How could he trust her after everything she has said and done? I'm sure she would love to be VP and then she could change the rules as to what that position does. And then she could find something for Bill to do. I'm sure she's qualified to do something good but in another position. She's always been about control and she obviously has her own agenda.

I hope Hillary does not get to be his VP. I would really hate to vote for him. I might, if she is on the ticket. Please say No.. Hillary.
For the first time in my adult life I am truely ashamed of my country. How this nobody who is the biggest flake in history can be the nominee is unbelievable. God help us all. Maybe if we all write Hillary on our ballots in November we can stop this maddness.

Nice try, but we're not buying what you're selling today. Maybe, once we take a look at ALL of the potential candidates, we'll call HRC in for an interview. She'll have to explain how she's going to respond to questions about some of the things she's said during her "kitchen sink (I mean stink) strategy.

I do wonder what will happen with affirmative action programs if Obama does get elected. With an African-American man holding the most important role in the country (and the world) how can anyone claim residual racism. I bet court challenges follow very soon after his swearing in.

Do not want Obama to pick Hillary as his VP. She only adds more controversy. What will happen when the Peter Paul case comes alive in November. Even if it is after the general, it won't go unnoticed that the Bill Clinton appointed judge made the ruling to delay proceedings, and we do not know what is coming.
When voters are polled, it does not take into account the other possibilities that have the probabability to be more beneficial to defeat the Republicans.
I do hope he places her in his cabinet and that she accepts.

The image of all these ex-hippy, menopausal women screaming that HRC was CHEATED is so laughable.....plu-ease get a grip. The only people beside this group who want her are a "country folk" who wouldn't vote for Jesus if he were resurrected because he would probably be black!! Hippies and racist, great combo!!!

The smart, the young, the progressive people do not want anything to do with ANY Clinton....I worked on Bill's first campaign...I wouldn't want to see him elected dog catcher....they are PARANOID and believe their own LIES.......and by the way speaking of Clintons....Chelsea.....your fathers affair is OUR BUSINESS....he wasn't a movie star....he was the freakin PRESIDENT!!!!

We do NOT want Hillary on the ticket......if this is going to make you vote for McCain then take your old, racist butt right over to his campaign...I'm sure they'll be happy to have you....you'll fit right in with all the other OLD, RACIST people!!!

NO! Joint ticket is not needed...

McCain would just reuse all crap Clinton has thrown on him. That would diminish THEIR trustworthiness.
Clinton has done McCain's mudslinging for him. To choose her as a running mate would just make Obama appear too weak to manage with the VP (like another President we all know).

90% want the Health Care system to be drastically changed
81% believe we are on the "Wrong Track"
77% disaproving Bush
68% dissaprove of the Iraq war
67% believe in dialogue with the Middle-Eastern states

The Democrats will win the election regardles of whoever are on the ticket.
The avoidance of conflict (no VP Clinton) is to unite the country - not, per se, needed to win.

Well, if Sen. Clinton were VP, at least we'd have ONE person in the White House who knew what she was doing. The prez could sit around with his questionable friends railing on whites while Hillary took care of business, something she's shown over and over she can do--quite well.

All these super delegates crossing over before a fair Election takes place, should not be reelected back into office including Mr. Kennedy and Mr. John Cary. And shame on Mr. Carter has been sent so many times thru out the world so he can see fair Elections are held. There is a bad Election taking place in his own Country and won’t say anything I’m referring to Florida and Michigan on how millions Americans votes did not count. Why not have a reelection on both states, it was not the peoples fault on how things were done. Everyone has the right to vote.

Nice endorsement, but he never said he would accept her as a running mate. I'm sure however that if you polled Obama supporters, more than 50% of them would approve a cabinet position for Hillary. And even if she does get a cabinet job, she must earn it by campaigning hard for Barack Obama and being 100% behind him.

Ooh, big surprise...

But Obama had better pick her for VP, because everyone knows that Hillary will basically have a tantrum and do anything she can to sabotage the general election (namely, appeal the primary results) unless she is offered a position of power...

The problem with Clinton running as Vice President is her husband. The man is a loose cannon. He is not in control of himself. Additionally, what about governing the country. We need a new, fresh page.

Also, there are a whole lot of Republicans that really dislike the Clintons. They will come out just to vote against the Clintons.

Most comments here of Senator Obama's supporters are just plain pathetic. If Senator Obama is the democratic party nominee, he can not win the presidency without the support of Senator Hillary Clinton. I am one of Senator Clintons supporters and will not vote for Senator Obama even if he select Clinton as his VP running mate. I know there are millions of us out there who will do the same. Anyways, good luck to Senator Obama and his fans who are hallucinating.

Hillary got 17 million votes - he's going to have to put her somewhere in his Cabinet or on the ticket. He's already going to have to VERY hard time going up against someone with McCain's experience with as inexperienced as Obama is in running anything.

I do wonder what will happen with affirmative action programs if Obama does get elected. With an African-American man holding the most important role in the country (and the world) how can anyone claim residual racism. I bet court challenges follow very soon after his swearing in.

Since the McCain campaign is already using Sen. Clinton's own words to demonstrate that even she does not have faith in Sen. Obama's abilities as President I think it would be a mistake to add her to the ticket. I for one would have prefered she not said so many bad things about Sen. Obama, but she did and she will be spending most of her time explaining why now she believes he is going to be a good President than she will trying to run an effecient campaign for the ticket. I praise Sen. Clinton for her campaign, albeit negative, she has paved the way for a more open Democratic party. I hope she sees the good she has done and now concedes the nomination and lets Sen. Obama choose who best would compliment his ticket rather that one who may indeed give the Republicans fuel to criticize a ticket that is not cohesive. Thanks New York but no thanks....
