bad Idea for Obama but shows she has ZERO convictions about ANYTHING!

ANYTHING to get power...Anything. Pitiful.

DMS-AKA   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Has she conceded yet?

How arrogant ......

I think Bill said it best" if you can't take the heat then POLITICS is not for you........including you Hillary. Don't cry foul using sexism (bad move)

Liz in SD   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

No, no and no. The way HRC and Bill have talked about Obama in the last weeks is disgusting. Here in SD Bill said Obama "slimed" HRC through other people. Even in politics this is NOT a match made in heaven.

pls dont..   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

i dont trust that woman anywhere near Obama....Next thing you know, he get "suicided"...and she is president.

just go away...enough already !

Brandy, Chicago   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

There will have to be a great deal of compromise but it doesn't sound like a bad idea. She does need to wait until he asks her instead of saying 'ok I'll take it' It is Obama's choice and he should feel pressured by her to choose her. McCain doesn't stand a chance!!!!
DEMS UNITE

Brian   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Though I've grown tired of Hillary over this primary season, a big part of me believes that having her on the ticket as the VP is the very best way to make sure Hillary's sometimes fanatical supporters do vote democratic this fall.

I will say, though, that I think it's sad so many of her supporters are willing to shoot themselves in the foot (by voting for mccaine) rather than voting for Obama – Obama being a candidate far more in line with what will serve them best over the next 4 years.

In fact it is downright hypocritical of her supporters to vote McCaine – it stands for everything Hillary stood against, and makes you wonder why these people even bothered being Hillary supporters in the first place.

Young African American Male for Hillary   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

That's the only way I will vote for Barack Obama. If Clinton is not on the ticket I will stay home. It's my right and I can chose not to exercise it. As a young african american male, I feel Clinton has been treatly unfairly by the bias media and Obama supporters. I hope they don't forget. Obama can't win without support from loyal Clinton supporters like myself.

Chris, Las Vegas,NV   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Statement from the Clinton Campaign
by Lindsay Levin6/3/2008 12:32:33 PM
The AP story is incorrect. Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination this evening.

ClockWorkOrange   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

The only way Obama can win is if he offers her the slot. Personally, I think she should go back to the Senate, take the seat as the majority leader, and wield real power (much more than she'd have as the VP). But Obama will–at least–have to make a consilatory offer if he wants to win the general...

wood burns   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

If I want to vote for politics as usual, I'll vote for McSame.

Minnesota Obama Supporter   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

This would be a golden ticket for the Dems. Everyone wins. They both are extremley talented and bring good things to the table. We will take McCain if this happens

Lori/MI   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

This woman is nothing short of evil as far as I'm concerned. Why can't she make herself look good for a change and take the high road. She needs to endorse Obama without any stipulations. If she's announcing that she will take the VP spot and Obama doesn't pick her, she knows it will be hard for him to get many of her women supporters. This is putting him in between a rock and a hard place. She has too much baggage and she voted for the war and was in favor of the gas tax debacle. She knows if she can prevent him from winning it will open up her chances to run in 2012. If she is VP Obama will need to keep her out of the White House as much as possible. Otherwise she and Bill will be in his face telling him what to do daily or taking credit for anything he does good on his own. When will this women just go away?

elm   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

With all the baggage that the Clintons have, that is the worst VP possible. Wait til the details of the Paul vs Clinton file get publicity.

Besides you would have to watch your back all the time..

Tom   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

NO NO – Clintons know too many people to make Hillary pres -
Please NO VP for Hillary – The past record of the Clintons people in theri graves to too long

Gordon Bloem   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

How good of her to try and paint Senator Obama into a corner on the choice of his running mate.

David   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

NO NO NO!!! – absolutely not. Politically – she literally and symbolically represents everything he's been fighting against. All those purple states now in play – you can just kiss those good-bye.

Oh...yeah... and the baggage thing... and 60%+ of the country thinks she's dishonest... and 51% of the public can't stand her (myself included).

Just to reiterate: NO NO NO!!!. Hillary, "You can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding." Her behavior during the primary has been nothing short of disgusting and despicable, and, as such, is not to be rewarded.

Go back to Park Ridge, Scranton, Little Rock, Chappaqua or wherever you're claiming as your home this week. Just go away.

JJ   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

It'll never happen. Too late, too much water under the bridge.

It's amazing to me that the dems have managed to implode in an election year where it would normally have been a given for them.

Go McCain – the only choice!

Allyn   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

I say let her be V.P. better her pissing outside the house then inside...

