Does it not frighten anyone else that people in their 80s and 90s are running this country?? Very capable airline pilots are required to retire at 65 yet we allow potentially impaired people to make decisions that affect everything from who we can or cannot marry to which country we're going to piss off next. Term limits anyone??

I hope Byrd has another good 10-20 years of service left in him. His best work is yet to come. The "young", "educated" people of this generation are way too ignorant to run this country. They are the "pep rally" generation. Give them a trendy cause and they will buy all the commemorative t-shirts and caps produced for it. Give them a politician who can speek for hours without actually saying anything and they will project any thing they want to believe on his "blank screen". If the presentation is flashy enough, they will cheer "go team go" while being led of the side of a cliff.
