All you people who keep saying not to worry about experience and just vote the party better think back to Jimmy Carter's days in the White House. No foreign policy and Iran held hostages until hours after Ronald Reagans inauguration. We don't need inexperience. Now more than ever, we need someone who knows what they're doing and that is NOT Barack Obama. He doesn't even make decisions unless it's for political reasons. What is he going to do when he holds the power of the U.S. in his hand? He scares me too much.

Strong-arming, threats, and bold stupidity won't work on us, Clinton/McCain supporters. You are crying now, but you will see the light and come running to Obama in November. We'll leave the light on for you, it's only a matter of time now. Now go out and play and try not to poke each other in the eye.

I truly believe in order to get the Democrat support that Hillary holds and
to seal any type of Presidency you should choose her. My family and
I will pledge our support to McCain if we see any other choice. We number over 100 family and friends. We really don't have a great deal of faith in Obama.. We just don't believe in him as a future leader ... Sorry but we lost that months ago. Hopefully he will make the right choice...I thank that having a Kennedy on his team is just a token. All because she is the daughter of a former president doesn't mean she has the experience our no how to help choose a V.P.

You Democrats are such suckers! Hillary gets beat and then start to whine and cry and suddenly the whole party is in shambles! Ha Ha!!

I mean McCain can call his wife bad names, and sides with Bush on almost every single policy issue while Obama has almost the exact same policies as Hillary and treats his wife will love and respect but suddenly Obama is a sexist and McCain is a saint! I love it!

President McCain...new face same old policies! Welcome to hell!

I am a Hillary Clinton supporter and will continue to be because I believe she is THE BEST person to turn this country around. There are too many reasons why I don't like Barack Obama and wont' vote for him. McCain is a moderate, not a conservative. He has a history of working across party lines and of voting against the die hard republicans when necessary. I can live with that. He's a well respected Senator who has a long history that shows his experience. Barack Obama is a career candidate who used dirty Chicago Politics to get where he is. I don't trust him and I won't vote for him.

I have some news for those emotional Hillory supports. HRC can compete for President at least in 2016 only if you make Obama win this time. If he loses, she will be branded as a spoiler and her influence in the party will be badly hit. He will be competing again and again for Democratic nomination beating her all the times. This time he did not win places like California because Obama was little unknown both in the party and among democratic voters, but that will not happen next time. With gradually sagging influence in the party, Clinton will neither be able to raise the money or win votes as she did now. Supporting Barack and make him win is the only way she can gain respect and win the support of his constituencies which are essential to her victory in future. For winning, the support from blue collar voters, women, and hispanics only are not sufficient; she needs blacks, and the young and college educated people as well. Just remember that there are people like you in Obama's camp who would have been thinking like you, had the nomination been stolen from him after his sizable lead in delegates- the only metric that has been agreed upon by all as the valid metric for nomination before the race started, Even in the worst case scenario of full reinstatement of Florida and Michigan (with allocation of 0 delegates from Michigan to him), he was still leading in the delegates by a margin of 80. With such a lead, it is only but fair to make him the nominee. HENCE, PLEASE USE YOUR REASON AND FAIR JUDGEMENT, AND VOTE FOR OBAMA. if you are a Rush Lumaugh' style republican or a person committed not to vote for a black man whatever his credentials are, I will not even try to convince you. Good Luck!

Leave the man alone! Hillary has the largest piece of baggage on the list....Bill. There is no way he could keep his hands off or mouth shut on any given situation. There are just too many other very well qualified people that could do the job equally as well, if not more effectively than Hillary. Sen Obama wants a person he can trust. Have you noticed all the negative talk she said against Obama that's already being used by the GOP against him? Think how bad it would get if she were his VP pick. Of course, it would include anything Bill said too. Nope, no Hillary, way too much baggage.

i was a die-hard clinton supporter.
I'm a well-educated individual . I once said i would vote for mccain if hillary was not on the ticket.
I was showing my ignorance.
vote with your heart and go with Obama.
stop knocking the clintons and the country's 8 years of bliss in the 90s as well. its really getting old and shows your ignorance as americans. I don't think Obama will choose clinton but if he does it shouldn't matter. vote on the issues , not the individual. Democrats in 2008 don't throw away our country's future and vote for 4 more years of high gas prices, bad healthcare, a housing crisis etc.

A vote for McCain is a vote for the Republican agenda, not for John McCain. That's how the Republicans have woked the system. It doesn't matter who the individuals are, it's the party policies you are voting for.
Those Democrats who would rather vote for McCain rather than Obama, because they prefered Clinton, had better think really hard about the future of this country.
We have done some serious soul searching.
We will vote for Obama. If he wins, we are hopeful that the US can once again be a place to live and to be proud of.
If McCain wins, we will not live in the US under the Republican policies that have hurt veryone except the top 1.0% of income earners and their friends in Saudi Arabia and in China.

The fact of the matter is none of these candidates have experience being President. It about putting together a strong team with each having expertise in different areas. Obama has shown he can do that. Some people will not vote for Obama because he is African American. If they choose to vote for McBush let them...Just don't come back in 4 years talking about CHANGE.