Susie   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

I have such a problem with this story. "ajoint ticket was the best way for Obama to win"? Are you kidding me? Why can't Obama be free to choose a VP candidate that will be effective for his campaign? Is it because he is a person of color? There has been so much racism injected into this campaign that I have become very ashamed of the Democratic Party. Are people trying to say that Obama cannot win this election without the help of a white person? He has made a name for himself during this primary season without the Clinton's name recognition, and he can win this general election without the Clintons or their supporters.

Rick in Florida   June 3rd, 2008 4:03 pm ET

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Cruz   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

If only she was open a month ago when she still had no realistic chance of winning. I don't particularly care for her filling that position, but at this point there may not be any other choice due to the staunchly anti-Obama supporters following her. May be the only rational way to bridge the gap.

OBAMO SUPPORTER   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

Great move! Let's unite!!!!!

Don   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

This woman should go away quietly and await orders. I don't think she

should be given the VP spot, she was so mean to BO. She claims she

had experience and he has a speech, where is all that now? Be careful

what you say, it will always come back to haunt you!

Paul from Jersey   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

I am a STRONG OBAMA SUPPORTER and until very recently was STRONGLY AGAINST Clinton as VP, but the more I ponder it, the more it makes sense.

Hillary at VP will almost certainly allow the DEMS to be in the WHITE HOUSE for the next 16 years!!!!

It might not be as bad as once thought

thank you CNN

Jeff in Alabama   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

That is good to hear. Senator Obama would help himself considerably by having her as VP. And it is probably the only way he will have a realistic shot at the Presidency. I know it is the only way I would consider voting for the ticket.

Alexandra   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

I am an Obama supporter but i love Hillary too. I am sooooo happy they will be teaming up to destroy McBush.
Please Obama, pick Hillary...

That's a recipe for disaster. We saw her dirty behaviour throughout the last several month. It will only escalate from there. YOU DO NOT OWE HER NOTHING. Be a stateman that you are and just congradulate her.

Ross   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't do it Obama. The Clinton's are way too much DRAMA. Bill Clinton is undisciplined and Hillary is just too calculating and selfish. Why can't Hillary concede and congratulate Obama and campaign for him? She is only thinking of herself. She is NOT a team player. The Obama campaign consists of team players. Hillary should not be on the ticket. She can be in the cabinet or maybe given a judgeship instead.

john   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

If Obama picks Clinton be prepared to have Clinton sniping all the way through his Presidency.

PS wear a flack jacket and a bullet proof helmet Barack.

Ron Brown did not fare too well after he crossed the Clintons.

Then there is the election fraud case in the California 7th District Apellant Court Paul v the Clintons and i'm sure the Federal election commission are following this closely very closely

Bill   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

I hope Hillary NEVER NEVER NEVER accepts VP.

She has been treated miserably by so many and shs is by orders of magnitude the best person to be President.

Conversely, Obama will never be President without her support.

What a hypocrite Obama is for, inter alia, running against Hillary as a "Washington insider" and at the same time wanting the votes of all those "Washington insiders".

Mr Fix it (fixmaster33@yahoo.com)   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

Jazzie   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

I say no VP spot for Hillary because she is untrustworthy and I think she would put a hit out on him just so she can get the number one spot

Joe in NJ   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

Obama would be nuts to pick her after all the BS she has slung during this campaign. I think a lot of Obama and Clinton supporters would be unhappy if this does happen. Also, I think the only reason she might be open to VP is because at this point she sees it as the only way possible she might eventually get the top spot. I wouldn't hold it past her to somehow get Obama kicked out of office.

lindsay, sc   June 3rd, 2008 4:02 pm ET

At first I thought it was a terrible idea, but now, after the most drawn out, painful primary season I can remember, I think it might be the only way to completely unite the party.

Difficult to see how Barack Obama is going to get away from it after having declared several times that anyone would like to have her on the ticket.

i don't care is she's on the ticket or that.aslong as obama is at the top.

Constance Mitchell   June 3rd, 2008 4:01 pm ET

Sen Obama should not be forced to select Hilalry. He won the game fair and square, and it is presumptious for even Sen. Clinton to engage in this talk.
Sen. Obama should pick whomever he wants – preferably not Sen. Clinton who has been mean-spirited, divisive, and has so much baggage. It would be grossly unwise for Sen. Obama to choose her.
It would bea disaster, and I would not vote for the ticket, although I would not vote for Sen. McCain.

Douglas Democrat   June 3rd, 2008 4:01 pm ET

She may be "open to it", but really – there is no way that the Democratic Party can have a ticket in which the VP's husband overshadows the Presidential candidate. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

Not to mention all the stuff she said about Obama not being "ready" while McCain is. How does she spin herself out of that?

