I volunteer in my community, I pay my taxes, I work hard and long hours, I'm concerned about a myriad of issues locally, nationally and globally.

Why is it the practice of SOME members, such as yourself, of the Democratic Party that you have to make an enemy out of anyone who isn't blindly following your way of thinking or that of your personal candidate? There are so very many decent, concerned, hardworking and voting Americans who are Republicans. We're not blind. We're not stupid. We love this nation, and we try hard to do the right thing. But you make villians out of us just for being of a different party?

Seems so. And if so, shame on you and those who think that way. Instead of saying something that builds and brings people closer together, there are too many such as you who can only spout anger and untruths.

It's easier to spout nonsense and venom than to work to build something West Coast.

I'm sure you'll all say I'm a republican posing as a disgruntled Hillary supporter – whatever you have to tell yourselves. You make that accussation all the time rather than addressing the issues. Yes, Clinton and Obama are similar on most issues to some extent – but Clinton was WAY more towards center, and way more interested in helping the country. Obama, believe me or not, comes across to me (to ME – I'm avoiding your stupid generalizations) as far more extreme than I personally am, and comes across as more interested in helping himself than in helping the common people – I can't get past the holier than thou people clinging to their guns because they're less educated than I am attitude. That is NOT the way to help the country. No, I'm not voting for McCain. I may end up voting for Obama, but will hate myself while doing it. He's not out to help me out.

Anyone who thinks Florida and Michigan are a toss up are crazy. And being from Missouri you should shade that burgundy right now because Obama does not stand a chance here. He will pull some votes in KC and St louis (McCaskill country) but the rest of the state is pure red. McCaskill is going to have to fight real hard just to hold on to her Senate seat as she has been a disaster since taking office. After jumping on the Obama bandwagon her numbers went even lower.

So whats a windfall profit tax going to do? Give more money to the feds in Washington to waste on more pork and make the prices even higher as the oil companies recoup their losses. The feds are running in the red now, and Obama wants billions more in spending! He wants to end the war and proposes to use that money to spend, why not just NOT SPEND IT but reduce the budget? Obama is like a kid with his hand in the candy jar and cant help but spend spend spend.

I'm for change too-But Higher Taxes is not any change-
It makes people less motivated to work and rely on gov't–
Obama is not speaking the truth when he says he's just going to tax the wealthy-
Anyone with a pension will have some tax whether it's capital gains or whatever–
He also staes that that we have the technology to get a car to get 100mpg - so he blows off the price of gas by saying " it just got to $4.00 per gallon too quick"-
What about all those folks in the upper midwest and Northeast who heat their houses with Oil-

uh oh, quinnipiac now has polls showing Obama leading FL, OH, and PA. Just like Huckabee pointed out... if the republicans keep trying to demonize Obama with (apparently) slanderous charges like being a "liberal" or "educated", they might as well throw in the towel now. Why would I vote for a party who singles out and rails on a candidates wife? Or is that believes a lapel pin says more about a man than what the man has always said? The frustrating part of this, is I still consider myself a "republican" at heart... but I'd rather take my chances with the democrats until this generation of republicans have kicked the bucket.

The only change coming for electoral map is from CNN. It's funny how NOBAMA or NONAME koolaid drinkers think their "Messiah" will change electoral map. There'll be no changes for electoral map, this election will bring states like Pennsylvania, Virgnia, Ohio back to Republican side. What CNN have failed to address, states NONAME have won are deeply entrenched RED states and will remain red for many years to come. Al Gore lost in his own state of TN in 2000, Edwards couldn't carry North Carolina in 2004. For Axelrod to say they would take Georgia, they're drinking too much koolaid. Florida will go to McCain and also Texas. New Jersey will go to GOP, the same with Michigan. In the month of April, Axelrod was asked where is their electoral map for General election, his reply; "we will find it" Many pundits especially CNN did not mention McCain already has 185 electoral college vote at his advantage while the Democractic Party is now scrambling where to get theirs. NONAME bragged they can take Colorado and New Mexico that is 9 and 5 electoral vote; Ohio will sink it in with over 20 electoral college vote and that will go GOP in general election. The Democratic Party know how to LOSE, they've earned their PHD in losing. For 40 years, the Democratic Party have ONLY won the Whitehouse 3 times, Carter and Bill Clinton (only second Democratic President to be elected twice after FDR). I am voting for McCain in general election, he is TRUSTWORTHY, I can't say the same thing to NOBAMA who is SHIFTY at best with SHADY CHARACTERS surrounding him.
