C'mon, after all the barking from Limbaugh to switch sides, the media swearing off Hillary's votes to anyone but Obama, didn't anyone else figure that 8 years of Republican rule would be enough to unite the Democrats behind their candidate regardless of who it turned out to be.

The writing's been on the wall on this for a long time. Ask anyone out there if they are better of now after Dub-ya's reign of stupidity and you'll see the fuel that will light a million votes against ANY republican presidential candidate. John McCain may have the worst timing in election history right now and is standing in front of a freight train with no brakes and a desire for a change of policies. The continuation of those now being spewed out of the White House is gonna grate a lot more than the Dems this fall.

Many of you who CLAIM to be Hillary supporters who would support McCain over Obama, even after Hillary's very gracious and wise speech the other night, are either very stupid, or else you're just Republicans who are trying to stir up trouble for our side.

Anyone who looks at McCain's abysmal record on women's issues (including a zero rating from Planned Parenthood and voting against pay equality, funding for outreach programs to prevent teen pregnancies, and stated his desire to overturn Roe v Wade as recently as 2007) cannot say they're voting for him because they're fighting sexism. It's a bald-faced lie. Don't kid us and don't kid yourself-you don't care about Hillary or the issues she believes in, or you'd vote for Obama-winner of the primaries and next President of the United States.

A vote for McBush means my sons going to war b/c they will need someone to pay for college since I won't be able to afford it!

You also need to take a look that both these primaries were moved up wih the blessing of the Republican governors who are in office. Any yet still we are still fighting amongst ourselves. Get straight and re-direct all that anger towards the Republicans who help create that mess.

Get it straight and vote your conscience. If you believe what the Republicans are selling; then vote for them, but if you don't ,vote for Obama.

You should have a basis of morals that ideally represent you. It's more understandable to not vote, but to basically vote opposite of what you were supporting is irresponsible. You should vote for a candidate because you support his or her ideals, but not because of aggression or defiance. How could you support Clinton, then change allegiance to McCain?

Obama won the nomination. He won the most votes, states, and delegates (when you consider caucus states and give Obama at least 3/4 of Michigan's 'undecided'). Clinton ran a competitive campaign, but in the end Clinton's and Obama's policies are very similar and Obama is clearly ideal to McCain.

After this all takes place, will you have the guts to proudly announce you voted for McCain because Senator Clinton wasn't the democratic nominee/VP or will you silently sit and realize that your immature views caused more problems our children will inherit? What really scares me is that the proper thing may be derailed by illiterates who seem unable to spell the simplest of words or form a basic sentence, as many who posted their drivel here. It's about who a president surrounds her or himself with and so far Obama has done a very good job. Going from being an unknown to the Democratic Presidential candidate is quite a feat, especially as an African-American.

I would like JUST ONE person who claims they are voting for McCain (or not voting at all) instead of Obama (Clinton backers) to give me a coherent, policy-oriented answer as to why they would choose getting about 0-5% of their chosen candidates's agenda accomplished, as opposed to 90-95% (with minor differences in health care, which given a choice between HRC's plan and none at all, I think Barack would be happy to approve if you paid attention to the man).

I have yet to see one.

This means no answers like "he's a loser, an empty suit, he has no experience, he lies, etc etc" that we have already seen. WHY did you vote for Hillary (if it was just because she was a woman, that's really no better than someone voting for Barack b/c he's Black, which MORE people seem to have a problem with for some odd reason).

If it was because she's white, or she's better known, at least be HONEST. By the way, as a Black man, I say....It's OK to be a closet racist, just be true to feelings instead of making up excuses lol.
