I really admire this quote from someone above who is obviously more educated than all us bitter, redneck, gun toting, highschool drop out, Hillary Clinton supportors:

"Hillary supporters are a bunch of idiots uneducated with no brain. All they do is hate that is because they do not have the intellegence to know the difference"

Nice..I guess because Hillary had more voters who did not finish school or did not have college educations that makes us all stupid.

I don't think education is a factor in this...common sense is and thats the problem. You could be the most book smart person in the world but if you lack common sense your still an idiot.

I am not going to cross party lines, I will always be a democrat. I will also not vote for Obama because I think he is all talk, just as I would not vote for John Kerry because he is pansy...in my opinion of course.

When Obama flops as president I don't have it on my conscience that I voted for an intolerable racist slack just so I can call myself a democrat .

"Hopefully you can resign from this "undemocratic /hijacked party" and do whatever you want."

I have seen that word "hijacked" many times referring to Obama's victory over Clinton in this close but clear race. Can someone please describe exactly how the nomination was "hijacked" from Senator Clinton?

Please don't use the "she won the popular vote" line. First of all, it's not true, unless you want to count Michigan votes only for Clinton because she was the only candidate on the ballot. That's real democratic now, isn't it?

Please don't use the "count every vote in Michigan and Florida" line. The facts are that all of the candidates agreed to place these sanctions on FL and MI if they moved their primaries to early January. The states, knowing of the stated consequences, did so anyway. If you have anger surrounding this, please direct it at the state governments that made the decision to move the primaries, not on the DNC or Obama.

Please don't use the "sexism in the media and throughout the country" line. As inappropriate and prevalent as sexism is, racism is equally inappropriate and significantly more prevalent. The media in general has been all over the map with its biases -- sometimes favoring Clinton, sometimes favoring Obama. And, btw, Olbermann, O'Reilly, Mathews, etc. are not news reporters. They are commentators, and are not required to be unbiased. If you get your "news" from these sources, you will indeed have an unclear sense of reality.

Now, how was the nomination hijacked from HRC?

Obama's mother is "white" and father is "black." Why do people identify him as "black" instead of "white" or "gray"? Seriously, a mixed race?

I'm struck by the tone of the previous comments; so much hatred, so much negative energy. Who and what does that help? If you are so against one candidate, get up and march yourself into a field office of your preferred candidate and volunteer. Work the phone banks! Knock on doors! Enter data... but stop complaining!

For all who lament the fact that Hillary did not win the party's nomination, obviously there are more out there who did not want her. Obama is the candidate of choice, chosen by the Democratic public.

It's time to get Hillary off the pedestal and focus on the intelligence, vision and energy that Senator Obama has brought to this country.

Right now you Republicans and Democrats, Hillary and Barack supporters sound like backward, ignorant savages. Your colours are showing and the world is watching!!! If America wants to be respected around the world you have to first show respect for yourselves. You have a democratic system, there are two parties and it would be advisable for you to respect that.

It's a sad day in American history when a candidate looses outright and her supporters try to cry foul. The process of nomination has always been the same, if you loose by one vote - you loose. Why have superdelegates if they can't do what they were intended to do?. In following the primaries, it was fair as it has always been over the years. Who who changed the rules? Senator Obama was winning all the way until it was too late for Senator Clinton to catch up - she lost.

Why are you so bitter on both sides? If Senator Obama was white would you behave this way? If Senator Clinton was a man would you behave this way?

Ignorance can ruin a country - just look at what is happening the dollar!! Continue on this path and before long America will be joining the ranks of the "third world". Shame on you guys!!

I personally no longer care how anyone votes. As for me, I will be supporting Obama ALL the way to the WH. As far as those Clinton supporters leaving the party, PLEASE LEAVE because you are in for a real awakening when most blacks leave the party in 2012 because of the way you have treated Sen. Obama. I will be leading the charge! Mark my words if you think you are going to keep "using" us year after year and then when we find someone we believe in and we need YOU to be supportive of US-we are called "racists." Racists. No one called us that in the past when we were voting for people of non-color. All of this talk about "leaving the party." I NEVER once left the party no matter how much I disliked the nominee (Al Gore). I am disgusted and completely over this election. Demanding Obama pay off HRC's debts and demanding he pick her as VP-who do you people think you are? As I said we will see who has the last laugh. This is already being discussed in beauty shops. I and my family and friends (CA, FL, AL and TX) will campaign vigorously AGAINST the democratic party starting in 2011 and I am sure MANY feel the same way. There are other parties looking for OUR support. So go right ahead and you will go down in history as "The Fall of the Democratic Party". I have had enough.

I see there's still alot of sore loser Clintonites still crying over their spilled milk. Interesting to see how HRC supporters are definitely not as "TOUGH" as their candidate was. You're still looking for any excuse to blame Obama for HRC's poorly run campaign. I know the truth hurts but face reality and read all the analysis of how you and HRC blew what should have been a cakewalk to the nomination.

As for Strickland not everyone wants to be No. 2 especially if they have plans for being No. 1 someday or they have skeletons that will bite them during the vetting process.

