I don't understand this "It's not even 24 hours" thing. The math has been the same for months. Nothing has changed, and there has been plenty of time to prepare for this. It's been on the horizon for a long time, even Bill Clinton acknowledged it days before as his last time campaigning. When Obama's magic number was under 50 and you're 200 delegates behind, you prepare for the inevitable.

Senator Clinton was self serving, as usual, in last night's speech. After that historic moment for this country, she showed little or no respect for Barack Obama. It was terrible. Congressman Rangel is absolutely right and he was a strong supporter of Clinton. She can not bow out with grace when anger is her stronger suit.
Please, no VP spot for Hillary. Senator Obama won because the people chose him. Let her go back to her seat in the senate.

I think HRC ran a great race and has really moved the ball forward for women. Right now, however, she needs to show that she, and women in general, have the guts to take a loss and be gracious about it.

I want to be able to teach my kids that sometimes you try hard and fail, but you don't treat the winner of a contest disrespectfully just because you didn't win – she's turning into a bad example at this point, as opposed to a fighter.

Why shoul Hillary support a luing cheat? Number one; he didn't desrve any votes for Michigan because he withdrew his name. Plus the democratic committee said that if Florida and Michigan moved their primaries to when they did, their votes would not count at all. Now the DNC has gone against what they said and allowed half the votes plu gave votes to hObo when he removed his name. I say screw the DNC and vote McCain '08.

Hillary Clinton did not win the popular vote. That number she is feeding to her supporters does not include cacus states. People, known as voters, are not being counted. Most of all, she lost the delegate count in which presidential nominees of the past has been selected by.

Hillary Clinton is not in control of all those people that voted for her.

As I have stated on similar articles, Hillary can't raise funds for her indebted campaign if she concedes therefore expect her keep this campaign alive until she can recoup her personal losses an estimated $20 million and payoff her campaign debts!!! The race is over. The avalanche started yesterday and continues today. The Superdelegates are deserting her camp.
On the other hand I think it rather ghoulish how having lost the pledged delegates, the super delegates (after leading for months) the popular vote (unless you use funny math and count Michigan where she broke the rules and left her name on the ballot) and the campaign fund (through bad management) Clinton et al are hoping for their last and only solution which is that something will happen to the winner so the loser can scamper gleefully to take his place. What a distasteful image.

I am glad that this pouting behavior has partially put the brakes on the possibility of an Obama/Clinton ticket and will allow Sen. Obama the freedom to choose a partner that is not busily salting the fields and poisoning the water.

I'm inclined to believe that Hillary Clinton should be allowed to address the future at her own pace and however she sees fit. Unfortunately, the political process does not stop and Obama has to address his general campaign the way he and his team see fit. Forcing a working relationship on two people who may or may not be a "good fit" with one another is not prudent, especially at such a critical crossroads for our nation. History will be a stern judge of the participants.

First of all, her claim of winning the popular vote is questionable – if you count Michigan and give Obama the uncommitted vote she barely wins, but if you estimate the caucus states then Obama wins anyway.

Second, it's entirely irrelevant – the nomination is based on DELEGATES won, not votes cast. Is that really so difficult to understand? Her campaign was terribly run and decided to ignore the caucus states, which may have cost her the nomination....that's the bottom line. Whine and moan all you want about the popular vote, but that's not the determining factor in deciding the nomination...DELEGATES are. Understand? If popular vote were the critical factor then Gore would have been elected in 2000...sadly, he wasn't

Obama could have ended the Democratic Nomination Process weeks ago if he would just have given Hillary Clinton the VP slot on the Democratic ticket. I think she has definitely earned it by getting the most votes by actual voters in this contest. I think that adding Hillary Clinton to the ticket would also be a smart move. Obama can either be the first black president (with Hillary by his side) or he can let McCain be president by choosing a different running mate. He is absolutely right. I keep reading comments from Hillary supporters claiming that Obama supporters are rude. Have you been watching the primaries. Haven't you seen all of the attacks that Obama has had to endure and he still shows her respect for Hillary.
