Image from an online photo album and fundraising appeal Hillary Clinton's campaign sent supporters Monday. "Together, you and I changed America forever. We touched so many lives over the course of this campaign, and I can't thank you enough for the support you showed me. I met so many wonderful people out on the trail, and I wanted to share some of those memories with you," wrote Clinton.

"I hope you'll take a moment to view our online album with some favorite photos from the campaign.

"Thank you so much — I'll be in touch soon."

DNC, when the voice of the people is ignored this is the result. It is really very simple, the issue is precisely that the voice of the people was ignored. How can we the people trust the democratic leadership when they wholesale railroad the peoples’ choice? Hillary is that choice, but the DNC took it away and awarded it to Barack. Just what actual number of undecided votes went to Edwards and why were they arbitrarily given to Obama?

The people are asking exactly how will he deal with the very serious issues facing the nation. We don't know and since he has little to no experience, there is no gage to determine how he will act. We do need change but we don't need change for the worse. Hillary is proven and trusted; Barack is an unknown. I for one want a history of action in order to make an informed decision. For me it is Hillary. It does not matter who endorses Obama; I found him lacking and still do.
Give us a choice that is viable!

Nobama!

Hateful BHO people!   June 16th, 2008 6:23 pm ET

To: Jim from IL

Your comment is ONE of the many reasons why your candidate will NEVER GET MY VOTE! AND, when he loses look in the mirror and blame the person you see. You people are childish and disgusting. I can see why you support BHO–you are just like him. You jealous of her and intimidate because she's smarter than what's his name. And, don't threaten me with your not voting for HRC in 2012. I live in the moment and most of you young pups will probably be Republicans in 2012!

CNN, what is your problem? Print my comment. No wonder they call it the Tickler — you like to tick people off.

Hillary is the TRUE NOMINEE of the Democratic Party. I'd be voting for McCain in November if Hillary is not the nominee for the Democratic Party or if she's not running independent.

Obama feels entitled   June 16th, 2008 6:22 pm ET

For all of the Obama kool-aid drinkers who continue to bash Hillary Clinton. If it continues do not expect me to support Obama.

And if the Obama campaign honestly feels that they do not need Florida and Ohio in the fall like they mentioned today, they are just so arrogant that they do not deserve my vote. After all I am not a rich young black liberal. I guess I do not fit the mold of an Obama supporter.

RandSeattle   June 16th, 2008 6:22 pm ET

Jim from Illinois — submit? Just like a man to demand submission because he can't get it otherwise. I submit that the days when women submitted to men without wanting to are long past. I'll submit to writing in Hillary's name or voting for McCain or staying home, but not to that snake oil salesman who just won the Democratic nomination with the help of the equally crooked DNC and the illegitimate superdelegates.

Lee Chang   June 16th, 2008 6:21 pm ET

To all Obama supporters: Watch out. Hillary is already out of the race - yet your venoms keep spiling out - as a Hillary supporter - that hardened me - go again Hillary in 2012 - hope all Hillary supporters vote McCain - we can be mean too - but now you need us more than we need you. Ha ha…

Just went to the site and this appeal for donations is for Clinton and appears under her "Hillary For President" campaign banner.

Wonder how many of thoss so called 18 million disgruntled supporters will fork over some money to pay off the debt she accumulated after she blew millions before Super Tuesday.

Lolo   June 16th, 2008 6:19 pm ET

What is with all this divisive nonsense? What brats we all can be. If Obama didn't earn the nom, I would have happily backed HRC. HRC supporters who back McCain clearly do not vote on the issues, otherwise they would realize that McCain does not at all represent their views.

I realize that it is hard to end the fight, it was emotional and exciting, and at times divisive. And it was an historic achievement. What an exciting primary! Honestly, to have two amazing candidates - how lucky we are. Enough in-fighting and whining: come on board and let's take back the White House everyone!

I am sure DNC and his backer has plan to pull this one out without your support. Hillary 2012.

