Not sure what everyone's beef is here. The Clinton supporters have been asked, plead with, to put away their personal distaste, distrust and disdain for the inexperienced, racist, liberal Obama. Because we are loyal Dempcrats, who understand the importance of electing a Democrat to the White House, we are willing to force ourselves to vote for the man. But, that isn't enough? Do we all also have to walk around with that blank adoring stare that the Obominations have? I DO NOT ENDORSE Barack Obama. I probably will follow my party, like the sheep I am, and vote for him.

Let's face it. Many American born Caucasians in this country are and always will have some prejudice against any one "not" white to rule them, PERIOD!!! Let alone someone who is part 'Colored' or " Black ' or African American" or 'Negro'. In their mental mind set, it is totally unacceptable and not a part of their make up and they refuse to change for anybody or any party!!!!. As one of their ladies said she will never accept Obama no matter what!!. They have inherited the curse of their forefathers and it runs deeply within their souls, as long as any of the older generations are still alive. And some of them may have poisoned even this generation of their children to that white supremacist mentality. This is very sad but true and these people are not believers of any of " faith" except " White Power". This is a multicultural nation but not when it comes to the Presidency. They would rather have a revoution and fight each other then live in peace under a "mulato colored person". Scared of a negro getting too much power?

His son has BACKBONE. He is doing what HE thinks is right instead of being a sheep like the rest are. Like a pack of lemmings they will all run off the side of the cliff.

Voice of Reason: Because there is a difference between an endorsement. An endorsement is tacit approval of the candidate and agreeing they should be the President. Holding his nose and voting for Obama is not the same thing at all. Clearly you can't see the "subtle" difference.

"Why would anyone support an inexperience, unqualified, selected candidate of the dnc who cannot even show respect to the flag, who gave the bird to his opponent, who is going to raise our taxes thru the roof, who thinks 18 mil Americans are bitter, Bible thumping, gun totin', uneducated idiots, WHY would anyone support him?"

The problem with Obama is not that he lacks experience, His perfomance is vague and vacuous as respects the experience he has. Do you know anything impressive that he did as a lawyer, a teacher, a community organizer? Are you aware of his high level of absentee ism in the US Senate - even in his first year? Didn't he write his second book as a US Senator. His career has been a series of temporary and part time jobs. He has excelled in promoting himself, selling books, and running for higher office. I think I read that Clare McCaskill is interested in the vice presidency. Hasn't this freshman Senator spent her first two years traveling as part of Obama's team? I have voted Demoractic in every Presidential election that I have ever voted for, but I can not respect Obama and at least this on high profile member of his team. I think Obama takes more than he givesHe is a great speaker, but I am disturbed at how little committment he has shown in every job he ever had. Why would I expect him to behave differently in the next job he lands. In that respect, I would expect him to be too much like George Bush. Lackluster in his career and basically disintersted as President.

A vote for Barack Obama is a vote for Hillary Clinton because they support the same cause. A vote for John McCain is a vote for a George Bush third terms more wars, bad economy and more country will not want to deal with our country. If you were really a true Hillary supporter who wants a better America for this generation and future generation, you must vote democratic this November. Please do yourself a good favor and vote for the democratic nominee this comming November. No hard feeling because Hillary has none against Barack. We must put the republican out of the white house. As you can see, we are in a recession and that will get worse with a third term with the republican.
Keating 5, John McCain took money from keating for political favor.

Yes let's hope he does come around. i wished he hadn't made the statement the other day, it seems somewhat suspicious almost as if he was not wanting to come to terms with the fact that he has to take a stance sometimes even if it costs him a few votes, he needs to set the example for his people and that takes courage.

Why is everyone whining about the way Obama got the nomination. If Hillary had got it, it would be the same thing in reverse. Let's just come to our senses. And to those who endorsed McCain, just have the courage to admit you wanted to vote for him all along because that decision makes no sense. It's these kinds of decisions out of childish feelings that have cost our country so much over the years.

The government has disconnected itself from the people. A head grew out of its own head telling other parts of the body “you are not important” disrespecting the fact that those other parts of the body enhances the brain.

People are puzzled, and meanwhile the American votes have been stripped off and the delegates have been stripped off and the nomination has been stripped off and the Democratic Party has been stripped and the media has been stripped off, and the American people have been asked to shut up. And we are still hearing more crazy stuff...

People in the political world have played so many sides and now they are in the one big tangled web.

A lot if hate coming out in this election. I thank this country is showing it's true color. I wonder what the bad people in the Middle East think of all this. Vote, Endorse, Support who you want ,but remember this war, Your's and mines, son's and daughter's, will be fighting. WE together at the gas pumps paying 10.00 a gallon. WE alone with high food prices, under insured health policies, and big business running your country. Vote wisely our lives depend on it.

