@ HEY HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS

Give it a rest in 4 years no one will care that Obama lost the election in 08'. People will hate the fact that McCain/Replicans are in office they will greet Hillary with open arms.

The fact is we do not like Obama now or ever. I especially do not like is wife.

Al Gore your endorsement is too late! Who care what you think anyway, coward! Why did you not endorse anyone before. Did you forget 2 weeks after Bill Clinton had his heart surgery he went out to stump for you in 2000? How easily people forget what the Clintons did.

A comment to Hillary supporters who are calling Al Gore a loser. Have you forgotten that Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000 and that that election was stolen due to Florida "recount"? You all were screaming that Hillary won the popular vote, so you should be calling her loser as well:)
I just wish Al that you have supported Obama earlier. But better later that never.
Let's unite democrats and win in November!

He needs to go worry about the planet, he is way too late and endorsing the wrong person. When is Gore going to learn he turned his back on the CLINTONS in the 2000 election and that is why he got beat. Hillary please do not take the VP even if he offers because that toliet is about to flush and we all know what happens after that.

Al, your endorsement, credibility, popularity and immense appeal definitely add some measure of political muscle to Obama's candidacy. I must say though, that I always pegged you for a closet Barack supporter, but your political acumen disciplined you from an earlier endorsement. I admire your style.

Can someone tell me WHY this is news? How about trolling out all the other former Democratic politicians that are endorsing Obama...wow, that would be surprising! And big news! The same for Republicans.

WHEN CAN WE STOP CALLING EACH OTHER NAMES, START RESPECTING EACH OTHER (INCLUDING _BOTH_ CANDIDATES) AND START TALKING ABOUT THE REAL ISSUES?!?!?!?!

I don't care that Obama doesn't/didn't wear a lapel pin, and I don't care that McCain most likely veto beer. It doesn't matter to me that Obama picked up a shovel, and it doesn't bother me that McCain is keeping some money from some screwball.

What bothers me is that every minute/hour/day that we spend discussing these nonsense/trite issues is time spent AWAY from the substantive issues that ARE important, and that SHOULD be the basis for the voting decision made by each and every one of us.

ISSUES! LET'S TALK ABOUT THEM SOONER RATHER THAN LATER.

Before you read this, this might offend some people. Take that into account before reading it.

For anyone out there who doesn't consider age when voting for a president, I wish to make a point. "Age-ism" as its being called, is taking political correctness one step to far. Should age be a factor? To me, without a doubt. First, look at a picture of ANY former President at the beginning of his first term, and then look at a picture of when they leave office. Second, the life expectancy of ANY president is almost always shorter than that of the general population. We have had a good run with Regan living into his 90's, as well as Bush 1, Carter, Ford and Nixon living long lives. Including those names, only 1/3 live full healthy lives to life expectancy. 4 years ago, when Ford Carter Bush Clinton Regan and Bush 2 were alive, we had more living "Presidential Terms" than anytime in history (8 - 4 year terms). Truthfully this is by far the exception rather than the rule (the average being somewhere between 2 and 3). Yes, you could talk about medical achievements over the last 50 years, and pension reform took place for the president and their families around the turn of the 20th century, but I still go back to how the Presidency ages you: Go back 8 years and take a look at Bush 2 and you will hardly recognise the brown hair that he lost. Clinton was a ladies man when he took office, by the end he could hardly get a WH intern. Now I might be going a little overboard, but then again, if anyone wants further proof that age MIGHT actually matter, go back and study the election of William Henry Harrison. At the time he was the oldest man to take office. When he was running, many attacked his age, and yet he was still elected. He died a month after taking office and the country was left in political turmoil. At the very least, look long and hard at the VP, because that might be who you are really voting for. Anyone want to describe McSame as young and vigorous? I'm not saying don't vote for McCain because of his age, I'm saying that it is wholesale naivete to not consider age when voting for President.

Obama came up with the most votes in Iowa back in January. Did he win a great majority- NO. Will he win Iowa in Iowa - NO WAY. It is a republican state and with the republicans and independents plus the Clinton Supporters he will lose and lose badly here in our state. No Chicago politics here!!!!!!!!