Jay   June 16th, 2008 6:14 pm ET

It says contribute. What are we contributing for? OH!!!!! Pay of her debt.
I do not understand Hillary supporters; they make all this noise about Hillary being the one and how much they love her, but will not support her financially. What kind of supporters are you? If you really care about her then donate. There is this talk about Hillary supporters not voting for Obama but is seems Obama care about Hillary more than her supporters as he’s willing to help pay of her debt. “A friend in need is a friend indeed”.

JOHfromATLforOBAMA   June 16th, 2008 6:13 pm ET

I THINK THAT WE SHOULD STOP SAYING UGLY THINGS ABOUT HILLARY. THIS IS A TIME TO UNITE…THE MORE PEOPLE CRITICIZE HER THE MORE HER SUPPORTERS WILL HAVE REASONS TO VOTE FOR MCCAIN.

THIS IS THE TIME TO UNITE AND SUPPORT OBAMA…IT WILL NOT HELP IF POEPLE CONTINUE WITH THE INSULTS.

Hillary fought a good race. As a woman, I'm proud of her accomplishments. However, she lost. Women can, and should be, good losers. Please step up to the plate, Hillary.

Anyone who would vote for McCain over Obama was never a true Democrat and never will be. We have to unite or our goals and ideals will go down the drain. Our country's future depends on our decision in November.

People were hounding asking where she was last week and she sent an email to her supporters geez whats wrong with that? I did like hillary asked I checked out obama's website and the next day I got an email talking about all the merchandise have available for me to buy I unsubscribed, I dont want emails every day asking me to merchandise.

hillary is evil   June 16th, 2008 6:09 pm ET

try this hillary
"this was a very very close campaign and I wish it had turned out diffrently but this primary was not stolen from me by the DNC or Senator Obama…it was just very very close and they won. If you vote for senator McCain..you are no supporter of mine"

All this NUTJOBS think you won and you are just encouraging them - I used to think she was a good choice for VP but now i see she is deluded and vain and weird!

John   June 16th, 2008 6:08 pm ET

Without Hillary there is no Obama. His only saving is those angry supporters who keep dissing Hillary and making us decide not to stay at home and instead vote for McCain. And we will do that. It is not Hillary who has to pursuade us to vote for Obama; it is Obama and he is still in the "sweetie" stage. Go McCain Go!!!

Chuks   June 16th, 2008 6:08 pm ET

For the life of me. Are Hillary supporters this gullible or are you guys/gals really wise knowing that republicans are stirring trouble posting like Obamanians; and you know this but just want an excuse to keep staking a claim to not voting for Obama. Who is fooling who?

This is getting OLD, at least give us Obamanians a break. And we are supposed to be the intelligent ones remember? So give us a break that we understand that you UNITE not by FIGHTING but by opening our hands to all of YOU because we are one FAMILY. I would have voted for Hillary if she had won it even holding my nose, but as a VP is just a BAD idea because you are daring to tempt her from being just a heart beat away from the POTUS for something she believes is rightly hers WIN OR LOSE.

No more false accusations from either side okay? This is the internet and you never know who is sitting back there typing all sorts of nonsense, even stealing peoples on-line Id so get a clue.

I hope your screachy voice stays off my TV set for a long time. And you Hill supportors who say you want McCain now, well you really are the lowlife that she was appealing to throughout her campaign, so it fits that you have no scruples either. Don't worry, Barrack is too smart to have her join his ticket.

I read through some of the what the Obama suports threats that if the voters who voted for Hillary Clinton did not join in and vote for Senator Obama that they will not vote for Hillary Clinton the next time. It will make no difference because Senator Obama will not win in November 2008 anyway. I hope the Obama voters enjoy defeat too.

Hey Clinton Supporters   June 16th, 2008 6:07 pm ET

Many of us Obama supporters have no problem voting for a lesbian. But one like Hillary Clinton who takes money from corporations and is for them will never get our vote in 2012 or 2016.

If HRC was for healthcare why didn't her husband do anything while in office? All HRC is talk-talk-talk at least Obama can walk the walk.