Time to pack it in – there are over 300 well-qualified Democrats that are not named Clinton for Obama to choose from.

Please Mr. Obama, I didn't latch on to your message so that you could be dragged down by old politics. She didn't show you the respect you gave her so don't let her and the old guard dictate who your VP should be. The new young voters will be so disillusioned. If we lose without her then we lose but we will stand by you to fight for change.

Caryn, WDC   June 3rd, 2008 4:00 pm ET

MESSAGE TO THE OBAMA CAMP: DO NOT PUT HILLARY ON THE TICKET!!!

Polls are showing Sen. Obama is already beating old man McSame and he hasn't even got started on him yet. When the Obama campaign gets rolling it will be unstoppable.

The GOP elder statesman cannot even speak w/o squinting at a teleprompter. I really for sorry for the old coot. Obama is going to squash him.

Good bye.............Hillary!!!! HAHHA!

Ramone C. Aiken   June 3rd, 2008 4:00 pm ET

The Clinton's are very strong, very strong, in fact they are to strong for a #2 position. I think she will try to control the power and will not Obama be commander and chief. She will treat it like a co-presidency. Bill couldn't have come second to Al Gore just like Sen. Clinton cannot be a VP. She wants more power then Bush (lol).

Hillary has the same goal as all Democrats; getting Republicans out of office. She has always been for the people and will continue to do what is best for the people. The “bullies” must learn that there is a better way of handling global issues, so we must show them. We must remember no one has ownership of planet Earth. Intelligent dialogue will prevail.

This has been a very long (and sometimes very hateful) battle and I'm so happy that the 1st part is over. As far as Hillary as VP, I'm not so sure but I think she would serve America in a far better position as a Supreme Court Judge. I believe that is the true calling for Hillary where a legacy she can build and continue the rights of individuals across our country.

Chris   June 3rd, 2008 4:00 pm ET

I would rather have it the other way around considering she does have the popular vote, but this would be the only way I vote for someone that stands on "change" with nothing to back the word up. I would vote have to vote for McCain based on experience and hope we get someone better in 4 years.

Xavier, St. Louis, MO   June 3rd, 2008 4:00 pm ET

I bet she is. However, if I was Obama, I would tell her, "Don't call me, I'll call you!"

Mrs.L   June 3rd, 2008 4:00 pm ET

Jim   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

Whether Hillary is on the ticket or not, the point of this election is that America can't afford four more years of the failed Bush policies that John McCain has endorsed. We will have no solutions to the health care crisis, the war in Iraq, the housing debacle, or the sky rocketing gas prices unless America unites and votes for CHANGE

Tyler in Raleigh, NC   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

NOOOOO.... dont do it!!!

Clinton will of course take it, after all things happen all the time, you remember JFK and Lincoln right?

She will spend the campaign with Willy wagging his finger and saying more outrageous comments. If this campaign is about change and the future, Clinton is NOT IT.

I know it would unite the party, but at what cost??

Of course   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

After the horrible way she behaved...I am open to voting Republican if she is anywhere near this ticket. She's too emotional and too manipulating and too much of a negative for Obama to have to address and fix all of the ugly lies she said about him.

We will have our first woman President; Hillary has at least paved the way for that to happen soon. But she can't be it. We need a woman who wants to compete and behave like an equal responsible adult. Not one who wants to be a tough fighter one minute then play the victim Chick Card the next.

I waited ten years for Hillary to announce she'd be running for president and I feel she let me down. She played into the stereotypes and caused her own failure. She is NOT the woman we need to make this history.

Diana New York   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

NO...NO...NO...

IF HILLARY BECOMES VP OBAMA WILL LOOSE ALOT OF VOTES AND DONATIONS INCLUDING MINE.

FORMAL FEMALE HILLARY SUPPORTER.

issac- Canada, Toronto   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

As long as Bill clinton stays at home....this is a winning ticket...Hillary Clinton is a fighter and deserves the VP position

BARAKFORLIFE   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

What in the world are you doing CNN? I wrote an great piece and I cannot see it! Media foolishness!!

Lisa   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

This is probably the best thing although I don't like it.

Barbara - 65 yr old white female in NC   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

OMG – she'll knock him off so she can have the top spot !!!!!!

Don't let her blackmail you Barack. Remember Bill comes with the package.

rob in austin   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

i'd have an easier choice if she were on the ticket with him. i would support that ticket. obama hasn't been able to fully win me over but together, it'd be a strong ticket with amazing things coming from the oval office.

Cooper   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

I like Hillary, but she can never truly play second fiddle – not even for a minute. Though on paper she seems like a smart choice, she will sabotage things for him so she can come back in 2012 and go for the number one spot again.