Also I'm sick of you people threatening to vote for McSame. Please go ahead as you are guaranteeing that your children and grandchildren will be doing tours of duty in Iraq and/or Iran. You can start picking their body armor now.

The all of you are missing the point. Sure he wouldn't mine being on the ticket. But how would this go down, he being a stout Hillary supporter, konwing that Hillary want the spot, jump at the first chance of being VP? Beside they are only checking who want to and those who doesn't, that will shorten the list even more. A none Hillary supporter will accept the spot, because he will feel that he don't owe Hillary anything. This by no means indicate that Obama will have trouble filling the ticket, he will not. There are many qualified potentials just waiting to be asked. President Obama '08

Biden has made it perfectly clear that he will support the Democratic nominee, and it doesn't matter who that nominee is. He is a man of courage and the strength. A TRUE DEMOCRAT with qualities that I do admire. With that said, we may need him to remain where he is because all the other Dems on Capital Hill have been appearing a little weak lately.

Someone explain to me why I should support Obama now? Just because I supported Hillary does not mean I have to jump on the Obama train. If I wanted to support Obama I would have from the start.
As an indy voter I do not back the DNC.
I happen to like Hillary's plan for green collar jobs and her ideas for health care.
Yes, Hillary lost and yes I wish things would have gone her way but they did not. I have two choices vote for McCain or vote for someone else. It just won't be Obama.

I am so glad 18 million plus rejected dumb Hillary. America is too racist to elect a black man, so McStupid will get elected and Hillary's dumb supporters will lose their homes, get further in debt, have more rights taken away and their children will die. Meanwhile, I'll make money off of these dummies from his administration's tax cuts...Thank you dummies!

These comments confirm that a great many people in this country are so brain dead that they should not be allowed within a mile of the polls in November. After eight years of total destruction of our great country by the Republicans these people continue to support the traitors who have wiped out this country. They deserve every thing that will surely happen if another Republican is elected to the White House. To bad the rest of us would have to suffer also.

Education has nothing to do with the understanding that both left wing and right wing garbage hurt America. Perfect examples: Carter and Bush. That is precicely why Obama needs the centrist and pragmatist Hillary as his VP for a balanced ticket. Enough of left and right wing polirizing stupidity. Time for all of us to wake up to reality and bond together for a United States Of America.

Hillary supporters want Obama supporters to show Hillary some respect. Ok, can Hillary supporters show Obama some respect and stop bashing him, the race is over and he won now let it go so we can move on. At this point it really doesn't matter how much you dislike Obama because he is the Democrat nominee and you need to respect that.

Ummmm, Sandy, don't buy into CNN or any news media's slant on things. He met with more than 3 religious leaders. Wether it's by coincidence or by design, CNN only saw fit to mention the 3 that were African American.

I'm just saying, don't go buying into their perspective. Form yours. What is it you are afraid of? That Obama is secretly racist? That doesn't make any sense, his Causasian mother raised him.

Sandy - If Obama is indeed meeting with Black clergy why does that bother you. Why is their race important to you? When Obama met with Jewish people at the ACIP did you ask why there were no other blacks there? Why did you distrust Black people?

Why wrote:Why is she so much in debt? She has 18 million supporters but she's in debt. That doesn't make any sense to me. Please explain this to me?

This is a common practice when a primary season goes throughout the entire process of covering all 50 states, or as Obama would claim 52 states without covering them all. She actually raised more than 22 million dollars that will be turned over to the Democratic Party for the General election. When you have two candidates that are hotly contested until the end the winner of the nomination usally covers the debt of the runner-up, just as McCain will cover the debt of Huckabee.

And I do believe that you are bashing, why are you even talking about Senator Clinton???? the above article is about the Gov. of Ohio and Huessin Obama and the VP position.

Hillary doesn't want to be the VP on this ticket either, neither does John Edwards. Maybe he will be able to get Scarey Kerry or Rev. Wright or Rev, Wrong or Father Phleger.

Kathy, sure you don't sound bitter at all...just ignorant enough to vote for the candidate who represents the opposite of the views your favorite candidate supports. That's neither bitter nor stupid...it's what I call immature...you know like sour grapes..."If I can't get what I want, I'll try to make sure the country pays for it"

Thanksfully, your voice does not represent the vast majority of Hillary supporters. Finally, think about this, do you value one candidate more than you value the well being of the nation? If so then you should consider moving to a country where a small thing like an election wouldn't stand in the way of someone who is "inevitable".

i am neither racist, sexist, stupid or ignorant. What I am is ANGRY. I am from Florida and the last two Presidential elections were stolen from us by the likes of the Bush/Cheney crooked political machine. Don't kid yourself, the DNC is every bit as crooked as the Republicans and they proved that by "chastising" us for not playing by the rules and than making up new rules as the meeting progressed. A snake is a snake is a snake. The democrats want one thing only, to get their agenda at work in Washington. They aren't faithful to change of any kind or they will be out. I am glad to see that someone has the guts to stand up to their own party. That is very refreshing. Nothing will change...it makes no difference who is elected. They don't care about us, they care about getting re-elected!!!
