Evan Bayh is a putz he will do nothing for the ticket. Why so many names how ridiculous. Obama could have the winning ticket if he just chooses Hillary. Its those idiot advisors of his that nixing this like Pelosi and Reid. God forbid Hillary has a better position than botox queen Pelosi. Well if Romney is on the ticket for McCain that could put an ax to Dems. big time. Romney is a strong second runner and a good businessman and he would help our economy.

Obama's supporters are so hateful. If he picks Hillary that would be a good thing. I don't understand why they hate Hillary so much when she has been a great Senator and has fought for healthcare for all. Your need to get a crip and stop listening to the media. Because they also hateful to Hillary. However, if Obama does not win McCain in the fall that's a problem. It will only show that Hillary was the stronger canadate. Also, if Obama picks a female for VP other than Hillary I will not vote for him in the fall. So he better think things through very carefully because I'm sure I am not the only supporter who feel this way. And to all Obama's supporters stop treating people the way you would want to be treated. Hillary 2012!

Come on. I applaud the discretion but let's be serious already. There are 18 million reasons for Obama to choose the person he is going to choose. The biggest reason of all, she already has more PEOPLE who have voted for her. If he goes too far out of the box he ends up choosing an Admiral Stockdale.

Whom ever he picks, I hope that we can get to the business of fixing the energy crisis, the economy, global warming and healthcare. We also need to end this senseless war, bring home our troops and repair the damaged international relationships! We need a hybrid, part Al Gore, part Colin Powell, part Bill Richardson. Oh heck , just pick a woman! We are used to multi-tasking! I guess Hillary!

Colin Powell will not accept a position as long as the Iraq war continues.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have the power to defeat anyone if they unite.

For the people that dislike Hillary as VP... I cannot honestly think of anyone else who is more well known... and who can help to unite the Democratic party.

A Vote for Barrack Obama is a vote for Hillary Clinton because they support the same cause.
A vote for John McCain is a vote for a George Bush third terms more wars, bad economy and more country will not want to deal with our country. If you were really a true Hillary supporter that want a better America for this generation and the future generation you must vote Democratic this November. Please do yourself a good favor and vote for the Democratic nominee this coming November.
No hard feeling because Hillary has none against Barrack. We must put the Republican out of the white house.
As you can see, we are in a big recession and that will get worse with a John McCain.
I want to tell John McCain that gas tax holiday is not a solution for our energy problem and is not going to be a solution. This gas tax holiday shows that John McCain do not understand the economy. Keating 5 john McCain took money from the Keating five for political favor.

To Kescia: How many women have forgiven their husbands cheating or vice versa. How old are you? His cheating was a private matter like in any family. It is up to the woman or man to try to forgive and sometimes it makes the marriage stronger. So why are you bringing this up. Are you a Republican or Hillary hater. Taxpayers paid millions of taxpayers money for going after him on this. But Nancy Pelosi and Democrats will not go after Bush/Cheney on the war and other things. There lies caused the deaths of thousands, thousands that are disable for life and millions of dollars wasted that could have been used in this country Go figure.

Jim Webb -- he'll bring in the rural white vote and the swing states. He has a military background, is a Vietnam vet, highly decorated, he has DC experience as well as local political experience.

And please -- Hilary supporters: continue to suport her as she supports Obama. A vote for McCain is a vote for no choice, continuous war, more taxes and higher gas prices. The man is clueless!

But hey! That's just my opinion!

Hey, Hillary Supporters,

You say you won't vote for Obama because his campaign was sexist? How about President McCain appointing Supreme Court justices who overturn Roe v. Wade, how about President McCain signing parental notification laws and global gag rules into law, how about President McCain continuing the War in Iraq and privatizing Social Security. If those issues are really less important to you than personal pride, then you are all incredibly ignorant and you will only have yourselves to blame for them!

If the democratic party was really serious about changes, then Hillary Clinton should be the nominee, not some Junior Senator with limited government interaction. Obama is nothing more than a democratic Junior Bush. Does the nation really think that someone who's linked to radicalism is the right person for the most important job in the world? Mercy on us all!