David Newport, OR   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

Not a good idea...having Hillary on the ticket will not improve the chances of winning the swing states. She adds nothing except making the party "appear" unified.

Kate   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

Call me crazy, but should't Clinton concede and endorse Obama first. If in her head she is in it to win it, then there lies a dillema.

Nicole in NE   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

I love that the party is finally coming together.

I wonder how the media will treat it though: will they always be asking – what did you mean you said this about Obama/or what did you mean when you said this about Hillary?

Will the Republicans use their fight in the primaries against them?
It just make me wonder?....

I cannot wait to beat McCain.
He will be horrible for this country in a time it desperatly needs to look at the average American's struggle!

GL   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

um. No.

Please go away.

Girl from Louisiana   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

I hate the idea of her being on the ticket, but if it will make the democrats when, go for it!

Susan   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

I am a women and even if "Hillary" is on the ticket I never ever would vote for a democrat. Their beliefs go against our country. I never realized how power hungry the Clintons were until I watched this primary season. Barack Obama is like a little kid compared to other politicians. He has no experience to be president. 46 years old. He is like a child almost.

Lora B.   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

He had better offer Clinton the v.p. slot if he expects her supporters to support him any time soon.

And if Obama doesn't ask Clinton to be the v.p. than it proves that he is an ELITIST who thinks he is better than she and all her so-called "uneducated" supporters.

White Guy for Obama   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

Don't fall for it Obama! HRC represents the 'old politics' that we are trying to get away from. HRC is everything you campaigned against.

HRC wants to be on the ticket so that she can do you like they did Vince Foster & Ron Brown. That way she can ascend into the office of President. Mark my word! She is evil and will do harm to you.

NO HRC AS VP.

Obama/ Edwards or Obama/ Anyone but HRC '08

chicago chris   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

oh crap. now all the Hilly supporters will be forever commenting that if she isn't the VP they'll vote for McCain. WHO CARES ANYMORE? Vote for McCain and stop making 300 postings a day to CNN like anyone cares

Alice   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

Obama will be making a huge mistake offering the VP candidacy to Hillary. Along with Hill, comes Bill....and what an albatross that will be with his narcissistic attitude. Obama does not need to tote the Clinton's baggage!

Geo from Toronto   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

No hillary, obama does not deserve you. You are far better than him, and why would you join his ticket after all the negative comments his campaign has had to say about you. Please dont do this, it will be a big mistake. Run as an independant.

uko   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

Please, tell her that there is no vacancy for that spot. It was already filled.
We appreciate her interest greatly.

Paizley   June 3rd, 2008 3:59 pm ET

Of course she is open to it. I don't trust her and I hope Obama doesn't either.

Greg in Annapolis   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

I certainly hope and do think that the Obamas have had quite enough of the Clintons. It is time for Hillary to pack her bags and go away. She can ride out her term as Senator and then she needs to leave Washington. Nobody likes her anymore! She is DONE!

Caryn, WDC   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

Her overwhelming win in Puerto Rico is going to help us in the general election how exactly?

Accountant Guy   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

I pray that he does not offer it to her, he does not need her on his ticket. Yes we can and Yes we did!!

Obama '08

Gabrielle, Lancaster SC   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

No...please No!

I'm not saying that she is not a good politician, but I can not forget the Kennedy comments. She may say that she didn't mean it, but I don't trust her. She has proven that she is a fighter and she wants t o win at all costs. I don't trust her that close to Sen. Obama. I really couldn't take something happening to him.

BAD BAD BAD IDEA.

I JUST SEE MCCAIN AND THE REPUBLICANS PLAYING THE ADS WITH THE WORDS OF HILLARY AGAINST OBAMA.

SHE HAS ATTACKED OBAMA SO HARD AND SO NEGATIVELY THAT SHE WILL BE MORE A PROBLEM THAN HELP

WHAT ABOUT CLINTON IN THE WHITE HOUSE WITH MOTHING TO DO.

WITH ALL RESPECT TO THOSE WHO SUPPORT THIS IDEA; IT IS A BAD BAD BAD IDEA.

Arron   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

As an independant-minded Republican, I'd be open to voting for Obama, but not if Ms Clinton is on the ticket- not in a million years. I do not think that naked greed and unrelenting ego should be rewarded.

JMV   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

Obama is crazy if he takes her.
Can you just imagine her and her supporters just putting a knife in his back everyday.
Thanks but no thanks.