What's it like for a guy to support a woman under the PUMA banner?
That you call yourselves Democrats until your candidate loses, demonstrates why women are not yet taken seriously. Running independent is just like voting Independent: It supports a lost cause.

Hillary is gone and she ain't coming back. Buck up and grow a spine will you? Ugh! Just talking about you, I think I threw up in my mouth!
Are you all having little bitter PUMA Pity Parties? Crying and rubbing each others backs and consoling yourselves with "the better candidate lost" theory? Getting in touch with your feminine sides are you? Bunch of milk toast, pink pantywaistes! Sorry sore losers. If McCaine wins, kiss your Roe V. Wade goodbye and you can be happy that you helped plunge the country into further darkness by either your inaction( not voting) or failed action(not voting for Obama) or acts of commision(voting for McSame) When the bell tolls,it will toll for you fools as well! So celebrate your idiotic positions and kill the country for 4 more years. Bunch of whiners. You make me sick.

I APOLOGIZE FOR HAVING SKEPTICISM REGARDING HILLARY'S SUSPENSION RATHER THAN CONCESSION SPEECH. Dems you must undertstand there are some Republicans posting here as either Hilary or Obama's supporters and saying disgusting things to divide us.

If people will pause for a while and think about how the Repiblicans have misled this country and how John McCain is out of touch with his economic and foreign polices, I think the choice is clear.

When the dust is settled, Dems/Independents and some disenchanted Republicans will rally behind the candidate for change.

Jim from IL says Clinton supporters should "submit and unite" behind Sen Obama.

I should think rather that Sen Obama should work to earn my vote. I'm not giving it away just because he's going to be nominated. He hasn't earned my vote yet, although he still has a chance to.

Maybe I should just vote the Green Party ticket instead. Cynthia McKinney has more guts than Barack Obama.

Mike Florida   June 16th, 2008 5:56 pm ET

I've been a Obama supporter since the start of his campaign. At times however I was doubtful he would actually get the nomination of the democratic party. With that doubt came the feeling that our country would be in much better shape if either Barack or Hillery were to become president. To me the prospect of having another Bush like administration was unbearable. So for those who claim they will vote for McSame solely because Hillary didn't capture the nomination seams quite insane. For those who voted for Hillary because she was a woman I ask does John Mccain really speak for woman? I'm hearing too many self proclaimed democrats stating they will vote for McCain because there candidate lost. All I ask is it worth destroying the country just to make you feel better.

Linda K.   June 16th, 2008 5:56 pm ET

Joyce in Florida   June 16th, 2008 5:49 pm ET

For Chelle June 16 at 5:35pm. Obama supporters are offensive, mean-spirited and hateful. Obama himself has shown no respect for Hillary Clinton during their campaigning. I WILL NOT forget his body language, brush off the shoulder and pants leg thing, and anything else his camp has thrown at Senator Clinton. She is a well-respected and intelligent woman who has done more for our country than Senator Obama ever will. We don't need negativity in the White House. God knows we have had enough in the last 8 years to last our life time. Still a Hillary Clinton supporter now and forever. GO HILLARY 08!!!!!!

T.JONES   June 16th, 2008 5:49 pm ET

Hillary was, of course, the better choice for America, and for the Democratic party. She would probably win in a popular vote election. I hope she doesn't go away. Those of us who live in the real world, and are looking for someone to bring about real solutions to real problems, and not someone who is just promising some kind of fairy tale world where change just comes along because we want it so badly, still believe Hillary could make a difference. I hope she demands to be put on the ballot as a write-in candidate.

As a fundraising tool to pay off her campaign debts, I can see her sending out a mailer. However, she should go no further and stop fueling the fire that is dividing the party. She needs to start being very public about supporting and working for Obama. He is the nominee and she needs to get behind him. Otherwise, she has gone as far in politics as she is going to.

The party needs to unit now. Clinton did amazing but I don't understand why some of her supporters are now turning to McCain. If you believed in Hillary then now you've got to support Obama. Hillary is young, she's not going to disappear. But having another republican pres. will not help the causes she believes in.