Gotta be Strickland or Rendell doesn't it.

Bayh doesn't get him Indiana ... Richardson gets him 5 votes (maybe 8 more from Colorado).

HRC gives the GOP far too much ammo! (and this comes from a country whose last two leaders have been women)

Us kiwis are 2:1 in favour of Obama.

HRC supporters - as we say in NZ "build a bridge and get over it!" Your girl took the nomination for granted and made a whole series of bad misjudgements - not something you'd want repeating in the White House! It's rally round the leader time.

kia ora ('good fortune') kia kaha (be strong) Barack.

You "Clinton Dems" that are voting for McCain are idiots! Boo hoo... Hillary LOST so you're going to vote for someone that is her polar opposite??? You want to vote for McCain to continue Bush's broken policies? Obama's and Clinton's policies are essentially the same and neither one wants McCain to win this election. If you are really with her, vote with her for Obama! Don't throw away our country's future over her loss int he primary election!

I would have wanted her to be the VP... If she dropped out of the race when everyone told her it was impossible to win... which is was... and if she hadn't tried the political BS/Gimmic of proposing the gas tax break. That was for Political points and nothing more.

I will vote for Ronald McDonald if he runs on the Democratic party. Anything is better than Bush-McCain! Anything is better than policies we all know will/have failed.

Claiming Repubs are posing as former clinton supporters now switching to McCain.

Everything is a conspiracy to you clowns, isn't it?

I have never seen such a bunch of hateful, divisive, irritating people as you democrats.

If Hillary had been the nominee, I would have voted for her, you would have to be DUMB!!! to want to live 4 more years, like this. It's funny how the HRC supporters say that Obama stole the Nominee! It wasn't untill she needed more delegates, that we had to go and count michigan and Florida? So I don't think that it is Obama's credentialing that some of you are concerned about, I think it is that hurdle COLOR!

Why I don't like Obama. He ran his campaign on the "no race" issue, but anytime anything was brought up about Obama is was because of race. No one could question is judgement. He rode this horse all the way. Walk the talk, not ride the horse. He has virtually no experience. He voting record is almost non existent on issues that count. He was absent or "present only" on most controversial voting issues. He makes no stand!! Just rhetoric.
I want someone who is experienced, willing to take a stand, and not hide behind the very cloak he insists he doesn't believe in.

Exactly - If he picks some other woman that isn't Hillary he is done. Women will stay at home.....trust me on that. People won't even think about the McCain factor since they will be so furious at what a "Dis" that would be. If he doesn't pick Hillary he better be smart and pick someone that doesn't smack Hillary in the face. Can anyone really see Hillary campagning for Obama and another woman? TRUST me that would a MAJOR DIS. That would back fire on Obama and I would actually laugh at that one. I would be in pain for 4 years with McCain but I'd also laugh.......

This whole "experience" debate is really stupid! JFK had very little experience. It's a plus for Obama not to have Washington experience. He brings a new vision. Looking at how he ran the campaign, he will surely have the most experienced people around him.
He will be a great president.

This is great News, for the Obama Team, to meet with the the experience for counsel, this is a common sense approach for selecting the right person for Barack Obama, VP, after all it is his decision, and not the Clinton Supporters, or any other experts.

For you Obama supporters who keep saying Obama does not need Hilary, need a reality check. This is politics and Obama has shown himself to seek the politcally expediant rout.

Hilary's supports do not need to rub it in either. Obama can't win it without you, and he knows it. Hilary will be given something, if not the VP slot than a cabinet seat. She is to strong to be ignored.

Now the reality is that Obama can't look to cave, so he needs to let the process run its course, he will work something out with Hillary which will be to their mutual benefit.

So lets stop fighting and unite.

Oh you that will go vote for McShame that are Republicans pretend ing to be Democrats dare you try and pull this nonsence thinking we believe you .by trooling these sites with this nonsence and a mask.
For the Hillary fallowers that cannot see the light to vote Republican its either a scare tactic to get Hillary as vp or you have lost it and want to overturn Roe v Wade also keep sending our young people to an unjust Bush/Cheney war for years to come not to mention all the other unending hell they have caused and out of spite you would vote for more of this? OMG what are you thinking must be nothing .
Since when does race or gender make a candidate what a lame idea and sore looser even young children show better behavior when loosing.
If you recall it was Hillary that threw the kitchen sink with anything regardless of how low or personal she could reach /It was Hillary and only Hillary doing this .

You Hillary supporters are really stupid. If Obama doesn't win because Dems stay home, vote for McCain or write in Hillary, you better bet she won't win in 2012. We will make sure of it. What goes around comes around, haven't you people learned that yet. Its the nasty tactics that made her lose the primary. Hopefully Hillary has learned and better tell her people if they want her to have a shot of winning in 2012 they better vote for Obama because of the simple fact that he is the Nominee and he's a Dem.

Clinton is done. She probably will better off just staying in the Senate regardless.

Sen. Finegold? of MN might be a good call. But Gov. Rendell or Evan Bayh are solid picks as well. Rendell is probably the best bet.

Obama should pick a moderate white male to ease the fears of the white blue collar voters that are critical to his election.
