I have one question: how come the "VoteBoth.com" website is only affiliated with pro-Clinton supporters?

This seems like a last-ditch ploy by the Clinton campaign to not accept their loss. (Don't try to tell me this is an independent group, it is obviously not.)

This is the very reason that party unity ranks low right now, but as soon as this issue is behind us (because Hillary accepts her defeat), the party will begin to mend itself under Barack and we will all be fine.

Obama is a democrat. McCain is a conservative. 'Nuff Said.

As inappropriate and ungracious as Hillary was in her speech on the night that Obama secured the Democratic nomination......so is Lanny Davis. There is a formal process to apply for the VP slot and Hillary should follow the rules.......not Hillary's rules.......but the DNC rules. Some of Hillary's supporters were also informed that any formal correspondence in support and/or political muscling to bear pressure on Obama to consider Hillary for the VP slot was also inappropriate....but it is individuals like Lanny Davis who are in denial. Obama will make his choice when the time requires it. I believe that Hillary is reserved to the fact her running as VP on the Obama ticket is highly unlikely......and likely.....so should her advisors. Adding more salt in the wound will gain nothing for Hillary...eithier politically or personally. Lanny.......let it go. Americans have had enough.

Instead you allowed 75% coverage to Hillary and 25% to the fact that an African American had been chosen as the democratic candidate. It was the first time in a long time I was actually proud of America. Yet it was overshadowed by the Clinton coverage. I started my voting for President with John F. Kennedy. Hilary should not be on the tickey after the way she has conducted herself during the campaign. How devious a comment she made for staying in he race. I do not understand why they need to pursue this. Her strategics failed her and now they are trying to do something to earn their millions that she paid them. This is Obama's choice and only his. He will pick the best candidate that he would be able to work with and compliment his ideas for the nation. Foremost for Democrats is to defeat McCain ending the worse eight years of political history in America. We need to end the war, bring the troops home, repair the economy including the mortgage scandal and the $4 per gallon gasoline, restore both human and civil rights that have trampled on for eight years and a whole host of things. Democrats, esppecailly Hillary supporters, need to clearly understand that if Obama were to lose because they sat it out or wrote her in on the ballot or voted McCain. She too loses. Obama supporters will see that her political career never ever takes off anytime in the future. That's only fair because of all the threats on the Hillary supporters.

Hillary doesn't OWN 18 million people and their votes! Not all those people still support her! So you can't claim that at all! More sane people are actually putting their interests first and will not vote against their own interests this time. This time they're not going to vote against their party for spite. Others unfortunately will and will pay the price, but they shouldn't cry when they receive a 3rd Bush term. Also this was primary season! Just because you win West VA in the primary doesn't mean you'll win it in the General election. Sorry you can't compare primary polls with general election polls to claim electibility, why? Because Kerry was way ahead of Bush in the primary season and look what happened! Also, Hillary was not vetted at all this season so none of her scandals came up. Many people are not aware of her past scandals like some of us older people are aware of them. Believe me the Republicans would rehash all of that and then some.

Sen. Obama is now the leader of the democratic party and the Clintons - who have been leading the party for the last 16 years - will not accept that those days are gone. Her campaign advisors had to get her supporters to force her to give it up - she is that desperate for power. Obama can not take her as his VP because with all this pressure, it will look like he caved in to Hillary's demands and will diminish his authority as a leader of the party and future leader of the US.

Can we put this argument to rest, no Democrat/independent or a huge amount of people who changer their affiliation are suddenly going to support McCain come November.