Obama= all sizzle and no steak.
Obama= a democratic Junior Bush.
Obama= 4 more difficult years
Obama= BAD NEWS for USA

I am a die-hard Hillary supporter. I will not stay home, write her name in, or vote for John McCain. I will vote for Obama enthusiastically and show my support and volunteer efforts for the general election the same way I would have for Hillary. I would love to see her as V.P. but that is Obama's choice, it will be his presidency. You are shooting yourself and Hillary in the foot if you don't help elect Senator Barack Obama for President. If you don't like Obama, fine, but keep in mind a vote for him is a vote for Hillary and all prominent Democrats successful political future. Please don't vote out of spite, if I got over it you can too, I have loved Hillary for 15 years and have waited my entire high-school and adulthood waiting for her to run.

Obama/Clinton 2008! or whoever he chooses will get my vote!

I am a die-hard Hillary supporter. I will not stay home, write her name in, or vote for John McCain. I will vote for Obama enthusiastically and show my support and volunteer efforts for the general election the same way I would have for Hillary.
I hope Obama will not pick Hillary, because I will not vote for him under any circumstance, although I am a Democrat. Rationally speaking, I appreciate his standing on many issues, and yet find his arrogance and ruthlessness highly distasteful. Do you recall he denounced Hillary's experience as First Lady as "nothing?" In my mind, any experience, whether paid or not, can be valuable. I also find his consistent message of "This is my/our moment, your, meaning anyone chronologically older than him, is over." This is so repulsive.

Mr. Obama, I have no doubt that you are intelligent, and yet I am considerably troubled by your sexism and ageism.

Leon, get off of drugs. It doesn't help your analytical ability. Hillary supporters, take it or leave it but stop whining. If you're voting for McCain then adopt him instead of prefacing everything with, "I'm a Hillary supporter." It doesn't matter anymore. Threats are just signs of weakness. Vote McCain if that's your choice. If you do support him, learn his record and be able to defend him in comparison to Obama.

GOOD LUCK! LOL

How come nobody mentions Bob Graham? He's a former Senator and Governor of the all important state of Florida. He brings much foreign policy experience to the table. He was a former chairman of the National Intelligence Committee. He was also against the war in Iraq. I can't think of a better choice. Obama/Graham 2008!

So far, not a single Obama hater has posted a logical, rational case for not supporting the presumed Democratic nominee.

NOT A SINGLE ONE.

The Democrats and republicans are POLAR OPPOSITES.

but.. I suspect a couple of things...
1) there are a HUGE amount of republican posers on here with a misison to keep the party divided. I have even begun to notice that the posts are peppered with the usual right wing garbage... (marxist, communist, liberal, blah-blah-blah)

2) the 'other' haters are people incensed that the nominee is Obama.
These people have their own 'issues' and WOULD NEVER HAVE VOTED FOR OBAMA IN THE FIRST PLACE. (no matter how much you deny it, or use "excuses" like experience..... we all know the truth)

Clinton Supporters: IF Obama does not chose Clinton, then do VOTE for MCCAIN! At least, McCain is qualified and experienced and knows what is going on. Obama hasn't a clue! If he had a clue, he would have already named Clinton and stopped his foolish search. Obama hasn't a clue, nor does his wife. Both losers.

Would you folks get over it.

I'm sure Hillary is being considered fairly against all of the other candidates. I personally hope for someone other than her but would still vote for Barack and the Dems if she is on the ticket.

Grow up. Think about the stakes of this fall's election. Read Barack's books, his web site detail and review some of his public appearances from the archives. Turn off CNN and start thinking for yourselves.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him extend the option to a moderate Republican. Not a bad strategy if too many Hillary supporters fail to come around. Many of my fellow Barack supporters are former Republicans.

Thank you Sue Howes! Wow...a true Democrat among all the vitrol on this blog.

I will say it is funny to keep seeing people's need to retierate what they aren't going to do on every single blog every day as if we (the rest of the Democratic Family) didn't hear you the first time. LOL If you don't want to support Sen. Obama and feel HIllary is the only candidate to do it for you good for you. No hard feelings. Either you will give your vote to McCain or make a conscious decision to give up your voice in November by refusing to vote for your party whatever your reason.