Olivia   June 16th, 2008 5:43 pm ET

Hillary in 2012!

Your supporters are still with you. Some will go to Obama, some to McCain….but most are still here for you and always will be.
Gore will be endorsing Obama, but I feel that is only because he is the nominee now.

Continue to fight for us. I truly did not realize there is so much sexism under the surface, until now. My back is stiffer now.

Mark R. Fort Lauderdale FL   June 16th, 2008 5:43 pm ET

I really think it makes sense for them to be on the ticket together. That is the best way to unify the party. She will have to accept some conditions- no lobbyist contributions, for example. But alot of people are going to be angry if she's not on the ticket. Whatever hard feelings remain between them, they need to unite and do what's best for the party- and the country.

Hillary - I miss you on TV, the news, every where.

Don't go to far. 2012 is just around the corner and we will need you to take back the White House from McCain.

Sheri   June 16th, 2008 5:42 pm ET

Hillary: Girl, its OVER you. Do us all a favor and listen to us: MOVE ON

UNDER THE BUS!!   June 16th, 2008 5:41 pm ET

CATHY   June 16th, 2008 5:40 pm ET

JIM FROM ILYOU ARE AN A-.ITS THIS KIND OF ATTITUTE THAT I AND HILLARY'S SUPPORTERS WILL NEVER VOTE FOR obama

Thomas Happ   June 16th, 2008 5:40 pm ET

This story is ambiguous. Is this part of her Obama fundraising (as seen on her main page) or is it something else?

Seth in Jacksonville, FL   June 16th, 2008 5:40 pm ET

Please campaign aggressively for Obama - and do so because you WANT to, because we need him in the White House.

If he loses in 2008, you will lose to Al Gore in 2012. Keep that in mind.

Horace   June 16th, 2008 5:39 pm ET

Hillary's laying low because she really doesn't support Obama……..we hear you Hillary…..niether do we.

Becky, you're an idiot. Hillary you rock and yes I will contribute again, unlike the Obama campaign and the DNC that will never again receive a penny from me.

"And remember I just 'Suspended' my campain y'all"!!
RFK anyone!!!
Her 'glow' grows dimmer by the second!!!

Monte - Ex Democrat   June 16th, 2008 5:39 pm ET

I hope she has enjoyed the well earned rest and will understand why many of her supporters will not be supporting Obama.
No way can we let that inexperienced, know nothing, dumb as dirt, live in the White House. Will be voting or John McCain and wait for Hillary in 2012.

TonyNJHC   June 16th, 2008 5:39 pm ET

You will always be our champ!

Rick in Oregon   June 16th, 2008 5:39 pm ET

I am simply amazed that people can be so cruel and bitter. Some of these comments embarras me and make me consider being a Republican. Of course, I can't do that, but I will easily say that I am ashamed of some of my fellow democrats.

This was a historical campaign and we should all be proud of what the democratic party has accomplished this year. Somehow some of the people that are yelling for change and for a better way can only spew hatred and bitterness. Shame on you "Jim from Il" Kim from Portland, Lyn Norris and the most disgusting one, "ProundToBeADemocrat" (I kept your mispelling). Personally, I really don't want "democrats" like you in my party. Take your hate someplace else.

Sheri   June 16th, 2008 5:39 pm ET

Hillar:y Girl ,you need to just go away all together. We've had enough of you. Good luck in your endeavors!

OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT   June 16th, 2008 5:38 pm ET

Just Like That Creature In Greek Mythology. . . . You Cut Off Its Head . . . And Another One Grows Back!

Silence Dogood   June 16th, 2008 5:38 pm ET

Thanks for the bold campaign. You always took the high road and spoke your mind. This time around a strong, clear, leader, and woman was not what the DNC wanted. But you put the country closer to finally allowing a woman through! Stay strong inspite of what the misogynists say. You have made history.

Izabela, Ridgefield,CT   June 16th, 2008 5:37 pm ET

Thanks Hillary. What a waste for the country without you in the race.
I hope to see you again in 2012. I will support you all the way.