Indiana Bob, and all of you "hillary lost so I'm voting for McCain"

Are you adults or a snot-nosed high schoolers? You say that you are voting for McCain and you make that statement as a lucid person or are you heavily medicated one? Your candidate lost. Now grow the phuck up and let's get this country moving ahead. You will not make that contribution in that regard by supporting McCain and if stop pouting you'd see that. I have a five year old that won't have SS, will have to pay $250K to go to college, and will have to live in a world where we'll be the world's much hated USA if we don't get things back on track after the Bush disaster. Stop whining! Grow up and think...THINK!!!

Nothing puzzling about it. He loves the DNC NOT Obama. He supports his party NOT Obama. He is not alone in his feelings.
I don't like the Obama and the DNC trying to scare women into voting democrat just based on Roe V Wade. That is just wrong. Playing on someones fears to get votes. What is new about that? How does that stand for change???

Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton have almost identical positions on all the major issues. McCain is the exact opposite. I hope those Democrates who supported Hillary Clinton will show that support by doing as she asked, elect Obama so that the Democratic platform
can become reality. Please don't fall for the lies about Obama who is a Christian, who took his oath of office on the Bible. Not voting means
more years of Republican misgovernment.

Wow, since when has it become "puzzling to do the job that you were elected for. He was elected by the will of the people in the district and he is heeding to the wishes of the people. It has little to do with political motivation but rather doing his job description.

Politicians are not elected to advance their own personal beliefs, but the beliefs that their constituents express. If they want to advance their own, personal opinions they should become a wealthy businessman.

The Democrats are finally seeing who they really elected in 2006. Yes, they elected many new Democrats that unseated powerful GOPers, but they only succeeded because the Democrat that was elected was so conservative it was hard for the Goper to be seen as different(hence Rick Santorum and Bob Casey(both are prolife and agree on other issues, yet one is a Democrat and one is Republican)). The socalled victory in 2006, really only served to place right-leaning Democrats.

There are many of the 18 million Clinton supporters who feel exactly this way. They will vote for him but they really don't like their candidate.

The son is smarter than the dad, that's all. He knows that Obama does not deserve to be the presumptive nominee. He knows that Obama has too many problems that the Republicans are going to take advantage of to eliminate him in November. He knows that Obama's presumptive nomination was forced and crookedly acquired. He knows that Obama cannot win against McCain. He knows that Obama was forced down the throats of Democrats by the big wigs like Kennedy, Kerry, Reid, Pelosi, Deen etc. He knows that Obama was illegally given 5 delegates that should have belonged to Hillary. He knows that Obama was given delegates when he was not even a contestant in Michigan...THE SON IS THE TRUE DEMOCRAT, NOT AN AUTOCRAT

He's no fool. I decided to become a PUMA (blog.pumapac.org) because I want a decent Democratic Candidate to vote for in the Presidential Election. I cannot vote for Barack Obama because of his behaviors towards American Voters.

Much of the initial momentum of his campaign came from black voters. However, when he needed the white male support to discount the Florida and Michigan votes and get the Superdelagates commitment, he turned his back on his minister of 20 years (who helped put him in office). Instead of using that situation to promote respect for diversity and inclusion, he threw Reverend Wright under the bus. That is not a good leader for this country.

His betrayal of Reverend Wright got him the support he needed to promote sexism to undermine a more qualified candidate. Then he gained final margins with a “party unity” pitch.

Superdelegate Gender Distribution

Obama -- Male 327, Female 156
Clinton -- Male 132, Female 125
Undecided -- Male 55, Female 26

He obtained his nomination through deceit, manipulation and the exploitation of bigotry. I believe he is a flaming hypocrite and his clean politics campaign is totally bogus.

Who has been fooled again?

Everyone has one vote. Let's just see how this all plays out. All this sour grapes over Obama winning fair and square is silly. He was beat up in the press just as bad if not worse than Hillary..It's part of the process of running for office and all candidates are aware of this. If you are a Dem and don't want to vote Obama, fine. Hillary would be disappointed but she will get over it. Just spend your time working for Sen McCain and donate money to him rather than crying on a blog about it. I do suspect that many supposed Hillary supporters crying on this blog are the hold overs to Rush's operation chaos.. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

I supported Hillary for far longer then I should have. Her behaivior towards the end of this primary season was atrocious. I heard she was trying to use any legal manuevering she could think up to steal this nomination.

I was afraid that Obama was to inexperienced, to green, that he was all fluff and cotton candy as you say. But I've heard he's getting the cream of the crop economists and his ideas about how to get out of Iraq seem about right from what I've read in New Republic magazine.

One thing I've found out about presidents is doesn't so much matter who they are but who they surround themselves with. FDR was like that. Many of them are "great pretenders," including the best. I think he could do a good job and it's about time to make history.

Actually, that was one of the reasons I supported Hillary for so long.

Anyway, about the "bitter" comments, I think you guys are taking him out of context.

And as one of the 18 million million people that voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton I could care less about the "bitter" comments.

And about gay's not following "god's law" and going to hell for being who they are. I could never worship or believe in a god that would say or do such a thing.

