When this general election season is over, poor John will be back in the Senate. Age is a factor for President because the job is grueling. Like him or not, a very healthy GWB has aged considerable in 7 1/2 years and its not going to be easier for the next person!

while the article is questionable as news... it is somewhat interesting just how many of these little slips of the tongue McCain makes. He's obviously a well seasoned public servant/speaker. He's been through more personal trials in his time as a POW than most Americans will ever experience... but the simple fact is that he is fairly old. It is not that complicated. On the War: anyone who voted for this unneccessary waste of blood and treasure does not deserve to be president. On the economy: if rising gas prices are a result of supply and demand, then increasing supply and reducing demand would be the best long term answer. In the short term however, something must be done to help people who are struggling to cope,

Were we not spending billions a month on a fruitless endeavor in Iraq perhaps we would have enough money to invest in the technologies neccessary to develop the alternatives that would help us to drop our addition to foriegn oil.

Somebody ought to make this argument to the people. Mccain can not, but Obama can and should!

And she tried to take the entire American public for fools - believe me, an American first lady under sniper fire in a foreign country would have been huge, earth-shattering news at the time.