YOU ARE A SUPER WOMAN, EXTRAORDINARY PERSON.

I am not voting for anybody this year.

bob in L.A.   June 16th, 2008 5:37 pm ET

Hang in there Hillary- Obama is liable to show up at the wrong convention with all his "slips" recently!

Yes, Hillary Clinton, WE DO MISS YOU. Please stay fighting for us. I am still hoping that the Denver convention will be an exciting one. I haven't given up on you yet, Senator Clinton. I thought hearing from you today was good timing. Your photo album was terrific. Just reminded me of why I still support you even though you have suspended your campaign. I just hope we haven't seen the last of you yet. STILL WANTING HILLARY CLINTON AS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT. KEEP FIGHTING HILLARY ALL THE WAY TO DENVER IF YOU HAVE TO. GO HILLARY 08!!!!!!!!!!!

sarah   June 16th, 2008 5:35 pm ET

you obama zealots are revolting… you vilify this woman, you are hateful to her and her supporters, and yet you expect her to campaign for YOUR nominee. obama is an empty suit who should shut up and sit down. the only chance the dems had was clinton. way to go dems you just lost the white house AGAIN.

Chelle   June 16th, 2008 5:35 pm ET

"Jim from IL June 16th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

Hillary needs to go back into whatever hole she came from. This is now Obama's election not hers. All of the Hillary supporters need to realize that Obama is their new leader. They should submit and unite behind him."

YOu must be a McCainiac trying to stir up trouble. Obama is their new leader and submit? You've got to be kidding me. I sure hope people are not fooled by these kinds of posts.

As an Obama supporter, I find these kinds of posts offensive and unnecessary and their sole purpose is to make true Obama supporters look mean-spirited and foolish.

Hey Clinton Supporters   June 16th, 2008 5:35 pm ET

Memo to Clinton supporters who refuse to vote for Obama:

If you refuse to vote for Obama, we Obama supporters can do the same for Clinton if she ever decides to run in 2012 or 2016, there are 18 million of us also. If you deny Obama the oppurtunity to become president we will deny Clinton the oppurtunity.

Mike,ct   June 16th, 2008 5:35 pm ET

Hillary we love you.

I'm going to vote OBAMA

and then you 2016.

CATHY   June 16th, 2008 5:34 pm ET

Obama/Hagel

P, CA   June 16th, 2008 5:31 pm ET

To all you weirdos who keep it up with the "Would you stop making Obama your savior" crud. Listen, and see if you can understand this:

Obama isn't a Messiah or savior to us. He's a LEADER. As such, he deserves our veneration, just like any leader or role model. There is nothing wrong with this at all.

It isn't prostration or folded hands or a "message from g'd" for me. He's just a strong leader. He practices what he preaches, he doesn't yank all of McCain & Hillary's dirty laundry out for all to see, and he cares about his supporters. Because he does these things, he garners my respect and my awe, as most leaders should do. It doesn't make me a small person; it gives me a goal to achieve.

I'm sorry if that hurts you, but we're not a bunch of kool-aid c*rcle j*rks, we're a diverse, proud community, united to support our chosen leader.

If you can't handle that, then we'll just invite you to the party after it's already started without you. The doors aren't closed like your mind is…

aware   June 16th, 2008 5:31 pm ET

Yes, we changed America forever! It is probably the end of the Democrats and the two party system. :)

Go Independent or go with McCain Hillary. You are the best but you were canabalized by the extreme left-wing Democrats and media.

The extreme left-wing Obama is not change America can believe in!

He won't get my vote! :(

Romulus, Michigan   June 16th, 2008 5:30 pm ET

I don't think she going to keep her word and support Obama 100%.

GAE   June 16th, 2008 5:30 pm ET

Hillary, welcome back!! We miss you and love you. You are "simply the best, better than all the rest!!

