First off, I want to show my support to a Man that demonstrated what responsible media should be. He brought our voices to the table, and he was the kind of man who proved that asking questions was, has and will continue being a natural, noble, and undefeated cause.

Obama is inexperienced talks alot of eloquent fluff, while he may speak of higher taxes on the wealthy, it wont happen, he's saying what the people who made him a frount man tell him to say..he's fall up under the authority of the money masters and march to the beat of their drum if elected.
There's no way he isnt going to do the same exact thing John McCain
is proposing he'll do. The only difference is John Mcshame is telling the truth & Obama is so green he has the audacity of hoping to actually having a say in anything. If these 2 all Americans can cream up ..the dream's a nightmare. I havent seen one Obama sign in my state and no Mcshame's either but I did see the Paul signs, and driving home I even seen a headquarters that Said "Ron Paul"
The American sheep are dumb. Reminds me of that verse "They are as lambs lead to the slaughter."

To the Obama supporters, has Obama accepted a debate aganist Senator Mccain yet? I understand that he was scared to debate Hillary. I cannot believe he's scared to debate Mccain though. He's not going to be able to use that car salesman line that he's already debated 20 times. To be honest to become the President of this country it shouldn't matter if you had to debate 100 times you are suppose to be for the people, not out for yourself.

Where have these readers been hiding. All of these anti-Obama comments are so entirely out of whack, their originators must be spending their time out of country or getting their opinions from the likes of Limbaugh or the Inquirer. Wake up people and vote for Obama. Try overcoming your petty bigotry and do what's best for the USA.

I think it's interesting how people are blasting Obama for lack of experience. He has just about as much experience if not more than GWB had when he ran for president, and apparently that was enough because we elected him twice. And for those saying he is a hypocrite for supporting the tax holiday, and now being against it: check your facts. It's not like he has flip-flopped in this campaign just to pick up more votes. He supported it while in the Illinois state legislature and then realized it was pretty much a hoax. I'd rather have a president who learns from his mistakes and wises up instead of sticking with their mistakes and dragging everyone down. (i.e. GWB and McCain over the Iraq war)

Obama's plan sounds great--to invest $150 BILLION in more environmentally favorable alternatives. However, the key word in the report above is that Obama "wants." He can "want" all day long, but good luck on getting that done. Many Americans don't care about alternative fuels, and dismiss that as an important issue when electing their representatives. Our system is such that the President can't unilaterally implement a $150 Billion plan. He needs the support of Congress, and rightly so. The problem is that we are all complacent and don't insist on telling our congressmen what we want, and we don't back up our talk with votes. We put more energy into keeping up with the goings on of Paris Hilton and "Brangelina." We just can't wait to see the precious pictures of Brangelina's twins. How about putting some effort into our own children's futures--or for that matter, our own immediate situations?

Simply, rather than bash Obama or McCain on issues for which many of you are posting don't seem to have a clue and basing them on your own ignorance - please just go to their perspective websites and learn about the issues!
Learn about taxes, healthcare, economy, womens' rights, war, education, social security read who has the better plan regarding issues!

Brittany W LA @ 5:34
Brittany try actually reading the articles that you want to comment on! The DNC does not need the money! The city of Denver needs the money! You must be one of the uneducated voters. I don't mind that you can't follow the topic...the story is about energy proposal from Obama but at least be somewhat informed.

McCain need to make a difference and convince American people before the Democratic convention otherwise a prolonged fight could be detrimental.

This whole fraud nomination process should have stopped long ago but who knows we had to see it with our own eyes first. Look out for more fraud.

Did you hear that at a campaign rally recently Obama healed a crippled child, and made a blind woman see! Also, I heard that at a McCain rally 'McBush' actually ate the head off of a live chicken!

C'mon people - enough with the Messiah and Satan characteristics. If Obama's elected do you really think that the world is going to turn for the better overnight? The President isn't the emperor - that person still has to get their ideas approved by Congress. I am about to gag from both sides' lack of humility in this campaign.

Keep Doing Your Own Town Halls Without Mccain! Keep Punching Him From A Distance And Let Him Make His Own Mistakes At His Meetings! Then Punch Him Some More The Next Day!
For all of you who hate GW, you should take some time to at least acknowledge that if he did anything right during his eight years in office, it was to implement his tax plan. Since the implementation of the plan, overall tax revenues have been on the rise and capital expenditures have exceeded the expenditures. Most economists agree that without the plan, we would be in a much steeper economic decline. Every time taxes are cut (and they were cut accross the board - not just to the rich), revenues increase. If Obama were not so inexperienced and dead set against any ideas from the other side, he would extend the tax cuts and use the increased revenue to fund all the socialist programs he wants to implement.

