Some of you people crack me up.

If it isn't that you're acting like children who don't get their way, so they throw themselves down on the ground kicking and screaming;

If it isn't that many of you are behaving as little more than sore losers;

If it isn't the fact that many of you basically (unsucessfully) attempted to blackmail the Democratic party;

It's your hypocrisy in whining and crying about rampant sexism in the Obama campaign, and then claiming to prefer to vote for a man who openly called his wife a C**T.

Vote for who you want to vote for. Base that vote on all the spin and rhetoric you want, and not on actual issues. That's your choice.

Isn't being an American grand? You can vote based completely on lopsided, unfounded logic and not on any single issue, and your vote will still count as much as the next person's.

Regardless, Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States, and he'll be your President just as much as those who will vote for him.

Sarah:

I am a white woman and have much empathy for what you have just said "being a child of slaves." That is one of the reasons why I am so proud of our country to nominate Obama who will be our next president!!!

Unfortunately, there still remains much ignorance in our country too. Considering Obama and Clinton have very little, if any, policy differences, why are these ignorant Hillary voters refusing to vote for Obama - IGNORANCE FROM HILLARY VOTERS!

WOW. Hillary Supporters on here have pretty much formed their own country. She has really souped them up, making them think the World cannot revolve without them. Please stop that today. Everyone that really wants change has moved on.

The reality is we do need you to defeat McCain in the fall, but not all the whiny, crybabyism that goes with it.. The line will keep moving WITH OR WITHOUT you. Out of 18 million Hillary votes, a large proportion of those will support Obama, because they understand the importance of electing a Democrat to the presidency. If you can't get over the fact that there will not be a Clinton in office, and decide to pull a Lieberman and sleep with the enemy, that's your own business. But if you are leaving, just leave. People who claim they will vote for McCain are either Republicans or democrats who don't vote anyway. Obama supporters havejust as much right to be angry, but the time has also come for Obama supporters to be adults and move forward. Something very unique happened in the Democratic party; a black man and a white woman were finalists to become President. of these United States. There was a time in our short history that having a woman or a black man on the ticket was the same as seeing a Martian land on the White House lawn. The way I see it, either way it's win-win for Democrats. We are making change. If you think Mccain is an agent of change, vote for him. But don't come crying back when you realise the album cover lied to you.

I wish one person could tell me what this CHANGE is? Is it just a change in name, or party? Obama has not given one solid answer on this CHANGE, yet everyone is on the CHANGE wagon. I understand that our economy needs a change, gas prices need to change, the war status needs to change, yet there is only the slogans YES WE CAN, and -- CHANGE.

When all this hoopla dies down, and the issues need to be addressed, the biggest CHANGE i know we will is a new person in the whitehouse making the same decisions, only with a different name!

It is interesting that CNN puts Mrs Obama's statement in quote marks but it then misquotes her. You left out a word that I think changes her statement. She said, "REALLY Proud". When you add REALLY, it is a quote that I can agree with 100%.
Poor journalism CNN.

Wow, I can't believe how much bitterness there is in these posts. And this is for one gaffe Michelle Obama made months ago.

"This is the first time in my adult life that I am really proud of my country."

We have our flags, we have independence day, memorial day, but how many are really proud of what this nation has done during our lifetimes. We see defects all the time, corruption in the white house and the legislature. This is by no means a perfect nation.

The fact that so many people were participating in this primary is something to be really proud about. It shows that the people of this nation has a voice, which made it possible for the first woman or african-american to be elected president. It show us once again that America is a land of opportunities.

Rather than dwelling in hate and disgust, let's move forward.

To Hillary Supporter:

Talk about supporting an "inexperienced" candidate. What has experience got us? The more mature supporters don't have to accept the fact that it is time for the young supporters and candidates to move ahead, it's just so. Remember, it's a part of the cycle of life? I am older and welcome the less experienced. At one time, the more experienced were less experienced. We need new ideas and new ways of doing things. The same old has gotten our butts kicked. But most mature supporters haven't been affected by the economy. They simply sit on their butts saying, "he's inexperienced" while their grandchildren have no future. Selfishness is not a good quality. Support those that come after you. You will not live forever!

The ideas of the "so called, less experienced" is fresh and believe it or not, they often work. Microsoft, Yahoo! and Facebook were not born from a "more mature and experienced" leaders. Oh, I'm sorry...the more mature and experienced probably aren't familiar with these companies.

The ladies on this site worry me. As a lady myself I can't see how you can vote for McCain. This is not what Hillary stood for and this shows the men around the nation that we make decisions based on gender and emotions and not facts or policy. I'll support Obama! We have to show strength and unity beyond our wants.

Laura Bush doesn't know what she is talking about. People is making Hillary bigger than life...when Hillary has done nothing...just insulting the American people with her lies and destroying other people characters when they were on her way.
Before Hillary there were other women that were Presidential Candidates ( in the Democrat and Republican Primaries) and lost like her...So Hillary is not doing any ground breaking. Maybe once again Hillary ( and her supporters) wants to re-write history for her own benefit....That Hillary is a piece of work!

Rabid Shrillary Fan, you are very ignorant and I had to laugh at the fact that a STRONG & INTELLIGENT BLACK MAN puts fear in your heart. Then again I'm not even surprised. The way you feel is probably how most WHITE AMERICANS feel.

GET OVER IT!

Some of you just can't get past race and it's truly sad AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!