Sue won't be one of those people nor will I even if Obama was and is my candidate of choice. It would have been no different had Hillary won. It's not about Barack or Hillary but THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. All these threats and "better do as I say" tantrums by people who can't accept the reality of the current situation are pointless and still do nothing to stop the train. Even as powerful as Hillary supporters perceive themselves to be their voices are not the only ones that matter nor are they the only voters that Sen. Obama will need to earn in his corner in order to win the presidency come November.

It's quite simple...you access where your life, goals and dreams are now and then you compare them to the candidate whose policies will best serve that mold and there's your answer as to whom to vote for. Calling out Obama supporters on things others have said and done equally as disrespectful/hateful is pointless now because it doesn't change the reality...Sen. Barack Obama IS the Democratic nominee for the party for President. So again, if you, as a Democrat will never vote for him you have Barr, McCain, Nader, etc. The train still keeps moving irregardless.

I wish all the Hillary supporters who don't feel "connected" enough to vote for Obama, or feel he is "too cocky" or "too confident" would take the time to review his policy ideas, website, etc. and be smart about the meaning of being a responsible voter.

This election is not about hurt feelings or emotional "connection", it's about war, women's rights, worker's rights, healthcare, social security and a whole host of issues that my generation desperately want to see a democrat preside over. Folks who say "I'm staying home" or "voting for McCain if no Hillary" are not simply impacting Obama or "getting back" at him. They are handing over our future, especially the direction of the Supreme Court--to the same neo-con, special-interest corporate nightmare of the last eight years. PLEASE think about the country's, and the our future, not your own personal vendettas!! The presidential election is not a personality contest, it's about ISSUES.

I for one can't even think about voting McCane or I will be homeless

I for one can't even think about voting McCane or I will be homeless

I see there is plenty of Kool-Aid on this comment site. I for one am not drinking it.

I'm not voting Democrat unless Hillary's on the ticket. Otherwise, Obama's vision for "unity" is naught but a ridiculous farce.

Dear Mr Obama,
Please do NOT choose Chris Dodd for VP. He is out-of-touch with his constituents here at home and we are tired of seeing how his strings are being pulled from special interest lobbyists as Chair of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.

His own failed bid for president is proof that this media hungry politician ( watch any recent footage of Sen Ted Kennedy sailing and Dodd can be seen jumping into frame like a 2yr old starved for attention) is scared that his time is up. Yes, we do need change, but choosing an ineffective, Washington insider like Dodd definitely not what we need now.

One more request......Let McCain pick Lieberman, we can't wait to get rid of him too.

Get over yourselves Hillary supporters. This isn't about your pride. This is about the future of America.

Do you really think Hillary wants McCain to be President? Four years of McCain could just take us down a path that we can't back out of. McCain could signify the fall of Rome...

Obama and Colin (General) Powell; now that has a wonderful ring to it! Or would white america not go for two African Americans in the White House at the same time? The General brings the military experiences to the table.

The Obama Team can float 200 names, and they still won't have a qualified or experienced Leader. Obama should NOT be the Nominee, and he is NOT fit for the job. One day, hopefully before November, Democrats will see what a horrible mistake they have made.........especially the so-called 'super-delegates.' Of Course, Nancy Pelosi would be on the list.! Pelosi has NOT wanted Clinton to hold a Major Office, for Pelosi wants to be the Top Dog. She's been saying 'nay' to an Obama-Clinton ticket from the beginning, and this is the REASON. Pelosi wants the #2 spot. Pelosi isn't worth anyone's time or effort; she's NOT qualified either! That would be a lulu of a ticket: Obama - Pelosi !!! HA! Hilarious! Blind leading the Blind!

Hillary should at least be asked; If she accepts she'll make as fine a VP as she has a NY Senator. Who ARE all these other nobody's?
Are any of them REALLY qualified for President if something ever happened? I think not!!
Hillary will bring intelligence, experience and numerous key states to the ticket. Bill may have campaigned for her, but she's her own woman and the Dems know that.
