I figure all these so-called Clinton supporters who are bashing Obama are either right wing operatives or racist nut jobs........or both.

The Democratic(and republican for that matter) primary was not a beauty pageant or football game. The winner doesn't go home with a trophy and take 3 months off. There are real issues at stake here. A vote for McCain is a vote against Hillary and the issues she stands for. No matter who anyone is voting for, if they are not looking at the issues Obama/McCain back and instead are basing their selection on some bizarre reasoning like McCain is to old or Obama is to young, or worse yet, crazy internet rumors, then this country will continue to go straight down the tubes led by its citizens.

It is comforting to know that the Black Liberation Theology is not the mainstay of black churches. It certainly would have helped squash the whole issue if Obama had stood up and said so when it was being broadcast instead of excusing Wright's rant by telling me I didn't understand him...

Attention to all Democrate, this is very important observation from a powerful reliable sources, most republicans had adopted a policy from their strongest surrogates like Rush Limbaugh known as "MASK HIT MEN,I am going to expose how they really operate which has been working for them very effectively, there are two groups in every blg existed in the cable networks, one group acting as Clintons supporters talk as many negative as they can think of and they would always make sure they direct the real Clintons supporters to vote for mccain, the other groups act as Obama supporters who continue to bash Clintons supporters and even threaten that their votes were not wellcome, this tactics was design to make it almost impossible to unite the both supporters and finally delivered clintons voters to republican,it seems to be working quite well,I promise you by next week, their covers would be blown piece by piece. I DARE CNN moderators to post this comments, I have seen a great job their so called moderators were doing by unposting so many postive comments but rather choose bunch of ill, foul, divisive and negative comments to be posted, big shame on you moderators, what a stand up guy or whatever you called yourself.

There are so many Limbaugh republicans who pose as Hillary supporters to create an impression that they would not vote for Obama.
True Dems would not vote for a Republican this November because the Repubs have messed up this country.

Hello, it's me, Hillary. I would like to thank all the people who supported me throughout the campaign, but it's over now.

All you nutjobs still 'supporting' me by voting for McCain have lost your minds. You really need to get some professional help - I'm not the answer to all your problems - I'm just a politician.

Go out and form an identity of your own and try to solve your own problems for once.

Democrats have to get real here. Because of Kennedy's lack of experience and maturity, it caused him his life. What does Historians have to say? After all they predict a win for Obama. Republicans will prove them wrong if they air the 'gobal' ad thorought the campaign. I would stick to the message and hammer it home everyday. In addition to the ad I would have Carly repeat her 'small business' message as the backbone of the economy more to help the less educated make sense of HOW the economy works. And the other is definitely IRAQ. If the republicans can put this together in a nutshell, I think they wil do just fine. As for Hillary, Obama's praise in Michigan does not help at all. They differ when it comes to comittment to the issues of AIPAC.

don't believe for a minute that REAL Hillary supporters will vote for McCain or that REAL Obama supporters are insulting the Clintons. Most of those posts are GOP trolls trying to stir up trouble. They know their days are numbered as an incredibly weak candidate tries to succeed an incredibly bad president.

For the first time in my adult life "I AM SCARED FOR MY COUNTRY."

Why can't you Obama people leave Hillary alone, you got your Boy
as the nominee, so now you'll be getting more food stamps, welfare,
unemployment bebenefits, free health care, free housing and you'll
still be able to sit home on your butts , drive around in your new cars
and still buy your designer clothes while us tax payers foot the bill.

What more do you people want??? Leave Hillary alone, I hope she
stays on vacation until after the elections so she dosen't have to deal
with you crazy people, You Are All Saying Obama Dosen't Need Her,
SO LET HER BE.

CNN PLEASE PRINT THIS…

And from the sound of your post, you will still have your bed sheets. His platform almost identical to Sen Clinton's but with HIM thats what you'll get huh? ---from an EX-Air Force, employed since highschool ,hard working, black man

I truely hope that Senator Obama will come back to Ohio. Columbus is not the only city in our great state. I saw the excitement for Senator Obama during the Ohio Primary!! Suggestion: There are a lot of fraternities and sororities in the state who will work their "behinds" off for Senator Obama!! Have the Obama campaign check them out. A lot of people in Ohio believe that Obama CAN WIN HERE!! Contact the ALPHA'S AND THE KAPPA'S!!!