Oh, I know you won't post this CNN- as you never post what I write. But Rush's plan is still going strong. Check a few of his supporters and the emails they are getting.

Right now he's calling for people to pose as disgruntled Hillary supporters continuously attacking Baracks "experience".

If you want a copy, I'll send it to you!

Bitter HRC supporters? How about blind BHO supporters? They respond to ridiculously vague concepts like, "CHANGE" and vote based on skin color not the issues. I am white but would happily support a good AA candidate or good woman candidate, Hispanic, Asian, etc. I don't care what race, sex, so, etc they happen to be. I am only concerned with choosing the best person for the job. Not the person who looks the most like me or makes me feel better about myself. In this case BHO and JM are both terrible so I just have to decide which one will do less damage over the next four years. Either way, neither one of them will make it to a 2nd term.

Thank God for positive people in the Country...The United States have always had strong and vibrant First Ladies. Many of the social changes have come about by conciencious wifes of the President. We as a nation must continue to learn from our past misstakes in order to move forward into a better America, or we can continue to harbor on racism and hatred towards other Americans who have served and protected the great nation. Bravo for Mrs. Bush and many God continue to bless you and your family.

Obama will need SOME of Clinton's supporters in general election, but, not ALL!

The Clinton DEMAGOGUE haver done a great job to stir up a group of Ferraro-like angry and bitter supporters, if they keep their minds closed, there is no need to waste time on them!

There will always be groups like Ferraro and fanatical evangelicals, they will never be happy unless it is their own way and only if they can figure out what they are really angry and bitter about their own lives!

The Clintons have been the MOST POLORIZING figures in recent history. They cannot be trusted.

No VP to the Clintons! We do not need to have 3-Cheney-like Clintons in Obama administrations.

No more Clintons' drama and divisiveness!

Laura Bush, I have one advice for you impeach your husband for killing 4000+ American soldiers and 100,000 Iraq people and putting this country into over 1 trillion dollars worth of dept.

Where have you been Laura for the last 8 years you people get me sick when you only come out during an election year to speak your minds?

I can’t wait the Bush’s and Cheney’s are gone.

I really am saddened that some of the democrats that supported Hillary will vote for McCain. Its sad that they would rather watch the economy get worse, gas go through the roof and my comrades die in Iraq. And its just because lets just tell the truth. Obama is a black man. That can only be the reason because Hillary Cllinton and Obama were rather close on how they wanted to lead the country. I wish we would just be honest. The world is not ready for an African American president.

One step forward and two steps back.

This one is going out to the women who are buying the republican strategy of divide and conquer.

Hillary running for president was a huge step for equal rights, the overturn of Roe VS. Wade will be two steps back.

Really think about what you're willing to do because you have issues with a Black man being president.

Educate yourself people. If you voted for Hillary then you should vote for Obama. Their voting records are nearly identical.Otherwise you're not voting based on issues but you're voting based on personality. Bush was elected based on personality. A vote for McCain is a vote for more war. THINK and stop using your emotions.

Wow...she should maybe run for president. That was a very good bi-partisan analysis. Very well put Mrs. Bush. I don't think anyone can criticize her for that and if you do then maybe you need to take a step back and take a look at yourself.

why do the obama zealots feel everyone else is obligated to start worshipping their messiah, now that he is the appointed nominee? im an independent who plans to vote for mccain but im curious about this strange phenomenon. I have watched the obama people belittle the clinton voters as ignorant, racist, uneducated, and just plain stupid and i cannot for the world figure out why the arrogant, hateful, and obnoxious obama fans believe the clinton people would ever want to vote for a man who encourages this kind of slander and vicious insults.

I love Hillary but can't vote for Obama. I don't think he has experience to run this country and furthermore Michelle Obama has me really turned off. I don't think Obama can beat McCain. The only way I would vote for Obama is if Hillary is the VP. That's It for me.

Let's face it. Obama won fair and square. It's a shame to see people who can't accept defeat. You all are a bunch of cry baby sore losers! I can't believe adults act this way. Obama has treated Hillary with nothing but respect. You all seem to totally forget all the comments Hillary and her husband made towards Obama. And for you all to say he's inexperience and blah, blah, blah, well, NONE of these presidents had experience before they ran for President, didn't they? NO ONE knew who they were before they ran either.

If Hillary wasn't married to Bill, NONE of you would have known who she was. Everybody slamming Obama because you say he's not QUALIFIED, well if you look at it, NONE of these presidents were qualified to run either. Hillary is not qualified either because she's running on her husband's legacy. She DOES NOT have that much more experience than Obama. Sure she worked to shape healthcare and all that, but that does not amount to EXPERIENCE.

If you people would look at her record closely (first lady years do not count) against Obama's, she DOES NOT have that much more experience than he has. You people "selectively" ignore the facts and say she's qualified because she's Bill's wife....pathetic.

Why do some people think they always have to tell other people what to do. The media will always misconstrue what everyone says. Laura has avoided this by not saying anything...which is good, that way she can't be misconstrued.

That's just not Michelle's personality. She has something to say and will deal with the media.

Wow! I already commented, but now reading all of these comments, its obvious a lot of people feel the same way. We really missed out on what could have been a really great First Lady during this administration.

The other comments are from a few right-wing interlopers posing as Hillary Clinton supporters who are going to vote McCain. We all know they're not *real* Clinton Supporters, because no Democrat in their right mind would vote for John McCain.