I agree with "park more" and the others- forget Gore
The voter will decide contrary to all Obama's superdelgate support--and the voter will decide that Obama is not the person to lead--he will be defeated----we will wait for Hillary to come in and pick up the pieces in 2012----Hillary supporters WILL write the last chapter in this election----DNC listen up---you lose AGAIN.

I bet you voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004. Now we all see how your decision in the past has caused America today!!!

The only person on the planet saying an Obama election would be a second Carter term is John McBush.

Quite a clever guy that McBush. We need more of his razor sharp mind and quick wit.

Don't ya just wanna run out and vote Republican now? We still have a few dollars in the till, don't we?

To the mentally sick or just plain ignorent Bush supporters, your man child did NOT win the election in 2000. He was appointed by the supreme court and after the votes were counted Bush lost Florida. I know facts and figures scare you since they are what they are and you cannot manipulate them but Bush lost both the popular vote and the electoral vote once the votes the Supreme Court stopped them from counting were counted. What we have is a king not a president and it will forever tarnish this formerly great Country. Bush is a war criminal that deserves to hang till death with the rest of his cast of characters right on the mall in DC, Condi, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Powell, Ashcroft all swinging in the breeze of the Patomic. I only hope that there is enough time left to save this Country from the tragic idiocy that King George the Foolish has dragged us into. Anyone and everyone who supports this piece of crap should be deeply and forever ashamed. And to pretend to be Christians on top of it? You are sick and depraved and will never see Heaven except possibly in your rear view mirror on your trip straight to Hell! Call yourself whatever you want but your actions say an entiely different thing then anything remotely Christian!

Gore for VP!! Hey, Bush had to have Cheney to back him up because he had NO experience or knowledge about ANYTHING (and still doesn't). Gore is the perfect VP... he's fully knowledgeable on global warming and comes with 8 years experience!!

Besides... being a VP still lets you excercise tons of power. Thanks to Cheney, the VP position is now the 4th branch of the US Government.

How hurting is the Obama camp, in a year that for all political purposes is suppose to go to the Dems., that every few days they have to make news with an endorsement. And each time they try to up the ante, the polls remain basically the same.......it's over Dean & Co. And if the Dems. had any sense of dignity they would begin to clean house at the TOP.

Get the message Mr. Dean, country before party. You've made a tyrannical mockery of the primary process...we all know you shoved Obama across the finish line....listen to the popular vote: Hillary won.

After all this, my respect to Gore and gratitude for his work on behalf of our environment. We know he was strong armed to make this move.

You clinton supporters really think getting mccain elected in 2008 will make way for Hillary in 2012? First we don't know what a mccain adminstration would look like if he wins. So you hillary supporters are betting on a fail adminstration just to get her elected in 2012. So you would vote for a person who doesn't represent your values, put the country through 4 more fail yrs. Just to get hillary elected because you are sore losers. WOW great going!

Frequent flyer NYC - how in the name of Hades do you think NObama is a vote to end racism? Affirmative action will have a whole new meaning if he steals (yes media theft) the presidential nomination. I'm just glad I'm as old as I am. Electing such a cocky, elitist is sure doom! I must say that I was glad to see him "preach" yesterday to all the black fathers to take a proactive part in raising their children. Of course, most of the mothers don't have a clue who the baby daddy is.

I agree with the consensus here. It's all too convenient and easy to speak up now that HRC can't harm him in any way. Where were you in Florida when we all thought/hoped you would come out for Obama. You didn't stick your neck out then so why would we think that you would stick your neck out any further to help fight McShame!

McCain didn't cancel that fundraiser with that Texan:

"the visit was postponed because McCain “had a personal conflict” and 400-500 people had already bought tickets -- far too many for Williams, an oilman, and his wife Modesta to accommodate in their home."
so do to the fact that so many people were attending they have to find a bigger venue for the event not because of a comment (i hope mccains spokeperson learns a lesson from this i.e. get fired)

SORRY GORE, no he can't, no we won't, most of us white females or should I say "sweaties" have a mind of our own. Clinton in 2008!! and down with Dean and the Democratic party. It no longer speaks for the common voter. So sad they are having trouble raising money - they can stop asking me or others for any - we are refusing to give to this group of losers.
