Look people grow-up. We all get one vote. If you dont want to vote for him just dont vote for him. But in the mean time get over yourselves, and stop trying to change the minds of the other 18+ million that voted for him. We have a right to be represented too. Not that that has happen in the past 7 years.

Representative is doing what best represents his district. The man is smart and knows how a democracy works. Remember, Tocqueville's Tyranny of the Majority. Also. anybody who rips on Oklahoma being a racist state should look around. There are racists area everywhere in the United States.

Dan Boren, shame on you! I suppose if your constituents favored slavery you would have to vote for slavery! A representative owes constituents more than a rubber stamp of public opinion. He owes his best judgment, based on facts his voters might not have, in casting votes and making decisions. Do you lust to stay in office so much that you would sell your soul? I am sorry you beat Kaylen Free for Congress. You might not be so lucky next time.

Why are you people blaming the Clinton's? Don't you realize how wacko you sound? Tell me what Clinton has to do with Boren not support ing Obama? You Obama supporters are mean and hateful. The more you spew your hatred, you less a Clinton supporter is likely to vote for Obama.

Think about it.

This is why the Democratic Congress is held in such low esteem. This guy does not have the courage of his convictions. If his people are so conservative and opposed to Obama, he should become a Republican. Good riddance.

Smart man! I agree! I can't endorse Obama either. As a centrist and moderate Democrat, I find Obama to be so far into the radical Far Left lunatic fringe that he is about to topple right over the edge and out of reality.

I supported Hillary....she was more toward the center.

Now I support McCain.....a centrist and a moderate with, I might add, a LONG and distinguished track record.

As for party unity.....never. Obama is too far left, and most folks in both parties are like me.....moderates and centrists. We don't like the far extremes.....like Obama and George Bush.

Ted Strickland from Ohio has turned down the VP spot. Why is this on Fox but not CNN.

Looks like the moderate Democrat leaders don't like the Radical left wingers in the party for nominating the most liberal senator.
Hillary, or McCain '08.

Your vote is to fight poverty, bad governance that has let to poor economy, if you think by voting Republican you are hurting Obama family, you are dead wrong. You are only hurting yourselves and will have no one to blame. Guess what the media will make a lot of fun analyzing why you will be wallowing in the miasma of poverty in America and more of the young men will be drafted to go to war.

Hillary don’t have to worry about this debt, she has her riches, her husbands and those Democratic Senators strong supporters, her committed superdelegates and her 18 + million supporters to pay this tab (excluding the republicans who voted for her the last few times, but will vote for McCain in November, of course those are included in 18+ millions). I voted for Obama, but If Clinton would have won, I would have voted for her without the drama that has been displayed toward Obama by his fellow Senator Democrats.

If Hillary would have won the nominee, the entire Senator party would have united and rallied around her like she was a God. Do you honestly think Clinton would have had to watch and hear those pathetic excuses from her fellow comrades, that Obama had to hear? Hang in their Obama, God knows that prejudice comes in all shapes and sizes.

Obama you are to nice to those who think they are better then you.

If it's up to the majority of us.....God Bless You President Obama.......

WOW!
He won't endorse Obama because of his constituents, but he will vote for Obama at the convention, because of the serious issues that face the nation?

Sounds like he's trying to play both sides of the fence.

"But the Oklahoma Democrat said he would vote for Obama at the party's convention in August because of the serious issues the country faces."

So, the Congressman won't endorse him yet he is going to vote for him at the Convention. There it is straight from the article. How about that for taking a stand on an important issue . It is a good thing this guy's Dad was a big deal because he sure isn't. Be a man and take a stand. Instead, you have it both ways which is just typical for Washington. I thought this was for the people of Oklahoma. Sounds like more BS from DC. Stay home and skip the Convention if you feel so strongly. Remember your constituents !!

For all those Clinton supporters: She announced on Saturday that she's throwing her full weight behind Obama. Will you not follow? If she, your preferred candidate, finally acknowledges that Obama is the nominee and that she's behind him, behind the Democratic party, will you not do the same?