I don't blame him. Hillary Clinton had over 18 million people vote for her nd yet she still does not win the nomintion. I urge all Clinton supporters to vote John McCain in November and Hillary Clinton in 2012. It not about party or polices so much as it is about who is best to lead this country. President Bush, like him or not, is a great President. He stick to his covictions and principles, whether they be right, wrong, popular, or unpopular. He does what he think is right and that is what makes a great leader.

God does not really care who you love, thats just your religion interpreting things the way it wants to. And I am not voting for Obama either.
I don't understand why these people think he was selected. He ran a good campaign and he won it by doing all the right things. Most of his ideas and Hillary's on how to run this country were close. She even said so herself. There were just a few things that were different. Hillary wasn't anti gay so don't even use that excuse. If you don't want to vote for him don't use the excuses I see above because it is quite clear why you don't want to vote for him and it has nothing to do with his policies.

People who say that Barack Obama doesn't have any experience are minimizing the truth, and quaintly forgetting the freshness of John F. Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy, who were in the same position and whom the world so adored and were ready to exalt.

I think it is safe to say that too many people are just not ready for a black president and the real problem is that they're just too dishonest to admit it, and the will unfortunately fabricate straw men for themselves to fixate and obsess on regarding the "why I won't vote for him" nonsense.

Shame.

As for me, I agree with everything Obama believes in. Just think, I'll vote for the first black President in the U.S., and a brilliant man at that, one that is circumspect in making wise, well thought out decisions, one that does not rattle off at the mouth as some of our current polititcians who in most instances are known for making senseless, unadvised comments.

Why does everyone have to endorse Obama. Nearly half of Democrats did not support him. And for many good reasons. Its okay to not endorse or even like Obama. It does not make you a racist or heathen. What more, it is the legions of people voting for what many call a novelty that has me more worried. I will take the more experienced candidate, not Obama. Write in Hillary on your November Ballot!

Calidude you need to understand that using the bible to reinforce your predjudice is the same as the racism using bible to justify slavery.
I think that Mr Boren is toning things down as some of the smear tactics out there are getting amazingly out of hand.
I know you guys believe in free speech but seriously this smear stuff demeans your country. One of the things that hopefully will change with a Democrat White House and Legislature. Republican Nightmare. Hence the smear factor and people pretending to be what they are not/ As well as comments made as rumours of things that are not even true.
Vote on the policies. Also again for those republicans pretending to be Hillary supporters every time you say Obama not got experience you reveal your true colours.
Mr Boren will come to understand that his son is acting in a different political environment than that of his day.
It is post Karl Rove

I would expct to learn in the near future that the elder Boren has disowned his natural born son and replaced him with his beloved negro-caucasian. It's what people like him do.
There was a time when I had great respect for the University of Oklahoma, since they made Boren preaident I spend a lot of time and energy telling my great grandson why he should choose some other instution for hus education, OU is now just another citadel of liberalism. I would not put it past Boren to offer a job to baraks friend, Bill Ayers the terrorist.

The stupidity of the son should never be laid at the feet of the father. Oft times the son has a mental defect or racist belief that shows up due to ill health, poor education models or the racist element which one surrounds one self with!! Hope any children are not so affected.
America needs a new direction NOT four more years of MCBUSH!!

What??? Yes you must step in line all the Obama bots have said so. They are even sicking their attack dog Roland Martin on you. Perish the thought you can think and make your own choices. Roland even called your daddy to make sure he punishes you for not following like a lemming to anything Obama says or does.

What's wrong with you? Why are you not blindly following inline with Obama and his group of under educated cronies? Sure the guy has not done a thing but not be Hillary Clinton.

Do what they say or a bunch of Obama tools will make fun of you on forums you will never read.

Democrats, we don't have to back Obama just because the DNC tells us to. Obama is the most inexperienced president to run in my lifetime, and that's saying something when one of those presidents is W. It's time for Hillicrats to be listen to their heads instead of being led by the nose. Another PUMA Democrat against Obama!

I say the son is right to not support Obama. Every child should take a grown decision some times, not let themself be defined solely by their parents. It's bold, it's honest and people who followed this election closely, especially us reading the garbage the Obamabots spread on the internet have good reason to be careful about endorsing this Chicago politician/ thug.

Annie:

You should stop drinking the right-wing koolaid and start thinking for yourself for a change. These are the eame people that brought you Bush & Cheney. If you couldn't see through them then, at least now you have 7 years of corruption, lies and destruction to learn from. Just about everything you say in your post is an outright right-wing lie or distortion. Shame on you. God gave you a brain. Why not use it for once in your life?!

Annie barfed up the following koolaid:
Why would anyone support an inexperience, unqualified, selected candidate of the dnc who cannot even show respect to the flag, who gave the bird to his opponent, who is going to raise our taxes thru the roof, who thinks 18 mil Americans are bitter, Bible thumping, gun totin', uneducated idiots, WHY would anyone support him?