Andrea E- Atlanta   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

I am a supporter of Barack Obama and I must agree that adding Senator Clinton to the ticket would be a landslide victory for the Democrats come November. It doesn't matter who McSame brings on as VP they do not have the popularity that Senator Obama and Clinton have due to the long primary campaign. GOP the Dream Team is coming after you. We have a lock on every voting block imaginable. That's why McSame was out sympathizing with Hillary and saying, "she's ran a great campaign", yada yada yada. He does not want to feel the wraft of Hillary. Look out McSame cause your ship is about to sink.

Jeff D, South Bend, IN   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

You have greater than 50% NEGATIVE ratings towards you, and 56% of the country thinks you are a LIAR and UNTRUSTWORTHY. You are everything he stands against in his campaign.

The crazy Hillary-nazi's aside, if he brought the Clinton circus onto the ticket, he would need a food taster.

Lisa in Cincy   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

No FROM DAY ONE.

Ivar   June 3rd, 2008 3:58 pm ET

I am sorry Obama!!! But you loose my vote if you include her because she is not what you stand for. Besides I dont want a vice president running this country

Hillary said Obama is not electable
Hillary said Obama can not win against McCain
Hillary said Obama can not win against her
Hillary used the race card first
Hillary's campaign is in the red
Hillary has been caught lying
Hillary has been caught misspeaking
Hillary uses fuzzy math

Why would Obama want someone so backstabbing as Hillary for his VP

Obama can and would win in November without Hillary.

Howard, Westport CT   June 3rd, 2008 3:57 pm ET

My god no! Can you imagine the kind of mischief this woman and Bill would create in an Obama White House?!!!
Please let Obama pick his own running mate. Let the Clintons go back to their lives and let's change Washington and the country. Bill and Hillary represent the old Washington style. If this nomination process didn't prove that, then I don't know what will. The Clintons used old style politics, and they lost. Let's let this type of behavior be something we only think about in the past tense.

jac from LI   June 3rd, 2008 3:57 pm ET

No way, she can not be trusted.

Jim from Montana   June 3rd, 2008 3:57 pm ET

TIME TO UNITE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. I'm tired of republicans using blogs acting they're democrats and instigate infighting. We have more to lose if McCain becomes the next president. I'm an Hillary supporter by the way. However, if Obama get the nomination, I'll vote for him. The difference between the two is slim.

Nancy   June 3rd, 2008 3:57 pm ET

ha!ha!ha!

jeni   June 3rd, 2008 3:57 pm ET

Let's NOTdo this! If we could play back all of Hillary's spews aginst and judgement of Barack we'd see what and who he would be dealing with. At times she went lower than a bottom feeder. I recognize she is capable of doing good work in some areas yet I cannot even imagine her as VP. In no time at all she would become Cheney like. Yikes – how can that be a good thing? There are many 'friendly' choices out there – choose one of those!

Damian Salter   June 3rd, 2008 3:57 pm ET

No Senator Clinton just pack your bags tonight and stay in NY. You'll do the country a favor.

Chuck Hagel should be the guy. Why because he needs someone more on the Right than him who can talk to the racists in middle America.

Some say Sebelius but the problem is no one knows about her. No one. Two brand new people is not a good idea.

And for all those femenists and radicals who threaten about voting for McCain well who cares about you!!! Seriously. You gals are a joke to democracy for being such sore losers.

clbrune   June 3rd, 2008 3:56 pm ET

She'd make a strong president or vice president.

I still think the better ticket is Clinton/Obama.

Considering how much Obama will need every vote he can get, it might be wise for him to make the offer.

Sean   June 3rd, 2008 3:56 pm ET

It's about freaking time – but no thanks hillary, you polarized the community for your own gain in the next election. Have fun being a senator again.

I am a supporter of Hillary Clinton. But even if she was Barack's VP nominee, I still won't vote for him. I just don't feel he has enough experience to run the country in a positive way. He hasn't even said how he plans on making all his dreams and hopes a reality. It's been over 8 months.
I might vote independent.

All that trouble she has caused.... Now she's causing more trouble refusing to go away.

Why won't she go away and see if she would offer the job. Obama might be foreced to choose her and risk of losing the independent as well as some republican if he picks her.

I hate her campaign and supporters but screw it, ANYTHING to keep Mcsame out of office, I don't think the U.S can take another 4 years of the same policies that got us into this mess, this is beyond pride, if it brings the party togather and we win in november it's worth it!

Let go of your pride's, I have come to hate Hillary's campaign and the way she did things, and aspecially her supporters but this is beyond that...if Mcsame wins and you see your health care rate's going up, gas going up, economy in the slums, and you loosing your job, it will be because you couldn't let go of your pride! So I say screw it, lets bring this party togather, w/e it take's! Anything but a 4th Bush term, we can't afford it, too much is at stake!