I believe if we invest more in green energy, instead of basing the foundation of our energy sector on oil profits, then America can truly transition into a phase where we can once again, live in harmony with this beautiful country we live in. That is the American way, not tax breaks and environmental degradation from the elites.

Thus if Obama pours even a little bit of investment into this green energy sector, and ignite innovation that will free us from 20th century oil.

Christ bless you all.

Will you please, just this once post my comment??

I love how all the people that come on this blog and criticize Obama have NOTHING positive to say about McCain. Instead of touting why they are going to vote for him, they have to tear down Obama. Sounds like they have very little or I would contend NOTHING to work with in what is appealing about McCain's agenda.

Obama is a FRAUD!!! He can only deliver a well prepared speech from the teleprompter - he is NOT qualified to lead our country - he cannot debate or even answer a direct question without the campaign staging his events. He sure does CHANGE his answers in accordance with his audience - his message seems to change on a daily basis.

They should just have the elections tomorrow. Obama rhetoric is nothing but an insult to best and brightest people of America. Carly Fiorina is one them. She is an adviser to McCain and America is fortunate to have her input. I would like to see her as the Republican's Treasury Secretary in the McCain cabinet or better still Chairwoman of the Federal Reserve. Go Carly!

McFlipFlop does not have my vote, BUT it has become apparent that Obama has modified the "shame and blame" strategy of the Republican Revolution into a Praise and Blame. Hey you were a hero and fine public servant McFlipFlop BUT ---- you are confused who helped Bush get us into this mess. I like that strategy. It can work for national security, economy, health care, social security, education, and just about any political topic of the day, including energy and taxes.

Obama can never give a speech without attacking or smearing someone? At least when he goes on the offensive he talks about policy, whereas all republicans do is spin and slam Michelle for being unpatriotic.

What?--careful what you wish for. There will be town halls where they have to debate the issues. Obama has fresh ideas for our country, combining the best from Democratic and Republican policies (the right kind of experience), while McCain will be revealed as more of the same, who adopted many of Bush's misguided positions.

To all the Hillary supporters:
Indeed what the democrats are saying about McCain and his political policies are correct , however what else does he have to run on ?
Obama has more of the right stuff to argue about as Democrats, but I really do believe that McCain will change a lot of his views on things if we really back him plus it would be hard to do anything with a democratic congress.
The Supreme court Judges will have to stay active for four more years in which they could.
Things would not be as bad as people think with McCain. He is not my first choice but better then Obama this man has not a clue, he does everything half way before moving on to other things for political gain, look at his record. McCain will work both sides he has nothing to lose and he is a fair man. Think about it...lets put Hillary in 2012

Hey CNN, how about you post pictures from Obama's flickr account of him helping bag sand for the Midwest floods and then compare McCain's picture of him having cake with Bush on the day Katrina happend. I bet you wont on your ticker— a picture of a candidate actually working for the people in some jeans with a shovel.

I would like to see it though. If I can find it I know that you're people are resourceful enough to print the story….

Unlike other blogs, it DID get posted. People here are little more civilized. Yes Obama DOES have experience. Experience enough to know this country is on the wrong track. If you have been paying attention, really listening. he has outlined in DETAIL over the last several weeks some of his plans for the country. He has enough experience to know one thing----this country does need put on track again. NO MORE OF THE SAME PLEASE!!!!

Investing money over the next 10 years to create a green energy sector is good, but it won't do anything to reduce the price of gas today or tomorrow. What is Obama going to do to reduce the price of oil and gas NOW? Obama does not want to do anything about the high price of gas. At least McCain wants to put a few dollars back in the pockets of working Americans. Maybe McCain's idea doesn't amount to much, and it won't solve the problem, but it is still more than what Obama is offering. When Obama comes out and discusses his position on drilling for more oil in the US, nuclear power, and other things that can be done in the short term, then he'll be talking.

Love the fact that Obama is hands on helping people filling sand bags. McCain probably couldn't lift the shovel, so it's easier to just say some empty words.....

Could you guys picture Bush or McCain getting their hands dirty? I can't....

Obama was so good at raising money I thought from those little ( military industrial) people? So wWhy doesn't he use his famed fundraising little guy skills for the convention?

And is he afraid to debate McCain? too?

Hillary shouldn't help out the DNC after the way they screwed her but she could debate McCain to help out.
