Evan Bayh is a putz he will do nothing for the ticket. Why so many names how ridiculous. Obama could have the winning ticket if he just chooses Hillary. Its those idiot advisors of his that nixing this like Pelosi and Reid. God forbid Hillary has a better position than botox queen Pelosi. Well if Romney is on the ticket for McCain that could put an ax to Dems. big time. Romney is a strong second runner and a good businessman and he would help our economy.

I don't understand why they hate Hillary so much when she has been a great Senator and has fought for healthcare for all. Your need to get a crip and stop listening to the media. Because they also hateful to Hillary. However, if Obama does not win McCain in the fall that's a problem. It will only show that Hillary was the stronger canadate. Also, if Obama picks a female for VP other than Hillary I will not vote for him in the fall. So he better think things through very carefully because I'm sure I am not the only supporter who feel this way. Jim Webb - he'll bring in the rural white vote and the swing states. He has a military background, is a Vietnam vet, highly decorated, he has DC experience as well as local political experience.

You say you won't vote for Obama because his campaign was sexist? How about President McCain appointing Supreme Court justices who overturn Roe v. Wade, how about President McCain signing parental notification laws and global gag rules into law, how about President McCain continuing the War in Iraq and privatizing Social Security. I am a die-hard Hillary supporter. I will not stay home, write her name in, or vote for John McCain. I will vote for Obama enthusiastically and show my support and volunteer efforts for the general election the same way I would have for Hillary. I would love to see her as V.P. but that is Obama's choice, it will be his presidency. You are shooting yourself and Hillary in the foot if you don't help elect Senator Barack Obama for President. I hope Obama will not pick Hillary, because I will not vote for him under any circumstance, although I am a Democrat. Rationally speaking, I appreciate his standing on many issues, and yet find his arrogance and ruthlessness highly distasteful. Do you recall he denounced Hillary's experience as First Lady as "nothing?" In my mind, any experience, whether paid or not, can be valuable. I also find his consistent message of "This is my/our moment, your, meaning anyone chronologically older than him, is over." This is so repulsive. Mr. Obama, I have no doubt that you are intelligent, and yet I am considerably troubled by your sexism and ageism.

How come nobody mentions Bob Graham? He's a former Senator and Governor of the all important state of Florida. He brings much foreign policy experience to the table. I'm sure Hillary is being considered fairly against all of the other candidates. I personally hope for someone other than her but would still vote for Barack and the Dems if she is on the ticket.

Grow up. Think about the stakes of this fall's election. Read Barack's books, his web site detail and review some of his public appearances from the archives. Turn off CNN and start thinking for yourselves.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him extend the option to a moderate Republican. Not a bad strategy if too many Hillary supporters fail to come around. Many of my fellow Barack supporters are former Republicans.

Thank you Sue Howes! Wow...a true Democrat among all the vitrol on this blog. I will say it is funny to keep seeing people's need to retierate what they aren't going to do on every single blog every day as if we (the rest of the Democratic Family) didn't hear you the first time. LOL If you don't want to support Sen. Obama and feel HIllary is the only candidate to do it for you good for you. No hard feelings. Either you will give your vote to McCain or make a conscious decision to give up your voice in November by refusing to vote for your party whatever your reason. Sue won't be one of those people nor will I even if Obama was and is my candidate of choice. It would have been no different had Hillary won. It's not about Barack or Hillary but THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. All these threats and "better do as I say" tantrums by people who can't accept the reality of the current situation are pointless and still do nothing to stop the train. Even as powerful as Hillary supporters perceive themselves to be their voices are not the only ones that matter nor are they the only voters that Sen. Obama will need to earn in his corner in order to win the presidency come November. It's quite simple...you access where your life, goals and dreams are now and then you compare them to the candidate whose policies will best serve that mold and there's your answer as to whom to vote for. Calling out Obama supporters on things others have said and done equally as disrespectful/hateful is pointless now because it doesn't change the reality...Sen. Barack Obama IS the Democratic nominee for the party for President. So again, if you, as a Democrat will never vote for him you have Barr, McCain, Nader, etc. The train still keeps moving irregardless.

I wish all the Hillary supporters who don't feel "connected" enough to vote for Obama, or feel he is "too cocky" or "too confident" would take the time to review his policy ideas, website, etc. and be smart about the meaning of being a responsible voter. This election is not about hurt feelings or emotional "connection", it's about war, women's rights, worker's rights, healthcare, social security and a whole host of issues that my generation desperately want to see a democrat preside over. Folks who say "I'm staying home" or "voting for McCain if no Hillary" are not simply impacting Obama or "getting back" at him. They are handing over our future, especially the direction of the Supreme Court--to the same neo-con, special-interest corporate nightmare of the last eight years. PLEASE think about the country's, and the our future, not your own personal vendettas!! The presidential election is not a personality contest, it's about ISSUES.

Dear Mr Obama,
Please do NOT choose Chris Dodd for VP. He is out-of-touch with his constituents here at home and we are tired of seeing how his strings are being pulled from special interest lobbyists as Chair of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.

His own failed bid for president is proof that this media hungry politician ( watch any recent footage of Sen Ted Kennedy sailing and Dodd can be seen jumping into frame like a 2yr old starved for attention) is scared that his time is up. Yes, we do need change, but choosing an ineffective, Washington insider like Dodd definitely not what we need now.

One more request......Let McCain pick Lieberman, we can't wait to get rid of him too.