Keep the faith,

He is working on a foot hold to get in position to keep scaring the world that the "sky is Falling" like Henny Penny. He has made millions off this tactic and he doesen't cut back--flying, huge house (maybe he is going into the hotel business) Big gas guzzler cars. But he is rich and claims to be able to buy his way into being green. What a racket and to many people buy into him. I use to really lik him. No more just another phoney politician

I don't necessarily have a love/hate relationship with Gore but I do admire him as a person and what he is doing for global warming. But I saw his endorsement last night and could not believe what got into him. He was not the Gore I like and admire. Instead of endorsing Obama, he sounded like he was fighting Hulk Hogan in WWE title match. He was reading the speech that was written by an a complete idiot.

Wow. I'm a visitor to the United States. As someone from the outside looking in I would think that I was reading the comments of a bunch of adults acting like 2 year old children. Where I'm from we hear a lot about racisim in the United States. When I go back home I will be sure to tell my friends and family that racisim is alive and well in the United States. One blogger referred to Mr. Obama as a bolshevik. To call someone a russian communist or an extreme radical is a pretty serious accusation. I myself as well as many others outside the United States have have been watching this election unfold. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that Mr. Obama ran a fairly clean campaign and won, which is something that is not supposed to happen in American politics as I undestand it. Especially against an opponent as strong as Senator Clinton who was projected to be the winner long before this process started. I believe she was up by 20 pts in every state before the campaign started and she also has years of experience and her last name is Clinton. The Clinton name is popular throughout the world. So how could this african american man with the last name Obama possibly steal an election from such a powerful opponent? I'm pretty sure its not because he is a bolshevik. People keep saying that Senator Clinton has the experience to get America out of the mess it's in. How does she have the experience to get America out of its current mess when America has never been in such a mess. Does anybody really have the experience to get America out of its current situation being that it is so unique? Maybe this is why people not only in the US but around the world are turning towards Senator Obama's vision and message of hope and change. After all, hope and change is what he talks about in his book Audacity of Hope and he's never waivered from that.

Charlotte June 17th, 2008 10:36 am ET

I will write Hillary on my ballot in November, be it wasted or not. We have had more Republican Presidents then we have had democrats and Roe v Wade is still there? I'm not worried about that ever being overturned.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Was the court as divided as it is now and with the potential to replace 2 during this coming presidency? I think not. Keep sleeping on this very issue if you wish. I guarantee if two more Thomas' and Scalias are appointed you will wish you had made your vote count.

A great speech by Mr. Gore.

Bill, you are very disrespectful, you don't call a 46 year old man a boy. I'm sure you know that using boy when referring to an adult, African American implies. Let's hope that you are not one of those.

To Bill from Florida in reference to the racist comment you blogged"

"For the first time in my adult life "I AM SCARED FOR MY COUNTRY."

Why can't you Obama people leave Hillary alone, you got your Boy
as the nominee, so now you'll be getting more food stamps, welfare,
unemployment bebenefits, free health care, free housing and you'll
still be able to sit home on your butts , drive around in your new cars
and still buy your designer clothes while us tax payers foot the bill."

FYI - Whites like myself as well as Blacks came together to elect Obama....and for you to refer to hom as "Boy" shows how ignorant and uneducated you truly are.....Barack Obama is a threat to the perpetuated stereotypes you depicted in your blog and its a scary thing to know that you HRC supporters/hate bloggers are so insanely consumed by your own prejudices that you can't see anything else......especially the truth.

We all know the republicans will use every dirty trick in the book. They have done it before and this year especially could be a loser for them unless we don't pull together as a party. Obama and Clinton supporters...Stop the bashing!. It is not healthy for the party. Clinton may end up as VP. She is the 2nd most powerful Democrate right now.. And Obama and Clinton are friends. They were before all this began and are now. Sure, it has been a hard fought nomination, but lets pull victory out of the ashes and not defeat to the Republicans this time. Do we want to win this thing???? I thought only the losers were suppose to be poor losers. The winners shouldn'[t be poor winners. Let it go. Take a clue from Obama. Clinton deserves a lot of respect and can only help our party. Don't throw that away like narrow minded fools.

It is realy sad that Obama supporters are still bashing Clinton. I know we are suppose to get together and become one party but they are making that really impossible. Could thiss be on purpose? They don't even listen to Obama. I don't think they are even democrates. They probably only voted for Obama to mess with the democratic party. Another of Limbaghs tricks? They show their disrespect for Obama by not listening to him and continuing to bash Clinton and her supporters to drive them away?. They want us all to vote for McCain and probably always have.

PUMA people just do it and shut up. You are like the lost soul on the bridge faking like he is going to jump when all he wants is attention. So, go ahead and take the leap and vote McSame if it will make you happy. Clinton is still begging each of her 18million folks for $I.00 to get her out of the hole but they won't do it. She lost, so get out of here and go cry to her or help her because you are not doing anyone any good on here.
Obama will win this race without you and it will be better that way so that Hillary won't get the credit for her PUMA people crossing over.
Obama08 with or without YOU.