And if not, why not? Are you saying that what Hillary acknowledged in her speech is not true? That she wasn't sincere? That she lied?

There's a saying in the military - Salute the rank, not the man. In this case, all the democratic nominees were fighting for the beliefs of the Democratic party. Each would have represented the ideals and beliefs of the Democratic party. Each would work with the former candidates to ensure that all ideas are taking into consideration.

Obama is doing this now. He's meeting and taking into consideration not only former nominee's ideas, but party leaders as well. To think that this process operates in a vacuum is quite misguided. This may have happened under the Bush regime, but neither Obama nor any other Democrat can afford to operate that way.

If any of you are truly going to vote McCain because Clinton lost, then does that mean you're for overturning Roe v. Wade? Does that mean you're for contributing to our present economic situation by paying trillions for a questionable war at the expense of our own domestic necessities?

Don't you realize that the difference between Clinton and Obama's plans are minimal and more alike than compared to the differences between Clinton and McCain?

It's funny, and by funny I mean sad, that how, after all our unity these past 7.5 years, the Clinton supporters are adopting a well known infamous mantra - 'If you're not with us, you're against us."

You could have kept this to yourself. If you are going to vote for him at the convention, that is the same as endorsing him, because your vote is an endorsement. It must be really scary and Republican where you are from in OK...

The man can endorse or not endorse whomever he wishes. When he goes into the booth and pulls the curtain he can vote for whomever he wishes. Why do you Obamies always have to drag out the race card? Maybe he just doesn't like your guy. There are many millions of voters who also just don't like your guy. Get over it.

Who cares! Let him disagree....it's a free country. We're not looking for a unanimously unified party. As long as the greater majority of democrats back him (which they have) then we'll have Obama as the next president. (And if we don't, we'll know who to blame)

Hannah - It is not about Republican versus Democrat. It is about having the experience to lead the country.

We have a choice between a leader and a plastic blob.

As a former Hillary supporter, I am hiring the right man for the job....McCain!

So much for bringing the party together. Thanks Boren. When we get stuck with another four years of the failed views and policies of George Bush, we know who to thank. Did the people of your district know they were electing a republican?

Well . . . that will change life as we know it. If he is so conservative, maybe he can wait for another Bush to run for office, or better yet, maybe he will get ousted in the next general election and he can just go home and lament over the lapse of conservative values in America. Because, after all, those "conservative" values are largely responsible for the state of political and economic failure we are experiencing presently. What a moron!

Wow, Democrats are some of the nastiest people in the world. So the man doesn't agree with Obama, that's his perogative. Instead, he's labeled a "racist", "Republican", and "moron". I'm convinced that Obama supporters couldn't have an intelligent conversation with a drink coaster. Obamabots are the living example of robots. You support a candidate, you don't know why, and you savagely attack those who would dare to question his record or policies.

Wow the Obamabots are out in force...they are so nasty, no wonder the 18 million disenfranchised voters from the Democrat Party are flocking to the other guy. There has been so much hatred, sexism and misogyny from this camp I don't want Obama in office for the level of hatred discourse he brings to the table.

Please Republicans, stop posing as Democrats with your "Hillary or McCain nonsense" and get off the boards.

If your candidate is so wonderful, why do you need to masquerade as Democrats?

Maybe you think that's the only way McCain can win? Or maybe its just easier than trying to explain why:

1. McCain has flip-flopped on every position he ever held (google "the real McCain" or "McCain's YouTube Problem"--its great)

2) McCain had people on his campaign staff who supported Hezbollah (financially and in other ways), who lobbied for the military Junta in Myanmar, and who lobbied for the Saudis--yeah, his first interest is our security

3) If McCain is such a standup guy, he left his first wife (who was disabled) for a much richer, much younger woman (Cindy)

4) If McCain is such a great choice for women, why he called Cindy a name I can't even post here in public

Forget it. We're on to you and your candidate.
