I am a lifelong Democrat and Hillary supporter. There is no way on earth that I will vote for Obama in November even if Clinton is on the ticket. He is not qualified to be president and his arrogance and inexperience would just be a left wing version of George Bush. I know he has tons of money and the media behind him, but I think there are enough clear thinking people like me who will defeat him in the fall.

The affect of the clinton vote that claims they won't support Obama is overstated if you ask me. He doesn't need her on the ticket. Sixty percent of them are already willing to vote for him. Twenty percent say the will stay home...I'll be genorous and give you fifteen by November...fine that will be circumvented by the new crop of voters. Another twenty say they will vote for McCain, but for all the bitterness and anger they have now, I'm willing to bet no more that ten percent of that twenty end up actually votin for McCain when the issues are actually laid out. McCain has a bigger problem with the Republican base than Barack has with Clinton supporters.

I do have one question for all of the Hillary supporters who like to speak on how much Hillary can get done.
IN THE BEGINNING she had the following...
1) a 20 to 30% percent lead in the polls
2) about 20 to 30 million dollars for the campaign
3) probably 30% of the female vote locked up
4) 30 years experience and one of the MOST popular Ex-Presidents as her husband

AND she still could not get 55% of her OWN party to vote for her!!

PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU CAN BE SO SURE SHE CAN ACCOMPLISH SO MUCH!!

Typically the voter turnout is 50-55 million in the GE. It may rise to new heights this year but 18 million voters for Hillary WILL make a huge impact on the outcome.

I was for Hillary before all of the lies and the racist talk by her husband and her campaign and she did it herself too. I really don't like what they was doing to one that was supposed to be on the same side as they were. If this woman is on the ticket I will make all the calls that I can and ask them not to vote in November. Hillary Clinton tried to destroy Senator Obama and the Democratic Party and I lost respect for her acting like a man belting down shots and just acting manly it was not a good fit for her. Obama and Clinton differ on very few issues, but they differ greatly on style and character.

He won the nomination because of style and character, which boils down to positivity vs. negativity. Usually it's the negativity that works, but this time it was different. You have to at least give Obama credit for that. His own supporters begged him to go negative, and he refused. And he won.

I was watching Larry King with the VP choices and Gergen said if he is up 10 points by Aug. he won't pick Clinton anyway. This was a strange analysis I thought because McCain can easily go up 10 points within the next 2 months after. I wouldn't want to play Russian Roullette if I knew I had a sure thing with Hillary and all her voters coming aboard. Webb and Byah won't bring them in and Richardson isn't even mentioned. He is still criticizing the Clintons when interviewed and made himself political poison. The others mentioned are all weak prospects for Obama. I don't believe the VP spot isn't important to win either when Lieberman was the VP nominee he got all the Jewish vote for Gore. To bad they punched the wrong name. LOL

Kyle – I think that we should ALWAYS be open to voting for any candidate regardless of party affiliation. I myself am a long-time registered Independent who found a candidate he liked early on. Unfortunately, that candidate was Edwards and he was out in Jan. Of the 3 remaining, I prefered Obama slightly over Clinton and way more than McCain. That being said, I am glad that the Rep. candidate this year is a man of honor and character, even if I dont agree with his course.

I am a Hillary supporter, but do not want her to accept VP position simply because she will always be blamed for everything that goes wrong for Obama. I hope he selects Bill Richardson as VP because I believe this will definetly encourage a lot of Hillary's supporters to let the Democratic party exactly how we feel about how Hillary was treated by media and DNC. I did not have a problem with Richardson endorsing Obama, but then he intentionally went on television and said demeaning things about the Clintons. It is really ironic that Clintons never said one mean thing about Richardson during the entire process.

No differences? Tell that to the 15 million Americans that he is willing to leave uninsured.

What that means is that while 1 in 20 Americans will continue to be uninsured, 1 in 4 black people will go uninsured.

He avoided the tough issues in the Illinois senate by voting neither yes nor no but present on 120 bills. What will he do if he makes it to the white house?

He's been big on criticizing Hilary for her positions – well, at least she has them. He is better than McCain, but not by much.