YES SHE IS!!!

becky   June 16th, 2008 5:29 pm ET

I think her supporters should help her out of debt. They voted for her time and time again, helped push her on. I do not feel like Obama or his supporters should pay her debt, the debt that she built up trashing (in her own way) Obama. What goes around comes around.

ProundToBeADemocrat   June 16th, 2008 5:29 pm ET

She will be in touch soon for what she can stay where she is no body missed her and no body noticed. Hillary we like you where you are please do not appear again.

Adam FL   June 16th, 2008 5:29 pm ET

please come back Hillary!!!

Pel   June 16th, 2008 5:28 pm ET

Lady Hillary, you are still the The Lady of America. Please do not stop now. Continue to push forward for the causes most american need and want.

Also, I do see you as the VP or a Supreme Court Judge.

HILLARY, WHERE ARE YOU??   June 16th, 2008 5:28 pm ET

Hi Hillary, where are you "girl friend"?? We miss you and wish you well. Can't wait to hear from you soon. Love to you, Bill, Chelsea and your mom. Hope you are well rested..On my way to your web site now.

Go Obama   June 16th, 2008 5:27 pm ET

As a woman Hillary, when you do comeback, could you please go on air and scold McBush for taking that Oil man's money when he shouldn't have. Tell him how much of a hypocrite he's being.

And then tell him he has no snowball's chance to make it into the White House.

Go Dems! All the way to the White House.

molly, PA   June 16th, 2008 5:27 pm ET

Who cares-plzzzzzz.

Hillary Rocks   June 16th, 2008 5:27 pm ET

Hillary ran an amazing campaign, and this November she and Barack are going to walk all over the right-wing Republicans and John McBush!

Lyn Norris   June 16th, 2008 5:27 pm ET

Now we have Hillary talking about Hillary, Hillary eulogizing Hillary. How long must we hear her talking about herself? She promised she would be supporting Obama but this is more Hillary glorification.

Audrey Ross   June 16th, 2008 5:26 pm ET

Dear Hillary I was very proud of you and am going to support Barack Obama.

MD   June 16th, 2008 5:26 pm ET

Linda from Prescott   June 16th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

Looks like a fund raising effort to me.

MM   June 16th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

I hope she is in touch soon. I want to see her campaigning for Senator Obama like she said she would. I'd also like to see her involved in the health insurance platform in some way or form. If she stays away too long I think that she'll lose the chance to become involved in the next administration.

chilliej   June 16th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

Hillary, we miss you. Stay strong. It's not over.

obama4life   June 16th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

d   June 16th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

..ahhh..Hillary is off licking her wounds. She needs to get back into the public eye and support Obama, talk some sense into those numbskulls Dems who say Hillary or McCain, but never Obama.

NEVEROBAMA   June 16th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

YES WE LOVE YOU HILLARY!

YOU ARE TRULY A SUPER WOMAN!!!!

Mary (Texas)   June 16th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

Hillary in 2012!!!!! We will be waiting for you………………..

Kenneth M   June 16th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

Shes baaaack! And hungry for money. I hope Obama can bail her out in exchange for support.

Hillary Clinton   June 16th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

Please keep sending me money so I can pay off my debt. I know many of you have limited income and may have a hard time making ends meet, but even a donation of 5 or 10 dollars helps to keep me rich.

I know that many of you still don't realize that I'm actually out of the race, and that you'll keep sending me money as long as you think I still might be the nominee - so I've decided to 'suspend' my campaign to give you the false hope that my campaign isn't over. Keep sending that money!

Thank you so much — I'll be in touch soon.

Sparks Lawton   June 16th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

Hillary will be in touch soon. Campaigning shoulder to shoulder with McCain.

kim hussein taylor portland, oregon   June 16th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

she BETTER BE taking those contributions for obama and the democratic party! WE arent paying for your failed campaign, hillary!!!

Jim from IL   June 16th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

Hillary needs to go back into whatever hole she came from. This is now Obama's election not hers. All of the Hillary supporters need to realize that Obama is their new leader. They should submit and unite behind him.

Amy   June 16th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

Thanks Hillary.