For the Democrats: Stop the infighting! Either you are or you are NOT a Democrat no matter to whom your heart belonged prior to this month. Now you support the candidate. No one who supported Hillary like myself should even be questioning supporting Senator Obama. He is, afterall is said and done, one of us, a proud member of the democratic party and one who's ideals are what we are searching for in a presidential candidate, thankfully!

Why Al Gore feels the need to pander to Obama is the real question. Vice President Gore used to have the respect of Millions. This endorsement will only diminish him in the eyes of many. I hope Gore is ready to take the heat when he is called on to explain why the Obama presidency is a failure and why the democratic congress acted as a rubber stamp to bad policy (much like the republican congress with bad Bush policy.) Obama is the G.W. bush of the Democratic Party, all arrogance and no substance. I have been a democrat for 30 years but will not support Obama in the fall.

Well, who else would he support? He would have supported Hillary and he was waiting around to see if she won the nomination. If Gore really supported BO, he would have said so long ago.

Pandering, pandering.... means nothing at all.

After the Bush/Cheney republican disasters, America will elect Obama. Gore was 100% correct---elections do matter.

For all you anti-Obama posters and Hillary supporters...This is exactly why Hillary stayed in the race. We all knew it was over and she did as well. Look at how angry she's made her supporters at Obama. We all know the media treats anybody how it wants to, don’t blame OBAMA. Come on people, a black man controlling the media?? Let's be real with ourselves. It was a competition and he won fair and square. Obama did not shame her name or her legacy. People criticized Obama for being too soft and not aggressive to Hillary's attacks (personal)…How can you honestly call this man Hitler? All the racist attacks have also come from whites, Blacks have always voted democratically (in major part) even when black candidates had lost in the nomination. There was never bad blood, Democrats won on the strength of black votes, just ask the Clintons. He is not JFK nor is he trying to be JFK. Obama and Hillary mirror ideas greatly, so how can Hillary supporters who wanted change just go for McCain? Is it bitterness or Obama’s race?

Grow up, people (please). This election is not about you and your hurt feelings. It is about making our country a better place for our children and grandchildren. Now take a deep breath and help Barack Obama win this election. Thank you.

PUMA Democrat?? There is no such thing. Either you are a Democrat or you are not. If you vote for McCain or support his candidacy, then you are not. It's as simple as that.
It's like that phrase we've been hearing for over 20 years now - Reagan Democrat. No such thing. If you voted for Reagan, then you are not a Democrat. Period.

I can't do it anymore! I can't keep selling my soul.
I admit it! I have been accepting money from the McCain campaign to repeatedly post derogatory and divisive messages about the Democractic party on this ticker. If you don't believe me, just look at my post history. Do you think anyone has the time to make hundreds of posts day-in, day-out if they weren't getting paid for it?
But I can't do it anymore. I respect my country and myself too much. I hope my fellow democrats will forgive and embrace me.
But beware…I have repented, but the GOP never will. They will continue to pay others to post as Brian Knoxville TN posing as PUMA democrat seperatists, trying their best to divide our party. Such underhanded tactics are all that they know, and they will continue to use them to full effect.
DEMS '08!

What a great speech.

I just think Gore rushed through it.

May be he should have been on the VP panel for Obama.

I just can't beleive what I am seeing. Let's not vote for Obama because he has no experience. Who did? Bush? He promised to be a CEO president and he bankrupted the company. As long as Obama brings in smart, sensible people with him (another place Bush failed),
he can do this. The man is incredibly smart and driven. So I don't see that McCain has an advantage over him.

Now, look at policy. That is where Obama DOES have an advantage over McCain. McCain has bent to the will of the conservative wing and has abandoned his previous "moderate" leanings. We don't need four more years of that.

And, hey Pumas, I would have preferred Hillary also. But it is gone. Let it go. If you vote McCain or stay home, you will tarnsish Hillary also. She will not win in 2012 and we will have 8 years of McCain (or probably half McCain and half of whoever his Vice President would be). Wake up, don't flush a chance to get rid of the Republicans.

I have never been impressed with Al Gore. This endorcement after the fact is as ridiculous as he is. Since he likes to depict himself as for the environment I guess he was just waiting to see which way the winds were going to blow.

to those who can't stand Obama, just because he has alot of fans, I can't see any legitamacy to your stance. PEOPLE LIKE HIM FOR A REASON!! Who cares about the "media Obama". The guy himself is a very intelligent man and good leader who will finally put in play a progressive agenda the American people have been wanting for years. All i'm saying is give him a chance to get to know him and his stance yourself before you let the hysteria rub you the wrong way.
